US freed top Iranian nuke scientist as part of secret talks ahead of Geneva deal

From Jihad Watch / Posted by Robert Spencer

Mojtaba Atarodi "had been arrested in 2011 for attempting to acquire equipment that could be used for Iran’s military-nuclear programs." What could possibly go wrong?

"‘US freed top Iranian scientist as part of secret talks ahead of Geneva deal,’" by Mitch Ginsburg for the Times of Israel, November 29:
The secret back channel of negotiations between Iran and the United States, which led to this month’s interim deal in Geneva on Iran’s rogue nuclear program, has also seen a series of prisoner releases by both sides, which have played a central role in bridging the distance between the two nations, the Times of Israel has been told.
In the most dramatic of those releases, the US in April released a top Iranian scientist, Mojtaba Atarodi, who had been arrested in 2011 for attempting to acquire equipment that could be used for Iran’s military-nuclear programs.
American and Iranian officials have been meeting secretly in Oman on and off for years, according to a respected Israeli intelligence analyst, Ronen Solomon. And in the past three years as a consequence of those talks, Iran released three American prisoners, all via Oman, and the US responded in kind. Then, most critically, in April, when the back channel was reactivated in advance of the Geneva P5+1 meetings, the US released a fourth Iranian prisoner, high-ranking Iranian scientist Atarodi, who was arrested in California on charges that remain sealed but relate to his attempt to acquire what are known as dual-use technologies, or equipment that could be used for Iran’s military-nuclear programs. Iran has not reciprocated for that latest release.
Solomon, an independent intelligence analyst (who in 2009 revealed the crucial role played by German Federal Intelligence Service officer Gerhard Conrad in the negotiations that led to the 2011 Gilad Shalit Israel-Hamas prisoner deal), has been following the US-Iran meetings in Oman for years. Detailing what he termed the “unwritten prisoner exchange deals” agreed over the years in Oman by the US and Iran, Solomon told The Times of Israel that “It’s clear what the Iranians got” with the release of top scientist Atarodi in April. “What’s unclear is what the US got.”...
What a surprise.

Knocked Out: Is America Becoming South Africa?

by   / Personal Liberty Digest

“They’re right. All those people who say it’s our job to just sit and watch people die. They’re right.” — Spoken by Taylor Kitsch in the role of Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Kevin Carter in “The Bang Bang Club,” described by IMDB as “a drama based on the true-life experiences of four combat photographers capturing the final days of apartheid in South Africa”

There is a new game spreading across urban America, my friends, and you cannot buy it from Nintendo. It’s called the “Knockout Game.” Caution: If you lose, it could cost you your life. But don’t expect the liberal media to report it. You see, it is perpetrated by blacks against whites. That kind of news simply doesn’t wash, especially under the Presidency of Barack Obama.

Click to see 'Knockout Game' video:
http://personalliberty.com/2013/11/27/knocked-out-is-america-becoming-south-africa/

The game is not like chess. It comes down to human mechanics. Can a young man walk up on an unsuspecting stranger and knock him out cold with a single punch? It helps if the victim is old and an invalid. I am not sure whether there are bonus points for knocking out frail women over 70, but who knows?

Across New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia, black teens alone or in packs are being captured on video walking up to strangers on the street and sucker punching them as hard as they can. Robbery is not the motive — only a “clean” (think of the irony in that word) “knockout” of strangers whose only offence has been to walk down the street. The game has also been coined by inner city youths as “polar bear hunting” — a name that in itself indicates the color of the victims. The Knockout Game is becoming more popular and has spread to Illinois, Missouri and Massachusetts. Soon to be in a city near you?

News Blackout By The Liberal Media

I have not heard of such random and overt race violence since I spent time in South Africa at the very moment Nelson Mandela was being released from prison and the black majority was expecting him — a man who would not renounce violence — to ascend to the presidency of South Africa.

Fast-forward 23 years. In Brooklyn, the spread of gang violence has been captured over and over again. At least it has been recognized by Councilman David Greenfield, who said the victims rage in age between 12 and 78 years old. You don’t have to be an expert to figure that these teens prey upon people the way hyenas stalk the sick and weak gazelle.

At least New York is trying to protect its people with increased police presence and a new bill that would allow Knockout Game players to face up to 25 years in prison.

Yet don’t expect the mainstream media to report a word of it. They are too busy reporting on the latest happenings regarding George Zimmerman or any incident of white-on-black violence. News anchors like Anderson Cooper at CNN and others like Krystal Ball and Al Sharpton at MSNBC will never report such a story. Yet a few brave souls are willing to stand up to the liberals and their black agenda. That small group includes Greta Van Susteren, who wrote last week:
Do you know what is going on? That is young African-American teenagers viciously and gratuitously attacking a random victim, a teacher, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Now, this violent act is what the teens where this is happening laughingly call “The Knockout Game.”

I beg of Reverend Jesse Jackson, Reverend Al Sharpton and even President Obama to step up right now and speak out. Your silence will speak volumes, but your voice could make a big difference. Don’t wait. Be leaders, they need you. We need you.
Can Van Susteren expect honesty on what is happening regarding race violence from Jackson, Sharpton or Obama — three men who seem more committed to stirring it up rather than reducing its incidence? Of course not. Jackson is becoming irrelevant, while Sharpton plays the fool each weekday during his hour-long rants on MSNBC that attack what he calls the “white establishment.”

