Democrats Delusions of Grandeur

The list of those on the “other” side of the political aisle who are thinking of throwing their hats into the ring for the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination seems to grow by the day with now more than three dozen senators, governors, mayors and business leaders mulling over the idea of taking on President Donald Trump.

And in that ring are several serious big name “maybe's”...Joe Biden, Michael Bloomberg, Bernie Sanders, Kirsten Gillibrand...are to name but a few with two once “maybe's” now becoming most probably entering the race...as in Cory Booker and Kamala Harris. And let's not forget former U.S. Housing Secretary Julián Castro who announced a few months ago that he's already formed an exploratory committee to “test the waters” so to speak... and all three...Booker, Harris, and Castro...are as far left as they come. And our favorite faux Indian, Sen. Elizabeth 'Pocahontas' Warren, has already declared she's running (more on that in a bit), but now entering center stage is a relative political unknown who appeared out of nowhere to state that he's most “definitely running.”

Jay Inslee...the Democrat governor of the failed state of Washington...just look at the mess Seattle has become... is a man who not only likes to brag that Washington has “the best weed in the United States of America”...but is the very man who now thinks he can win in 2020 on a sole platform of...drum roll please...“climate change.” The man who few have heard of...save for political insiders... thinks what is actually the “weather” can not only garner him the Democrat presidential nomination but that he can beat President Trump...who he calls “the commander in chief of delusion”...turning him into a one-term president.

Laughable isn't it especially with “climate change”...formally known as “global warming” (which became “climate change” only after NASA photos proved the ice caps were growing not shrinking), and before that referred to as “global cooling”...being nothing but a hoax perpetrated on the gullible...of which Governor Inslee is surely one.

But before I delve into the many political aspects of such a foolish platform let's look at a few scientific facts...not theories but facts...for what Inslee and other liberal sorts call “climate change” is indeed nothing but the “weather” with just a little man-made “pollution” thrown in for good measure. But more specifically, what these leftists are harping about is naturally occurring “weather cycles” that have occurred right on schedule about every 200 to 300 years ever since the Earth first formed 4.543 billion years ago...sorry holy-than-thous...and will continue occurring until our sun eventually “burns out.” 

 

And when will that “burn out” be you ask...how about in roughly another 5 billion years or so...as our sun's hydrogen decidedly starts running out. And that depletion will see gravity itself causing the inside of the sun...which will mostly be comprised of helium by then...to shrink and get even hotter, while at the same time the sun's outside layer will expand and cool down turning our sun into a “red giant”...a “red giant” big enough to “swallow up” where the Earth is now. Bye-bye Earth you had a nice run.

So even while in some areas of our planet temperatures have “temporarily” risen by a degree or two with some sea levels rising concurrently, know this has happened many times before and will in time gain level out  just like it did when our nation was born*...before what is pollution and this “climate change” nonsense was concocted in the minds of uber leftist politicians, hypocrites, and loons who don't know the difference...or do but don't care...between the “weather” and “pollution”...with “pollution” being the only thing indeed man-made...the only thing we can truly correct if we set our minds and our money to it.

But why hypocrites...because the politicians yelling the loudest about the dangers of “climate change” and “pollution”...and Inslee aka 'Al Gore-lite' is one of them...are the very politicians flying to and fro to meetings and such in big corporate jets that leave the biggest “carbon footprint” of all.

And so the man who thinks California's recent spate of devastating forest fires was caused by “global warming”... instead of by their actual causes being transformer malfunctions, lighting strikes, or being intentionally set...is the same man who thinks that both mass migration and supposed worldwide droughts...especially in Africa...will devastate farmers and natural resources while most assuredly crippling America's economic systems. But this is truly wrong thinking for today's current mass migrations are happening more for political than humanitarian reasons as they are not migration but invasion...you can look to Europe to see just that. And seriously, the droughts in Africa have never stopped happening...not since the days when pharaohs and tribal kings ruled over the land...and most assuredly occurred even before then.

"Weather cycles" folks...it's all about "weather cycles"...always has been...always will be.

And some truly do forget simple science...simple science as in with the sun warming our Earth, heating the surface, oceans, and atmosphere (which in turn warms the huge air masses that comprise large and small weather systems), it's the sun itself...as in the “solar energy” it produces...coupled with a cyclic waxing and waning of solar radiation output (ie, solar flares) hitting our atmosphere...that is both the primary driver and determiner of our weather, and nothing man does or doesn't do can change that or the actual cycles...as in the time frames in which said cycles occur...period.

Knowing all this and also the fact that “climate change” is both big business and is used as a scare tactic, what is now-candidate Jay Inslee's “climate change” platform? First, Inslee would initiate a definitive mix of government investments and incentives to spur other investments... translation: even more big government interference in the private sector. Second, Inslee has stated that he would place more restrictions on power plants and emissions... translation: rescinding President Trump's much heralded lifting of crippling regulations most especially on the coal industry. Third, Inslee says he would create programs to promote research and development (R&D) and job growth in the“climate change” field... translation: more useless government R&D programs at our taxpayer expense spent on something that doesn't even exist. And lastly, this ever so foolish man believes that by his creating “climate change” jobs...guess we need even more of what seems to be always get it wrong weathermen...that he can make an indent in what the left believes is still growing income inequality.

