ABC  A video has surfaced online that appears to show the beheading of British captive Alan Henningby a purported member of the terror group ISIS, who then threatens the life of an American hostage.

 

“I am Alan Henning. Because of our Parliament’s decision to attack the Islamic State [ISIS], I, as a member of the British public, will now pay the price for that decision,” Henning says in the video, before his apparent executioner speaks.

 

“The blood of [fellow slain captive] David Haines was on your hands, [British Prime Minister David] Cameron,” the black clad militant says. “Alan Henning will also be slaughtered but his blood is on the hands of the British Parliament.”

 

Henning then appears to be killed. A quick edit follows and the executioner, apparently the same one as in the other videos, speaks. “The blood of David Haines was on your hand, Cameron. Alan Henning will also be slaughtered, but his blood is on the hands of British parliament.” The executioner then begins to saw at Henning’s neck as the video fades to black. The next image shows Henning’s dead body, with his severed head resting on his torso. 

 

 

Near the end of the video another hostage is seen alive, identified as an American, as the militant says it’s right that his group targets Americans as the U.S. continues its aerial bombardment of ISIS targets.

 

“Obama, you have started your Arab bombardment… It’s only right that we continue to strike the next of your people,” the executioner says at the video’s end as a man, identified in the video as Peter Edward Kassig, an American, sits on his knees.

An image shot by a WFAA News chopper shows unprotected workers cleaning up the sidewalk outside an apartment block in Dallas where Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan vomited before he was bundled into an ambulance.

The photograph shows a cleaning crew wearing no protective clothing or face masks whatsoever as they appear to be pressure washing the sidewalk in the general area where Duncan vomited. 

“His whole family was screaming. He got outside and he was throwing up all over the place,” resident Mesud Osmanovic told NBC News.

 

The incident was witnessed two days after Duncan had already been turned away by the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital. 

Given the fact that Ebola spreads through contact with bodily fluids, the lack of protective gear and the carefree way the workers appear to be cleaning up the area where Duncan vomited is astounding.

Several health experts have also expressed concerns that Ebola could have gone airborne, at least to a limited extent. 

As we reported earlier today, professors at the University of Illinois have warned that US health professionals currently tackling Ebola are being put at risk because of the failure to offer them proper “respiratory protection,” making reference to hundreds of fatalities of Ebola health workers in West Africa due to facemasks or surgical masks which offer “very minimal protection from infectious aerosol particles.”

WASHINGTON - The painful, underperforming Obama economy remains Topic A here in the nation's capital and across the country.

Pre-midterm election polls show that the voters are just as unhappy as ever over President Obama's mismanaged handling of the economic life of our nation, and Democrats are wringing their hands over expectations that it will cost them their congressional jobs on Nov. 4.

It's gotten so bad that even some members of the liberal news media have become a great deal more critical of an economy that one analyst said "simply isn't as healthy as the headline numbers suggest."

Even former President Bill Clinton, the man who will be choreographing Hillary Clinton's 2016 White House bid, is calling for cutting corporate tax rates as part of a sweeping overhaul of the tax code.

The pro-business U.S. Chamber of Congress ran a full page ad in the Washington Post Thursday with this quote from Clinton emblazoned across the top: "America has to face the fact that we have not reformed our corporate tax laws when 100% of the people, from Democrats, Republicans, Independents, agree we need to… We have the highest overall corporate tax rates in the world. We need tax reform."

Well, Bill, not all Democrats would agree with that. Ever since he took office, Obama's been pushing to raise taxes on businesses, and has never really warmed to the idea of any reforms that would lower rates. Democratic leaders in Congress have been downright hostile to the idea.

The result has not only been tax reform gridlock, but a chronically weak, lackluster economy held back by anti-investment, anti-growth and anti-job tax policies.

This doesn't get reported on the nightly news where its highly paid anchors have simply ignored these issues. But long-suffering, underpaid and jobless Americans are fed up with Obama and his party, are ready to strike back with vengeance in the midterm elections.

And the polls say voters now trust the Republicans on the economy more than they do the Democrats.

Can We End the Crazy Diversity Visa Lottery Yet?

