NRA mocks Biden’s new ‘gun violence prevention’ office with advice on its name

The NRA slammed President Biden’s launch of the first-ever federal office to address "gun violence prevention," while criticizing the office’s director, who has repeatedly vowed on social media to help "defeat" the Second Amendment group.  

"The Biden administration's new White House Office of so-called 'Gun Violence Prevention' might as well be renamed the 'Federal Office to Disarm Law-Abiding Americans and Defeat the NRA.' One doesn't have to look far into Stefanie Feldman's social media to see biases and agenda: a barrage of over 20 posts aggressively targeting the NRA, combined with promises of ‘big, bold’ executive action on gun control, paints a clear picture," NRA spokesman Billy McLaughlin told Fox News Digital. 

Biden announced the creation of the first-ever White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention last week, with Vice President Kamala Harris leading the office and Stefanie Feldman serving as the office’s director. Feldman is a longtime Biden aide. Read more and see video here.

Democrats Kick Americans to the Curb In Order to Make Room for Illegal Migrants

President Joe Biden has spent most of his time in office catering to foreign countries and illegal migrants while leaving Americans in the dust to protect themselves from his radical policies. 

His open border policies have wreaked havoc on the nation, allowing deadly Mexican cartels to bring in crime and drugs such as fentanyl, resulting in Americans having to fear for their lives just by walking out their front door. 

States are becoming overwhelmed as thousands of illegal migrants cross the border daily, depleting resources that are running cities dry of money and shelters. 

New York is one area that is getting hit hard by illegal aliens. New York City Councilman David Carr confirmed that a new migrant housing facility will open at the former Island Shores location, leaving elderly residents scrambling for a new place to live. 

95-year-old veteran Frank Tammaro was given less than a two-month notice to figure out where he would live after the nursing home he resided in was sold to become a facility for illegal migrants.

Here's How the Late-Night Spending Bill Session Ended in the House

We knew it would end like this when Congress recessed for Yom Kippur. The government has been out of session perilously close to the deadline for running out of money. They have until September 30 to pass a funding measure to keep the lights on, but Congress is shut down when the clock strikes midnight on October 1. Speaker Kevin McCarthy wanted to pass a series of other appropriations bills to curry goodwill before moving onto a vote to keep the government ope

The vote for the spending bills that didn’t involve shutting down Congress was voted on late last night. Defense and Ukraine aid passed, but agriculture didn’t make the cut. Regardless of falling short here, McCarthy still must move on the funding measure to avert a government shutdown today, but it’s likely things will grind to a halt this weekend up on the Hill. Likely GOP primary voters share who had best Republican debate performance: Poll

Likely Republican voters think Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had the best performance in the second Republican debate, according to a new poll.

The poll was conducted by 538/Washington Post/Ispos and asked 2,262 likely voters in the Republican primary to grade each candidate's performance during the debate, which was hosted on Wednesday night by FOX Business in Simi Valley, California.

Prior to the debate, pollsters asked likely GOP primary voters how they thought each candidate would perform. Overall, voters thought Vivek Ramaswamy would finish ahead of the rest, closely followed by DeSantis, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley and Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C.

When polled following the debate, 33% of respondents thought DeSantis performed the best during the debate, followed by Haley at 18% and Ramaswamy at 15%.

Here's What DeSantis Says He'll 'Throw in the Trash Can' on Day One

Speaking from the GOP presidential debate stage at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California Wednesday night, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis vowed to rid the country of President Joe Biden's burdensome regulations on the economy if he wins the White House. 

"Everything has gotten more expensive, you see insurance rates are going through the roof, people that are going to get groceries...I spoke to a woman in Iowa and she said, 'You know for the first time in my life I'm having to take things out of my grocery cart when I get to the checkout line because the total goes up so quickly.' So this is very real and people are hurting out there so we've got to address the underlying problem of Bidenomics," DeSantis said. 

After the comment, the DeSantis campaign sent out a review of his broader economic plan.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says that polls don't elect presidents, but voters elect presidents.

Reactions from conservatives on social media are pouring in following the conclusion of the second GOP presidential debate on Fox Business on Wednesday night. 

