Obama and Sandy Hook...too many coincidences to ignore
By: Cat Shannon

Sandy Hook and Barack Obama...coincidences abound...coincidences involving a maybe tie with Michelle, the Medical Center where Adam Lanza was being treated, possible illegal modifications to the anti-psychotic drug he was supposedly on, politician's incestuous focus on mental health, and law enforcement giving away the fact that Adam's mother had guns...legally bought guns.

Myself and many others are growing increasingly fearful of our Feds, and the Hitlerish totalitarian things they're doing to push their radical gun control and registration agenda. I know it’s not the first time our government has manufactured a crisis using dark, nefarious characters to do its dirty work, and I absolutely believe that the Obama Administration is doing that even as I write this. And it seems all CT politicians and law enforcement are just as hostile toward gun ownership as Obama is, especially given the fact that gun control was pushed right after Sandy Hook.

Arizona didn't do it, nor did Colorado...so something bigger was needed to push their agenda...children!

So with all the lefts gun control crap going on, I did a little research on Adam Lanza and the drug he supposedly was on...Fanapt a schizophrenia drug. If you look at the list of first side-effects the first listed is "very stiff (rigid muscles)" which would explain his contorted grimacng face.

Then I took another look at the developer of the original drug, Vanda, and I looked up where they're located,...drum roll please...

Another tie-in is that Michelle was employed by the Chicago University Hospitals starting in 2002 and up until 2007 when Obama first ran for president, giving her plenty of time to develop relationships with new drug developers.

By the way, what medical center in their right mind would pay her $273,618 with NO medical or healthcare background experience? Her job was to deny poor people heathcare and I'm sure she saw her share of schizophrenics. Obama’s salary was $157,082 from the United States Senate, totaling $430,700 yet their 2006 Tax Return was $991,296. There is no known source I could find that would explain where the additional $560,596 came from. I didn’t look very hard because I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t find out the real facts. This money may have come from Vanda, and effectively the IRS would turn a blind-eye.

The Obama’s already knew he would win the Presidential election as it was 'fixed' from the beginning, and could/would influence getting drugs approved.

And even more disturbing and coincidental is that the original version of Fanapt won a 'surprise approval' in 2009. Hmmm...

Vanda posted a net loss of $8 million in the second quarter of 2012, yet revenue in the same quarter grew to $8.4 million because of higher Fanapt royalty payments. How does that work?! I have plenty of ideas about this little maneuver.

Novaris [pharma giant] had exclusive rights to market and develop variations of the drug since 2010 but dumped Vanda on October 8, 2012 without explanation. I suspect Vanda was changing the base medication and Novaris found out about it and wanted no part of it.

The Sandy Hook shooting took place on December 14, 2012.

It just seems to me that the timelines are all woven too tightly together at this point and definitely points squarely in the direction of an Obama connection to Sandy Hook,

The First Shuttle Flight

Today is the anniversary of the first Shuttle launch...back when the USA led in space and didn't have a POS POTUS who cut NASA's funds to almost nil so he could funnel that money to his freebie and handout programs to buy Democratic votes for the next election.

A new era in space flight began on April 12, 1981, when Space Shuttle Columbia, or STS-1, soared into orbit from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Astronaut John Young, a veteran of four previous spaceflights including a walk on the moon in 1972, commanded the mission. Navy test pilot Bob Crippen piloted the mission and would go on to command three future shuttle missions. The shuttle was humankind's first re-usable spacecraft. The orbiter would launch like a rocket and land like a plane. The two solid rocket boosters that helped push them into space would also be re-used, after being recovered in the ocean. Only the massive external fuel tank would burn up as it fell back to Earth. It was all known as the Space Transportation System.

Twenty years prior to the historic launch, on April 12, 1961, the era of human spaceflight began when Russian Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first human to orbit the Earth in his Vostock I spacecraft. The flight lasted 108 minutes.

Pictured here: a timed exposure of STS-1, at Launch Pad A,

U.N. report covers up Obama role in arming terrorists

Bombshell revelations show how secret administration policy is fueling conflicts

JERUSALEM – Questions remain about the Obama administration’s role in supplying arms to Libyan rebels as a United Nations report released this week reveals the weapons from Libya to extremists proliferating at an “alarming rate,” fueling conflicts in Mali, Syria, Gaza and elsewhere.

During the fight against Moammar Gadhafi’s regime in 2011, it was widely reported the Obama administration coordinated foreign arms shipments via cut outs to the Libyan rebels.

