Op-ed:
An open letter to Benjamin Netanyahu
By: Diane Sori
Dear Prime Minister Netanyahu,
It seems to me that the time for talk is over as your hand is being forced to decide which fork in the road Israel will take against those out to kill you.
With Mahmoud Abbas continuing with his ridiculous demands that you freeze Israeli settlement construction and that you recognize the pre-1967 borders in exchange for peace; with Abbas’ continued threat that if you don’t comply with said demands that he will again seek recognition of a Palestinian state from the UN General Assembly; with Jimmy Carter, our joke of an ex-president, once again butting into Middle East affairs he has no business butting into like his 'supposed' monitoring of the Egyptian ‘fixed’ elections and his meeting with Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal to discuss developments in the Hamas-Fatah reconciliation efforts (Jimmy forgets that meeting and negotiating with a terrorist is treason); with enemy troops being amassed along your Syrian border funded by the ever-loving Ahmadinejad; and most serious of all, with his and Iran's stalling for yet another three weeks the talks on its nuclear so-called 'peaceful program' (yeah right), Israel is simply running out of time to chose which fork in the road it will take...and with all due respect, I believe you know it.
Mr. Prime Minister, I know you are a man of peace who honors and abides by the tenets of democracy but you know as well as I do that sometimes peace does not come at the negotiation table but comes as the victor in war, and it seems that war is being forced upon you. While an armed clash with Iran might be stalled a bit longer while what will prove to be useless economic sanctions continue to be put in place, I think you know the bottom line is that you cannot negotiate with a madman who wants to wipe you, your country, and the Jewish people off the face of the Earth.
I also know and understand that Iran will most definitely reach a point, and fairly soon is my guess, where their nuclear components will be beyond the strike realm of the Israeli Air Force, and that it would take a joint US-Israeli effort to stop them from bringing a bomb to fruition. I pray that if need be, that we would stand united with Israel and join with you in a ‘shock and awe’ campaign like never seen before, thus ending the Iranian threat to the world once and forever.
BiBi, and I hope at this point that I can call you BiBi, I fully understand that Israel has the God given right to defend itself against all you perceive as her enemies for Israel is a sovereign nation, but sadly you must accept as fact that we have a current president who is NOT on your side, a president who not only sides with your enemies but also sends them millions and millions of dollars said to be for humanitarian aid but which we know is used for anything but.
BiBi, let me make this as clear as I can...Barack Hussein Obama is NOT going to help you, is NOT going to help Israel, and will NEVER help the Jewish people, because it’s ingrained down to his very core that you, Israel, and the Jewish people are his enemies. And while Barack Hussein Obama will use taqiyya to try and fool you that this is not the case, I know you are wise enough to recognize his deceptions and lies.
I’m not a mind reader, BiBi, and I would just be guessing as to what your final decision will be, but I do believe I can safely tell you that ‘We the People’ of the United States of America stand wholeheartedly behind you, behind Israel, and behind the Jewish people. I will even go so far as to say that some of us would want to join you in the fight for Israel's survival if you would allow us to.
The dangerous chess game that Ahmadinejad started has now reached the point where checkmate is inevitable. I also know that Ahmadinejad has met a formidable chess player in you, and I know for sure that it will NOT be Israel that is wiped from the game board.
Your friend and supporter in America,

Great open letter, Diane! You said it all!
ReplyDeleteThis is an Excellent piece !!!!! A D
DeleteThanks. :)
DeleteDiane, you express the sentiments of so many of us. Not just those who've come to despise the current occupant of the White House, but who sincerely revere Prime Minister Netanyahu. The very first time I saw this man on television, I could tell he was someone of real substance, and he knew what he was talking about. I wish him success, long life, and the salvation of his country. I look forward to witnessing a great relationship between the Prime Minister with President Romney.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys and Mr. Airwaves, remember that BiBi and Romney have a deep personal friendship going back to the mid-70's. Come November Israel will have a friend and ally in the White House once again. :)
ReplyDeleteAlways precise and to the point <3 Amein achoti!
ReplyDeleteThanks, achoti :)
ReplyDeleteVery good Diane. "If the arabs put down their weapons today there would be no more violence. If the Jews put down their weapons today there would be no more Israel." Benjamin Netanyahu. Think the two of you are thinking alike here Diane.
ReplyDeleteBless Israel and throw the palestinians out to Jordan, Syria and Egypt. They have no place or part in Israel.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathin9, and I know BiBi's quote so well. He is 100% correct! And sirwilliam, the so-called Palestinians were given a homeland in 1948...it was called Trans-Jordan but their own people didn't want them and they still don't!
