How the muzzies will deliver 'the bomb'...

A papyrus fragment referring to the wife of Jesus is likely authentic, scientists believe.

An article published Thursday in the Harvard Theological Review said scientists at three universities who analyzed the fragment, called the Gospel of Jesus’ Wife, reported that it resembles other ancient papyrus documents from the fourth century to the eighth century.

The journal also published a peer-reviewed paper on Thursday by Harvard  historian Karen L. King, who discovered the fragment, and a rebuttal by Leo Depuydt, a professor of Egyptology at Brown University, who believes it is a fake.

The  fragment, which was brought to light in 2012, says “Jesus said to them, ‘My wife …,’ ” as well as the words “she will be able to be my disciple.” It opened a contentious debate in the Catholic Church on whether women can serve as priests.
At the end of the day, we all want Americans to have access to affordable, quality healthcare, but Obamacare is the wrong path to get to that goal.

As we begin to review the qualifications and record of President Obama’s new nominee to become HHS Secretary, Sylvia Mathews Burwell, current director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), will have to answer a number of very important questions during her upcoming confirmation hearings before both the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee and the Senate Finance Committee. And while Ms. Burwell was unanimously confirmed to become OMB director, running OMB is vastly different from being HHS Secretary. Frankly, our current state in healthcare demonstrates a complete need to start over—it is unclear whether Ms. Burwell or anyone else could clean up the Obamacare shambles.

Obamacare’s soaring premiums, lost coverage, and the questionable sign up numbers have all become familiar since the law’s enactment. Families and young adults are routinely being priced out of the market, hourly workers are seeing their workweek slashed, and individuals are losing access to a doctor in their community. We know now the promise that if you liked your healthcare, you could keep it turned out not to be true, and even after sinking $1.4 trillion dollars into this program over the next 10 years, there will still be 31 million uninsured Americans.

Throughout this mess, my position has remained clear—I am in favor of a complete repeal of the Affordable Care Act. My voting record speaks for itself and I am proud of my position. I fully believe that the free market has the solutions that we need to help more Americans gain access to healthcare, and the last thing our economy needs is a more intrusive and controlling federal government.

Many on the left, including President Obama, have said there is no alternative to Obamacare. I am here to tell you that isn’t the case. Among the alternatives is the Patient Choice, Affordability, Responsibility, and Empowerment (CARE) Act by my colleagues Senators Burr, Coburn, and Hatch.

Their ideas provide a conservative framework of guiding principles for making healthcare work for people—beginning with repealing Obamacare.

The CARE Act combines commonsense free market ideas, including giving small businesses more purchasing power, allowing more competition across state lines, increasing medical price transparency, and medical malpractice reform in order not only to expand healthcare access, but also to address the underlying causes of increasing medical costs.

At this point, $6.9 billion taxpayer dollars have been spent on the healthcare law, and no one, not the White House, HHS, or the members of Congress who voted for the bill, seem to have a clear idea where all of our money has gone. A full $2 billion has been spent just on efforts to “boost” enrollment and on Healthcare.gov. Of all this, not a single dollar has actually reached a doctor.

Obamacare seeks to make sure everyone has health insurance, though 31 million Americans are projected remain uninsured in 2024, but the negative side effects are huge, and there are a lot of aspects of the problem that it doesn’t address—specifically access to medical care, medical costs, and the formulas we’re using to pay for healthcare.

Healthcare should work for people, not politicians. I have and will consistently oppose Obamacare in my efforts to relieve the American people of the burden this bad law has imposed—for our families, our small businesses, our seniors, and our communities.
As those of you who follow my hate mail know, I am opposed to running untested candidates against perfectly good incumbent Republican senators this election cycle. It will be a long time before Republicans have as good a year as this to win a Senate majority.

Unfortunately, we have idiots doing the idiot thing, pretending to be "tea partiers," while challenging sitting Republican senators over fairly minor ideological differences.

Anyone opposing an incumbent Republican for any reason other than amnesty is a fraud or an idiot.

Right now, immigration and Obamacare are the only things that matter. Since every Republican voted against Obamacare, that leaves only immigration.

Conservatives who ignore amnesty while carping about the debt ceiling, TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program), the Internet tax bill or Benghazi are too stupid to help their country.

Suppose the Senate had passed a bill that would cut Texas out of the Union? Would that get your attention, fake tea partiers? Without Texas, Republicans would immediately lose 38 electoral votes, two senators and 24 members of Congress. (Democrats would lose only 12 House members.)

