This Is Why The YouTube Shooter Carried Out The Attack

On Tuesday afternoon, 39-year-old Nasim Aghdam allegedly shot up YouTube headquarters. Three people were injured before Aghdam died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, ABC 7 News reported.

According to ABC 7 News, Aghdam was a Southern California resident who drove to San Bruno specifically to carry out her attack. Multiple sources have verified that Aghdam was a YouTube star who frequently utilized the social media website.

Aghdam allegedly has a website that details her issues with YouTube, specifically for censorship and demonetization of her video content. Her decline in viewership and ad revenue is said to be a possible motivation behind the shooting.

Trump orders troops to border in push for security

President Trump signed an order Wednesday deploying National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border to boost security while he pressures Congress to deliver more resources to build his wall, hire more Border Patrol agents and make it easier to deport new illegal immigrants.

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen said it’s too early to know how many troops will be sent, what their exact role will be or how much it will cost, but she suggested it would likely be along the lines of deployments by Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, who sent the National Guard to assist in intelligence-gathering, construction and surveillance.

The move came just as the government announced the latest numbers showing illegal immigration leaped 200 percent in March compared with a year earlier. It is the largest increase in records dating back to 2011, and it suggests illegal immigration is quickly rising back to the heights of the Obama administration.

Ms. Nielsen said National Guard troops could be on the border immediately, though exact timing would depend on when the White House could strike agreements with governors.

Perhaps just as big was the White House announcement that Mr. Trump will pursue a new immigration debate on Capitol Hill. Unlike the February debate, which centered on legalizing illegal immigrants, this one will focus on stiffening enforcement by attempting to close loopholes that smugglers and illegal immigrants have seized on to “game” the system.

Mark Zuckerberg Explains How Facebook Will Try to Kill Alternative Media

Mark Zuckerberg, in a recent interview with Vox, said his new system for Facebook is aimed at siphoning out the fake media from the real — the “broadly trusted” from the untrustworthy.

It means Facebook is about to start a strict censorship program that will no doubt leave conservative voices in the dust.

In his recent interview with the far-left online publication Vox, Mark Zuckerberg explained Facebook’s new system of favoring “broadly trusted” news sources, via a mechanism designed to favor established outlets and crush new media.

Facebook introduced its new system in January, and the results were immediately apparent. Facebook traffic to establishment outlets including CNN and NBC soared upwards, while traffic to conservative outlets fell. Facebook engagement (likes, shares, and comments) also fell across multiple new media outlets, including those on the right and the left. Facebook engagement on President Trump’s posts fell by 45 per cent.
