Rubio’s Defense of the GOP Majority
Floridians will remember Labor Day 2016 by the arrival of a hurricane named Hermine. She unpacked her comeback punch of 80 mph winds just before moving onshore. There's another comeback punch I believe will also be attributed to this time in history: that of U. S. Senator Marco Rubio.

The biggest of swing states, Florida is again the poster child of battleground states. Her conservative and socially conservative voters are poised to rise and lead this nation in defense of a liberal hijacking of the U. S. Supreme Court.

And they’ll help Marco Rubio get elected to defend it.

The mainstream media was ready to pen the narrative that Senator Marco Rubio’s shortfall in his Presidential quest would also doom any hope of defending his Senate seat. Hillary was being projected as a sure bet to take care of business in Florida.

Now I’m not a betting man, but after looking at the numbers of our just completed Florida Primary, I wouldn’t even paper trade this scenario.

More on that in a moment, but first an insider’s look at Marco Rubio.

One of my professional responsibilities is that of a legislative consultant in Tallahassee for the last 21 years. During that time I’ve witnessed a flock of legislators come and go. When you work behind the scenes, you get to know the players in ways the public rarely sees.

CNN Poll: Clinton Blows Double Digit Lead, Trails Trump By Two Points Nationally A new CNN poll shows Republican Donald Trump has closed an 11-point gap with Democrat Hillary Clinton and leads her nationally in the race for the White House by two points.
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton start the race to November 8 on essentially even ground, with Trump edging Clinton by a scant two points among likely voters, and the contest sparking sharp divisions along demographic lines in a new CNN/ORC Poll.

Trump tops Clinton 45% to 43% in the new survey, with Libertarian Gary Johnson standing at 7% among likely voters in this poll and the Green Party's Jill Stein at just 2%.
Among those likely to turn out in the fall, both candidates have secured about the same share of their own partisans (92% of Democrats back Clinton, 90% of Republicans are behind Trump) but independents give Trump an edge, 49% say they'd vote for him while just 29% of independent voters back Clinton.
Here's a key point from Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway.

And he has this going for him:
A majority of Clinton's supporters say they're less excited about voting this year than usual (55%) while most of Trump's backers say they're more excited this time around (56%).
Trump is leading Clinton on the issues of the economy and terrorism, while Clinton beats him out on foreign policy and immigration. He also leads Clinton on trustworthiness 50 percent to 35 percent.

It's clear the recent campaign shakeup, Trump's trip to Mexico last week and Hillary Clinton's ongoing email scandal and Clinton Foundation woes are having a significant impact.

Google’s search engines use faked results to pervert true meaning of jihad

Pamela Geller / Atlas Shrugs

Google’s skewed and biased search results are long known. This website rarely comes up in search results on issues I have focused on for fifteen years (despite its large readership). This website gets virtually no traffic, no referrals from Google. The proverbial deck is stacked in the information battle-space.
How Google’s search engines use faked results to manipulate people’s views of jihad,” By Robert Spencer, September 5, 2016:
This post by Jihad Watch tech expert Marc offers extraordinary insight into how Google skews its presentation of information in order to manipulate people into accepting half-truths and falsehoods that serve the Left’s agenda. He explains how Google deliberately manipulates its results when...

Soros group spent $600,000 on “countering the anti-migrant rhetoric and toxic narratives surrounding migration in Europe”
The people in Europe and North America are being manipulated and misled on a massive scale. Defense of our nations and our people is cast as “bigotry” and “xenophobia” and “Islamophobia” by moneyed interests that want to destroy nation states and affect a globalization that will make and is making our nations more dangerous, poorer […]