The far greater and more sinister threat to race relations in America is being carried out by Obama.

He inserts himself each time a wrong is done to a black by a white, but he remains stone silent regarding black-on-black and black-on-white violence. It is Obama’s reach, politics and personal grievances against white people that shape his Presidency and, thus, threaten our safety and liberty.

How can we be surprised? Obama’s hero is Mandela, a man who refused to renounce violence. I wrote about it in Obama Condemns Slavery, Then Celebrates The Life Of Terrorist Nelson Mandela. I spoke of my month spent traveling throughout South Africa in 1990. That was the same month Mandela was waiting his release from prison and was on his meteoric rise to the presidency of South Africa. It was a time when black resentments planted by Mandela’s Marxist African National Congress (ANC) had taken root, and there was murderous black violence against other blacks and large numbers of whites.

One night, my uncle and I strayed a few blocks past our hotel in downtown Johannesburg. Two policemen with submachine guns came upon us in disbelief and asked what the heck we were doing outside of our hotel at night. They said there was a good chance that such a stroll could end our lives, and then they escorted us back to our hotel. I remember that — as an American who had lived only in Spokane, Wash., and in Calgary, Canada — I was completely shaken.

Today, South Africa is one of the most violent countries in the world. Instead of the black utopia that Mandela promised, 50 South Africans are murdered every day. Whites live and work behind barricaded walls protected by armed guards.

Protecting Yourself In Obama’s America

After I returned from South Africa, I took up self-defense training and boxing. (Today, it would be called mixed martial arts.) I had an instructor, Matt David, who was a black belt in karate and a former California Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion. David was an imposing man who more than once accidentally knocked me out cold while sparring, and he could throw me across the judo mats like a rag doll (not an easy feat because in those days I weighed more than 200 pounds). You might think a man like David and the presence he carried would be all the protection he needed. David didn’t think so. When outside his gym, he always carried his Glock on his hip.

I cannot say what David needed to feel safe. That was his personal decision and his 2nd Amendment right. What I can say is that many parts of America are far more dangerous than what Spokane was 20 years ago. And while I have never met a more capable person of defending himself without a firearm than David, his No. 1 rule for personal safety was not to carry a sidearm. It was to not be in a place where you need one.

What is tragic is that in America there is getting to be fewer and fewer such places, and we can’t even count on our leaders or their mainstream media to inform us where it is safe and where it is not safe. To do that would state the obvious: that America is becoming a less safe place by the month just as it was in South Africa two decades ago.

Yours in good times and bad,
–John Myers

P.S.: The South African Airways 747 we flew to South Africa was completely empty. On our return flight to London, every seat was taken, mostly by whites who were permanently leaving the country.

P.S.S.: The experience I had in South Africa and the violent meltdown are captured in the book The Bang Bang Club by Greg Marinovich and Joao Silva and in the 2010 movie of the same name.

Twas the Night Before Obamacare

By Craig Andresen / The National Patriot

So…According to the Dictator…

“This holiday season, millions of Americans have a chance to get quality, affordable health insurance—many for the first time. If you have family members who are uninsured, you can play a big part in helping them find coverage that works for them. It might not always seem like it, but your family listens to you. So have the talk.”

Really...

Yes…Obama wanted you to talk to those gathered around your Thanksgiving table about…Obamacare.

He even suggested the things your holiday guests should bring to the feast.

No…Not cranberry sauce or that green bean casserole with the crunchy onion rings on top.

Here were his suggested side dishes for the main meal of Obamacare.
  1. Your Social Security Number
  2. Information about your employer and income— either a pay stub or a copy of your most recent W-2 tax form
  3. If you currently have health insurance, you’ll need your health insurance card or paperwork that includes a health policy number
Ummmmm…

Why not have your friends and family just bring a steaming HAGGIS???

But wait…There was more…

“Start early: Don’t wait until the last minute—be sure to start the conversation early!”
“Integrate the talk into family time: Take advantage of downtime after meals or between holiday activities to start your talk.”

Gee whiz…That steaming haggis, a Scottish “gourmet” dish made of sheep’s pluck (heart, liver and lungs); minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally encased and, boiled in, the animal’s stomach and simmered for approximately three hours, along with the resulting olfactory assaulting gas attack, is sounding like the better alternative.

Well…Thanksgiving has come and gone, leftovers are being made into sandwiches as decorations are being hung by those not brave or insane enough to hazard black Friday shopping or wading through the carnage of it today and, before we are dictated to regarding the conversation of our upcoming Christmas gatherings…

Allow ME to kick off the Season with a REASON by supplying you with a NEW Christmas classic.
Now gather ‘round and lend an ear as I tell you a tale of Christmas cheer…

The Night Before Obamacare

(A Visit From Dear Leader)