Ebola has reached our shores from Africa. Dozens of children are reportedly suffering paralysis from a deadly virus with unknown origins. Medical providers across the country have warned of a looming public health crisis as communicable diseases spread unmonitored and uncontrolled. Other countries are cracking down.

But America is stuck on open-borders stupid.

The Diversity Visa (DV) program, to take just one glaring example of government insanity, is still going.

On October 1, the State Department opened the annual DV random lottery to applicants from around the world. Yes, it's completely random like a Powerball drawing. Up to 55,000 lucky winners will snag permanent residency visas (green cards), which put them on the path to American citizenship ahead of millions of other foreigners patiently waiting to come to this country.

The green card lotto winners' spouses and unmarried children under 21 all get golden tickets into the country, too, no matter where they were born.

Illegal aliens are eligible if a legal family member wins the jackpot. Applicants don't even need a high school education. No outstanding abilities, training or job skills are necessary. A handful of countries are excluded if they no longer qualify as "underrepresented." But if you come from a terror-sponsoring or terror-friendly nation -- such as Iran, Syria, Sudan, North Korea and more than a dozen officially designated terror enablers on the State Department's list -- no worries. Thousands from these breeding grounds for jihad will walk through our front doors.

This is what happens when bipartisan panderers in Washington get their way. The visa lottery was championed by left-wing social engineer Sen. Ted Kennedy and signed into law by President George H. W. Bush in 1990 to admit more "underrepresented" immigrant minorities into the U.S. Although originally intended to give a leg up to Irish illegal aliens who had overstayed their visas, most of the winners now hail from non-Western terror hot spots and hostile territories.

You know who else will get in? Untold numbers of "diversity" petitioners from Liberia, Sierra Leone and other West African countries where the Ebola virus is epidemic. If you think the feds will ensure that foreign visa-seekers with communicable diseases stay out, think again. The State Department now allows applicants with HIV to apply and enter. Those who suffer from tuberculosis, leprosy or other afflictions "of public health significance" can apply for waivers.

Reports indicate that before his departure from Liberia to Texas last week, Ebola carrier Thomas Duncan lied at the airport about being in contact with someone exposed to the disease. So far, the White House refuses to impose any travel restrictions from West Africa. It's also not clear whether the U.S. has re-screened West Africans who won last year's DV game and are flying into the country now.

As I've reported for the past 12 years, enforcement and screening procedures are shoddy. The General Accounting Office deemed the DV program a national security risk in 2008, while State Department and Homeland Security officials blamed each other for reckless incompetence.

"Consular officers at six of the posts reviewed -- Accra (Ghana), Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Dhaka (Bangladesh), Kathmandu (Nepal), Lagos (Nigeria) and Warsaw (Poland) -- reported that the availability of fake documents, or genuine documents with false information, such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, and passports, presented significant challenges when verifying DV applicants' identities and the relationship between the principle DV applicants and their spouse and dependents," the GAO reported.

The Diversity Visa lottery program is a public health hazard and a national security risk that leaves our safety to random chance. But pleas to curtail or end the program since the 9/11 attacks have fallen on deaf ears.

In the wake of the Ebola scare (not to mention renewed jihadi threats from abroad), worried Americans are heading to the drugstore to stock up on facemasks, hand sanitizer and gloves. New vaccines are in the works for emerging global contagions.

Unfortunately, there is no antidote for our government's blind and deadly diversity worship. Political correctness is a plague on us all.

• In July 2013, 22 employees of Al Jazeera resigned after the station “air[ed] lies and misle[d] viewers” (according to Al Jazeera correspondent) regarding the Egyptian revolution on July 4, which ousted Muslim Brotherhood president Mohamed Morsi.
• Al Jazeera is home to the Muslim Brotherhood’s spiritual leader (and Morsi-backer) Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who reaches an estimated 80 million viewers each week.
• Harvard Law School is engaged in a multi-year partnership with Hamad bin Khalifa University to host the Institute for Global Law and Policy. In 2013, this workshop welcomed 140 participants.

The perfect ISIS WMD? Muslim in a burqa infected with Ebola

Allegedly, ISIS will try to send Muslims infected with Ebola into America to infect and kill Americans. ISIS threatened the United States, and its allies to spread the Ebola virus, within those states, if they continue to wage war on the Islamic State’s growing caliphate inside Syria and Iraq.

