Divert, deflect, and distract...the alphabet media's weapons of choice to protect Obama and Hillary

What a sad commentary on the media in today's America when Chris Christie's ubber traffic jam fiasco dubbed 'BridgeGate' got more media coverage in the first 24 hours after the story broke than the IRS scandal was given in the past six or so months.

Jumping fast and hard on the news about the Republican governor and presidential hopeful...and as they try to turn 'BridgeGate' into a career ending scandal...the in-the-pocket-of-Obama alphabet media gave a solid 34 minutes and 28 seconds of air-time to said traffic jam that first day in the hopes that it would divert, deflect, and distract us away from ObamaCare, Benghazi, the IRS and NSA scandals, the economic numbers being manipulated, and of critical importance...deflect our attention away from former Defense Secretary Robert Gates' new tell all book...which in time could turn into the mother of all scandals because of Obama's "absence of conviction" in regards to Afghanistan and Iraq.

And of course the alphabet media jumped on Christie NOT just to ruin his political career but also to take the pressure and focus off their next in-line-for-the-presidency 'anointed one'...Hillary 'What does it matter' Clinton.

Divert, deflect, and distract...the fork in the road that the alphabet media travels that they rarely if ever exit to the right as they cover for Obama on a daily basis. And we know that so-called 'fair and balanced' reporting does NOT happen with today's left-leaning reporters, talking heads, and political pundits who seem to report only their news of choice and who actually fabricate and make-up news when need be. And sadly, sometimes even FOX is guilty of this...the very conservative leaning station who loves to tout the words 'fair and balanced' every chance they get.

And while we know how critical it is for 'We the People' to maintain a proper perspective on what's actually important vs. what's being reported as important by those in the alphabet media who deliberately initiate bias, it becomes harder to maintain focus when media malice is the hallmark of the leftist media establishment who stacks the deck against conservatives every chance they get.

Just a few cases in point...Christie's people having caused a traffic jam on the GW bridge gets major network coverage by the alphabet media, but Obama spitting in the face of our veterans by shutting down their access to the WWII Memorial instead had them either ignoring the story completely, or if they did cover it they twisted and distorted the facts to paint the 'bad' Republicans as the cause of the denied access, simply because they had to follow the Obama rhetoric that the Republicans forced the government shutdown.

And then there's the IRS scandal...the scandal where TEA Party and conservative groups were denied or delayed in getting 501-C3 tax exempt status...which should be big news because Obama just appointed one of his own big money donors to head the investigation into the abuses. Talk about knowing the outcome of the investigation before the investigation even gets started...but only FOX is reporting on this...MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and even CNN are saying NOT a word.

And while our floundering economy trudges along, the alphabet media heralds the newest job's numbers showing that the unemployment rate has declined from 7.0% to 6.7%. Yet they fail to report that only 74,000 new jobs were created in December as more people dropped out of the job's market than entered it. In fact, they dare NOT tell you that since Obama took office more Americans have entered into poverty than have left it nor will you hear that to end poverty the focus should be on jobs creation NOT on increasing unemployment benefits as Obama wants to do...because if they did Obama would lose those loyal to him whose very existence depends on their living off his government freebies.

And then there's ObamaCare...the gift that keeps on giving...giving 'We the People' heartburn that is. For example, the alphabet media bias for Obama was in-your-face-obvious last November when the NBC News hierarchy ordered that NO mention of the ObamaCare roll out disaster be mentioned on air for three days. NOT one word was said about the millions of Americans losing their health insurance nor was a word mentioned about the political damage that was done to Obama and the Democratic Party because of the Healthcare.gov website failures. An Obama policy disaster was ignored at the same time his LIES about being able to keep your current policy and doctors you liked was glossed over into becoming NOTHING but a slight misspeak, because 'We the People' should have known that Obama really meant we can keep both if they met ObamaCare's mandated coverage.

Oh the joys of the doublespeak of the alphabet media (gag).

And Benghazi...what Barack HUSSEIN Obama referred to as a 'bump in the road' while he watched four Americans die in real time. How the liberal alphabet media tried and still tries to cover and deflect blame off of and away from both Obama and Hillary. Reporting over and over for weeks on end what Obama told them to report about a YouTube video critical of mohamed being the cause of the attack on our compound, they deliberately did NOT report the documented facts that Ambassador Stevens had sent numerous pleas for help to then Secretary of State Clinton because he feared the embassy could NOT sustain an attack and that he was concerned about the increase in islamic presence in Benghazi. And they also did NOT report that NO US forces were put in place or even made ready to respond to a possible attack (especially with the anniversary of 9/11 close at hand) or that there were those willing to go help even after the attack began but were ordered to 'stand down'...NOT a word was said about this even though the media knew and still knows that only the president in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief can override the military command and issue an order to 'stand down'.

