The Case For Treason

...And as Constitutionally written the charge of “treason,” is not a charge easily rendered as it only can be levied against American citizens...citizens who have betrayed the allegiance they are “presumed to owe” to these United States. And the men who authored the Constitution were wise enough to know that not only did citizens owe a “duty of loyalty” to this country, but that a “Treason Clause” would help guard against what they believed could be a “historic use”...as per their beliefs of its use in the past...by “repressive” governments to silence possible “legitimate” political opposition.

And here is where the word “legitimate” coupled with “adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort,” comes into play for we are now bearing witness to some in our country not just “adhering” or “giving aide and comfort” to a tangible enemy, but to an enemy of western civilization and freedom itself. And to make matters worse said acts of “treason” are being initiated by a number of America/Israel hating members residing in our Halls of Congress. Read entire article and see videos here.

The wave of antisemitism has been disturbing to watch in the wake of the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip, prompted by the vicious October 7 terror attacks by Hamas that left 1,400 Israelis dead. It’s now a fight for survival—Israel cannot tolerate a terror group on her border ever again. There can be no negotiations with a party that seeks to annihilate the Jewish state. Hamas, trapped in Gaza, will be eliminated, and no moderate Israeli government is going to cave to demands from the United Nations for a ceasefire. Benjamin Netanyahu runs this government; he doesn’t kowtow to people who don’t get it. The UN is also awash with pro-Hamas elements. 

The memory holing of the October 7 attack on the Left is a mixture of hatred of Jews, willful ignorance, or outright insanity. Some folks think the attacks never happened. As tens of thousands of pro-terrorist supporters have taken to the streets, especially in Europe, one blog post in Times of Israel should resonate with supporters of the Jewish state. The gist of the post reacting to the explosion of antisemitism and lefty activists appalled by the ground invasion can be summed up in three words: I don’t care.

DeSantis Lands Big Endorsement Ahead of 2024 Caucuses

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis picked up a key endorsement on Monday from Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds—a much-needed boost that could help him in the Iowa caucuses.  

“I just felt like I couldn’t sit on the sidelines any longer,” Reynolds said during an NBC News interview. “We have too much at stake. I truly believe that he is the right person to get this country back on track.”

Later, the two appeared at a campaign rally in Des Moines, where she praised DeSantis as someone who would put the country ahead of himself.

“Not only do we need to make sure we can elect someone who can win and beat Joe Biden, we need a president who has the skill and the resolve to reverse the madness that we see every single day,” Reynolds said. “We need someone who will fight for you and win for you. We need someone who won’t get distracted but will stay disciplined who puts this country first and not himself.