How would you rate the prospect of repealing Obamacare if Republicans could: never win another presidential election; never win another majority in the House; and never again win a Senate majority? Oh, and how does the expression "President Nancy Pelosi" grab you?

Would that bill be slightly more important to you than the Internet tax bill?

Well, guess what? Amnesty will produce the exact same result as losing the entire state of Texas. In fact, merely continuing our current immigration policies will achieve the same result; it will just take a little longer. (But wow, I'm sure glad we got "Octomom"! What a boon she's been to our American way of life.)

The population of Texas is about 27 million. With amnestied illegal aliens allowed to bring in their cousins and brothers-in-law under our insane "family reunification" policies, the 12 million illegal immigrants already here will quickly balloon to 30 million new voters -- who happen to break 8-to-2 for the Democrats.

Consequently, before running off and staging a primary fight against a sitting Republican, anyone who truly loved his country would ask himself the following three questions:

(1) Does the incumbent Republican support amnesty? And by the way, "Supports amnesty" includes anyone who says one of the following:

-- "We already have de facto amnesty"
-- "What are you going to do -- round up 12 million illegals?"
-- "They're doing jobs American just won't do," or
-- "Our housekeeper, Lupe, is like family."

(2) Is a primary challenge unlikely to flip a Republican seat to the Democrats?

(3) Am I fairly certain the challenger is smart enough to avoid the (apparently) rocky shoals of being asked about abortion in the case of rape?

Vice-President Biden on Boston jihad bombing: “…it was worth it”

Biden’s speech at the Boston Marathon Memorial .. Skip to the 0:54 mark to hear the pro-jihadi comment. Click on link to hear Biden's comment: http://pamelageller.com/2014/04/vice-president-biden-boston-jihad-bombing-worth.html/

Yesterday, I called out Obama  and his administration for their silly, empty rhetoric and craven capitulation on the first anniversary of the Boston jihad bombing by refusing to name or discuss the motive and ideology behind the attack. Every time I hear “Boston Strong,” I cringe. Sorry, but this defeatism and fear is anything but strong. Refusal to name the enemy is anything but strong. Daring not to speak its name is not strong. It’s surrender.

I had called Biden out on his nonsensical blather, “We are America, we own the finish line.” They bombed the finish line, Joe. But I had not seen this.

America, elected this clown and his jihadophliac boss. Imagine if a Republican ever uttered such words. But it’s a Democrat, so the enemedia doesn’t even cover it. Doesn’t. cover. it.

It was worth it? Tell it to the little dead boy.
Biden

An estimated 3,000 people attended the Boston Marathon Memorial today, including survivors, family of the three people that lost their lives, and first responders. Several people spoke at the memorial ceremony, including former Boston Mayor Tom Menino, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, and Vice President Joe Biden.
When it was Biden’s turn to speak, he told the crowd, “Even though I’m not a Boston fan, I love you guys, man.” No problem there, but then the vice president followed that up with telling the survivors, “My God, you have survived and you have soared…it was worth it. I mean this sincerely, just to hear each of you speak.” The “it was worth it” remark there sparked confusion and outrage on Twitter.

Report: Emails Show Justice Dept. Involved in IRS Tea Party Probe
By Todd Beamon

 / Newsmax
Image: Report: Emails Show Justice Dept. Involved in IRS Tea Party ProbeEmbattled former IRS official Lois Lerner last year discussed working with the Justice Department to prosecute nonprofit organizations that she felt had "lied" about their political activities, according to new documents released on Wednesday by Judicial Watch about the agency's targeting of conservative groups.

The new documents show Lerner's communications with Justice within days of publicly acknowledging that the Internal Revenue Service was singling out tea party, conservative, and religious groups.

They also indicate that the targeting may have reached further into the Obama White House despite Lerner's original assertions that it was all based out of the agency's Cincinnati field office.

In a May 8 email, for instance, Lerner said that she had received a call from Richard Pilger, director of the elections crimes unit at Justice.

Pilger asked whether the IRS could help the department "piece together false statement cases about applicants who 'lied'" on a particular IRS form, "saying they weren’t planning on doing political activity, and then turning around and making large visible political expenditures.

"DOJ is feeling like it needs to respond, but want to talk to the right folks at IRS to see whether there are impediments from our side and what, if any damage this might do to IRS programs," Lerner said in the email.