"I think the winners were Ron DeSantis and Doug Burgam," Fox News Host Will Cain posted on X. "This was what we expected in the first debate from DeSantis. It wasn’t a goodnight, in my estimation, for Nikki Haley and Tim Scott. When you constantly interrupt it usually diminishes yourself. I think that happened to Haley and Scott."

Conservative commentator Dana Loesch also posted on X that DeSantis "won this debate."

"He shot down bad faith arguments without seeming unpleasant and hit back with a record of achievements while rejecting clown show overtures. Everyone else on that stage is auditioning for VP, cable news, or a publisher."

The most pressing problem in America right now is the one no one wants to talk about. As Republican candidates (minus former President Donald Trump) line up to debate Wednesday night, they may be asked about the ballooning national debt and the resulting drag on the economy. They may offer a few solutions that nibble at the edges. But the real truth is ugly, painful, and unpopular.  

Candidates understand that the American people want the debt burden reduced. But we don’t want to hear the truth of what it would take to actually do it. How will the candidates on the debate stage Wednesday night straddle that line in a world where they’re being asked both to solve the problem and to garner votes and do it in less than 90 seconds? It will be the most difficult needle to thread.

Here's the Line That Matt Gaetz Used to Savage Democrats on Federal Spending

As we approach the deadline for Congress to pass a new spending measure to keep the government open, it’s that time again: both parties tossing out the pre-packaged talking points assigning blame for closing the government. The Senate drafted a continuing resolution to keep the government open through most of the fall. The House made progress on some appropriations bills, though none aimed at specifically keeping the government open. That measure will be taken up on Friday. 

Some of the more conservative members of the House Republican Caucus are using this looming crisis to discuss the out-of-control debt and government spending that’s run amok under Biden. It also wasn’t too good under Trump, Obama, or Bush. Both parties have been outright failures in trying to balance the books.  As the Koch brothers used to say when they were political, Democrats want to go off a fiscal cliff at 90 mph, while the GOP prefers doing it at 65 mph. Why so...because these numbers also show that for over 60+% of Americans it's “revenge politics”...not substance or what each man brings to the policy table...that appears to be the only reason for their vote whether it be for or against Donald J. Trump.

Cynicism indeed, whether it be righteous or not, now sees Donald Trump's poll numbers grow with each indictment the Democrats levy against him. So knowing this outcome the questions become why then are the Democrats continuing this endeavor...why are the Democrats indicting a man they know could somehow end up back in the White House, and even if conviced could once in office pardon himself and the others charged along with him...why? High interest rates could be the new reality for Americans

The Federal Reserve signaled during its two-day meeting last week that interest rates will remain elevated for some time, bringing to an end the era of ultra-cheap money.

Americans will be forced to adapt to a new normal where savers benefit from higher rates, but borrowers face steeper debt payments on everything from credit cards to mortgages to student loans.

“Whether the Fed does or doesn’t raise rates further in the coming months, the high rates are here to stay for awhile,” said Greg McBride, chief financial analyst at Bankrate.

Policymakers voted during their policy-setting meeting to leave interest rates unchanged at a range of 5.25% to 5.5%, the highest level since 2001. But officials also opened the door to another quarter-point increase before the end of the year – and indicated they will hold rates at those elevated levels for an extended period...Read more and see video here.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom's recent defense of Hunter Biden against allegations of nepotism and shady business deals follows emails from Biden’s infamous laptop showing the president’s son donated thousands of dollars to Newsom’s gubernatorial campaign and lent his name to multiple fundraisers on his behalf.

Newsom, who is expected to attend Wednesday's GOP debate on behalf of the Biden campaign, brushed off allegations of Hunter Biden's corrupt business dealings last week, saying it is "hardly unique" for people to use their family members to get ahead.

"I don't know enough about the details of that. I mean I've seen a little of that," Newsom told CNN's Dana Bash when asked if Hunter Biden did anything "inappropriate" leveraging his father's name in his business dealings. Read more, see video and emails here.

