Charges Dropped and A Hoaxster Walks...Maybe

And all I can say is liar, liar, pants on fire...anyway...

Normally I do not write about so-called celebrities...narcissistic sorts who for the most part gather around the uber-left side of the political aisle. Their left leaning bloviations mean absolutely nothing to me, and anyway those most vocal cannot really act, sing, or whatever it is that they do yet they are venerated and hailed as heroes by way too many folks. But in the case of 'Empire' actor Jussie Smollett I feel I must say something...either that or throw this computer at the TV.

Jussie Smollett has now become the media distraction of the day...the week...and probably will be even way longer than that. And while he is being used by the 24/7 news cycle to help take our focus away from witnessing the Democrats in total meltdown mode over their failed coup attempt to remove our duly elected president from office, there is an underlying reason why we should not just idly sit by and ignore this story, for Jussie Smollett...and so many others like him...represent all that is wrong with American jurisprudence today. 
 
And that wrong is all tied up in a neat little package called “black privilege.” And it seems that an ever-increasing segment of black Americans today think they are above the rule of law, thinking it as a form of reparations owed them for their ancestors being slaves in centuries past.

Yes...you heard me right...“black privilege”...where the darker color of one's skin allows a criminal to walk free. “White privilege” does not exist contrary to what liberals and other assorted 'gimme-gimme...you owe me' sorts say, for in today's legal world having white skin seems more times than not to translate into you're automatically being guilty of whatever crime against a black you're being charged with. And in turn that means if one is of a darker skin color they receive a “get out of jail” free card, especially when one has a former first lady...I relish in now saying “former”...pulling strings for you behind the scenes.

Such is the case with Jussie Smollett, a grade B actor at best...a truly no talent sort striving for his 15 minutes of fame via a concocted story of racism, homophobia, and physical assault all rolled up into a politically based hate-crime hoax...Trump Derangement Syndrome acted out to the nth degree...or so bad actor Smollett wanted the gullible amongst us to believe.

By now we all know the story of how back on January 29th, one Jussie Smollett, a gay black actor, told Chicago police that he was physically attacked at 2am by two men in the Streeterville section of downtown Chicago while he was walking home after leaving a Subway restaurant. Claiming his assailants not only spewed vile racial and homophobic slurs, wrapped a rope around his neck, and poured what he said was an “unknown substance” (it was actually bleach) on him, Smollett also claimed that they were wearing Trump red caps, ski masks, and yelling that he was in MAGA country. And that alone...never mind the video of the two men (two brothers) purchasing these items the day before the supposed attack occurred...should have been the first tip-off that Smollett's story was nothing but fabricated nonsense for if anyone thinks Chicago is MAGA country they are as stupid as Smollett is.

However, within a few short weeks Smollett rightfully went from victim to suspect after the police interviewed over 100 witnesses and tracked down the supposed assailants after going through numerous area surveillance cameras.

Identified as Nigerian brothers Abimbola 'Abel' and Olabinjo 'Ola' Osundairo (one of whom had worked on the 'Empire' show), they willingly told police that they agreed to help Smollett carry out his “hoax” because of both their friendship with him and that he was helping their careers. Also telling how the three of them rehearsed the incident in the days leading up to the actual staging, the brothers spoke of being paid $3,500 by the actor to “beat him up” to make it look like a hate crime...with the promise of $500 more after they laid low in Nigeria for two weeks. And their proof was that Smollett actually paid them by check...a traceable check.

A Hollywood farce of the stupid and the absurd could not have been better written.

So with the two brothers now facing no charges, Jussie Smollett instead saw himself facing 16 felony charges ranging from mail fraud (Smollett had mailed himself a hate letter postmarked four days before the incident), to class 4 disorderly conduct, to filing a false police claim. And so the grade B actor who thought both sympathy and publicity would garner him a huge pay raise (Smollett believed he was not being paid enough) instead now saw himself being fired from the very TV show he costarred in.

I guess even Hollywood can only take so much bad press.

And it truly was an open and shut case, that is until the prosecutor, in an unannounced court hearing, suddenly decided not just to drop all 16 charges against Smollett but to also “wipe” his record clean even though no statement of innocence was issued nor any exoneration given. This led Chicago's Mayor Rahm Emanuel to hold his first press conference concerning the event where he stated in no uncertain terms that Jussie Smollett had callously used his city's hate crime laws for his own "self-promotion." Adding that this is "a whitewash of justice," Emanuel was particularly furious at the state attorney's office for not informing him ahead of time that they would be dropping all charges.

And Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson, whose department learned about the dropped charges only when the news was made public, is beyond angry because he knew the Jussie Smollett case was an open and shut case...a stunt that cost the city $130,000 in investigative fees...a stunt that just a few weeks earlier had him demanding that Smollett apologize and pay the city back for the time the Chicago PD spent investigating what all along was a hoax.

Forfeiting his $10,000 bond...which like I stated above doesn't even touch the amount of money the city spent on their investigation...Smollett's big punishment is to serve just two days of community service. A miscarriage of justice if there ever was one...a miscarriage of justice partially but most likely unknowingly, summed up in Rahm Emanuel's own words... “a whitewash of justice.” And why do I say “partially summed up”...because what the Jussie Smollett case is, is a “blackwash of justice”..."black privilege" personified...especially since Rahm Emanuel has now totally changed his tune, possibly being ordered to do so by whom I believe is the biggest racist of them all...Barack HUSSEIN Obama himself.

