ReplyDeleteWe have two types of Islamic enemy.
ReplyDeleteFirst, we have as enemies those muslims who are mean enough and hatefilled enough to wage war, murder, assassinations and terror against non believers that plain basic islam tells them to do, and these include ISIS, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and the Muslim Brotherhood. We call them radicals, but there is nothing radical about the Islam they follow - it is plain basic islam. "Radical " Islam would be an Islam that teaches love and peace for all, muslims and non believers alike. No such thing exists to any appreciable extent. Islam calls a muslim who who rejects Muhammad's teaching of unending jihad until Islam dominates all an apostate , and he is to be killed. These killers can be destroyed on the battlefield.
Second, we have as an ememy the political ideology mixed with relgion known as Islam. Plain basic Islam is perhaps a more deadly enemy of our constitution and freedoms, because so many people have been fooled into thinking it is a religion of peace. Actually, as anyone who studies it by reading such works as those of Bill Warner, Robert Spencer or F W Burleigh will quickly see, plain basic islam as taught and lived by Muhammad is a deadly enemy of free people worldwide. It seeks , by lie, deception, threat, and any other means to make sharia law the supreme law which would override our constitution and destroy our freedoms. It is against freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and equality of all before the law. It will not live up to any agreement or compromise and sees these only a weakness on the part of the non believer. This Islam ideology should be defeated by teaching and learning the truth of what basic Islam teaches, which teachings will horrify all decent people.
Islam should be denied the status and protection accorded to religions under our constitution and laws because it is a political ideology mixed with religion that seeks to destroy our constitution and civilization.