In December 2012, the New York Times reported that after discussions among members of the National Security Council, the Obama administration backed arms shipments to Libyan rebels from both Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

American officials told the Times that the UAE first approached the Obama administration during the early months of the Libyan uprising, asking for permission to ship American-built weapons that the U.S. had supplied for the emirates’ use.

The administration rejected the request to ship U.S. weapons, instead urging the emirates to ship foreign weapons to Libya that could not be traced to the U.S., the Times reported.

“The U.A.E. was asking for clearance to send U.S. weapons,” one former U.S. official told the Times. “We told them it’s O.K. to ship other weapons.”

The Times further reported in 2012 the White House “secretly gave its blessing to arms shipments to Libyan rebels from Qatar last year, but American officials later grew alarmed as evidence grew that Qatar was turning some of the weapons over to Islamic militants, according to United States officials and foreign diplomats.”

There is more evidence of the Obama administration OKing arms to Libyan rebels. In March 2011, Reuters broke the story that Obama had signed a secret order authorizing covert U.S. government support for rebel forces seeking to oust Gadhafi, quoting U.S. government officials.

Reuters noted the order was a principal form of presidential directive used to authorize secret operations by the Central Intelligence Agency.

That same month the U.K. Independent reported that “the Americans have asked Saudi Arabia if it can supply weapons to the rebels in Benghazi.”

Now the United Nations reports weapons initially sent to Benghazi are spreading from Libya at an “alarming rate,” fueling conflicts in Mali, Syria and beyond.

The report by the U.N. Security Council’s Group of Experts said the North African state had become a key source of weapons transfers in the region, specifically blaming Qatar and the UAE for arming the rebels.

While not referencing the U.S. support for the arms transfers, the U.N. experts said they had found that Qatar and the UAE had breached the arms embargo on Libya during the 2011 uprising by arming the rebels.

The experts said Qatar had denied the accusation, while the United Arab Emirates had not responded.

“Some 18 months after the end of the conflict, some of this materiel remains under the control of non-state actors within Libya and has been found in seizures of military material being trafficked out of Libya,” according to the report.

The U.N. cites cases, both proven and under investigation, of illicit transfers from Libya to more than 12 countries and also to terror and criminal groups, including heavy and light weapons, man-portable air defense systems, small arms and related ammunition and explosives and mines.

Benghazi-gate

Reuters reported the U.N. experts who penned this week’s report said transfers of arms to Syrian rebels had been organized from various locations in Libya, including Misurata and Benghazi, via Turkey or northern Lebanon.

“The significant size of some shipments and the logistics involved suggest that representatives of the Libyan local authorities might have at least been aware of the transfers, if not actually directly involved,” the experts said.

Confirming WND’s exclusive reporting for over a year, the New York Times last month reported that since early 2012, the CIA has been aiding Arab governments and Turkey in obtaining and shipping weapons to the Syrian rebels.

While the Times report claims most of the weapons shipments facilitated by the CIA began after the latest presidential election, Middle Eastern security officials speaking to WND have said U.S.-aided weapons shipments go back more than a year, escalating before the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. facilities in Benghazi.

In fact, the Middle Eastern security officials speaking to WND since last year describe the U.S. mission in Benghazi and nearby CIA annex attacked last September as an intelligence and planning center for U.S. aid to the rebels in the Middle East, particularly those fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime.

The aid, the sources stated, included weapons shipments and was being coordinated with Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Days after the Benghazi attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens, WND broke the story that Stevens himself played a central role in recruiting jihadists to fight Assad’s regime in Syria, according to Egyptian and other Middle Eastern security officials.

Stevens served as a key contact with the Saudis to coordinate the recruitment by Saudi Arabia of Islamic fighters from North Africa and Libya. The jihadists were sent to Syria via Turkey to attack Assad’s forces, said the security officials.

The officials said Stevens also worked with the Saudis to send names of potential jihadi recruits to U.S. security organizations for review. Names found to be directly involved in previous attacks against the U.S., including in Iraq and Afghanistan, were ultimately not recruited by the Saudis to fight in Syria, said the officials.

Last month’s New York Times article has bolstered WND’s reporting, citing air traffic data, interviews with officials in several countries and the accounts of rebel commanders describing how the CIA has been working with Arab governments and Turkey to sharply increase arms shipments to Syrian rebels in recent months.

The Times reported that the weapons airlifts began on a small scale in early 2012 and continued intermittently through last fall, expanding into a steady and much heavier flow late last year, the data shows.

The Times further revealed that from offices at “secret locations,” American intelligence officers have helped the Arab governments shop for weapons, including a large procurement from Croatia.

They have vetted rebel commanders and groups to determine who should receive the weapons as they arrive.

