Today is March 29th, the day set aside back in 1973 to be 'National Vietnam War Veterans Day.' Why that day... because on March 29, 1973, Military Assistance Command, Vietnam (MACV) was disbanded and the last U.S. combat troops departed Vietnam. This day has become a day to honor those who served and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in one of our nation’s most gruesome wars. And on March 28, 2017...done a day early...President Trump signed the 'Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017,' the act 'officially' recognizing March 29th as 'National Vietnam War Veterans Day.' DNC Holds 'Emergency Call' As Dems Panic Over RFK Jr.'s VP Pick

The Democrat Party seemed uneasy after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced his choice of Nicole Shanahan as his vice president pick. 

According to recent reports, the Democrat National Convention has ramped up attacks on Kennedy, claiming the pair will boost former President Donald Trump’s chances of securing the 2024 election. 

Pro-President Joe Biden supporters are attacking Kennedy for appointing Shanahan as his VP—a California-based attorney and progressive activist. 

“I am personally offended and just disgusted by his campaign,” Rep. Robert Garcia (D-CA) said during a call from the DNC. “He should be ashamed of himself. He should stop running for president.”

Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. Austin Davis (D) called Kennedy a “spoiler,” and accused the Independent presidential candidate of being “drafted” into the race by top supporters of Trump’s. 

“He has no realistic path to victory in Pennsylvania,” Davis said.

Hoo Boy: Biden Campaign Steps on Rake in Midst of Trump Attendance at Service for Slain NYPD Officer

There's "out of touch" and then there is Joe Biden-style out of touch, the latter of which is pretty epic when one considers the optics surrounding what's been happening Thursday in New York City.

The wake for slain NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller was held on Long Island earlier, with former president and presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump in attendance. 

After the service, Trump gave brief remarks to the press, where he talked about the senselessness of Diller's murder, about meeting his wife and infant son, and the need to restore law and order.

The 31-year-old Diller, as RedState previously reported, was killed during a Queens traffic stop Monday, allegedly by career criminal Guy Rivera, 34. Rivera reportedly had 21 prior arrests (with nine of them being felonies) and allegedly also attempted to murder Diller's partner, Sgt. Sasha Rosen, amid a struggle over the gun. Rosen ultimately returned fire against Rivera, sending him to the hospital. Read more, see Xs and video here.

Ironic: Fani Willis Says Jim Jordan's Investigation of Her Office Is 'Politically Motivated'

Threatened with contempt of Congress proceedings, Fani Willis responded to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH)'s subpoena by calling the GOP-led House Judiciary Committee's investigation into the Fulton County district attorney's office a "politically motivated" probe.

 

"We will not shut down this office's efforts to prosecute crime—including [...] public corruption—to meet unreasonable deadlines in your politically motivated 'investigation' of this office," Willis wrote Monday in a letter to Jordan, the committee's chairman.

Earlier this month, Jordan warned Willis he'd invoke contempt of Congress proceedings against her if she continued to be uncooperative with the congressional committee's investigation. Willis repeatedly failed to hand over documents Jordan had subpoenaed related to her office's receipt and use of federal funds allocated by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).

"Georgians deserve to know where their federal tax dollars are going," Jordan said, adding: "Contempt is on the table." Read more and see video here.

DeSantis eliminates 'squatters' rights' in Florida, gives power to cops to remove offenders

 Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Wednesday signed legislation into law that eliminates squatters’ rights in the Sunshine State and increases penalties against offenders. 

"You are not going to be able to commandeer somebody's private property and expect to get away with it. We are in the state of Florida ending the squatter scam once and for all," DeSantis said during a press conference on the signing in Orlando. 

The law will take effect July 1. DeSantis noted ahead of the signing that he believes Florida is the first state in the nation to take squatting issues head-on. 

Lawmakers in the state overwhelmingly voted in support of the bill earlier this month, sending it to DeSantis’ office. The law outlines that squatters will face criminal charges for illegally moving into a home and allows property owners to file an affidavit showing they legally own a property.