Twas the night before Obamacare, and all through the land
The enrollment deadline was frighteningly at hand.
The pink slips were hung by the chimney with care,
And hopes for employment simply weren’t there.
-
The children were huddled, asleep in their beds
While visions of high premiums took hold of our heads.
And Ma in her “kerchief, and I in my cap,
With nary a clue and a policy gap.
-
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Oh my GOD, please tell me that THAT’S not a rash.
-
The policy I liked had been taken away
And the DOCTOR I liked had told me NO WAY.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a Canadian bus and 2 REALLY large ears.
-
It was a little old campaigner, so my door I did lock,
I knew in a moment it no doubt was Barack.
More rapid than vultures the coursers they came
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
-
“Now Harry! Now Nancy and Jarret, you vixen!”
“ON Sebelius! On Carney! This law I’ll be fixen’”
Get AWAY from my house, stay OUTSIDE the wall!!
BE GONE ,BE GONE, BE GONE WITH YOU ALL!!!
-
As dry leaves that before his bloviations did fly,
When they meet with the TRUTH just as plain as the sky.
So UP in the yard the coursers they flew,
With a crock full of crap and a teleprompter too.
-
And then, in a twinkling, I heard in the night,
That Ted Cruz was the one who was actually RIGHT!
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
THROUGH MY WINDOW, UNINVITED, CAME BARACK WITH A BOUND!
-
He was a bald-faced liar, from his head to his foot,
And his website was still down, not working, kaput.
A bundle of promises he had flung on his back,
He was nothing but a con man, a shyster, a hack.
-
His eyes didn’t twinkle, what he had, was a leer,
As he made a noise in his throat and said, ”Let me be perfectly clear.”
“You’ll LIKE socialism, You’ll see, Just go with the flow,”
And “I’m a Marxist, TRUST me You’ll LOVE it, I KNOW!”
-
He gave me a smile as he lied through his teeth,
And the smoke he was blowing encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a thin face and not much of a belly,
But his WIFE’S double wide keester, THAT shook just like jelly.
-
She was chubby and plump, and looked like a Wookie
And I laughed when she told me to put down the cookie.
A wink of his eye and a twist of her head,
Soon led me to know I had PLENTY to dread.
-
Barack finally stopped talking, but went straight to his work,
Redistributing wealth, good grief, what a jerk.
And flipping the finger while thumbing his nose,
And leaving us nothing, up the chimney he rose!
-
He jumped on his bus, to his team gave a shout,
And away they all sped, the minions…The lout.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,
“I’VE TAKEN YOUR INSURANCE AND CANCELLED YOUR RIGHTS!!!!”
——
Okay…Aside from the obvious tie-in between Obama wanting us all to talk about Obamacare during the holidays, there is a rather unique reason for choosing Clement Clarke Moore’s poem, “A Visit From St. Nicolas” for this parody.

It turns out that Clement Clarke Moore’s father , Benjamin, had a rather unique place in American history.

Benjamin Moore officiated at the inauguration of our first president, George Washington and I rather doubt that today, 43 presidents and one Dictator later, either Mr. Moore or president Washington would agree with one single thing about Obamacare.

And you thought he was only famous for paint?

The holidays, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah and of course, Christmas, are for family and friends, thanks for the blessings we have and celebrating new beginnings.  The holidays are not for mandated government redistribution of wealth, dictated socialism or…Obamacare but, if you MUST bring up Obamacare in connection with Christmas…

At least NOW you have the proper means by which to do so.

Night Watch

China: Update. The Chinese announced that they monitored the flight of US B-52 bombers, but chose not to react based on their threat assessment. Some Chinese media called the People's Liberation Army a "paper tiger."

India: Update. The aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya departed Severodvinsk, Russia, on 26 November. The carrier will have a few days' stop to clear customs and fill its bunkers at Murmansk, some 215 nautical miles away, where it will be joined by the frigate INS Trikhand and fleet tanker INS Deepak to begin the voyage to India by 30 November.

When the ships enter the Mediterranean Sea, they will rendezvous with two more Indian escort s - a destroyer and a frigate. The task group will proceed, via the Suez Canal. One Indian naval defense news report stated that when Vikramaditya enters the Indian Ocean it will rendezvous with the other Indian aircraft carrier, INS Viraat, and other ships and submarines to form a battle group.

The group will proceed across the Indian Ocean to a new naval base, INS Kadamba, outside Karwar, a city just south of Goa in Karnataka state. This will be the largest naval base in the Indian Ocean region. Vikramaditya and its escorts are expected in Karwar by the third week of January 2014.

Vikramaditya is traveling without its complement of MiG-29K fighters. Pilots from Black Panther Squadron are finishing certification training in Moscow. The shore-based test facility for Vikramaditya is INS Hansa, at Goa which is still under construction. The ship and its crew are scheduled to be fully operational by mid-2014.

Pakistan: New Chief of the Army Staff. On 27 November the government approved Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's appointment of Lieutenant Raheel Sharif as the new Chief of Army Staff. The transfer of command ceremony from General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani to Lieutenant General Sharif will take place on 29 November.

Prime Minister Sharif also appointed Lieutenant General Rashad Mahmood, the most senior three-star general in the Pakistan Army, as the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC), which is a prestigious but most ceremonial position. The most powerful military position in Pakistan is the Chief of Army Staff, which actually functions as a Chief of General Staff, i.e., a full command, not a staff, position.

General Raheel Sharif, age 57, was born in Quetta to a renowned military family. He is a Rajput and no relation to the prime minister. He was the third most senior of the senior generals. His most recent position was Inspector General, Training and Evaluation, where his task was to come up with a strategy to counter India's cold start attack doctrine.

Comment: Several features of this appointment deserve mention. In terms of professional training, General Sharif trained with the Bundeswehr University, the Canadian Army Command and Staff College and the British Royal College of Defence Studies.