The CIA declined to comment to the Times on the shipments or its role in them.

The Times quoted a former American official as saying that David H. Petraeus, the CIA director until November, had been instrumental in helping set up an aviation network to fly in the weapons. The paper said Petraeus had prodded various countries to work together on the plan.

Petraeus did not return multiple emails from the Times asking for comment.

Both WND’s reporting, which first revealed the U.S.-coordinated arms shipments, and the Times reporting starkly contrast with statements from top U.S. officials who have denied aiding the supply of weapons to the rebels.

In February, the White House flatly denied involvement in arming the Syrian rebels, going so far as to say the Obama administration rejected a plan by former Secretary of State Clinton and then-CIA Director Petraeus to help arm the rebels.

Banished! Historic 'Don't Tread On Me' flag

City determines popular banner 'too partisan'

TreadWND Exclusive

The city of New Rochelle, N.Y., has removed the historic Gadsden “Don’t Tread On Me” flag from a military armory, deeming the flag “too partisan” because it often is used by the tea party movement.

And in response, veterans groups have tapped the Thomas More Law Center to take up the fight.

It was after an official ceremony on March 21 at the New Rochelle Armory that a new American flag was unfurled to replace the previous weathered flag that flew at the location. Beneath the new American flag, the yellow Gadsden Flag was flown, as is common tradition on many military sites.

However, within a week of the ceremony, City Manager Chuck Strome ordered the Gadsden flag be taken down because of “unidentified complaints” that the flag was a symbol of the tea party movement.

Peter Parente, president of the United Veterans Memorial and Patriotic Association of New Rochelle, sent Strome links to the history of the flag so he decided to allow it to remain.

But the city council then stepped in, voting 5-2 to order the flag to be removed.

The five members who voted to uphold its removal were Democrats, while the two voting to reinstate the flag were Republicans.

That same day, the public works department removed the flag.

Now the flag fight is headed to court.

“Their outrageous decision to confiscate a cherished symbol of our War for Independence smacks of pure partisan politics,” Richard Thompson, chief counsel of the Thomas More Law Center, stated.

“Many Americans fought and died for our independence under that flag, and the law center will take available means to return the Gadsden flag back on the veterans’ flag pole. As one Revolutionary War hero said, we ‘have just begun to fight,’” he added.

Parente and members of his organization organized a “Citizens To Be Heard” protest of the flag’s removal to take place at the April 9 city council meeting.

During the earlier meeting of the whole committee, city council member Shari Rackman compared the Gadsden flag to the rainbow flag, used to symbolize “gay” pride.

Rackman also alleged that veterans “refused” to remove the flag.

However, that account proved to be inaccurate.

The United Veterans sent a color guard to the armory to receive, fold and secure the flag. Moments later, DPW workers came to confiscate the flag and it was handed over. It was then taken to city hall, where it remains.

Over a half a century ago, New Rochelle chartered the veterans society, known as the UVMPA, to formally conduct veterans services, which include caring for memorials and monuments and upkeep and maintenance of armory flags throughout the city.

In the past, the city council has never sought to intervene in any aspect of the how the UVMPA fulfills its responsibilities. The Thomas More Law Center is confident it will be victorious in representing the interests of the veterans group.

The yellow Gadsden flag featuring a coiled snake and the phrase, “Don’t Tread On Me” is steeped in U.S. history dating back to its founding. It has been used by Marines and the Navy since 1775 and is often flown at Marine Corp bases and on Navy warships.

The New Rochelle armory was at one time a New York State Naval Militia Armory and training facility for both Navy and Marines.

Obama's Bloated, Tax Happy Budget Is Dead And Buried

By: Donald Lambro / Townhall Columnist
WASHINGTON - Let's not mince words. President Obama's nearly $4 trillion, big spending budget is dead on arrival.

No president in our nation's history has spent as much as Obama or run up more debt. His plan would result in a monstrous $744 billion budget deficit in 2014. It projects the national debt would grow to an unprecedented $25 trillion over the next decade from today's $16.8 trillion.

That will further endanger the government's already shaky solvency and undermine our economic future.

Despite a weak economy that grew by only 0.6 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012, and the snail's pace job growth that shrank sharply last month, his budget calls for nearly $700 billion in new taxes on employers, investors, and households in the highest tax brackets. Even smokers would have to pay nearly $1 more for a pack of cigarettes.

If you thought Obama's class warfare ended with his re-election campaign, forget it. In addition to raising taxes on just about anything that moves, he wants to impose a new minimum tax rate of 30 percent on people who make more than $1 million a year.

And brace yourself, because he says he's not budging this time from his demand for higher tax rates.