Shoebat (h/t Mike F)  ISIS explained that among the viruses that its members can “synthesize and produce” are “Ebola and Corona”. ISIS also said, 

followers and soldiers of the Islamic State are mostly suicide bombers and all of them are ready not only to carry Ebola, but to drink Ebola if they were asked to carry and spread it in the United States. This is not difficult but we need a decision from the leaders jihadist.

Ebola could easily be transmitted through bodily fluids, including sweat, tears, saliva, blood, urine, semen, etc., including objects that have come in contact with bodily fluids (such as bed sheets, clothing, and needles) and corpses.

It is said that “this disease will go airborne, and there are many other mechanisms through which mutation might make it much more transmissible.”

The statement from ISIS said that:

the process of spreading disease is not difficult, it is easily transported in a bottle in your bag and take them from Africa to America and open in a air-conditioning duct or put it in the public drinking water by elevator doors

The statement from ISIS also said:

the process of cultivating bacteria can be done by any student in the Faculty of Science or Department of Biology. They do not need complex laboratories and even a makeshift laboratory can be made in a small apartment in which we can farm millions of germs and viruses.

However, Jack Chow, service professor of global health at Carnegie Mellon University, says that by the time a would be martyr came to America, the symptoms of ebola would be conspicuously displayed on his person, and he would be too sick to get passed customs. 

 

But, this does not mean ISIS cannot use animals, especially bats, to carry ebola into America. Bats in particular are effective carriers of ebola and could be easily utilized to transport ebola.

Muslims could also contract ebola during the annual Hajj which is suppose to be starting soon, in which millions of Muslims will gather together in Mecca. Saudi Arabian authorities have stepped up safety and security measures, and there is a long list of troubles they hope to avoid: crime, fire, stampedes, and the spread of infectious disease.

 

THE HAJJ – a virtual stampede of potential Ebola carriers

This year’s Hajj is shadowed by both the terrorist threat posed by Islamic State (IS) jihadists and the possible ebola contagion. Over 98,000 have been prevented from entering by Saudi authorities for security reasons or due to a lack of authorization. Massive preventative measures have been taken by Saudi Arabia.

 

New estimates by the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are warning that the number of Ebola cases could soar dramatically in the weeks and months ahead. The CDC says that unless efforts to curb the outbreak are ramped up significantly and quickly, the disease could infect up to 1.4 million people by mid-January in two nations, Sierra Leone and Liberia, alone.

Trust the IRS to compromise the security of your private data

When the IRS has to respond to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests (don’t laugh; apparently they only stonewall some of the time), anything in the released documents that can be traced back to a private taxpayer is supposed to be redacted.

But, according to an audit from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, that doesn’t always happen.

A Treasury IG’s report on the IRS’ compliance with FOIA requests released in September found that the agency “may be inadvertently disclosing taxpayer information” by failing to redact tax ID numbers and banking information, among other data, that can be tied to individual taxpayers.

Here’s the relevant portion of the IG report:

Those disclosures releasing sensitive taxpayer information are summarized as follows with some requests having more than one issue.

Seven occurrences which released Personally Identifiable Information that was outside the scope of what the requestor’s Power of Attorney or designated representative was authorized to receive.

Six occurrences which released Personally Identifiable Information of third-party taxpayers.

Two occurrences which treated taxpayer-related information (such as revenue agent reports, bank records, etc.) inconsistently by redacting information on some pages, and then releasing it on others.

In addition to Personally Identifiable Information, there was one occurrence in which a taxpayer’s Discriminant Function Score was released to the requestor as well.  This numerical score is given to tax returns based upon a computerized classification process that by IRS policy is for “official use only.”  The IRM specifies that release of this information could impair tax administration and should not be disclosed.

Office of Disclosure officials stated that these inadvertent disclosures could have resulted from several contributing factors, such as:

An oversight by the caseworker when completing the review of responsive records.

An oversight by management in the review of the case files.

While the report characterizes these failures as inadvertent, the IRS has a recent history of lapses that appear to favor government over citizens. 

“The new audit comes on the heels of revelations the IRS has intentionally disclosed information about some high-profile taxpayers — directly to the White House,” Watchdog.org noted in a recent story. 

