Op-ed:
For Israel the game is set...the dice just have to be rolled
By: Diane Sori
And so the countdown to a Middle-East war begins but it’s on
Israel’s timetable NOT Barack Hussein Obama’s.
Two scenarios, two possibilities.
Scenario one: senior Israeli ministers publicly stated last
weekend that the next International Atomic Energy Agency's report, due out on
November 8th, will bear a great deal of weight on Israel’s decision whether
to strike or not strike Iran. But most
importantly note the date...two days AFTER our elections.
Binyamin Netanyahu is a smart man, a very smart man, and he’s
known all along that Barack Hussein Obama is NOT Israel’s friend and would sell
her out to his muslim brethren in a heartbeat.
I have said since day one that BiBi would NEVER gamble on Obama’s using
Israel as a campaign tactic for his re-election bid, as he knows that if Obama is
re-elected it might be the death toll for Israel. The November 8th release date, and
BiBi using its findings to base his timetable to attack Iran on is a deliberate
and oh so warranted slap in the face to Barack Hussein Obama.
With Iran already possessing more than four tons of 3%-4%
enriched uranium, and 70 kgs. of 20% enriched uranium, and with them continuing
to make and test fire missiles, Netanyahu knows the time is near but not so
near as to allow Obama the upper hand in deciding when, how, and what will or
will not be done to take out Iran’s nuclear program...if Obama even decided to
support Israel at all.
The decision to go or not go remains solely with Benjamin Netanyahu
for its Israel that Iran wants to wipe off the map NOT their good old buddy,
protector, and fellow muslim Barack Hussein Obama.
Scenario two: reports have recently surfaced that Iran might
have an operation nuclear weapon by as early as October 1st. If true, and only if true, this could mean
that Israel will go in before our election most likely without notifying Obama
beforehand and without the support our military. While Obama would love to use this as an
October surprise, again, Netanyahu would not allow him to do so as he has NO trust
or faith in Obama’s objectives for Israel’s future survival.
If Netanyahu decides to go in alone, Obama would still have
to protect American interests in the Middle East while avoiding the appearance
of siding with Israel as he can’t make his muslim brethren mad at him. With either scenario Obama comes out the
loser, and as I’ve always said payback would be a bitch for him and rightly so.
But no matter if scenario one or scenario two plays out, it
seems that Netanyahu has indeed decided to take out Iran’s nuclear facilities
sometime within the next few months.
Israel will do what it has to do to stop Iran from either acquiring nuclear
weapons, or at least preventing them from getting delivery capability.
But even with all the pieces in place it’s still important
to remember that Netanyahu does NOT want a major conflict that could cause serious
damage to Israel itself or to her people. So whatever scenario plays out it will play
out on the side of limited engagement so as NOT to cause a major escalation in
tensions that could quickly degenerate into a total all out Middle-East war. Also, the Iranians do understand that starting
a major war with Israel would most likely assure an all-out American
intervention, especially if scenario one plays out and Mitt Romney is president,
as Romney has publicly stated that he will stand by and support Israel in
whatever decision they make.
However, no matter which scenario becomes the one put into
play you have to throw into the mix irrational minds that have one objective
and one alone, and that is to wipe Israel off the map. Such is the case with Iranian Gen. Amir Ali
Hajizadeh, head of the Revolutionary Guard's air force, who recently told the IRNA news agency that an
Israeli airstrike against his country's nuclear facilities is ‘welcome’ because
then Iran would have a reason to retaliate and ‘get rid of’ the Jewish state ‘forever.’
And this past Saturday Hezbollah officials warned Israel of serious
consequences if Iran is attacked as they will be Iran's proxy and launch rocket
attacks on Israel’s major cities.
The bottom line in all this is that Israel will go and
pre-emptively take out Iran’s nuclear facilities. The only question is when exactly that will
be. Obama and Netanyahu will never agree
on Iran as Netanyahu does not believe Obama will ever be willing to take
pre-emptive military action against Iran, and with Obama believing Netanyahu's
diplomatic policies being a failure.
Netanyahu knows attacking Iran will call for using all
Israel’s military and defense capabilities but what choice does he really have
as Israel is now completely surrounding be those out to wipe her off the face
of the Earth...a soon-to-be nuclear-armed Iran to the east; threatened Syrian
chemical warfare to the north, and the Muslim Brotherhood takeover of Egypt to
the south...and a current American president who could care less.
For America’s future and Israel’s very survival, November 6th
can’t come soon enough.