Playing A Game Of Cleverly Crafted Numbers

As the 2024 election season starts heating up the 'Only Trump' folks continue to worship at the altar of Donald J. Trump. They still hang onto his every word spoken and his every action taken all while thinking that Trump already has the Republican nomination locked up. And while Trump could still get said nomination, the fact remains that Trump will not beat either Biden nor any Democrat that might replace him especially if Obama himself is forced to pull his aged puppet out of the race. Better to replace him now with one more conducive to doing what he or she is told to do then let Joe Biden start making his own decisions.

But why in my opinion will Trump lose? The most obvious answer, of course, is that the Democrats have had almost four-years time to fine tune and polish, if you will, their mastery at perpetrating what I call election “irregularities”...aka “fraud” in layman's terms. If you think 2020 was the epitome of an election stolen, 2024's shenanigans will see 2020's pale in comparison. And with the race now appearing to be deadlocked between the two men, current polls show that of the 62% of Republicans currently backing Trump they're doing so only as a show of support for him in his battle against the Democrat initiated witch hunt; while 64% of Democrats currently supporting Biden are doing so solely as a vote against Trump...numbers way too close not to see election “irregularities” again coming into play.

The answer is simply, because they can.

And with the Democrats most always being media aided in their quest...after all Trump news...whether it be good news or bad news...helps assure said media of a ratings bonanza which equates to increased revenue for their all important bottom line profits. So as we expected, we now see these folks continuing to relish in painting Donald J. Trump as democracy's enemy, thus creating a partisan loyalty ploy being laid bare for all to see.

So with the media and Democrat hierarchy keeping the focus on Trump via their ever growing witch hunt scenario instead of on sickly, gaffe ridden, economy destroying Joe Biden and his “crime family syndicate,” they're able to gather “real time” numbers to see just how loyal Republicans are to the man who carries way too much political baggage. And with the media still controlling the election discourse, coupled with their tallying up said numbers as many Republicans rally around Trump...for now anyway...they can see exactly the numbers needed to not only get Biden reelected but do so by playing to the all-important independent voters. And why these particular voters...because independent voters are still, for the most part, sitting on the fence in a quandary over whom to vote for...a former president who could become a convicted felon or the man controlled by Obama who himself is (in my opinion) controlled by the infamous George Soros. And as I write this, Trump's much needed to win independent vote numbers are simply not yet there, and the Democrats know this.

Basically, without the Democrats being able to know the approximate numbers needed for a Biden victory, how can they be certain of a Trump loss? Simply, they cannot be, but now with polls showing Trump's support numbers growing with each new indictment levied against him, the fabricated witch hunt takes on a whole new meaning as it does draw out the numbers the Democrats need to see so they can plan their “irregularities” accordingly. And this drawing out of numbers might have been the Democrats strategy all along. Continue to indict Trump, cleverly craft his trial dates to occur when it's more advantageous to the Democrats, and the independent and a number of Republican voters might not be there for Trump to secure the nomination. Why so...because the trials would already be underway and key evidence would have been presented some of which would not be in Trump's favor.

So by their keeping Joe Biden on the ticket the Democrat hierarchy counts on Democrat voters to rally behind Biden...commonly referred to as O'Biden...for they know that in the end Democrat voters...most of whom are still loyal to Obama...do tend to put partisan politics above all else and way more times than not will vote a straight party line ticket. Obama's fourth term in office counts on this happening, and he and the party elite will do any and everything to see that Trump is so mired down in indictments that the much needed independents coupled with mainline Republican voters will continue to turn away from him.

Now here is where some variations and questions regarding this scenario comes into play. First, what if Obama and crew do decide that it's time to pull Biden out of the race, who do they substitute in his place as their choice of options no matter whom they pick has their own issues to deal with? And second, how would Democrat voters and the media treat said person at this late date?

However, before I answer those questions it's important to understand that no matter what the polls currently say...remember polls are usually decidedly partisan in nature with numbers easily skewed to favor certain candidates...most Americans...except for the “Only Trump” folks...do not want a Trump v. Biden rematch as most view both men as too old, and that it's now time for the next generation of leaders to take over.