Before the bill’s passage, squatters in Florida, as well in states from coast to coast, were considered tenants and required legal property owners to launch lengthy court battles to legally remove inhabitants from a home.

Federal Appeals Court Keeps New Texas Immigration Law on Hold

A federal appeals court extended its hold on a new Texas law, Senate Bill 4, that makes illegal immigration a state crime.

In a 2-1 vote, the 5^th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the law cannot go into effect while litigation continues. 

"For nearly 150 years, the Supreme Court has held that the power to control immigration — the entry, admission, and removal of noncitizens—is exclusively a federal power," wrote Judge Priscilla Richman.

Despite Texas’s criticisms about the federal government’s “actions and inactions” on the border, it is the president’s job to determine “whether, and if so, how to pursue noncitizens illegally present in the United States,” Richman added, reports NBC. 

Lawyers for the state could seek emergency action by the Supreme Court. Or they could let the decision stand and wait for arguments, set for April 3, over the substance of the law and whether the injunction was appropriately ordered.

Gov. DeSantis offers help to Maryland after bridge collapse

'The State of Florida stands willing to help.'

Gov. Ron DeSantis is extending state resources, should they be needed, to Maryland in the wake of the shocking collapse of a bridge in Baltimore.

“I have directed (the Florida State Emergency Response Team) to offer assistance to the State of Maryland, if needed, following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. The State of Florida stands willing to help and our prayers are with the victims and first responders,” he said on social media.

Reports indicate that a cargo ship lost power for a period of time before it collided with a support pier for the bridge on Interstate 695, causing the bridge to collapse into water. Cars collapsed into the water, said to be below 50 degrees, with air temperatures below that.

...But the bottom line is that Sen. Chuck Schumer is playing political games with the lives of Israelis in order to score political points with Palestinian supporters, anti-Israel and anti-Semitic sorts here at home which really is as vile and as low as one can go. But this is exactly what you would you expect from Chuck Schumer, a man who will not only do but say anything to help his old buddy Obama garner what would be his fourth term in office.

And so as I write this Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is still facing not only a rightful continuation of this war...a war for Israel's very survival...but his having to make a true Solomon-like decision as well. And with the families of those still being held hostage... that is if they are not already dead...the situation itself has become somewhat of a numbers game. How so...because the question that must be answered is are the lives of a hundred or so hostages...again being if any are still alive...worth the risk of this war expanding into a regional conflict and possibly beyond. Do the lives of the few justify the likely deaths of so many or must the few be sacrificed so that millions of others might live? Legal experts say Trump’s whopping New York fee could be ‘excessive’ under Constitution: ‘unheard of’

After scoring a major win Monday in the New York civil fraud case against him, legal experts weigh whether former president Donald Trump can appeal the $454 million judgment as a violation of his constitutional rights.

The 45th president and presumptive GOP nominee in the 2024 election had until Monday to pay a $454 million bond or face seizure of his assets by Attorney General Letitia James, in accordance with an order by Judge Arthur Engoron.

But just hours before the deadline, the New York Appeals court slashed the bond by 60%, ordering Trump to pay $175 million while the case is appealed. 

Legal experts told Fox News Digital that one legal avenue Trump and his lawyers could and should pursue is trying to prove that the whopping half-billion figure violates a U.S. constitutional amendment that bans "excessive fines."

The One Thing Biden Officials and Democrats Need to Realize About Israel

The Biden-Netanyahu relationship is just as cold, if not colder, than the one the Israeli prime minister had with Obama. For some reason, the Biden officials don’t want Israeli forces to annihilate what’s left of Hamas. The incredible part about today’s latest development in Israel-US relations is that US officials are accusing Netanyahu’s government of orchestrating this diplomatic drama for domestic purposes. If anything, it’s the Biden administration that’s doing it since Joe has some serious problems with Arab American voting communities in the Rust Belt. Young voters also lean pro-Hamas (via Axios):

“Please, my lord give her the baby. Just don’t kill him!”

