Op-ed:

The media blows it yet again
By: Diane Sori

I cannot believe what I heard on FOX yesterday morning. FOX News, the supposedly conservative network, did something so stupid I'm almost at a loss for words...for FOX announced on national television the Benghazi whistleblowers names, thus putting them and their families in danger of being forced into silence by this miserable administration.

And while online and print newspapers have picked up the story, FOX, as the most watched and trusted news station in the country, with its millions upon millions of viewers, let the identity be known of those trying to expose the lies and cover-ups done by this administration in regards to Benghazi, as well as their trying to avenge the MURDERS of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, and former Navy SEALS Tyrone Wooks, and Glen Doughty.

FOX reporter Chad Pergram tweeted, and FOX reported, the names of the Benghazi whistleblowers earlier released by The House Oversight Committee (another stupid move) as being Gregory Hicks, deputy chief of mission at the US Embassy in Libya at the time of the September assault; Mark Thompson, former Marine and deputy coordinator for operations at the State Department’s Counterterrorism Bureau; and Eric Nordstrom, the former top security officer in Libya....for all to hear. (I only repeat the names here because they have now become part of the public record.)

And FOX repeated those names over and over during their programs throughout the day and night.

NOT good...NOT good at all, and it gets worse for even committee chair Darrel Issa, whose House Oversight and Government Reform Committee is before whom the whistleblowers will testify, issued a statement that read, the three men have "critical information about what occurred before, during, and after the Benghazi terrorist attacks that differs on key points from what Administration officials...have portrayed."

What the hell are these supposedly 'on our side' people thinking!

Why don't they just put a bullseye on these brave men for in reality, letting this 'should have been kept secret until the time of testimony' information leak out, these men and their families now become sitting targets for all in this administration who fear the truth getting out.

That means above all else Barack HUSSEIN Obama and Hillary Clinton...the two biggest traitors to America in recent history.

Logic would have one believe that with these testimonies being so critical to getting to the truth about what happened the night of September 11, 2012, that secrecy and protecting the identity of these men would be paramount above all else, especially for Eric Nordstrom who testified before the House Oversight Committee back in October, saying that his superiors opposed his efforts to build up security in Benghazi prior to the attack, leading Nordstrom to angrily declare "for me, the Taliban is on the inside of the [State Department] building."

How right Eric Nordstrom was in October and how right he is now.

And with x-number of days still to go before these men testify, the Obama administration, and all those who orbit around 'the anointed one', will have time to pull supposedly 'legal' but in reality 'illegal' maneuvers, issue veiled threats, and circulate lies and innuendos concerning these men and their families in an all out effort to, if NOT silence these men completely, to at least discredit their testimony before they even appear before the Oversight Committee .

And you know damn well they will do all of the above, because that's how the Obama administration operates against those who dare oppose them....against those who demand the truth from the most non-transparent lying administration in our country's history. In fact, its already been reported that these whistleblowers, and others who wanted to come forward and speak out, have already been threatened with retaliation, including losing their career jobs, thus prevented some from coming forward, something the State Department has denied.

Like we can believe anything the former Hillary Clinton and the now John 'Swiftboat' Kerry State Department says.

All we can hope for now is that as the days tick down to this all important testimony is that these brave men and their families remain safe...that they stand strong against what we all know Obama and his people will try to pull...and above all else that their testimony...the truth...starts the dominoes falling, because once one falls, once one person involved in Benghazi is discredited and proven to be a liar, they will all fall one by one.

And that is something that will make a difference....hear that Hillary.

And maybe, just maybe, Barack HUSSEIN Obama will get his just desserts (arrest, try, and convict for treason) in the end, and Hillary Clinton can kiss 2016 good-bye as off to jail she will go. That is if the media, including FOX News, shuts their BIG mouths and stops calling attention to the very men who could bring about the downfall of this miserable excuse of a president and his equally miserable former Secretary of State.

  1. Fox was the only network that did any digging into the Benghazi attacks. I don't think that FOX did anything wrong by releasing the names of the whistle-blowers. FOX did this country a favor by doing that because it forces the other networks to cover and discuss Benghazi.

    1. While it does that it also puts their lives in danger as this administration is capable of anything.

    2. Diane...there is a 72 hour in advance requirement, for releasing the names of witnesses...this became public info on May 3rd in order to comply with that requirement!!! HUSTUSA

  2. Whistle-blowers lives are always in danger whether their names are mentioned or not....it's always been like that in the history of our government

    1. You might be right about that but this administation has more 'funny business' going on in it tn any other administration that came before

  3. We cannot complain that all of the news should be reported regardless of the particular network's 'agenda' and then pick and choose which news they should report, just as we cannot complain about the administration's ignoring the parts of the Constitution they don't like. Reporters should simply report the news...meaning ALL of the news.

Once these names were out there in even just one place, the administration had the names, it doesn't matter if they were only mentioned 1 time someplace or over and over. ~ SJ Husak At Large - CONSERVATIVE SPOKEN HERE https://www.facebook.com/s.j.hUSAk

    1. I agree and don't agree at the same time. By anyone reporting their names it did put them and there families in danger, and the problem with FOX reporting it is their numbers reach. Whistleblowers need to be protected at all costs.

  6. I agree with you, Diane. It used to be that if someone let something like that leak in the past, they were tried for treason. Now it seems like all the stops are off. My question is, if there was a leak, was it really a leak, or do you think there is someone inside Fox who could be facilitating this administration?

Don't know if this comment will label me as Anonymous2, so I did.

    1. Personally, I think there is a traitor in FOX as the only ones on FOX I really trust are Hannity, Malkin, and Krathhamer. Many of the others, like Greta and O'Reily, play both sides and it's sickening.

  7. First it was we cannot comment until the investigation is over and then when it was over...... “What difference does it make at this point” says Hillary, the next president of the United States?

    1. They are pretty safe but NOT their family members. They should have held the names at least until tomorrow but that's just my opinion.
