Op-ed:
It's All About Timing

The Op-ed posted here is my opinion alone, and does not necessarily represent the views of blogspot.com

...However, other important issues must also be dealt with, but there's no need to wait for 2024 to do so as they can be dealt with now. And here I speak of a much needed referendum on the social and moral issues dividing our country today. And this includes the forced indoctrination of America's school children; the entirety of the pronoun generated game of sexual “pretending... aka “transgenderism”...as well as the will not go away issue of abortion.

So here let's start with the issue of abortion which does see its discourse, at times, morphing into overt acts of violence. Abortion, the very word drives passions ever forward, thus making the need for an open discussion not only imperative, but said discussion must extend beyond the ideological biblical constraints of the religious vs. the nonreligious views as to when human life does begin and end. Simple answers are being overlooked in the name of enacting a leftist political agenda...an agenda where scientific facts vs. the “it's my body to do as I wish” crowd...a crowd who continues trying to mold to their liking the question as to when abortion should be allowed and when, if ever, it should be deemed “murder.” Read entire article here.
Liberal Boston pols vote down funding elite police unit amid rising crime, leaving commissioner 'dumbfounded'
Stall in funding comes as crime is 'out of control,' Boston police understaffed

Funding for the Boston Police Department's investigative unit is stalled after Democrats voted down the roughly $3.4 million in new funding as crime in the city surges.

Last week, half of the city's council members voted against funding the Boston Regional Intelligence Center (BRIC) – opposing the city's progressive Democrat mayor, Michelle Wu, who flipped her position to supporting the funding.

BRIC serves Boston and surrounding regions to reduce crime and prevent acts of terrorism. The opposing council members cited concerns with BRIC's gang database, which the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) recently claimed unfairly targeted Black and Hispanic youth, prompting an investigation from the state's attorney general.

But Wu said new leadership at the city’s police department and efforts to clear names that were no longer relevant from its gang database caused her to change her view and support funding for Boston Police Department's investigative arm, according to a report in the Boston Herald. Legal experts divided over Biden impeachment case but agree on one point
'There's not enough to impeach, but there's enough to investigate,' says Alan Dershowitz
Brianna Herlihy / Fox News

After the first impeachment inquiry hearing launched by House Republicans against President Biden, some legal experts are split on whether the accusations leveled against the president warrant an impeachment. But they all said the evidence needs to be investigated.

Following the marathon hearing on Thursday that lasted several hours, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., said that GOP lawmakers successfully outlined how the Biden family brought in "over $15 million in their foreign influence peddling, over $24 million if you account for their associate's earnings from the schemes" by leveraging access to then-Vice President Joe Biden.

"We have established in the first phase of this investigation where this money has come from: Ukraine, Romania, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, it didn't come from selling anything legitimate. It largely went unreported to the IRS. It was funneled through shell companies and third parties to hide the Biden's fingerprints," Comer said. Read more and see video here.