 - The Old Testament, 1 Kings 3:16–28

It's a story from the old times...a story about a solution proposed to what was truly a heart wrenching decision. Most know the words I quoted from the story of King Solomon and his so-called “baby splitting” decision involving two mothers fighting over who was one baby's rightful mother, and thus to whom he belonged. And with but one women alone speaking the simple words “just don't kill him,” a mother's love was exposed, and with it came the truth as to who was the baby's true mother.

 

A long ago king...a seeker of truth...helped to expose the wisdom and righteousness that lies only within truth itself, a lesson as relevant today as it was so many millennia ago. And while today's circumstances are obviously quite different, the righteousness in not just knowing what is truth but being able to separate truth from lies, I believe lies within the very soul of today's modern day seeker of truth...as in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu...the man I consider to be one of the world's last great statesmen. And only when his truth is accepted as truth by all can justice finally be served even if it means pushing aside the naysayers...pushing aside in this case not just those referring to the discourse surrounding the war Israel is now fighting, but pushing aside those who willfully, willingly, and maliciously try to turn Netanyahu's truth into lies.

Simply, Netanyahu's truth is the conduit by which facts coupled with actions taken have proven that Hamas' goal...that Iran's goal...is to annihilate the Jewish State of Israel...wipe them and all those of the Jewish faith off the face of the map, no matter where they might live. And that truth envelopes within it the fact that Israel is not just fighting for its right to exist, but for freedom itself...and said freedom is not just for Israel but for the entirety of the Western world...which too is at stake. And while Netanyahu understands this all too well, he is wise enough to know that circumstances alone, at times, determines whether justice... hence truth...will or will not be served.

Israel is now engaged in a war between civilized men vs. the savages...and yet Netanyahu sadly sees unholy alliances being forged by the most unlikely of players for not only are some of Israel's long held allies digging the proverbial knife deeper into her back, but so too are some who claim themselves to be either of the Jewish faith or have family members and/or friends who are. And I think this not only hurts Israel and Israelis but Jews and Christians...yes Christians...everywhere for while Israel is now the outward enemy know that Christians are surely next on the savages “blood lust” list. And with many Christian groups bravely showing outward support for Israel, the common ground between the two faiths makes for a common enemy in the eyes of those wishing to do harm.

Thankfully, there is a key commonality shared between these two great faiths...as in the overwhelming “will to survive.” And no one knows the true strength embedded within the “will to survive” better than BiBi Netanyahu, the man now faced with a King Solomon-like decision of his own. And it is all because long time allies and friends are now doing the unspeakable not in the name of peace, but for political expediency alone. Let me explain with but two key examples.

Example 1: Joe Biden. When Israel's war with Hamas started on Saturday, October 7, 2023 we saw, for a brief moment, our country and our leaders uniting behind the Jewish State as the atrocities committed upon innocents simply could not be denied even by Biden. And with memories of the Holocaust never to be forgotten nor ever to be erased, the visuals released of what was done to innocent men, women, and children...some but a few months old...was undeniable proof that pure evil does indeed still walk the Earth.

And so we as a nation, together with the civilized world, did rightfully align ourselves on the side of Israel...that is until said tangible proof started being manipulated and twisted in the minds of anti-Semites everywhere...twisted to such a degree that innocent victims became collective perpetrators of but a self-perceived wrong, while Hamas terrorists became the liberal media's darlings supposedly just fighting against those who denied them a homeland. Lies told, lies believed by so many even here in our own country as we bore witness to the aforementioned Joe Biden of October 7th...the Joe Biden who unequivocally supported Israel...turning into the very man who just days ago had the U.S. submit a draft resolution to the UN calling for an immediate cease-fire in Gaza...a ceasefire tied to the release of Israeli hostages...hostages even Biden knows might no longer be alive. And besides, this proposed ceasefire is but another in a long list of past ceasefires...ceasefires that did nothing but give Hamas time to regroup, rearm, and fight on yet again.

