So as I see it, it's not the funding or the adjudicating of said funds that is the problem Trump has with the “Department of Education,” but it's that the department has become a political entity that has turned its back on educating America's children and replaced it with their own brand of political indoctrination. Simply, the act of educating...the act of teaching...has morphed instead into indoctrination of a decidedly political one-sided nature. Basics like English, math, science, and history have been corrupted by a discourse...by a curriculum...loaded down with political ideologies based not upon proven facts and tangible realities, but upon the agendas of whichever political party is in power at any given time.

Today, the biggest offender remains the Democrat party who not only high-jacked, if you will, the “Department of Education,” but also our public school curriculum as well. Now injecting their own special brand of what I call “woke theology” into almost every subject being taught, what the Democrats have done...with help from the current “Department of Education”...is use our public schools as but fertile picking grounds for their next generation of Democrat voters...Read entire article here.
'ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East': Trump Has a Warning if Hostages in Gaza Are Not Released
Rebecca Downs / Townhall Tipsheet

On Monday afternoon, President-elect Donald Trump released a statement over Truth Social making a clear demand that Hamas release the hostages still being held in Gaza, and do so before he is inaugurated on January 20, 2025, otherwise "there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East."

"Everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire World, in the Middle East - But it’s all talk, and no action!" Trump's post began. "Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity," his post continued.

His post concluded by stressing an urgent need for the hostages to be released and also threatened further retribution. "Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!" Jonathan Turley Has a Lot to Say About Hunter Biden's Pardon
Mia Cathell / Townhall Tipsheet

Legal analyst Jonathan Turley has weighed in on President Joe Biden pardoning his son, Hunter, after promising the American people he wouldn't.

In a scathing column posted Monday morning for Fox News, Turley said that by doing so, Biden set a standard that's not merely a new low reached but a "subterraneous" precedent for future presidents.

On Sunday night, Biden announced he's handing Hunter a Get-Out-of-Jail-Free card for his convicted felonies and any crimes he may have committed over a 10-year period from January 1, 2014, to December 1, 2024, covering anything from the mundane to murder.

Now, a decade's worth of wrongdoing is being buried under "a sweeping pardon and a pack of presidential lies," Turley wrote, cementing the lame-duck president's legacy as a "liar-in-chief."