And the last of my examples is how the alphabet media is reporting on Former Defense Secretary Robert Gate's new book, 'Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary at War.' Painting a very unflattering picture of Barack HUSSEIN Obama as Commander-in-Chief, the media reports NOT on what Gates said or on his examples as proof given, but instead chooses to fuel negativity and controversy against the book in their effort to protect their anointed black 'savior' of us all. And Gates daring to tell the truth about the man who NOT only leads from behind but who actually does NOT lead at all, has the alphabet media scurrying to 'make the story go away' by giving it as little attention and airtime as possible.

So if those in the alphabet media who have now made the Christie 'BridgeGate' scandal their newest target to be focused on instead took a good, hard, unbiased look at the corrupt Obama administration and the true scandals of an anything but transparent administration run amok, and did the job they are supposed to do by reporting the truth instead of diverting, deflecting, and distracting all off Obama, this country would be a hell of a lot better off. But if all the alphabet media continues to do is cover for the Obama administration, they just might succeed in protecting and getting elected their 2016 candidate of choice...Hillary 'What does it matter' Clinton.

And that would be a nightmare courtesy of the alphabet media that America might NOT be able to wake up from.

Op-ed: 
Honoring and dishonoring words that changed the course of our nation

A two-minute speech delivered 150 years ago today on the once bloodied grounds at Gettysburg PA…a two-minute speech that turned the tide of a war...a war that pit brother against brother…father against son…where 170,000 fought…where a third of Lee’s army died or lay wounded…where a quarter of the of the Union forces suffered the same fate.

The Gettysburg Address…a speech that remains one of the greatest pieces of oratory the world has ever known
…a speech that reinforced what our great nation stood for then and most importantly stands for today, “…that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom — and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

What our nation stands for today…what ‘We the People’ stand for…what our sham of a president does NOT.

According to Article II, Section 2, Clause I of the Constitution, the President of the United States is Commander-in-Chief of the United States Armed Forces, and in his capacity as Commander-in-Chief the president is sometimes asked to officiate at dedication ceremonies for military memorials, parks, national cemeteries, battleships, military bases, national monuments, and at other military related events.

To be asked to officiate at such events is an honor and should be treated as such for those being honored are those who gave their lives…are those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of freedom. Lincoln knew this and Lincoln honored those who died in one of the deadliest battles of the Civil War in a speech for the ages…in a speech that speaks of America’s dedication to God, Country, and Freedom.

And yet when it came time for Barack HUSSEIN Obama to NOT only honor those lost on that field in July 150 years ago…when it came time to honor the words that helped heal a nation…this most vile of men…this disgrace to NOT only the presidency itself but to his role as Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces…a man totally detached from honor and decency…decided NOT to attend the ceremony that will be held at the Soldiers’ National Cemetery. And coward that he is Barack HUSSEIN Obama had The National Park Service do his dirty work and announce his decision NOT to go.

And the man who loves to invoke Lincoln’s name time and again and to talk of his admiration for our 16th president…the man who loves to say that he’s from the ‘Land of Lincoln’…the man who used the Lincoln Bible for both his inauguration ceremonies ...cannot be bothered to pay tribute to one of our nation’s greatest speeches by one of our nation’s greatest presidents. Our nation’s first (supposed) black president, should be there if for NO other reason than to show the American people how far our nation has come since the days of the Civil War when the idea of a black president was NOT even a thought to be considered.

And when asked why he wasn’t going, Obama’s mouthpiece Jay Carney gave NO reason why other than to say he had NO updates on the president’s schedule for November 19th.

“I think that is an enormously significant event in our history, and I think Americans will take the appropriate time to consider it, consider the speech that was delivered there,” he said. “But beyond that, I don’t have any updates on the President’s schedule,” Carney bloviated, sidestepping the issue like he does for many other issues concerning our Traitor-in-Chief.

But this snub of Obama’s is NOT unique and will be added to his ever growing list of snubs towards anything having to do with our military or military related events. Remember, Obama skipping the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in 2010 choosing to go to Chicago instead, but made sure to attend the ceremony in 2012 as it was a mere six months before the presidential elections and he needed the photo-op. Remember, Obama has failed to commemorate D-Day every year since 2010, and in his first visit to the Viet Nam Memorial, again before the election, was for a photo-op and NOTHING more for while he was there vets were blocked from their own memorial. And let’s NOT forget Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s ultimate slap in the face to our military when he stopped elderly WWII veterans from visiting their own open-air memorial during the joke of a recent government shutdown.

And to add insult to injury, Obama is sending newly appointed…as in just this year…Interior Secretary Sally Jewell to honor those lost…to honor the most honorable of all Lincoln's words…on behalf of this administration. Sending Jewell to honor the man who freed the slaves when Obama himself should be in attendance to offer words of NOT only racial healing for the wounds he and his cohorts opened anew but also to offer words of bi-partisan reconciliation to do what’s right for the country NOT for what’s right for the body politics...this is the message...the words that Obama should be delivering today...a message of healing...a message of hope...like Lincoln delivered all those years ago.