Any budget deal later this year, he said Wednesday in his remarks in the White House rose garden, must raise new tax revenue from "the wealthiest individuals and biggest corporations."

And that's on top of the $600 billion he has previously approved in higher income taxes on Americans earning more than $400,000 a year. In the space of two years, he will squeeze $1.3 trillion more out of our sluggish, over-taxed, under-invested economy when millions of struggling businesses are hiring less and many Americans can't find full-time jobs.

This is an economy that cries out for bold, new initiatives to boost venture capital investment for business expansion and new start- ups to put people back to work. But Obama's budget doesn't offer one substantive initiative that would do this.

Instead, he wants hundreds of billions in more spending -- at least $300 billion more just for additional public works jobs on top of the nearly $800 billion he poured into similar projects in his first term. All that spending had little if any lasting impact on the economy or the real unemployment rate, now estimated at nearly 14 percent if you add part-timers who need full-time jobs and discouraged adults who stopped looking for work.

His latest budget plan is bulging with new spending for the laundry list of initiatives he spelled out in his expensive State of the Union address, including an ambitious $77 billion expansion of pre- school education. And that's just for starters.

There's more money for his green energy boondoggles that have led to embarrassing bankruptcies and relatively few jobs. There's $100 billion for roads and railways, $1 billion for 15 new federal institutes to teach innovation to manufacturers, and $8 billion for community colleges to help students obtain jobs. The spending list is seemingly endless.

Ask economists what is driving the government's higher deficits -- besides entitlements and discretionary spending -- and they'll point to weak economic growth and the high unemployment rates that have squeezed government tax revenues. Obama's anti-job growth budget is Exhibit A in both cases.

His budget also calls for modest cuts in Social Security benefits by curbing the way annual cost of living increases are measured. But the Democrats will never vote to slow the growth in entitlements.

When Obama took office in 2009, he promised to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term.

He's never come close.

Obama's record-shattering deficits since he took office: $1.4 trillion in 2009; $1.3 trillion in 2010; $1.3 trillion in 2011; $1.2 trillion in 2012; and nearly $900 billion this year, according to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office.

Unprecedented federal spending levels, far in excess of the government's income, are also fattening the publicly held debt as a percentage of the U.S. economy. In 2010, that debt rose to more than 50 percent of the economy.

Under Obama's budget it would get worse, a lot worse. According to CBO, the ballooning debt will be 87.4 percent of the economy by 2021 if steps are not taken to slow the rate of spending and strengthen economic growth.

"Obama turned a temporary expansion of government, through TARP and the auto bailouts, into a permanent expansion of government," says Stanford University economist Keith Hennessey.

"Before Obama, federal spending averaged 20 percent of GDP (the economy's entire gross domestic product) for decades. Now he is presiding over a much bigger government, at 24 percent," Hennessey says.

Obama wasn't in a hurry to send this budget to Capitol Hill. He was no doubt taking time to ruminate about his politically risky proposal to cut into Social Security cost-of-living increases would fare in his own party. They didn't like it.

While the change in the inflation measurement sounds courageous, it would reduce future cost of living increases by a mere three-tenths of one percentage point annually, or about $13 billion a year.

In terms of the huge insolvency gap we face from entitlements, his thimble-sized proposal hardly nicked the problem.

Or maybe Obama realized that presidential budgets, for all the media attention, are routinely ignored by Congress. In this case, though, the House and Senate budgets had already left the station before his plan got there.

Arriving 65 days late, this is the first time in almost 100 years that a president has sent his budget to the Hill long after House

Republicans and Senate Democrats adopted their own spending plans.

There's a vast difference between Congress's versions. The House raises no taxes, balances the budget and reforms Medicare, offering a choice between the existing system or a federally-assisted, less costly private plan.

The Senate's bill would raise taxes, doesn't balance the budget and ignores entitlements. In fact, four Democrats voted against it.

The unfathomable policy-making gulf between the two still seems beyond the reach of any possible compromise. There is no way the House will vote to raise either taxes or spending.

But with Obama's plan on the burial list, maybe there's a glimmer of hope that a scaled down budget with no new taxes can emerge later this year. We'll see.

Object Lesson: "Temporary" Amnesty Never Dies

By: Michelle Malkin / Townhall Columnist

Does America lack "compassion" and "humanity" for uninvited foreigners? Quite the contrary. While open-borders activists rail against "injustice" and demand new "pathways to citizenship," official U.S. policy rewards countless line-jumpers with permanent residency and taxpayer-subsidized benefits.

Case in point: the massive "Temporary Protected Status" (TPS) program run by the Department of Homeland Security.