And so Washington state's uber progressive Governor Jay Inslee...who so rudely told President Trump that he needed to “stop tweeting and start listening” at last years National Governors Association meeting in Washington, D.C., is now running for president in 2020 with the hope that Americans will forget about the need for the wall; forget about the ongoing invasion at our southern border; forget about the ever-growing number of killings of police officers; forget about America's homeless veterans and a health care system that the Democrats ruined; forget how great the economy is doing under President Trump; and instead turn their focus to what is but the “weather” to help him get elected.

The environment...the word Jay Inslee loves to couple with “climate change”...is fine as “mother nature” always has a way of repairing and replenishing itself via of all things the “weather”...but can America repair herself if this “climate change” loon were dare to be elected...that is truly something I pray we never have to find out.

And I surely pray we don't have to find out what America would be like with Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren as president. Warren, who once was a Republican (she switched parties in 1996) and who now loves to criticize what she calls “big banks” and “unregulated capitalism,” believes that the election of President Trump was a “product of systemic corruption that had been allowed to run wild for too long.” Announcing her run for the presidency on New Year's Eve in an email to her supporters, Warren, like previously stated Julian Castro, formed an exploratory committee that allows her to fill staff positions...which she is doing with the likes of alumni from the campaigns of Barack HUSSEIN Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders...and to raise money without “formally” starting her presidential bid.

So with folks like those on her staff it's safe to assume that Elizabeth Warren's campaign will surely be based in the gutter...after all this is the very woman who has said on many an occasion that President Trump is “a thin-skinned racist bully” and a “wannabe tyrant”... fighting words echoing the sentiments of both Obama and Hillary.

And while Elizabeth Warren's actual presidential platform has not been finalized yet, we can safely assume it will include the usual roster of Democrat nonsense including increasing taxes on the rich and middle class while at the same time giving tax breaks to the supposed poor...as in those on the government dole who probably make more money having their hands out than most hard working middle-income Americans do. Also on the list I'm sure will be working towards a permanent increase in the share of long-term revenues paid by large corporations while not caring that they are the country's main jobs creator. 

And dare we forget opening America's borders to any and all while increasing the number of sanctuary cities/states (it's all about votes after all); securing more monies for pro-abortion incentives and increasing Planned Parenthood funding; forcing “climate change” nonsense down our throats; getting the Dream Act and gun control laws passed post-haste; cutting America's defense budget; and of course prime on the list will be trying to impeach President Trump.

However, the actual agenda of the woman who considers herself “a champion of the middle class” could not be any clearer for it will encompass the channeling of her inner Obama as she strives for what she in her own words calls a “huge, systemic change to make this country work for all of us.” Translation: this is but Warren's rewording of Obama's oh so infamous “fundamentally transforming the United States of America” vision with her also wanting to bring the rich down to the level of the poor with what little is left of the middle class crushed in between. 

And both her globalist and self-perceived “populist” leanings will show through as this is the woman who not only pledged to "root out” what she believes is solely Republican “corruption in government,” but also is the woman who desperately wants to “impose stricter regulations on Wall Street banks and corporations.” Translation: Elizabeth Warren's actual agenda will help to collapse our monetary system from within in order to collapse our free market economy and help to turn our beloved America into yet another socialist driven hell-hole.

Then when you add in her whining that “the declining middle-class share of income and the gap between black and white household wealth continues to grow,” it surely becomes evident that what Elizabeth Warren is spewing is more than just the same old liberal “tax and spend” rhetoric for her words are decidedly helping with Obama's reopening of a once healing racial divide while instigating even more class warfare at the same time. And know that Warren's words are but a rehash of what has become part and parcel of the Democrat agenda...a hate-filled agenda tempered throughout with jealousy and divisiveness used to keep the party faithful in line while they pander to those whose votes they hope their promises and handouts will buy.

And so Elizabeth "but I'm still part Pocahontas" Warren is now running for president as she really believes she is presidential material. Here's a news flash for her...she's not...for even the editorial board of the uber liberal Boston Globe, her hometown newspaper, urged her not to run for president, saying she who calls President Trump a “divisive figure” has now become “a divisive figure” herself. And if you can't get your own hometown newspaper to at least support your run for president...never mind endorsing you...then you surely won't get 'We the People's' support either.

And so our favorite faux Indian...political correctness be damned...should take Washington state's “climate change” loon by the hand and together walk off into the political sunset for neither has a chance of winning the presidency let alone the Democrat nomination. The Democrats desperately need new party flag-bearers that hearken back to the Democrat party of JFK if they seriously think they even have a chance of retaking the White House in 2024 let alone in 2020...President Trump's "America First" policies, his tweets, and loyalists have thankfully seen to that.

* During the years of our nations founding we were going through what's referred to as a "little ice age" where temperatures were lower than normal. The winter of 1776 when Washington crossed the Delaware was colder than it normally would be.
