Ilhan Omar...The Gift That Keeps On Giving
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American Political Radio
“I would say our country should be more fearful of white men across our country because they are actually causing most of the deaths within this country.”
- Ilhan Oman's words in a February 2018 interview with Al-Jazeera
Politicians words many times do come back to haunt and rightfully so, but it's how the media twists those words that more times than not comes into question. If a politician is a Republican their past words become a major news story and they and their words are dragged through the 24/7 media mud. However, if old words surface from a Democrat, and most especially if those words are from the lips of a liberal “woman of color,” the media twists those words as if the one saying those words is the victim instead of actually being the perpetrator of hate.
And an example of just this happened last week when Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) was trying to make a point by posting on Twitter a video clip of now Rep. Ilhan Omar talking about white supremacy and the fact that we should be worried about "white men in power." Then adding the words that we should be following the “radicalization of white men,” and that perhaps we should subject those white men to "profiling"...sounds like racism does it not.
Now let me say here that I have gone through numerous versions of this video...both Al-Jazeera's and the liberal alphabet media's...with Ilhan Omar saying just those very words... and in no way could all those many different videos been “doctored” as the media is now claiming. And yet that same media...actually the liberal Trump-hating media...was quick to inform Sen. Rubio that he had shared just such a “doctored” video, and that he had deliberately omitted what they called “relevant context.” Claiming that Omar had prefaced those words with the words "if fear was the driving force of policies to keep America safe," the truth is that while those words could be heard in one or two of the other online videos but not in either the video Rubio posted nor in the fuller version I embedded within this article, what's not being reported by the liberal media is that Ilhan Omar did not...I repeat not...say those words even remotely in context nor even in close to the same breath as she said what are overtly racist "white men” comments in any of the video's where those words could be heard.
And that leaves one to now wonder if it's not the liberal media itself who's the one “doctoring” Omar's comments to fit both their and her 2020 agenda...just saying.
So what was Sen. Rubio's response to the liberal media's claim that he had shared a “doctored” video to try and paint Omar as a racist against "white men?" Not only did Rubio say that, “I am sure the media will now hound every Democrat to denounce this statement as racist. Right?,” and that the video itself was not the point of his post, but he stated that the point he was trying to make was simply to see how the media as a whole was going to react to said video. Rightfully stating that if any Republican had said the same things Ilhan Omar had said...statements she was caught on video making...that they would “not have been coddled quite so much” or have the media "bend over backwards" for them to find what they claim is the complete “context.”
A double standard indeed for if Sen. Marco Rubio had said even remotely similar words about muslims in general or “people of color” in specific, he would not only be publicly branded as an overt racist, but he would be called out as such in just about every media outlet as well as in the media-driven “court of public opinion.”
So while the liberal media was quick to claim that Sen. Rubio took Omar's words out of “context”... which he most surely did not...the fact remains that Republicans are constantly being chastised by the media for saying things not nearly as controversial or as hateful as the words Ilhan Omar spewed out... and that's no matter if their words are taken out of context or not. And it's these very words of hate that Omar continues to allude to as truth to this very day...words the liberal media remains either silent to or downplays the significance of by claiming her words are being “taken out of context,” but with absolutely no undeniable proof of that ever being the case.
So
while the liberal media continues to give muslima Ihan Omar a free
pass on her overtly racist “white
men”
comments, they also recently downplayed the fact that it was she who
proposed the very resolution supporting the right to boycott the
Jewish State of Israel. Comparing her hoped for boycott to past U.S.
boycotts of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union, and saying that
boycotts are a legitimate form of economic protest, it cannot be more
obvious that Ilhan Omar is an in-your-face hater of both the
Jewish people and of Israel herself.
And Omar's resolution was co-sponsored by her fellow anti-Israel cohort Rashida Tlaib, both of whom previously spoke out in support of boycotting Israel...both of whom have issued statements that many rightfully regard as being anti-Semitic tropes including insinuations that Jews have dual loyalty to the United States and to Israel. Thankfully though her vile resolution failed, but not before Omar got yet another 15-minutes of media-driven fame to plead not just for doing away with U.S. laws that actually banned the pro-Palestinian BDS ("Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions") boycott of Israel...actually a movement to pressure Israel into ending its (what I believe to be rightful and legitimate) occupation of the West Bank...but to also claim that Americans have the Constitutional right to organize boycotts against any foreign country they so choose to.
Caught by her own words spoken...caught by her words, "why we support...the BDS movement."
"Shame on" Ilhan Omar is right as she deliberately and with much malice intended proposed this most despicable anti-Israel resolution just as the Democrat House leadership was getting ready to introduce a non-binding resolution condemning the very BDS movement that Omar was openly supporting. And while the House did reject a more far-reaching and stringent bill passed by the Republican-led Senate...a bill that would have allowed both state and local governments to break ties with companies that do participate in the boycott movement...it's the end result that matters most.
And thankfully that end result saw Ilhan Omar's resolution failing and the House bipartisan resolution passing by a vote of 398-to-17, with five House members voting "present" and 13 members "not voting" (NV). And the resolution passed was strong for it condemned the "Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions" (BDS) anti-Israel movement as being one that “promotes principles of collective guilt, mass punishment and group isolation, which are destructive of prospects for progress towards peace.” And neither Ilhan Omar nor Rashida Tlaib had the guts or the courage to take part in the floor debate before said vote was taken.
And how it must have pained these two haters to see their proposed resolution go down in flames and a bi-partisan resolution being passed instead. And it must have pained them even more to hear both the words of uber liberal Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL) when he stated that while, “Boycotts have been previously used as tools for social justice in this very country, the B.D.S. doesn’t seek social justice. It seeks a world in which the state of Israel doesn’t exist.”...and then have to come to grips with the fact that Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), one of their fellow “Squad” members, actually voted for the bi-partisan House resolution. Maybe there's a glimmer of hope that Rep. Pressley will eventually come to her senses and stop foolishly tying herself to such an anti-Semitic bunch of haters.
Hope “Mr. Pillow” Mike Mandel does decide to try to take out this piece of trash come election time.