In theory, as the DHS website describes it, the Secretary of Homeland Security "may designate a foreign country for TPS due to conditions in the country that temporarily prevent the country's nationals from returning safely, or in certain circumstances, where the country is unable to handle the return of its nationals adequately." Those conditions include hurricanes, environmental catastrophes, civil war, epidemics and other "extraordinary and temporary conditions."

The U.S. allows illegal aliens from TPS-designated countries to live here, work here, be protected from detention or deportation, and travel freely. It's essentially a bad-weather pass into the U.S.

Whenever a natural disaster strikes, we allow legions of foreigners who entered illegally -- mostly from Latin America -- to stay here while their homelands recover.

In the meantime, TPS winners can apply for a panoply of other immigration benefits and protections and file for "adjustment of status" to pave the way to permanent legalization. In fact, the official draft application for Obamacare lists "Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Applicant for Temporary Protected Status (TPS)" as an "eligible immigration status."

Yep, that means you don't even have to be a legit, approved TPS designee to qualify for Obamacare.

If you merely filed paperwork to be an "applicant" for TPS, you're in like Flynn! DHS documents are now officially pimping Obamacare to foreigners. And GOP Senate Budget Committee staffers estimate that covering illegal aliens could raise the cost of Obamacare by $120 billion to $200 billion in its first decade.

In theory, TPS beneficiaries are supposed to go home after their native countries improve. In practice, there is nothing temporary about these "temporary" reprieves for hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens from around the world.

Last week, DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano announced that TPS had been extended for at least 70,000 Hondurans and Nicaraguans "for an additional 18 months, beginning July 6, 2013, and ending Jan. 5, 2015." Thanks to American generosity, these TPS winners have been here since 1998 -- when Hurricane Mitch hit their homeland.

That was 15 years ago.

Another 250,000 illegal aliens from El Salvador first won TPS golden tickets after an earthquake struck the country ... in January 2001. In addition, 60,000 Haitians received TPS after the earthquakes in 2010. Last fall, Napolitano extended their stay until at least 2014. Several hundred Somalis remain in the country with TPS first granted in 1991, along with some 700 Sudanese who first secured TPS benefits in 1997. Last March, the Obama administration extended TPS to an estimated 3,000 Syrian illegal aliens. Guatemala and Pakistan are lobbying for their own TPS designations.

As I explained when former President George W. Bush reflexively renewed work and residence permits for a quarter-million El Salvadoran illegal aliens in 2005, TPS designations are TINO: temporary in name only. Beneficiaries are supposed to register with the government. But DHS will do little to nothing to track them down once their status expires (if ever). Remember: After more than two decades, the federal government still doesn't even have an entry-exit database in place to track legal short-term visa holders.

TPS beneficiaries are supposed to provide proof that they arrived here on an eligible date, committed no more than two misdemeanors (!) and no felonies, and maintained a continuous presence in the country. But the feds' past experience with amnesties dating back to 1986 shows that the programs are dangerously rife with unchecked document fraud.

The prescient Federation for American Immigration Reform saw right through this transparent social and electoral engineering scheme. In congressional testimony from 1999, the organization warned:

"For the past 20 years, we have seen these programs transformed into backdoor immigration programs that are manipulated by the lobbying of foreign governments, ethnic lobbies and our own political leadership alike. Each special program that provides short-term relief has been followed by persistent demands for similar treatment by other groups and nationalities, not necessarily made up of persons in the same circumstances. It has now been politicized beyond recognition, and certainly no longer deserves the support of the general public."

"Temporary" amnesties never die. They just keep rolling and rolling along, producing new waves of cheap votes for Democrats and cheap labor for Big Business. American sovereignty, RIP.

President Obama’s Fiscal Year 2014 budget includes $30 million in new funding to “track gun violence” and to research strategies that might prevent it.

Of that new $30 million flowing to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, $10 million will support “gun violence prevention research” and $20 million will be spent on expansion of CDC’s National Violent Death Reporting System.

Here’s what the CDC budget justification (page 233) says about the $10 million for new research into “gun violence”:

In addition to the approximately 30,000 firearm-related homicides and suicides a year, more than 58,000 non-fatal firearm injuries from assault or self-harm are treated in hospital emergency departments annually. Together, each year they account for more than $35.3 billion in medical and lost productivity costs to the United States.

The President’s plan, Now is the Time, calls for public health research on gun violence to give all Americans the information they need. To address the numerous gaps in the evidence base for firearm injury prevention, CDC will use $10 million to begin conducting research into the causes and prevention of gun violence.
