Erdogan Delivers Scathing Speech Aimed at John Bolton

Erdogan Delivers Scathing Speech Aimed at John Bolton
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan rejected a request from national security advisor John Bolton to protect U.S. allies fighting in the region. He did, however, threaten them with military strikes. It turns out he's a little on edge after Bolton told Erdogan that U.S. troops would stay in Syria unless Turkey promised not to hurt the Kurds.

“John Bolton made a serious mistake,” Mr. Erdogan told lawmakers from the Justice & Development Party. “Those who share the same view are also deeply wrong.”

Trump reportedly did not demand that Kurdish forces be protected in former phone calls with Erdogan and the Turkish leader was frustrated that "different opinions have begun to be heard from different levels of the Trump administration."

He also reportedly refused to meet with Bolton when he was visiting Turkey this week.
On Tuesday, instead of meeting Mr. Bolton, Mr. Erdogan warned in an address to the Turkish parliament that Turkey, which has stationed troops along the border, stood ready to launch an offensive into northern Syria to teach a “necessary lesson” to the Kurdish fighters.

Senator Sanders and Rep. Rashida Tlaib blast the reintroduction of anti boycott-Jews (BDS) bill
By KFreedom - THE GELLER REPORT
Senator Bernie Sanders treats America’s enemies better than he treats Israel. Senator Marco Rubio reintroduced anti-BDS legislation in congress last Friday. The legislation was predictably blasted by the Israel-hater and bigot Bernie Sanders. Sanders’ hatred of Israel runs so deep that he will do anything within his power to stop pro-Israel legislation.

Sanders tweeted: “It’s absurd that the first bill during the shutdown is legislation which punishes Americans who exercise their constitutional right to engage in political activity.” Once again, Sanders is lying. Sanders knows that his supporters are not engaging in acceptable political activity. His supporters are engaging in violence, intimidation, harassment, and bullying against pro-Israel Americans. Sanders does not want there to be civil debate about Israel, because he knows that his supporters would lose. Instead, Sanders would much prefer a scenario in which pro-Israel Americans are marginalized, which is what the BDS movement seeks to do.

Rosenstein to leave DOJ once new attorney general confirmed, officials say

By Louis Casiano, Jake Gibson | Fox News

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is expected to leave his role in the coming weeks once a new attorney general is confirmed, Justice Department officials told Fox News.

Rosenstein wants to ensure a smooth transition for incoming AG Nominee Bill Barr and plans to transition out of the job in the coming weeks, the officials said.

Rosenstein long thought of his time as DAG as a two-year position and the two-year mark is coming soon, officials close to the departing attorney general told Fox News.

AMERICA NEEDS BILL BARR TO TAKE THE REINS AT THE BADLY DAMAGED JUSTICE DEPARTMENT

ABC News was the first to report on Rosenstein’s departure.

Speculation of Rosenstein’s departure mounted after the firing of former Attorney Jeff Sessions in November. He has overseen Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into whether Russia meddled in the 2016 presidential election and has been a target of Trump on Twitter.

TRUMP OUTLINES BORDER ‘CRISIS’: President Trump made his case for funding his long-promised border wall Tuesday night, taking his case directly to the nation with an address from the Oval Office, and calling the surge of illegal immigration a "growing humanitarian and security crisis" ... The president's speech drew seemingly deep lines in the sand as Republicans and Democrats plan to meet Wednesday to continue negotiations on ending the partial federal government shutdown over border wall funding, which is now in its third week.
Trump drew a correlation between border security and the opioid crisis and drug deaths in the United States, calling for the closure of the pipeline that enables "vast quantities of illegal drugs – including meth, heroin, cocaine and fentanyl" to cross the border. Trump also paid tribute to several Americans allegedly killed by suspected illegal immigrants, including California police Cpl. Ronil Singh, whom authorities say was killed the day after Christmas by an illegal immigrant suspected of driving drunk.