His list of official training assignments does not include the US. That indicates he is one of a number of Pakistani officers who rose in the ranks during the period when US military training was denied because of Pakistan's nuclear tests in 1998.

One of the long term ripple effects of those sanctions is that entire cohorts of senior officers in friendly countries have risen in rank with little direct and prolonged experience of American military schooling and American life. That gap in inter-cultural understanding is a significant communications problem.

General Sharif's sole corps command was XXX Corps at Gujranwala, an infantry corps whose primary task is defense of the northern approaches to Lahore. He has no other significant postings as commander of a combat formation. He has never commanded a Pakistan Army attack formation.

The last time Nawaz Sharif appointed a Chief of Army Staff in 1999, the general overthrew him in a coup. It was Pervez Musharraf who is being tried for treason. General Sharif's appointment should be safer. For the past six years, Sharif's progression has occurred under the tutelage of General Kayani.

Sharif strongly has asserted that the internal terrorism is as great a threat as is the threat from India. His position as chief of training and evaluation suggests a strong anti-Indian professional orientation as well, but nothing suggests a propensity for political intervention.

New Chief Justice of Pakistan. President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday, 28 November, approved the appointment of Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani as the next Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP). The appointment was approved by the president on the recommendation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Jillani, who currently serves as the acting chief election commissioner, will take over on 12 December from Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry who will retire after a tumultuous eight-year tenure.

Comment: Most analysts agree that Jillani's tenure as CJP should be much less controversial than that of outgoing CJP Chaudhry. Both justices were sacked by Musharraf and placed under house arrest in November 2007. Chaudhry has been an activist and has led the judiciary in pressuring the elected government to recognize the independence of the judiciary, despite its official status as a government bureaucracy.

"Jillani will serve as a judge while the present chief justice acts like a politician. Jillani will do what a judge is supposed to do, he has no special agenda," one member of the bar told the press. Jillani has been a Supreme Court judge since 2004.

Iran-US: This week the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman denounced the US "fact sheet" on the Iran agreement as a misrepresentation. Foreign Minister Zarif clarified the situation, obliquely.
Zarf said the capacity at the Arak plutonium nuclear reactor construction site is not going to increase.

"It means no new nuclear fuel will be produced and no new installations will be installed, but construction will continue there," Zarif told Iran's parliament in translated comments broadcast on Iran'sPress TV.

Zarif also said that uranium enrichment at the Natanz and Fordow facilities will continue at levels around 3.5-5 percent purity, but the facilities' capacities will not be expanded.

When asked about this, French Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal said: "In the interim accord, the Arak reactor is specifically targeted and the end of all work at this reactor. In the agreement and the text, which has been approved by the Iranian authorities, the Arak reactor is clearly targeted."

Lies My President Told Me
Paul Driessen / Townhall Columnist

“Under my plan, if you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. Period. If you like your healthcare plan, you’ll be able to keep your healthcare plan. Period. Nothing changes, except your health insurance costs will go down.”

It was just a couple of renegade IRS agents in Cincinnati. Benghazi was a spontaneous protest that got out of control in direct response to an inflammatory video posted on the internet. During September 2012, our rebounding economy created an astonishing 873,000 jobs. And on and on.

If we have learned anything about President Obama and his administration, it is that they are compulsive, practiced prevaricators – determined to advance their agenda of “fundamentally transforming” America and imposing greater government control over our lives, living standards and pursuit of happiness. When caught, they dissemble, say they were “not informed directly,” issue false apologies, or fire back with “What difference, at this point, does it make anyway?!?”

Keep all this in mind when the President and other Washington politicos bring up “dangerous manmade global warming,” insist that we slash fossil fuel use, and tell us we need to give poor countries billions of dollars a year to compensate them for “losses and damages” they incurred due to warming we caused.

When they claim “97% of scientists say the planet is warming and human activity is contributing to it,” remember: This is based on 75 of 77 “climate scientists” who were selected from a 2010 survey (that went to 10,257 scientists). 700 climate scientists, 31,000 American scientists and 48% of US meteorologists say there is no evidence that humans are causing dangerous warming or climate change.

Moreover, “contributing to” is meaningless. Is it a 1, 5, 20 or 90% contribution? Is it local or global?

Do scientists know enough to separate human factors from the numerous, powerful, interrelated solar, cosmic, oceanic, terrestrial and other forces that have repeatedly caused minor to major climate changes, climate cycles and weather events throughout human and geologic history? At this point, they do not.

When the President says “carbon pollution in our atmosphere has increased dramatically,” remember: It’s not “carbon” (soot) – it’s carbon dioxide. It’s not “pollution” – it’s the plant-fertilizing gas that makes all life on Earth possible. Increased “dramatically” means rising from 330 ppm (0.030% of the atmosphere) in 1975, when scientists were concerned about global cooling, to about 400 ppm (0.040%) today.

(Oxygen represents 21% of atmospheric gases (210,000 ppm). Argon is 0.93% (9,300 ppm). About 90% of the “greenhouse effect” is from water vapor. And roughly 95% of the annual addition to atmospheric carbon dioxide levels is from volcanoes, subsea vents and other natural sources.)