And this comes on top of Biden's announcement of a few weeks ago that the U.S. military will start building an “emergency pier” in Gaza...thus caving to the demands of pro-Palestinian, anti-Israel supporters here in the U.S... caving solely in hopes of not losing their vote come this November. And Biden knows well that not only is this pier building a large scale and dangerous military undertaking for the U.S., but he also knows that it's an attempt to break a siege enforced not by an enemy, but by our ally Israel...a siege done solely in the name of self-preservation. And yet Biden still claims that this is being done simply to allow for the flow of “humanitarian aide” into Gaza, never mind the well known fact that Hamas continues to steal the aid currently arriving in Gaza. And that includes humanitarian aid from Israel itself as well as aide from both our government and private “humanitarian aide” organizations that is airdropped into Gaza.

Simply, it's my opinion that Joe Biden will continue to dance on the orchestrated strings of his puppet master Barack Obama, the man whose personal hatred for Benjamin Netanyahu coupled with his hatred for Israel and the Jewish people, is the true director of this hopefully vote garnering, yet ever so dangerous operation itself.

 

Example 2: Chuck Schumer. A total disgrace as he has proven himself to be a Jew who while claiming to be a supporter of Israel is anything but. Recently stating in a Senate floor address that Netanyahu's government “no longer fits the needs of Israel after October 7,” Schumer went on to state that “the Israeli people are being stifled right now by a governing vision that is stuck in the past.” Untruths spoken only added to by his closing words that, “At this critical juncture, I believe a new election is the only way to allow for a healthy and open decision-making process about the future of Israel, at a time when so many Israelis have lost their confidence in the vision and direction of their government.”

Sorry Schumer but it's you and your Israel-hating, Hamas condoning Democrat cronies in Congress who have lost confidence in Netanyahu's direction, for his direction is the antithesis of your party's no longer veiled support for Israel's enemy or for it's Hamas supporting populace. And it's your words alone...words that your “heart breaks at the loss of so many civilian lives in Gaza”...civilians of which 65+% outwardly supported then and still support now Hamas' attack on Israel...that have questioned a sovereign government's future...a future Israelis alone must decide not a bleeding heart liberal like you.

In fact, House Speaker Mike Johnson said that Schumer’s call for a new election in Israel is both “highly inappropriate” and “just plain wrong for an American leader to play such a divisive role in Israeli politics while our closest ally in the region is in an existential battle for its very survival. We need to be standing with Israel.” I so agree with the Speaker's words, and might I add that not only is it wrong but in a way Schumer's words, in my opinion, border on the treasonous for what he is actually doing, in a round about way, is calling for the overthrowing of an ally's sovereign government.

 

But thankfully, Netanyahu himself stood strong in calling Schumer to task via a video call with Senate Republicans in which he stated that he and Israel would “press on” with the war in Gaza. My translation: the war will not only rightfully continue on with Israel's push into Rafah thus eliminating what BiBi has called “the remnant of Hamas battalions there,” but his strong words of defiance showed just how weak a president Joe Biden is on the world stage. 

And after the call Schumer dared to add insult to injury by declining Netanyahu's request to address the Senate Democratic Caucus, with Schumer's excuse being that he did not believe that Netanyahu's address would happen in a nonpartisan manner. And hearing that House Speaker Mike Johnson said he will invite Netanyahu to address Congress. “I would love to have him come in and address a joint session of Congress. We'll certainly extend that invitation,” were his words, but as I write this it's not clear if the invitation has yet been extended or if it has been there's been no reply, to date, from Netanyahu himself.

How heavy Netanyahu's heart must be right now, but in my heart I know that whatever decision he makes will be the right decision for both Israel and those of the Jewish faith. I stand united with Benjamin Netanyahu, I always have and always will, for he is a modern day Solomon, and the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob will be the one guiding his hand. Case closed.