“Although the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration launched an investigation into how the White House got that information, the report was never made public.”

Panetta Memoir: White House Too 'Eager to Rid Itself of Iraq'

President Barack Obama rejected multiple warnings that Iraq might slide back into anarchy and become a terrorist haven without a substantial U.S. troop force in place after 2011, Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta writes in his forthcoming memoir, "Worthy Fights."

In an excerpt published in Time, Panetta writes that he was among those arguing forcefully for some troops to remain to help protect gains that the U.S. had paid dearly for in eight years of fighting.

But he writes that "those on our side viewed the White House as so eager to rid itself of Iraq that it was willing to withdraw rather than lock in arrangements that would preserve our influence and interests."

The book expands on criticisms that Panetta, Obama's former secretary of defense and director of central intelligence, leveled at the president on "60 Minutes."

Many critics of the president's pullout have blamed it for the chaos engulfing Iraq today, with the radical Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, laying siege to that country as well as Syria.

"Worthy Fights," which goes on sale Tuesday, details the failure to get a status-of-forces deal that would have allowed a force to remain, and with immunity from prosecution by Iraqis.
"We had leverage," Panetta writes of the negotiations with Iraq's government, led by then-Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

"We could, for instance, have threatened to withdraw reconstruction aid to Iraq if al-Maliki would not support some sort of continued U.S. military presence," Panetta writes.

But with the December 2011 exit date approaching, Panetta writes that to his own "frustration," the White House didn't seem to have its heart in a troop deal with al-Maliki.

The White House "coordinated the negotiations but never really lead them," writes Panetta, adding that "without the Preisdent's active advocacy, al-Maliki was allowed to slip away."

The last U.S. troops left Iraq on Dec. 18, 2011, although some military advisers and Special Forces operatives have returned to coordinate U.S. airstrikes against ISIS and assist Iraqi ground forces.

"To this day," Panetta writes, "I believe that a small U.S. troop presence in Iraq could have effectively advised the Iraqi military on how to deal with al-Qaida’s resurgence and the sectarian violence that has engulfed the country."

Policy Failures and the Blame Game

What a leader this man is NOT...always telling us and the world what he and America won't do, won't say, and won't commit to...equating to policy failures on a grand scale. Ambiguous failures at best the party loyal hope, but more like deliberately planned failures concocted to 'aid and abet' the enemy if you ask me.

And the blame game...how this man loves to blame everybody but himself for his policy failures, and how he relishes in playing a game of subterfuge and lies.

Let's just touch upon two...one foreign and one domestic...of his most recent and ongoing policy failures. Gee...what to pick from as there are so many.

Let's start with Obama's current foreign policy failure...the failure known as ISIS... the now 'hot topic' de jour ever since the beheadings of American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff. NEVER caring about any of the previous beheadings of those opposed to ISIS...especially NOT caring about the many beheadings of Christians...Obama finally caved to political pressure from both parties, and to his tanking poll numbers being driven downward by his up this point NO action at all. But because those now beheaded where two of our own...with the key word being 'our' NOT his own...Obama had to scramble to save face...to do something to resurrect his popularity amongst his up to this point loyal Democratic base. And so he decided to take what 'We the People' refer to as the barbaric savages on...take them on 'Obama style' that is...as in do as little as possible by continuing the all for show but with NO substance, completely ineffective, 'limited' bombing runs.

'Limited' bombing runs into Syria where empty warehouses and long deserted terrorist training camps were targeted...'limited' bombing runs that do little to destroy or even slow down an enemy. But Obama knew this when choosing to bomb under the cover of night...where we couldn't see the absurdity in what he was doing...he knew this after announcing to the enemy...to the world...that bombings were on the way. In fact, from the time he informed the enemy that bombings would commence...and knowing that information would allow ISIS' warehouses to be emptied and training camps to be evacuated...ISIS terrorists started mixing in with the local population...hiding amongst civilians like the emasculated sniveling cowards they really are...saving themselves and their weapons caches while 'pin prick' strikes inflicted as little damage to ISIS...and the now suddenly in the forefront group known as Khorasan (actually al-Qaeda)...as they possibly could.