Over the past 16 years, while CO2 levels continued to increase “dramatically,” average planetary temperatures did not budge. The eight years since a Category 3 hurricane made landfall in the United States is the longest such period since 1900 or even the 1860s. Even with the recent Midwestern and East Coast twisters, US tornado frequency remains close to a record low. Is that due to CO2 emissions?

There is one point on which the President is correct. In 2008 he said “This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow.” And indeed, they are now rising at a mere seven inches per century.

All of this should fascinate the scholar and climate realist that lurks inside each of us. But what should concern us is the pernicious effects that the constant barrage of “manmade climate change” hype and headlines is having on public policies, taxpayer and consumer expenditures, and our daily lives.

Like threads in a tapestry, “dangerous manmade climate change” is intertwined with anti-hydrocarbon, imminent resource depletion, renewable energy, sustainable development, and wealth redistribution theses and ideologies. They are used to concoct and justify energy and economic policies, ranging from delays and bans on oil and gas leasing and drilling, to the war on coal mining and use, and diehard opposition to hydraulic fracturing and the Keystone XL pipeline.

They promote spending $22 billion just in federal money during FY-2014 on climate change studies; costly solar projects of every description; wind turbines that blight scenic vistas and slaughter millions of birds and bats annually, while wind energy developers are exempted from endangered species and other environmental laws that apply to all other industries; and ethanol programs that require millions of acres of farmland and vast quantities of water, fertilizer, pesticides and fossil fuel energy to produce a gasoline additive that reduces mileage, harms engines, drives up food prices … and increases CO2 emissions.

The policies pummel jobs, families and entire communities around coal mines and coal-fired factories and electrical generating plants, impairing the health and welfare of millions. Being unemployed – or holding multiple lower-paying part-time jobs – means greater stress, reduced nutrition, sleep deprivation, family discord, higher incidences of depression, greater alcohol, drug, spousal and child abuse, higher suicide rates and lower life expectancies. It means every life allegedly saved by anti-fossil fuel regulations is offset by lives lost or shortened because of those rules.

The policies, laws and regulations affect everything we make, grow, ship, eat, drive and do – 100% of our energy based economy, not just one-sixth under ObamaCare – and put legislators, bureaucrats, activists and courts in ever-increasing control over our lives, livelihoods, liberties, living standards and life spans.

Even worse, it’s all for nothing – even if carbon dioxide plays a bigger role in climate change than many scientists believe it does. Germany is relying increasingly on coal for power generation.

Australia has junked its cap-tax-and-trade program. Britain is reexamining its commitment to CO2 reduction. China and India are building new coal-fueled power plants every week, and neither they nor any of the real “developing countries” are required to commit to “binding targets” for lower carbon dioxide emissions.

Under agreements signed at the just-concluded UN climate conference in Warsaw, 130 developing nations must merely make “contributions” toward lower emissions, and only when they are “ready to do so.”

But then international climate programs were never really about preventing climate change. As IPCC official Ottmar Edenhofer has admitted, they are about “how we redistribute the world’s wealth.”

First, tens of billions continue flowing annually to IPCC scientists and bureaucrats and renewable energy programs. Then we start talking about real money.

Now that the IPCC, President Obama and hordes of other climate alarmists have convinced so many people that climate change is “real,” it’s “happening now,” humans are “contributing to” myriad disasters on an “unprecedented” scale – the Group of 130 expects the FRCs (Formerly Rich Countries) to pay up.

China, India, island nations and poor countries demand “compensation,” “adaptation” and “mitigation” money, to pay for “losses and damages” from rising seas and more frequent, more intense storms and droughts – which they say are happening already, and which they blame on industrialized nations that helped raise CO2 levels from 280 ppm at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution to 400 ppm today.

They want $50 billion immediately, followed by $100 billion to $400 billion per year, plus free transfers of our best energy, pollution control and industrial technologies. It’s too late to prevent, mitigate or adapt to climate change, they say. You “rich countries” need to start paying for the damage you are causing.

20% of the EU budget will now go toward CO2 emission reductions and helping poor countries adapt to climate change: €180 billion ($245 billion) by 2020. What the United States will have to pay in “compensation” and under ClimateCare schemes being hatched at EPA, DOI and Energy headquarters is yet to be determined. But the payments will be substantial, even crippling.

We are caught in a climate trap of our own (bureaucrats and politicians) making. How will we get out?

Pentagon to continue defiance of China’s claimed air defense zone                                            Kristina Wong / The Washington Times

A B-52 bomber flies over the Pacific Ocean. (Image: U.S. Air Force)

The Pentagon said Friday it will continue to operate in an air zone over the East China Sea that China recently declared as under its control.

“We have flights routinely transiting international airspace throughout the Pacific, including the area China is including in their [air defense identification zone],” said Pentagon spokesman Army Col. Steve Warre.

“These flights are consistent with long standing and well known U.S. freedom of navigation policies that are applied in many areas of operation around the world. I can confirm that the U.S. has and will continue to operate in the area as normal.”

The statement comes after China sent two fighter jets to tail U.S. and Japanese warplanes that were flying in the airspace in defiance of China’s Nov. 23 announcement that all planes flying through the area would have to submit flight plans and other information to Beijing authorities.

Chinese media reports said the fighter jets identified the planes but took no action.

China’s newly declared “Air Defense Identification Zone” includes airspace over the East China Sea, which is home to a tiny but hotly contested group of islands that have been under administrative control by Japan but also claimed by China.