"I told him that sounded like we might need several folks from IRS…," she said.

Lerner wrote the email to Nikole Flax, who was chief of staff at the time to Steven Miller, who was the acting IRS commissioner.

She responded in an email the next day: "I think we should do it -- also need to include CI [Criminal Investigation Division], which we can help coordinate. Also, we need to reach out to [Federal Election Commission]. Does it make sense to consider including them in this or keep it separate?"

Lerner, who retired last September, oversaw the unit that evaluated applications for tax-exempt status. Miller was fired because of the scandal, and Flax has reportedly been targeted by congressional investigators.

Judicial Watch said on Wednesday that it had obtained the emails through a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed last October. The watchdog group has sought documents showing how the IRS had targeted the groups between 2010 and the 2012 presidential election.

Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit after the IRS failed to respond to four FOIA requests dating back to last May.

"These new emails show that the day before she broke the news of the IRS scandal, Lois Lerner was talking to a top Obama Justice Department official about whether the DOJ could prosecute the very same organizations that the IRS had already improperly targeted," Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement. "The IRS emails show Eric Holder’s Department of Justice is now implicated and conflicted in the IRS scandal."

Rep. Darrell Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee that has been investigating the scandal, said the new emails underscored "the political nature of IRS tea party targeting and the extent to which supposed apolitical officials took direction from elected Democrats.

"These e-mails are part of an overwhelming body of evidence that political pressure from prominent Democrats led to the targeting of Americans for their political beliefs," the California Republican said in a statement.

"Now I see why the IRS is scared to give up the rest of Lois Lerner's emails,” Ohio GOP Rep. Jim Jordan said in a statement.

The documents "further prove the coordination among the IRS, the Federal Election Commission, the Justice Department and committee Democrats to target conservatives," he said.

Jordan added that had the oversight panel not become involved, "Eric Holder’s politicized Justice Department would likely have been leveling trumped-up criminal charges against tea party groups to intimidate them from exercising their Constitutional rights."

President Barack Obama has denied GOP charges that the targeting of the groups was politically motivated or illegal, telling Fox News in February that "not even a smidgen of corruption" was involved in the specialized screening.

In addition, emails Issa's panel released last week showed that staff members of the oversight committee's ranking Democrat, Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, had shared information with the IRS that effectively led the agency to investigate True the Vote after the group filed its application for tax-exempt status in 2010.

Cummings did not disclose any of those dealings with oversight committee Republicans, Issa charged.

In a March 27 email, Lerner told IRS staffers about an April 9 2013, hearing — and the document also suggests that the other Obama administration departments might have been targeting the conservative groups.

The tax-exempt status the groups were seeking was 501(c)(4), which allows them to keep their donors private.

"There are several groups of folks from the FEC world that are pushing tax fraud prosecution for c4s who report they are not conducting political activity when they are (or these folks think they are)," Lerner wrote in the email.

"One is my ex-boss Larry Noble (former general counsel at the the FEC), who is now president of Americans for Campaign Reform," she added.

"This is their latest push to shut these down.

"One IRS prosecution would make an impact and they wouldn't feel so comfortable doing the stuff," Lerner said. "So, don't be fooled about how this is being articulated — it is ALL about 501(c)(4) orgs and political activity."

Lerner ignited the controversy last May when she disclosed the scandal in response to a question asked at a conference in Chicago.

Her response came just before the Treasury Department's inspector general released a report disclosing the targeting.

President Obama fired Miller — and at least three other IRS workers have been placed on put on administrative leave.

In testimony before the oversight committee, Lerner has twice invoked the Fifth Amendment, though she has denied wrongdoing. The panel voted last week to hold her in contempt for her refusals.

If the full House finds Lerner in contempt, the matter would be referred to federal prosecutors.

Op-ed:
Putin gains by Obama's inactions
By: Diane Sori

“You can’t send in tanks and at the same time hold talks. The use of force would sabotage the opportunity offered by the four-party negotiations in Geneva.”
- Ukrainian foreign minister Andriy Deshchytsya

Point blank...Ukraine is on the brink of war...and while Vladimir Putin and his Russian forces are the aggressors...Barack HUSSEIN Obama is a willing participant in that aggression by his very inactions.

And as America's allies throughout Eastern and Central Europe worry about their future sovereignty because of Obama's inactions, Putin sends unmarked special forces into Ukraine. And he does so at the same time he accuses the Ukrainian government of pursuing an "anti-constitutional" path by using force against the pro-Russian demonstrators.

