President Trump: North Korea Will Be Met With Fire and Fury If They Continue Nuclear Threats
"North Korea best not make any more threats to he United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen," he said. "He [North Korean President Kim Jung Un] has been threatening beyond any normal state. They will be met with fire, fury and frankly power the likes of which the world has never seen."
Since Trump took office in January, North Korea has tested a number of missiles and has repeatedly threatened to attack the United States. Over the weekend, the UN Security Council voted 15-0 to heavily sanction the regime, for which President Kim Jung Un has vowed retaliation.
“It was a gut-punch to North Korea, to let them know the international community is tired of it and we’re going to start fighting back," UN Ambassador Haley said during an interview with Fox News Monday night. "At the end of the day how many ICBM tests do we need to see before we do something? Every dollar of revenue that the North Korean government gets, they’re not feeding their people with it. They’re using it toward a nuclear weapons system. Going after these sanctions is going after their ability to build these missiles. It's something that needed to happen."