The U.S., which has defense treaties with China’s regional neighbors Japan, South Korea and the Philippines, immediately issued a response dismissing the declaration before sending B-52 bombers through the zone Monday as part of a training exercise.

South Korea and Japan also sent planes through the zone before the Chinese fighter jets were scrambled.

Through official media outlets, Chinese officials said their air force would remain on high alert and would take measures to protect China’s airspace.

Soon after President Obama told the White House press corps he was solely responsible for the botched Obamacare rollout, he decided to shift part of the blame on Republicans.

A mea culpa can be hard to deliver in public when you are the kind of politician who thinks he never mistakes and rarely if ever apologizes for anything that went wrong. But Obama's apologies have a brief shelf life, and a few days later they had reached their expiration date.

So at a gathering of business executives on Tuesday, Nov. 19, the president concluded that he had done enough groveling over his utterly false claim that "if you like your health insurance policy, you can keep it" and went on the political attack.

Somehow he decided that the Republicans in Congress were partly to blame for the bungled mess that he and his administration had created. That it wasn't all his fault.

He also said the broken, online, sign-up system was in the process of being fixed and would be up and running at full throttle by the end of November. That doesn't seem to be the case entirely, but more on that in a moment.

Then he turned on the Republicans with a vengeance. He suggested that their intransigent political opposition had inhibited the law's implementation.

"One of the problems we've had is one side of Capitol Hill is invested in its failure," he told the chief financial officers at the Wall Street Journal's CEO Council meeting in Washington last week.

And he also suggested the Republicans' "ideological resistance to the idea of dealing with the uninsured and people with preexisting conditions" was also a factor in what went wrong.

Republicans had their own ideas about how to provide wider access to lower cost health care, but it was not the costly, government-run, top-down bureaucracy Obama wanted and got from the Democrats.

The larger organizational problems that presumably led to the mess the government is still trying to fix stemmed from the political bickering in Washington that threatened to damage his presidency's signature achievement, he further suggested.

Both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue needed to "break through the stubborn cycle of crisis politics and start working together," he said.

Well, I did a little checking with Constitutional scholars, and no one can find any provision in the Constitution that gives lawmakers any role in the executive branch to help implement and/or administer laws passed by Congress.

Obama has made bombastic claims over the course of his presidency that have not proven true. But to blame the Republicans for any part this debacle -- who control only one half of Congress -- is a huge reach, to say the least.

By the way, he also blamed the government's archaic, information- retrieval, computer system, saying the federal government's IT system is "not very efficient."

Well, whose fault is that? He's the chief executive who is in charge of seeing that the laws are carried out in a fair and efficient way and insuring that they work and meet all deadlines.

Judging from the mountain of government audits that have exposed waste, inefficiencies and other skullduggery in his administration, he's not the least bit interested in the details and process of running anything -- least of all his health care mess.

Now, about his claim that Obamacare's online computer system would be fixed and ready for business by Nov. 30. Well, not all of it.

His promise to the CFOs came immediately after an administration official who oversees the technical side of the federal health insurance marketplace told Congress that 30 to 40 percent of the overall system was unfinished and not ready to go.

Henry Chao, deputy chief information officer for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, said major parts of Obama's program, including its accounting and payments to insurance companies, were still incomplete.

"If the business functions are not in place on time, it could create havoc with a system through which billions of dollars in federal tax money will flow to subsidize coverage for consumers who otherwise could not afford it, insurance industry officials said," Reuters news agency reported.

"The upshot is that the (financial management).... appears to be way off track and getting worse," a CMS official said in a July 8 e- mail, obtained by Reuters.

The first payments were due by mid-to-late January, but now we learn that the accounting system is far from ready to process the most critical part of Obamacare.

But bigger financial problems loom on the horizon that could bring Obamacare crashing down before it even gets started.

One is the need to get very large numbers of younger, healthier people to sign up for insurance to pay for older, and poorer beneficiaries. The administration promised the insurance industry this would happen, but now that is very much in doubt.

"I now think there is little hope we are going to get enough younger, healthy people to sign up, and that means that this law is in grave danger of financial collapse," Robert Laszewski, president of Health Policy and Strategy Associates, a health care industry consultant, told the Washington Post.

The number of people who have signed up thus far are relatively small, far from the tens of millions of applicants needed to make it work.

There are also troubling questions about whether the Internal Revenue Service will be ready to carry out nearly four dozen new tasks under the law.

The IRS must figure out who has insurance and who does not, and thus who they will fine for being uninsured, plus begin to distribute trillions of dollars in insurance subsidies.

Meanwhile, five million Americans have had their private insurance policies cancelled, and businesses are laying off employes or reducing hours worked to avoid Obama's unpopular and unworkable insurance mandates.

And Obama has started to blame the Republicans who warned this would happen and voted against it.

The Ugly End of the Duke Lacrosse Story
 Brent Bozell/ Townhall Columnist

On Nov. 22, with the national media focused on the 50th anniversary of former President John F. Kennedy's death, few noticed the story of a jury in North Carolina convicting Crystal Mangum of murder in the 2011 kitchen stabbing death of her boyfriend Reginald Daye. Why should that fact fixate the national media?
On its own, it shouldn't. But in 2006 and 2007, Mangum's false charges of rape against three Duke University lacrosse players caused a national tsunami of media sensation, an angry wave of prejudiced coverage presuming the guilt of rich white college boys when being accused by an African-American stripper.

