Op-ed:
Overtly Biased Hate

As the prime minister of Israel, I reject with disgust the Hague prosecutor's comparison between democratic Israel and the mass murderers of Hamas.”
- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on hearing the International Criminal Court’s (ICC)* decision to pursue arrest warrants against him and his Defense Minister Yoav Gallant

Fact 1: Israel did not start the war it now finds itself in nor did they deliberately target civilians in this nor any war they have fought, for Israel is the only country that not only warns enemy civilians to get out of harms way, but gives them time to do so. The sum of Palestinian civilians only became leftist deemed Israeli targets in an attempt to hide the fact that Hamas itself has not only caused many Palestinian deaths by cowardly using their own people as human shields in an attempt to save their own miserable lives, but that the number of Palestinians supporting Hamas greatly outnumbers those who do not.

Fact 2: It was actually Hamas not Israel who has committed “war crimes” by their purposely targeting Israeli civilians for death; murdering entire families; burning people alive; gang raping women; beheading men; committing sexual and other forms of bodily mutilation; and yes...by cooking a baby to death in a Kibbutz oven while forcing the baby's mother to watch.

Fact 3: Joe Biden, in a desperate attempt to bolster his sagging poll numbers, has been playing both sides against the middle in a dangerous game of deception as he not only panders for the Jewish vote via his recent condemning of the ICC's actions taken against Netanyahu, but he does so while anti-Israel protests continue on unabated in hopes of garnering the anti-Israel, pro-Hamas, pro-Palestinian vote as well.

Fact 4: if Joe Biden had stood strong and united with our ally Israel from October 7th on, and did not throw numerous obstacles in her way, the Israel/Hamas War might well have ended fairly quickly with Hamas being the ones wiped off the face of the map...something I'm sure the sum total of the world's civilized nations would gladly applaud.

Fact 5: the Jewish State of Israel is now bearing witness to the “Nuremberg Trials” in reverse, so to speak, as the ICC prosecutor sees Israel as the war's perpetrator courtesy of his accepting as truth not only the rantings and ravings of Soros bought and paid for anti-Israel/pro-Hamas protesters and instigators...but by his accepting as fact the now proven to be overinflated Palestinian civilian casualty numbers issued by Hamas.

Five clearly stated facts, and yet Karim A.A. Khan...the ICC's chief prosecutor...continues on his quest to both defame Israel and find her leaders guilty in what is a court of anything but justice.

And while Khan has also applied for arrest warrants to be issued for but three of Hamas' top leaders...Hamas chief Yahya Sinwa, (who still is believed to be hiding underground in the tunnels under Gaza); Mohammed Al-Masri, the commander-in-chief of the military wing of Hamas; and one Ismail Haniyeh, head of Hamas’ Political Bureau...he still believes it's Netanyahu and Gallant alone who must “bear responsibility” for numerous war crimes having been committed. In other words, Khan is now putting Benjamin Netanyahu...who rightfully vowed to “overthrow the evil rule of Hamas and achieve complete victory”...on the same level as those who not only do not value human life, but those who see the blood on their hands as but a way to gain more favor with allah.

Warning: the video below contains content that might be upsetting to some.

It's obvious that this man cares nothing about the brutal and barbaric atrocities committed by Hamas on innocent Israeli civilian men, women, and children, for he chooses instead to focus on what is Israel's rightful and unrelenting retaliation on Gaza. Simply, Hamas itself...along with the majority of Palestinians who still condone, herald, and support their actions...is in some ways even worse than ISIS. And while Israel's goal remains to stop Hamas from ever again doing to Israel what happened on October 7th, what's even sadder about Khan's actions is that even in his request for said warrants it proves that neither he nor a multitude of others have learned a damn thing from the nightmare that was September 11th nor do they care to.

Folks like Khan know well that in war blood does tend to flow freely as the very nature of war itself dictates such happenings. But now with his, on behalf of the ICC, claiming that Israel is using starvation as warfare ...when actually Hamas is stealing aid shipments for themselves and/or selling its contents on the black market...and that Israel is willfully causing suffering to civilians; with Netanyahu's intentionally attacking and directing attacks against civilians in the guise of hoped for Gazan extermination, persecution,” along with “other inhumane acts”..acts he refuses to name...Karim Khan has indeed lost all sense of both reality and truth.

And with his words that, “Israel has intentionally and systematically deprived the civilian population in all parts of Gaza of objects indispensable to human survival,” what Khan ignores is the fact that Hamas denied over 1,200 Israeli civilians their right to life. And his claiming that he has “reasonable grounds” to believe that it's Netanyahu and Gallant who must bear “criminal responsibility” for “war crimes and crimes against humanity,” what Khan has left out of his distorted discourse is that he never stated exactly from where, whom, and when he garnered the information that became his anything but, supposed reality based, “reasonable grounds.”