And Obama knew this all and just didn't care for his 'saving face' with his brethren... by means of said 'limited' bombing runs...translates into killing as few of America's enemy...again NOT his enemy...as humanly possible.

And when the empty warehouse and low body count information was found out... what does Obama do...true to form he blames others NOT just for this particular policy faux-pas, but because he had to pass blame for what he knew going in would be ineffective bombing raids...what he knew would just be a waste of our taxpayer dollars. Now passing the blame because he was 'caught' what better place to lay that blame than on the intelligence community who he claims both failed to sum up and present to him both the strength and reach of ISIS.

Liar...

Directly placing blame on National Intelligence Director General James Clapper... and know this man is NO innocent as he perjured himself about his involvement in the NSA spying on Americans scandal...Obama tried to deflect criticism off his own hoped to be passed off as mere incompetence...that in reality is cleverly and maliciously manipulated incompetence...in an effort to hide the fact that he still considers ISIS to be 'manageable' without the needing to be completely taken out. And so Obama cared little that ISIS was flexing its muscle...that ISIS had captured Fallujah, Ramadi, and Mosul...killing thousands as they did so. But hey, being that he didn't bother to attend 42% of the intel briefings where ISIS was discussed, his very inactions and laize-faire attitude has directly lead to ISIS gaining control of nearly half of Iraq. Iraq...the country that George W. Bush liberated by winning the war...the very country where Barack HUSSEIN Obama now and possibly forever lost the peace.

And adding to this deliberate policy failure and the passing of the blame is that we are now engaged in a war with Syria...a nation NOT at war with us...and Obama did this unilaterally without the Constitutionally needed Congressional 'Declaration of War.' And Obama knows damn well that all this causes division within the American voting ranks, allowing ISIS time to grow ever bolder and stronger...to allow ISIS time to move closer to its...and his...oh so-wanted islamic caliphate swallowing up the entire Middle East.

Now Obama's second policy failure and blame passing game is right here at home on our southern border...that is our open, unsecured, free-for-all southern border... where ILLEGALS keep crossing overburdening our outnumbered border patrols. ILLEGALS...the cause of Obama promising to use his pen and his phone to issue an Executive Order to grant amnesty for at least 6 million or more ILLEGALS already living in the U.S. Calculatingly delaying the EO until after the mid-term election because he needs to deflect the amnesty debate off Democrats in the weeks before said election...for Obama knows well that the majority of Americans are NOT in favor of amnesty of any kind. And Obama believes the delay will help make his immigration policies “sustainable” when they are announced and put into effect later this year.

And what is driving his amnesty lust for ILLEGALS already here and his refusing to stop...in fact to promote...the newest influx of ILLEGALS coming here from Central America...is really quite simple for he knows these poverty stricken people can easily be bought with handouts and freebies...raping our health care and welfare systems...in return for them becoming Democratic voters and loyalists for years if NOT generations to come. And Obama doesn't care at all that our children are now getting sick from the diseases their children are bringing in...probably hoping (I believe) that those diseases will somewhat 'cull the herd' of America's still predominately white population.

And with Obama's deliberate manipulation of the electorate with laws in place that protect young ILLEGALS against what would have once been immediate deportation...laws saying that unaccompanied children who come here ILLEGALLY from countries NOT contiguous (as in Mexico and Canada) with the U.S. cannot be sent back...this border mess has hardened...and rightly so...we conservative Americans against ILLEGALS. And NEVER forget that by the very nature of them coming here ILLEGALLY the ILLEGALS are actually criminals, and America by law does NOT have to accept criminals. But this president NOT only accepts them but encourages them to come here...welcomes them with open arms...our current immigration laws be damned.

But running fast and far from the ILLEGAL mess our country currently faces, Obama places blame for NOT only the border disaster itself, but for the ILLEGAL crisis in general on, of course, Republicans for NOT passing his comprehensive immigration reform. Blaming Republicans every chance he gets, Obama refuses to take responsibility for a mess of his own creation...a mess he created that he hopes will change both the racial and voting complexion of America forever.

And so these are but two of his numerous policy failures...one foreign and one domestic...but sadly know that as one somewhat pulls back from the public eye another rises to take its place...and right now can you say Ebola.