Now once again as the memory of our wondrous leader sitting back and doing NOTHING when the Iranian students protested against their dictatorial islamic regime starts to surface, Obama's inactions in regards to Ukraine further denigrates our great nation in the eyes of the world.

And as Obama looks away as pro-Russian separatists raise the Russian flag on Ukrainian army armored vehicles in eastern Ukraine, the Ukrainian defense ministry issued a statement saying that the troop carriers now in Slovyansk, are guarded by "people in uniforms who have no relation to Ukraine's armed forces."

Simply...WAR has 'unofficially' been declared on Ukraine as Barack HUSSEIN Obama outright ignores this escalating and dangerous situation...ignores it as an international crisis grows for Obama has made it clear that he is NOT willing to take America to war...NOT over Ukraine anyway. The man who will send troops, weapons, and our taxpayer dollars when his muslim brethren are in 'supposed' trouble has turned his back on a nation wanting to become part of the European Union... turned his back on a nation wanting democracy and freedom.

Par for the Obama course I'd say.

And what is Putin doing as Obama looks away...he's pushing the world towards something far more dangerous than just another Cold War...the man who called the break-up of the old Soviet Union the "greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the 20th century"...is starting on his quest to rebuild the old Russian Empire...the whole damn empire...one country at a time. And know that Vladimir Putin will NOT be happy with just Ukraine...he wants all the old Soviet Union satellites in his empire... just ask the 59% of the Polish people who believe Putin's Russia is threatening their national security as they further integrate with Europe.

And all this because of Ukraine's wanting to follow Poland's lead and move towards the European model of economic and political competition and away from Russian-style communism. Putin knew he had to act and act now out of fear that this move by Ukraine would spread to Russia at some point. And so Putin believed Ukraine's baby steps towards freedom had to be “liquidated in its cradle.” Crushing the Ukrainian revolution by discrediting that very revolution in the hearts and minds of the Russian people, Putin is using the justification that what he is doing is bringing Ukraine back to the 'motherland' where he believes they rightfully belong.

But NO matter what thought process Putin uses in his wanting to redraw the Russian borders, it is indeed something that Obama should be concerned about... should be something that he must address if for NO other reason than Putin's expanding nuclear arsenal is on the ready while Obama continues to reduce ours. And with political instability engulfing the entire global front, Obama cannot allow Putin to run unchecked...as in it's time for Barack HUSSEIN Obama to put on his 'big boy' pants... that is if he has any...and be the very catalyst to put a stop to this.

But sadly we know he won't.

And addressing Putin's aggression does NOT mean adding even more useless sanctions into the mix for sanctions have long proven to be NOTHING but actions that encourage defiance. And Obama's freezing the bank accounts of roughly two dozen of Putin's banking and oil buddies just feeds even more into Putin’s ambitions...and with us having little trade with Russia to use as a bargaining chip, Putin in all reality is freely running around unchecked.

Russia also has veto power at the U(seless) N(ations) that allows them to halt any proposed UN military action against them. So while NATO might continue to talk the talk of standing with Ukraine the truth is that they can only act up to a point. And with Obama NOT willing to consider military action and intervention on America's part...with Obama NOT willing to stand strong with our treaty allies...Obama has basically released the U.S. of responding to Russian aggression. Translation: for all intents and purposes, NATO has been rendered impotent as a military alliance... rendered impotent to militarily help Ukraine...or any other country for that matter.

And those very NATO allies are rightfully worried the U.S. won't be there for them if Putin continues his nation grabbing. Even Saudi Arabia worries that Obama's inactions will spread to their part of the world as it seems that Obama is more than willing to allow Iran to become a nuclear power and to control the game in Syria. Also, the Israeli Defense Minister recently stated that Israel can NO longer rely on the U.S. to deal with Iran...to deal with the Palestinians...to deal with anything involving the Jewish state.

So as Vladimir Putin warns Ukraine that it could NOT sustain an armored offensive in its eastern region, talks on defusing the situation are due to start in Geneva, Switzerland on Thursday, and the European Union and the U.S. will take part in those talks. Let's just hope that John 'Swiftboat' Kerry does NOT take part in them for we all know how well his intervention in the Israeli/Palestinian affair turned out...and like his boss Barack HUSSEIN Obama, Kerry is NO match for the likes of Vladimir Putin...NO match at all.