But reality in the case of Israel tends to see the Jewish State as a pariah circling in a sea of anything but innocent goldfish. Case in point, before Karim Khan applied for the issuing of Netanyahu's and Gallant's arrest warrants, the International Court of Justice (ICJ)**... the same court that ruled that Israel must “immediately halt” its military offensive in Rafah...also issued an interim judgment finding that the Palestinians have “plausible” rights to protection from “genocide.” How laughable is that when the so-called Palestinians have joined with Hamas, Iran, and other assorted nasties in hoping to see Israel wiped from the face of the map. In fact, not only have many textbooks used in Middle East schools...including some in Gaza...eliminated Israel from their maps, but the genocidal chant “from the river to the sea” has become the Palestinians and their supporters “calling card,” if you will.

No protection from “genocide” for the Jewish State, but protection only for those who wish Israel and the Jewish people harm. A double standard indeed, and that's why Khan's and the ICC's warrants are laughable at best, especially when their main focus is targeted on Netanyahu and not on Hamas' leaders.

So where exactly do we, the U.S., stand in regards to the arrest warrants? First, know that 124 countries*** have signed onto the ICC (governed by an international treaty known as the Rome Statute )...the U.S. and Israel while signing said treaty have yet to still ratify it. However, the ICC did admit the Palestinian territories...note “territories not country...in 2015, and Khan says this now gives his office jurisdiction over all the events since October 7th. And second, this means that those 124 countries would be “duty-bound” to arrest Netanyahu and Gallant if the warrants were to be issued. And again as I write this, Khan's application for the arrest warrants still remains with a panel of ICC judges who have yet to issue their decision.

And if the ICC judges rule to allow said warrants to be issued that puts some countries in a quandary, most especially Germany...who is a supplier of arms to Israel...and Italy, two of Israel's staunchest supporters. However, even though France and Belgium have both experienced a dramatic rise in antisemitic incidents since the happenings of October 7th, they...not so surprisingly...have already issued statements in support of the ICC‘s requests for Netanyahu’s and Gallant's arrest warrants.

And what did Biden have to say when hearing of these arrest warrants? While he rightfully called Karim Khan's targeting of Israeli officials “outrageous”...of course not mentioning Netanyahu by name...and said there is no equivalence between Hamas and Israel, those words probably were said with fingers crossed behind his back. And while Secretary of State Anthony Blinken did say that the Biden administration is willing to work with Congress to “potentially” impose sanctions on certain ICC officials, it was House Speaker Mike Johnson, who not only called the ICC's request for said warrants a “baseless and illegitimate decision that should face global condemnation,” but he recently told reporters that details regarding sanctions are “still being worked out,” but that he hopes to move it forward “as quickly as possible.”

That is unless Biden were to veto it...always a possibility when one's strings are being pulled to play both sides against the middle.

And while a veto could happen, surprisingly there is bipartisan criticism of the ICC's actions including from, of all people, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries who stated that the arrest warrant request “goes against democratically elected members of the Israeli government, and is shameful and unserious. America’s commitment to Israel’s security is ironclad.”

Even President Trump's political allies had strong words to say about this overt miscarriage of justice. And it came courtesy of his former top foreign policy adviser Robert O'Brien who, along with former U.S. ambassador to the UAE John Rakolta; and former U.S. ambassador to Switzerland, Ed McMullen; met in Israel with Prime Minister Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, War Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz, and President Issac Herzog, and released a joint statement saying that, “the US could sanction the bank accounts and travel and can put visa restrictions on the "corrupt" prosecutors and judges of the ICC.”

Corrupt prosecutors and judges” indeed for the ICC's international jurisdiction, which claims to only “reach out” for criminals hiding behind the veil of sovereignty, does threaten our and other country's national sovereignty. How so? While some say that the ICC does nothing more than what each and every country can already do under what are existing international laws, the flip side is the fact that the ICC imposes certain restrictions and limits of its own on a given country's authority while competing with that country in the exercise of authority. Again, how so...simply by monitoring what they consider to be human rights violations within a given country and then bringing those they believe to be involved to trial via the issuing of “arrest warrants.”

Simply, becoming or already being a member of the ICC does involve a certain sacrifice of ones national sovereignty. How so...because it allows ICC prosecutors to issue arrest warrants for any country's leader who they, and the ICC, believes has refused or fails to use its own already in place national criminal justice system to deal with those deemed to have committed crimes against humanity.

And while we know that it was Hamas alone who committed crimes against humanity, this still brings us back full circle to Special Prosecutor Khan and his hoped for warrants being issued for the arrest of Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant. Remember, neither he nor the ICC is even trying to hide whose side they're on as the warrants for Hamas' leaders are barely even part of their public discourse.

I believe Benjamin Netanyahu said it best when stating that the “absurd and false warrant of the prosecutor in The Hague is not only directed against the Prime Minister of Israel and the Minister of Defense – it is directed against the entire State of Israel.” And here might I add the sum total of Jewish people everywhere as well, for they continue...almost on a daily basis...to bear witness to overt acts of antisemitism overtaking reality, truth, and common sense. Case closed.
