Israel Arrested Jihad Kidnapper behind Murder of the 3 Jewish Teens, “Funded by Hamas”
Pamela Geller / Atlas Shrugs

Fleeing with the aid of his Muslim family. Funded by Hamas. And the worst part is that one of the jihad murderers was released in one of those infamous prison-for-peace release programs.
Israel: We caught kidnapper behind murder of the 3 teens,” JTA, August 5, 2014 (thanks to Zeid)
JERUSALEM (JTA) — A West Bank man said to be the leader of the terrorist cell that kidnapped and killed three Israeli teenagers in June was arrested.
A gag order on reporting the arrest, which took place more than three weeks ago, was lifted Tuesday evening, according to Israeli media.
Hussam Kawasme of Hebron was apprehended while attempting to flee to Jordan under a false identity with the help of his family, Ynet reported. Kawasme reportedly admitted to serving as the leader of the cell that perpetrated the murders of Gilad Shaar, Naftali Fraenkel and Eyal Yifrach. Kawasme said that funding for the attack, which he used to buy weapons, came from Hamas in Gaza.
In his interrogation, Kawasme said he helped bury the bodies on a plot of land he had purchased two months prior to the murders. He then helped the two men who drove the car and shot the teens hide.
Security forces are still searching for the two men — Kawasme’s brother, Marwan, and Omar Abu Aysha. Marwan Kawasme, who is active in Hamas, was freed in the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange and deported to Gaza, The Times of Israel reported.
Another suspected cell member, Hussan Dofesh, also was arrested a month ago in Hebron.

We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a new world order — a world where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful — and we will be — we have a real chance at this new world order…” — George H.W. Bush in his Jan. 16, 1991, address to the Nation announcing allied military action in the Persian Gulf

Twenty-three years ago, President George H.W. Bush spoke of his vision for a new world order (NWO). It was heady times to be the President of the United States. It took only a few months for Bush to soundly defeat Saddam Hussein’s military and drive the Iraqis out of Kuwait. At the same time, the Soviet Union was collapsing. And in 1989, the Berlin Wall had fallen, as scores of Soviet satellite nations were breaking away from the Kremlin. China was moving away from being a closed-off military power, with the country focusing its sights on growing its economy and its manufacturing.

The “peace dividend” was at hand for Bush, who presumed that the United Nations would help build a world utopia ruled by a benevolent government.

More than two decades later, the NWO remains a fearful contemplation, but one best left for futuristic novels. While many people still sell NWO conspiracy theories in detail (except for their lack of evidence), societies are fracturing at the regional, national and international levels.

Now, halfway through 2014, a sandstorm is blowing out of the Mideast and in Central Europe as tribal, political and religious hatreds boil over into mayhem far beyond the control of a centralized world government.

Along the Gaza Strip, the hatred has spilled so far that diplomacy has become pointless, allowing atrocities by Jews and Arabs to fall toward new lows — each time committed by the ideology of their world order, not a NWO.

Ukraine, the starting point for wars in the past century, is erupting in civil war today, threatening to pull in old foes like the Western powers and Russia into a conventional and eventually a nuclear confrontation.

New World Order Hardly New

I started work with an investment newsletter 35 years ago. I was just a kid two years out of college, and my professional experience was mostly limited to writing about purebred cattle. I was hardly able to muster a sentence when my father — who, to my good fortune, believed in nepotism — hired me on as a researcher.

I spent that first year reading every newsletter that came in the mail, and there were dozens of them. I remember back in 1980 the anti-Trilateralists were in full swing. It was said that the Trilateralists were members of rich industrialists of the 20th century such as the Rockefellers. The-sky-is-falling newsletters said that the Trilateralists’ goal was to take over the world — in other words, one world government.

Each day, I read how the Trilateralists — this cabal of evil men in the United States, Japan and Western Europe — would soon take over the world. This secret organization was all hush-hush, of course; so it was common sense that none of those newsletter publishers could provide details as to who these players were and what their plan was, except to stir up fear of a world government conquest and along the way sell a lot of subscriptions. But the villains were never named, nor were the specifics of their terrible plot other than to say it was the work of world leaders, industrialists and Jews.

Conservatives, Let’s Get Our PRIORITIES Straight

By Craig Andresen / The National Patriot

solve 1Well, thank GOD that all our LITTLE insignificant problems as a nation have been resolved. Honestly, they were getting a bit annoying.

You know, thinks like our soaring national debt…all $18 TRILLION dollars of it and rising. Pesky really. But apparently, that’s been fixed so there is NOTHING more to worry about in that regard and may I just add…it’s about damn time.

GAS prices must be on THEIR way down which also means that nobody will have to worry this coming winter about the cost to heat their homes as the cost of electricity must also be dropping.

How’s your 401k doing?

Last week’s nose dive doesn’t mean a thing. Just because the Fed may stop artificially propping up the stock market and driving inflation up but…no worries.

Aren’t you glad that Obamacare finally got fixed? Admit it…YOU getting tired of seeing the same old doctor and having the same old insurance you’ve had for years? I know I was but now…BOY oh BOY…we have new and improved GOVERNMENT mandated health insurance to take the place of that old crap we USED to have and I, as a guy, am just GIDDY that for the first time in my life…MY visit to the gynecologist will finally be covered…after I pay my whopping deductible that is but hey…I’m resting better NOW than I did BEFORE Obamacare and I’m willing to bet YOU are too.

Darn good thing we don’t have any problems down on the southern border huh? Could you IMAGINE what things would be like if it STILL wasn’t secure down there? Why…ILLEGAL ALIENS might still be thinking they could waltz into our country any old time they liked but…not today.

We SOLVED that nuisance problem didn’t we?

