Op-ed:
Yesterday...tragedy, today...questions and ramifications
By: Diane Sori

Today our nation mourns for those lost in Aurora, Colorado.

We all know about the ‘Midnight Movie Massacre’ by now so I don’t need to repeat the horrific details, but we do need to understand the ramifications of what will happen as Obama and his cronies will most definitely use this horrible tragedy to further their leftist socialist agenda.

And it starts with the anti-gun loons who are now out in droves repeating their mantra of ‘look what the bad guns did.’  And with that ‘We the People’ do indeed have cause to worry.  Even asking them to use logic in understanding that it’s NOT guns that kill people...it’s people that kill people, they refuse to grasp that simple concept.  I mean when was the last time anyone saw a gun load itself, jump off a table, and kill someone.  I can guarantee that the answer is never.

But yet the anti-gun loons drown on and on as these are the ones that feed into and buy the Obama rhetoric that the UN Small Arms Control Treaty must be signed and that it’s time to revisit and remove the Second Amendment for our own good.

So will say the dictator-in-waiting, and rest assured this is coming as Barack Hussein Obama will use this American tragedy as political fodder for his re-election campaign, you know it, I know it, and he knows we know it and he just doesn’t care.

And even with this we also need to keep clear heads and put aside all the conspiracy theories that have started to circulate.  Its Obama’s fault, Eric Holder is behind it, the elitists orchestrated it...the list is endless and even goes into the absurd of 'it's Bush's fault.'.

But let’s not forget the favorite one...it’s the violent video games, TV shows, and Hollywood movies.  Millions and millions of people see violent movies, watch violent TV shows, and play violent video games and do nothing wrong.  If a make-believe movie, TV show or video game is going to set someone off than they were unhinged to begin with.

One man and one man alone, James Holmes, did this...NO ONE else but James Holmes.

Did James Holmes have a sudden psychotic breakdown, was he schizophrenic, was he stoned out on drugs...none of that matters as the bottom line is that he committed cold-blooded, calculated murder and his death sentence should be quick, as in NO taxpayer dollars used to keep this miserable excuse of a man alive. This was a premeditated massacre of the worst kind as most of his victims were children and young adults, their futures taken away from them.

But we all know that the bleeding heart liberal do-gooders will be out en-masse saying that James Holmes must be given a chance to be redeemed...to which I say there is NO redemption for monsters.  The sooner society is rid of him the better off we’ll all be.

And then we have the political response to the tragedy.

MITT ROMNEY, how presidential and comforting he sounded as he said, “...There will be justice for those responsible, but that’s another matter for another day.  Today is a moment to grieve and to remember, to reach out and to help, to appreciate our blessings in life... We will show our fellow citizens the good heart of the America we know and love...God bless you for being here and sharing together this moment of sorrow. And God bless the United States of America.”

Romney appeared quite Reaganesque and spoke from the heart with same tone of sincerity and caring that Ronald Reagan had when he addressed the nation after the Challenger disaster.  Yesterday, Mitt Romney showed leadership, compassion tempered with strength to help our grieving nation start the slow process towards healing.

And Americans saw it and gently nodded thank you..

Barack Hussein Obama, on the other hand, said the words but there was NO feeling behind them, no compassion, no pain for the grieving families, just words said to a gathered campaign audience...words that were expected, words that were delivered blandly, coldly, and indifferently...just like the man who said them.

But after all is said and done now we’re left with the questions as to what turned a once brilliant  PHD candidate into a monster, why did he do it, how and from whom did he get the money to buy such an arsenal, did he truly act alone.  And NO excuses allowed on this one...did his parents know their son was sick and do NOTHING to get him help. Was their answer to send him off to Colorado letting this monster walk amongst us?

We want an explanation to the unexplainable but we might never get it as I, and many others, hope this monster meets justice swiftly and surely...and I have no regrets saying that.

  2. irregardless of what made james holmes committ this act of aggression he was also a member of the occupy movement. the same group president obama and othe liberals have been glorifying. since he is apprehended any source of assistance james holmes will come out. it almost reminds me of fast and furiius with a twist. this time the murderer is caught and now he will stand trial of his peers.

    1. Being a member of the Occupy movement, if proven true, does NOT necessarily have any bearing on what Holmes did. Just keep that in mind as conspiracy theories abound and with most cases they nine out of ten times prove to be false.

  3. Diane, I can speak to this with some authority. You see, in my country we suffered the rule of whacked out Liberals for 75 of the last 100 years. Only in the last election, did we finally purge ourselves of this disease. Henceforth, Liberals here will be writing policy on the walls of a bat cave in the Laurentian mountains. We have already tossed out the gun registry, and we're making moves to rid ourselves of the kind of socialism is just now going into. You really should talk to us before continuing on this spiral down into communism.

If I was sitting in that theatre that night of the shooting, I would have had one thought in my mind. SURVIVAL. I would have said to myself, "why the F*** didn't I bring my revolver?" The second amendment here could have saved many lives! If I was in that theatre, this madman would have killed only one. The second death would have been him.

If anything, this event is going to strengthen the need to carry arms. If half the people at the theatre were carrying guns, I really doubt this idiot would have even contemplated this even. So, really, it can't be a false flag because it favors carrying guns over not carrying guns.

If, however, twisted liberal thinking leaves people with the illusion that gun control is better, then let me tell you about this failed experiment in Canada. Criminals here felt very safe "on the job" when we had no guns. It meant that they were the only ones with guns. It meant that pretty much anywhere you go, you're going to the be only one armed. Imagine the feeling of safety these morons had? I worked with this "element" for 26 years. I know them. They understand only one thing. The law of the jungle. You have to be tougher than them to control them. I always used to tell them, "If you pull a gun on my, you had better have very, very fast reflexes. If you do, you might get five bucks out of me. If you don't, you'll spend a couple of painful days in hospital, and the proctologist will be your best friend."

America must do whatever you have to stop Soetoro from advancing his agenda. There is nothing more important to you at this time. Forget TV. Forget our hobbies. You have one task to do between now and November, and that is to show as many people you can just how subversive, manipulative and socialistic this foreign interloper is. You guys are in deep shit than you know.
