Gov. Noem hits back at Ben & Jerry's over Mt. Rushmore opposition: 'They have no idea what they're doing'
Ice cream maker called for America to return "stolen Indigenous land" to mark July 4th

In a controversial tweet on July 4th, Ben & Jerry's called on America to return "stolen indigenous land," starting with Mount Rushmore. On "Fox & Friends" Thursday, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem defended her state's historic landmark, saying it is a source of "inspiration" and the "greatest symbol of our freedom."

GOV. KRISTI NOEM: I'm not going to listen to a bunch of liberal Vermont businessmen who think they know everything about this country and haven't studied our history. Right now, Mount Rushmore is the greatest symbol of our freedom and history of the United States of America. We can learn from the men on that mountain. We can do better. But, boy, they led us through some challenging times. And I think Americans in this country need some inspiration, and we can gain it from a monument like that. We should be proud of America and knock off what Ben & Jerry's is doing. They don't have any idea what they're doing. Read more, see tweet, and videos here.

Cocainegate Just Got Even Strange
Spencer Brown / Townhall Tipsheet

While President Biden's spokespeople refuse to say whether the administration will be transparent with the American people about the results of the Secret Service investigation of the cocaine found in the West Wing on Sunday, those "involved" with the situation changed their story on Thursday.

According to NBC News, "multiple officials involved in the White House cocaine inquiry now say the bag of powder was found in a cubby near the White House's West Executive entrance, not the formal West Wing lobby as was previously reported."

So, what was stated before was either incorrect or a lie? That should help the Biden administration brush off the appearance of being engaged in some sort of cover-up...

The location officials described most recently to NBC News is "an entrance area between the foyer and a lower-level lobby...near where some vehicles, like the vice president’s limo or SUV park." Read more, see tweets and vdeo here.