On Tuesday, CNN's Wolf Blitzer hosted Hamas spokesman Osama Hamden. The week before, Hamdan labeled Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "a new image of Hitler" on the network. But now, for some reason, Blitzer stumbled into a random act of journalism: He asked Hamdan about comments he had made suggesting that Jews used Christian blood in matza. Hamdan stumbled around and blamed the Jews for their action in Gaza.

Blitzer called Hamdan's comments an "awful, awful smear."

The very fact that this represented a unique moment in the media coverage of the Israel-Hamas Gaza war demonstrates the malpractice of the media. The first questions on the media's collective tongue should have been: What does Hamas stand for? What are its goals? Why does it use women and children as human shields? Why does it hide military resources in civilian areas?

But that had to wait for a month.

In the meantime, CNN viewers saw an unending stream of dramatic images from Gaza of Palestinian Arab suffering: heavy blasts from Israeli ordinance, screaming women, bleeding children. Every so often, CNN punctuated its coverage with death toll statistics -- never mentioning that it received those statistics from the Palestinians themselves, and neglecting to mention the Palestinians' regular practice of classifying dead terrorists as civilians. Then CNN asked questions about Israeli "proportionality" and wondered aloud about whether Israeli strikes were sufficiently "targeted."

If you want to know why the conflict between the dramatically overpowering Israeli military and the sadistically brutal Hamas has continued for weeks, look no further than CNN and its like-minded media brethren. Hamas' goals in this conflict did not include military victory; Hamas may be evil, but it is not stupid. Its main goal was to shore up its base by achieving small concessions from Israel and Egypt, as well as the Palestinian Authority; those concessions could only be achieved if Israel could be portrayed as an international aggressor against a terror group.

And that's where the media manipulation came in. Hamas placed heavy restrictions on journalists and even threatened them. Hamas put women and children and mentally ill people in harm's way for the cameras, and as a deterrent to Israeli military action.

And the media went right along with it, proclaiming balance all the way. When I was on CNN this week with Alisyn Camerota, she maintained that CNN provided balance by presenting "both sides," to which I responded that presenting both sides in a battle between Hamas and Israel is not balance, but anti-Israel bias. No Western media member would, in 1944, have assumed that balance meant quoting both Winston Churchill and Julius Streicher. To do so would have been to forward propaganda.

But that is precisely what the media have done. They have turned balance into a synonym for amorality. In doing so, they have handed a propaganda victory to evil.

Navi Pillay, U.N. high commissioner for human rights, has accused both Israel and Hamas militants of committing war crimes in the Gaza conflict. Her harshest criticism, as well as that of most nations, has been reserved for the Israeli government, charging that it has committed war crimes in direct violation of the Geneva Conventions. In the wake of the huge difference in casualties and property destruction, many in the West have accused the Israeli government of making a grossly disproportionate response to terrorist rocket attacks. A New York Times (July 23, 2014) article titled "As Much of the World Frowns on Israel, Americans Hold Out Support" says that a number of "world leaders and demonstrators pointed to the lopsided number of Palestinian casualties -- more than 650, most of them civilians -- versus 35 on the Israeli side, 32 of them soldiers." By now, those numbers have tripled, but let's think about some of the arguments being made.

First, let's take a historical look at proportionality in response to an attack. In February 1945, in Dresden, Germany, 25,000 lives were lost in one night and the city was reduced to rubble as a result of British and U.S. bombers firebombing. In March 1945, 300 U.S. B-29 planes dropped incendiary bombs on Tokyo, killing more than 100,000 people, with millions injured and made homeless. Later, atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, leading to even greater loss of life and property destruction. Who's willing to criticize the Allies for lack of proportionality in response to Germany's and Japan's attacks? Though the Allies brought about a horrible loss of life and massive destruction, one thing is very clear and indisputable: Neither country has attacked ever since.

Anti-Semitic attacks have skyrocketed in Europe in the wake of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It's not just a criticism of Israel's foreign policy; it's an attack on Jews. Synagogues have faced Molotov cocktails, bomb threats and vandalism. Several European cities have seen slogans such as "Dirty Jews," "Jews your end is near," "Out with Zionists," "Israel executioner" and "Save Gaza! Hitler, you were right!" According to RT, over the past month there has been a 50 percent increase in hate crimes against Jews in Britain.

The Western anti-Semitic and anti-Israel response is amazing and somewhat disconcerting. Israel is the only democratic nation in the Middle East. It has respect for relatively free markets, personal liberty and private property rights. Many Westerners give their moral support to Muslims who, as a matter of religion, practice brutal control of women that includes honor killings. Many Muslims consider homosexuality to be not only a sin but a crime under Islamic law punishable by death. What Westerners consider basic human rights are often outlawed in Islamic nations. The Quran is the religious guide of Islam, and Muslims believe it to be a revelation from God. It contains more than 100 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule. Westerners who condemn Israel and support the recent anti-Semitic attacks -- or remain silent in the face of them -- are by no means spared from Islamic condemnation as infidels.

It has to be heart-rending to any decent person to witness the suffering of the Palestinians, who're experiencing a major tragedy both in casualties and in property destruction. Though it is Hamas firing rockets into Israel, the ordinary Palestinian is not to be held blameless. Palestinians know that Hamas is storing rockets and building tunnels in civilian areas and that if Israel tries to take out these rockets and tunnels, civilian casualties will be part of the collateral damage. Their silence and acceptance implies support for the tactics of Hamas.

Gen. William T. Sherman told the 1879 graduating class of the Michigan Military Academy, "War is hell." There's no nice war, and that's why war should be a last alternative. Those Westerners who criticize Israel's response to close to 3,000 rocket attacks might tell us what Israel should do in response -- just take the rockets, surrender or leave the Middle East?