Now referring to Chicago as a "Trump-free zone," Rahm Emanuel true to his liberal left leanings suddenly did a complete 180 and blamed the president for creating a "toxic" and "hate-filled" environment that allowed Smollett to think he could get away with faking a hate crime. “My recommendation is the president go to Opening Day baseball, sit on the sidelines and stay out of this," Emanuel said, adding that, “This is a president who drew a moral equivalency between people who are trying to perpetuate bigotry and those who are trying to fight bigotry, " thus proving that racism is alive and well in today's America but it's not white hatred of blacks...what with most of today's white population having distanced themselves from the racial hatred Obama instigated and the race war he tried to start...but it's black hatred coupled with their general resentment of white people that does not seem to be on the downturn, at least not on the surface.

And really, why would it be when groups like Black Lives Matter, the New Black Panthers, and even the Congressional Black Caucus, keep stirring the pot to help keep racism alive. And by still portraying himself as the victim...no matter that state charges were dropped... Smollett remains able to rally the discontented and the bleeding hearts behind him while on the road, on twitter, and on any media venue that will give him air or print time...as he claims to still be a victim of “white man's justice” that is.

But Jussie Smollett is a fool if he thinks he's home scot-free. Forgetting that while Chicago might have cowered and acquiesced out of fear of riots breaking out if he, a black man, was convicted as charged, Chicago has no say if the feds choose to get involved...which they will. In fact, President Trump tweeted that both the F.B.I. and the D.O.J. will be looking into not only the actual case itself but into the hows and whys the state charges were dropped, including who might or might not have been involved...hear that Michelle. 

Also, the Fraternal Order of Police have called for a federal investigation into Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx's handling of the Smollett case...a case she claims she had no part in the dismissal of but never actually recused herself from. And why...because the incident happening in January and by late March it's over without even a trial...over without even what's known as “deferred prosecution”...a case now seeing all charges being dropped...dropped and yet no one knows why or who actually ordered that decision. And to happen in such a fast-tracked manner...when cases of this sort usually take over a year to settle...know that the order to do so most certainly had to come from “higher up.” 

 

Again, Barack HUSSEIN Obama anyone.

And Kim Foxx, who just this past Friday saw the Illinois Prosecutors Bar Association calling her handling of the Smollett case "dishonest and unethical," still is publicly defending said final decision by saying her office often handles other cases involving those with “nonviolent backgrounds” in a “similar manner”...something many Chicago attorneys claim is simply not true...which leads one to believe that something stinks in the Windy City and it ain't just on the Cook County level.

So as the fallout from the dropped charges decision itself starts to settle, Cook County best be prepared for their criminal defense attorneys to start lining up at their white clients requests to receive the same treatment in the same timely manner that Jussie Smollett received. And if they don't get such treatment based upon their white skin color, Chicago could see itself embroiled in escalating cries of racism on a scale not seen before...proving that right now justice in America is not color blind as it should be, but now is indeed dark and dank.

Bottom line...Jussie Smollett paid for a hate crime to be committed upon his person...a hoax that cost the city of Chicago $130,000 to investigate...to investigate a case I believe was racially predetermined to having the charges dropped right from the get-go. And why do I believe this... because the key players are all black, the key players are all liberal Democrats, the supposed victim himself is a personal friend of the Obama's, and both separately and together they all show great disdain for President Trump and wish he could somehow be removed from office. And what better way to aid in doing just that than claim that Trump's MAGA slogan not only is racist in and of itself, but that it's being used to justify physical attacks on blacks.

And so we have yet another Democrat orchestrated ploy to further divide us along racial lines, after all the Democrats need something...they need anything...to try and stop the 2020 Trump juggernaut. And by re-stirring the ever simmering pot of racism...by continuing to portray blacks as victims of self-perceived white injustice...coupled with the fact that most, but not all, blacks are Democrats...might be the only option the Democrats have left for getting out the black vote.

“Outrageous and an embarrassment to our nation,” President Trump rightfully stated after hearing that all charges against Jussie Smollet had been dropped. But what I say is even more outrageous is what remains under all this mess...as in 13 percent of our overall population thinks that they can still hold the rest of us hostage simply because of the dark color of their skin... the old "white guilt" ploy used over and over again. And while I hope the feds throw the book at Jussie Smollett, I'm not holding my breath that they will for the “race card” has been successfully played yet again and most are too blind to see it.

TRUMP: NO MORE PLAYING 'NICE' AT THE BORDER - President Trump has threatened to shut down the southern border this week to combat the illegal immigration crisis and in a tweet sent Sunday night, he suggested he was done playing Mr. Nice Guy ... "The Democrats are allowing a ridiculous asylum system and major loopholes to remain as a mainstay of our immigration system," Trump tweeted. "Mexico is likewise doing NOTHING, a very bad combination for our Country. Homeland Security is being sooo very nice, but not for long!"

Meanwhile, Trump has also vowed to cut direct aid to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras as their citizens flee north toward the U.S. in caravans. Mexican officials said Sunday they will give out humanitarian visas on a "limited basis" to some of the roughly 2,500 Central American and Caribbean migrants gathered in the southern state of Chiapas.