More than any other media outlet, The New York Times trumpeted Mangum's rape accusations, even after they fell apart. As other liberal media were backing away, the Times published a notorious, error-riddled 5,700-word lead story on Aug. 25, 2006, by Duff Wilson, who argued there was enough evidence against the players for Michael Nifong, the atrocious local prosecutor (who would later be jailed and disbarred), to bring the case to trial.

Within the Times, perhaps the most aggressive accuser was then-sports columnist Selena Roberts, who made a habit of comparing the accused Duke lacrosse players to drug dealers and gang members.

Roberts continued to lob charges of white privilege in her last column on the subject in 2007: "Don't mess with Duke, though. To shine a light on its integrity has been treated by the irrational mighty as a threat to white privilege. Feel free to excoriate the African-American basketball stars and football behemoths for the misdeeds of all athletes, but lay off the lacrosse pipeline to Wall Street, excuse the khaki-pants crowd of SAT wonder kids." She lamented, "some news media jackknifed as they moved from victim's advocate to angel-tinting the lacrosse team."

To Roberts, the false accuser never stopped being the victim. Roberts never wrote a retraction for her columns that relentlessly championed a false narrative. She is the Al Sharpton of sports columnists.

The coverage ended. Well, there was one small trickle of news. In December 2010, The New York Times ran a tiny wire item in the sports section about the Duke lacrosse "victim" being found guilty of "misdemeanor child abuse and damaging property. A Durham County jury convicted Crystal Mangum, 32, of contributing to child abuse or neglect, injury to personal property and resisting a public officer after a February confrontation with her live-in boyfriend."

Then, in 2011, Mangum was indicted for murdering her boyfriend. Again, it was a tiny item in the Times -- a brief at the bottom of page B-14 of the sports section, under "Lacrosse": "Crystal Mangum, who falsely accused three Duke players of raping her in 2006, was charged with murder in the death of her boyfriend."

So when Mangum was convicted of murder on Nov. 22, now would it garner serious attention? The Times ran a tiny, 98-word wire story. There were no burning columns from the successors of Roberts.

Now remember that the entire time Mangum was ruining the reputations of three young men, the media kept her identity a secret. But now that her secret of lying and even murder is out, the secret remains, at least on the media's radar screen.

There were no Duke-accuser updates on ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, PBS, USA Today or The Washington Post.

Like Roberts, ABC legal reporter Terry Moran didn't easily let go of the blame-the-rich-whites game in the spring of 2007, writing for his ABC blog: "Perhaps the outpouring of sympathy for (the falsely arrested Duke lacrosse players) is just a bit misplaced ... As students of Duke University or other elite institutions, these young men will get on with their privileged lives ... They are very differently situated in life from, say, the young women of the Rutgers University women's basketball team."

Those women were briefly, unfairly smeared one day in a bad Don Imus joke at 6 a.m., as "nappy-headed hos." Few would have heard it if liberals hadn't flagged it. Just as liberals flagged some falsely accused lacrosse players who were only guilty of being rich and white.

On Saturday, Nov. 23, CNN offered two segments on Mangum's conviction. Defense attorney Mark Geragos offered a strong post-trial verdict: "I thought at the time that that (Duke lacrosse) prosecution was not only ill-advised but that prosecutor and we were vindicated to some degree was -- ended up being disbarred."

"Now you have a woman, and, you know, somebody had remarked to me this morning, karma is a bitch," he said. "You've got a situation where, you know, she had at least arguably a decent defense in this case, but has absolutely no credibility."

The national media also lost credibility in this Mangum mess. Their coverage at the start was outrageous, as was their suppression at the end.

CNN Poll: More Americans Pessimistic About State of Nation

 By: Sandy Fitzgerald / Newsmax

Americans are becoming even more pessimistic about the state of the nation, according to a new CNN/ORC International poll released Friday, with more than half saying conditions are going badly.

The survey, conducted on Nov. 18-20 of 843 adults, showed that 41 percent believe conditions are going well, marking the lowest that number has been in a CNN poll since February 2012.

Meanwhile, 59 percent say things are going badly, a number up nine points since the last poll in April. The opinions were along a partisan divide, as well as a difference of opinion between younger and older people.

"There's a slight generational divide, with 46 percent of those under age 50 saying things are going well. That number drops to 36 percent for those 50 and older," said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.

Americans are also pessimistic about the economy, the poll showed. Thirty-nine percent believe the economy is still declining, and just 24 percent believed a recovery is occurring. Meanwhile, 36 percent said they do not believe there is a recovery going on, but still think conditions are becoming stable.

The numbers were similar to those from a CNN/ORC International survey in October, when 59 percent predicted poor economic conditions a year from now, while 40 percent said the economy would be in good shape next year, marking the lowest level of optimism from the public in two years.

Partisan and geographic divides also came into play when it came to the economy. Forty-five percent of people who are 50 or older say the economy remains in a downturn, but 34 percent of people younger than 50 said the economy is declining.