And while great presidents exude pride NOT just in themselves and in the office to which they were elected, they show pride in how they speak of the American military and in how they relate to the American people. Maybe this means that in the end its best that Obama NOT attend today’s ceremonies for he does neither.

And maybe his NOT attending will allow those who died at Gettysburg to continue in an undisturbed Everlasting Rest for they will NOT be dishonored by this most dishonorable of men. And maybe the words of Abraham Lincoln…words that reset the course of a nation…can continue to be honored, revered, and respected without the stain Barack HUSSEIN Obama would put upon them…period.

Cutting deals with Obama is NOT an option

They turned him down…

And so it seems that ‘Prince’ Harry Reid is now pulling Obama’s strings for late yesterday afternoon Reid announced that he and Obama will NOT accept Boehner’s proposal regarding the short term raising of debt ceiling unless a ‘clean’ continuing resolution goes along with it…as in do what we originally demanded or you get NOTHING!

And so Speaker of the House John Boehner has been blowing smoke into the air with his proposal for a 6-week raise in the debt ceiling in exchange for the Democrats to be willing to sit down with the Republicans and negotiate on other matters…matters such as ObamaCare and spending cuts.

But why did Boehner even offer a negotiation proposal in the first place when Obama’s approval ratings have fallen to 37% in the polls, and with the fact that the sky will NOT fall if the debt ceiling is NOT raised…and all Obama’s bloviations to the contrary are just threatening game-playing words of NO substance at all.

So what was Boehner thinking when he announced that he was willing to negotiate with Obama on an extension to raise the debt ceiling…why doesn’t Boehner and his fellow Republicans get that we patriots want him and the House Republicans to stand strong and united against this most miserable excuse of a president and most assuredly NOT to negotiate with him.

I guess Boehner missed school the day the lesson was taught that you do NOT negotiate with the enemy…neither foreign nor domestic…ever.

And now it pains me to have to say that for the most part the Republican Party has let us down yet again. So to the few Republicans who publicly stood strong against Obama…especially to our hero Ted Cruz and also to Mike Lee, Marco Rubio and even Rand Paul…I apologize to you for Speaker of the House John Boehner choosing to betray you and your dedication to doing what’s right for ‘We the People’ as he caved and sold us out once again.

So it does NOT matter that Obama and Reid turned him down for Boehner did the deed and we patriots are NOT happy that he did so.

And I cannot say this enough, and I wish Boehner would let it sink into his brain…we will NOT default if we do NOT raise the debt ceiling as we have 5 times the monies needed to pay the interest on the notes due…and interest is all that has to be paid out…and Boehner should have thrown this fact in Obama’s face and used ObamaCare as his ace-in-the-hole bargaining chip if he was going to meet Obama half-way or anyway on anything.

So here the House Republicans had a chance to stand united…to stand their ground…to stand strong…as our side had the upper hand over NOT only Obama, but Harry Reid and the Senate as well. But Boehner blew it for now it sadly seems that NO matter what Obama dishes out he and the likes of McCain, Graham, and a host of other ‘so-called’ Republican party leaders will cower and cave before the man who NOT only stole an election through voter fraud, but a man whose ultimate goal is to destroy all we Americans honor and hold dear…all we honor and hold dear as he deliberately and with malice gets joy in inflicting pain...as much pain as possible on ‘We the People’…and laughs as he holds the race card over everyone’s head while doing so.

Caving to a man whose satisfaction…a satisfaction that only the most vile of human beings would revel in…is inflicting pain on those who deserve it the least…and Boehner’s offer adds an added slap to the face of true American heroes.

And as we all know Obama’s recent round of vileness was calculatingly directed at our veterans and troops starting with the closing of the World War II Memorial to our aging and frail heroes…and moved on to closing the Viet Nam Memorial to those finally getting the respect so long overdue…then continued on to closing the D-Day Memorial at Normandy...and most reprehensible of all to NOT restoring immediately the military death benefits that the government shutdown took away to family members of recently fallen troops …and Obama’s doing so out of NOTHING but sheer meanness makes what Boehner did even more reprehensible.

To say shame on him puts it oh so mildly for if Boehner had truly wanted to send something over to Obama that had true substance and teeth it should have been that the only way he would agree to raise the debt ceiling…and to raise it only temporarily at best…then removing ObamaCare from the general budget and making it a ‘stand alone bill’ would be the only way he would agree to it.

And now it’s over as Boehner was turned down and while some might think Boehner looks the hero for making the offer of compromise, if truth be told he looks like the sell-out that he is. Boehner betrayed those in his own party...brave men like Ted Cruz…and most of all he betrayed the hope that we Republicans and Tea Party members had in him to stand strong against this most vile of presidents.

And that my friends is the saddest thing of all.
