Speaker Johnson: Biden engaging in ‘cover-up’ of role in Hunter business dealings, impeachment probe continues
But he says inquiry must play out, and it’s too soon to conclude an impeachable offense occurred

House Speaker Mike Johnson said President Biden is engaged in an "ongoing cover-up" and has "lied repeatedly" about his involvement in and knowledge of Hunter Biden’s business dealings, while telling Fox News Digital that the impeachment inquiry against him will continue "methodically" and without a "predetermined" outcome.

Johnson, R-La., was elected speaker of the House of Representatives this week. Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., launched the impeachment inquiry against Biden in September.

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital Friday evening, the speaker said the inquiry will continue under his leadership.

"We are the rule of law team, and so we have to respect and regard due process and do this in a way that the founders would have intended," he said. "Impeachment is an awesome power that Congress has, and it is not intended to be, nor should it be, used as a political tool to be wielded lightly."

2024 GOP presidential candidate Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) has launched a rescue operation aimed at bringing Americans home who are fighting for their lives in Israel as Hamas terrorists continue to wage war in their country.

This week, DeSantis announced that he has arranged to send weapons, drones, and ammunition to Israel as the country prepares for a ground invasion into Gaza Hamas’s October 7 planned attack.

Thanks to the governor’s Israel Rescue Operation, nearly 700 Americans have been evacuated from Israel on four flights.

This was DeSantis’s latest effort to help Israel. The governor also reportedly sent cargo planes equipped with healthcare supplies, drones, body armor, and helmets to the country as it suffered the onslaught brought on by terrorists.

DeSantis spokesman Jeremy Redfern, said that Florida is working with private groups to supply weapons and ammunition at the request of Israel’s consul general in Miami. However, he would not disclose the amount or type of ammunition being sent. Read more and see X here.