But why is the “age issue” now becoming a forefront matter? Our government as it stands now is mostly comprised of the Baby Boomer or pre-Boomer generation with a scattering of Millennials and Gen-Xers thrown in for good measure. And while those on the older side might or might not have served us well in the past, they now need to understand that all things, in due time, must come to an end. Those like Nancy Pelosi, Diane Feinstein, and Mitch McConnell, to name but a few, should have retired long ago if not for health reasons alone there's the fact that judgment, cognitive skills, and stamina does tend to falter when one reaches a certain age. And while the old adage that “with age comes wisdom” might be true for most folks, it seems that for some in today's government wisdom, common sense, logic, and clear thinking...things critical to America's well-being...seems to evade them for as their health physically and mentally declines these folks seem to strive to hold onto power even more so than they did in their younger days.

Joe Biden falls into this category for while age might just be a number for the lucky few, in Biden's case age has not treated him well. We see that daily in Biden's slurred and sometimes incomprehensible speech, his actions, his declining agility, his mannerisms, and his overall failing mental acuity and forgetfulness. And when you add in policies that are proving to be truly anti-American, this man has no business running for anything let alone President of these United States. Even Obama knows he can no longer fully control Biden for the puppet strings he's tethered to are now knotted mid-stream. America sees this, the Democrats see this, and yet we still...for now anyway... see Biden in the race.

And while Donald Trump...who's just three years younger than Joe Biden...thankfully does not show Biden's physical decline, the pressure he's under with all these indictments and accusations...a political witch hunt like none ever perpetrated on either a sitting or former president before...has taken a toll on him as well. How so...because the man who championed the concept of MAGA no longer is the man he was in 2016, for he has now become a man not driven by what's best for America but by what's best for him alone. 

Coming in the guise of “revenge politics”...probably the worst reason to run for office as revenge more times than not never works out as one has planned...means that if Trump were to lose to Biden a second time, whether it be via “voter irregularities” or not, it would not only negate all the good he did while president, but it would sadly be the direct lead in to Obama's “fundamental transformation of America” reaching its final fruition. And that is a legacy that history rightfully would not treat well, but what is even sadder is that Donald J. Trump knows this and still continues to run for an office that the Democrat hierarchy will never again allow him to achieve.

Now back to the question what would happen if the Democrats...if Obama...replaced Biden with someone else. They know that Biden's replacement cannot be the abject failure that is Kamala Harris, so who of name is left...who has enough national visibility to be able to turn the tide in their favor as time is running out for whomever to garner momentum if Trump were to stay in the race. For me two serious names come to mind, California Governor Gavin Newsom and House Minority Speaker Hakeem Jeffries from New York. And why these two men...because both men represent states with the largest Electoral College vote. Remember, it's not the popular vote that elects the president, it's the Electoral College vote that does. But with both their states now in a state of economic chaos and ruin...thanks mostly to their being “sanctuary states”... could either man pull ahead in the polls and defeat a still candidate Trump? Or it too late for anyone to enter the race this late in the game?

I believe it is not because of the time factor per se, but because the aforementioned “voting irregularities” have already been primed and ready to go for a Trump v. Joe Biden rematch. And it's courtesy of the Democrats having drawn out and seeing the numbers they need for a Biden win, all thanks to the indictments showcasing Donald Trump's numbers...and did it by simply exposing the man.

But what if Trump lost the nomination and let's say, my choice, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis were to become the nominee, could he beat Biden let alone Newsom or Jeffries as “voting irregularities” would still be in play albeit, perhaps, to a somewhat lesser degree? I believe Ron DeSantis could pull out a win as not only are independent voters now starting to favor him as are a growing number of moderate Democrats...Democrats who like his proposed border policy regarding the ongoing illegal invasion as well as his parents rights stance regarding their child's education...but because as a current nominee DeSantis already has the “name” recognition, the national candidate visibility, and his being of the next generation of leaders which satisfies many who think being over 75 is too old to be president. Simply, I believe DeSantis alone, especially with the right VP running mate, could counter any Democrat candidate's garnering the number of states needed to secure the all-important Electoral College vote.

And so I leave you with this thought, Socialist/Democrat Bernie Sanders recently stated that Donald Trump running for president is “probably a good thing” for all the people who want “to see that no Republican is elected to the White House.” Please think about that before casting your primary vote...case closed.