Netanyahu vows to banish "darkness" of Iran nuclear program

From Jihad Watch / Posted by Robert Spencer

A light unto the nations indeed. "Netanyahu vows to banish ‘darkness’ of Iran nuclear program," by Joshua Davidovich for the Times of Israel, November 28:
Melding the Hanukkah holiday and foreign affairs, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu solemnly vowed to act as a “light unto the nations” and act against Iran’s nuclear program should diplomacy fail Thursday night.
Speaking at the Western Wall for a Hanukkah candle-lighting ceremony, Netanyahu compared Iran’s nuclear program to a darkness that would be forced out by Israel, referencing a popular children’s song for the holiday.
“We came to drive out the darkness, and the largest darkness that threatens the world today is a nuclear Iran,” he said. “We are bound to do all we can to prevent this darkness. If possible we will do this diplomatically, if not we will act as a light unto the nations.”Jerusalem has denounced a deal signed Sunday between Iran and six world powers that eases sanctions in return for limits on uranium enrichment and a more intrusive inspections regime.
Earlier Thursday, Yaakov Amidror, the former head of the Israeli National Security Council took to the pages of The New York Times to rail against the nuclear deal between world powers and Iran, calling the accord a diplomatic failure that missed the mark in diverting Tehran’s nuclear weapons program.
“The agreement represents a failure, not a triumph, of diplomacy,” Amidror wrote.
Netanyahu has been castigated at home and abroad for taking a harsh stand against the US and Europe for signing the deal, with critics claiming he is deepening Israel’s isolation while strengthening the Iranian regime.
The prime minister, however, said he had “not given in to delusions” that Iran would pull back its nuclear program, comparing the nuclear deal to a failed diplomatic initiative meant to stymie North Korea’s nuclear program.
“I believe in speaking the truth, and standing for important principles in order to ensure peace in the world and our security, and of course our peace,” he said. “We will continue to act in this spirit.”
The prime minister added that Jerusalem was in talks with the US and P5+1 to ensure that a final deal “brings a final result of the dismantling of Iran’s ability for a military nuclear program.”...

The Democrats Get Desperate

The Democrats Get Desperate
Newt Gingrich, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, is no stranger to political confrontation. He had some doozies (including two shutdowns of the Federal government) back when Bill Clinton was President.

But he says nothing that happened back then can match the Democrats latest power grab. In a column titled “The Death of the Senate,” he wrote: “No one should be confused about what happened [last Thursday]. The Obama Democrats killed the United States Senate as a deliberative body 226 years after the Founding Fathers created it.”

What happened eight days ago to lead to this harsh appraisal? After years of threatening to employ the “nuclear option” to limit debate, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid finally pushed the button. The Democrats rammed through a resolution on a straight 52-48 party-line vote that will keep Republicans from using filibusters to prevent confirmation of various Presidential appointees.

They did this in part so they could finally get the additional liberal votes they want on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. I mentioned in last week’s column how vital they think this is to protect many of Barack Obama’s unConstitutional usurpations of power. As The Wall Street Journal pointed out: “[T]he D.C. Circuit in particular will now have more liberal judges to hear challenges to [the President’s] unilateral climate-change power grab or his rewrite by fiat of the Affordable Care Act.”

My, how times have changed. Back in 2005, the shoe was on the other foot. Republicans controlled the White House and had a majority in the Senate. So the Democrats used the filibuster, or the threat of doing so, to prevent votes on dozens of George W. Bush’s nominees.

When Republicans threatened to use the nuclear option to end their delaying tactics, Democrats were outraged. Back then, Obama was a mostly unknown junior Senator from Illinois. Here’s what he said at the time: “Everyone in this chamber knows that if the majority chooses to change the rules and put an end to democratic debate, then the fighting, the bitterness and the gridlock will only get worse.”

Back then, it was hard to imagine “the fighting, the bitterness and the gridlock” getting any worse. But that’s certainly what’s happened, isn’t it?

The future President wasn’t the only one to protest the Republican threat. At the time, Harry Reid was the Minority Leader in the Senate. Here’s what he had to say:
[The filibuster] encourages moderation and consensus. It gives voice to the minority, so that cooler heads may prevail. It also separates us from the House of Representatives — where the majority rules. And it is very much in keeping with the spirit of the government established by the Framers of our Constitution: Limited Government… Separation of Powers… Checks and Balances. … [T]he filibuster is a critical tool in keeping the majority in check.
Of course, the Democrats haven’t worried about “moderation” or “consensus” since they won a majority. And Harry Reid has turned out to be one of the most mean-spirited, uncompromising and punitive leaders the Democrats have ever selected.

When Republicans threatened to use the nuclear option eight years ago, no one was more passionate, or more sanctimonious, in protesting the threat than then-Senator Joe Biden. He declared: “We should make no mistake. This nuclear option is ultimately an example of the arrogance of power. It is fundamental power grab by the majority party… We have been through these periods before in American history but never, to the best of my knowledge, has any party been so bold as to fundamentally attempt to change the structure of this body.”

Biden said his opposition to the measure was “the single most important vote” he cast during his three decades in the Senate. And listen to this. In a comment that I’ll bet he would love to delete from the history books, he then added: “I pray God when the Democrats take back control, we don’t make the kind of naked power grab you are doing.”

So what’s changed, gentlemen? Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) explained what’s really going on. “The heart of this action is directed at packing the D.C. Circuit,” he said, “because that is the court that will review the lawless behavior of the Obama Administration implementing Obamacare.”

And the Tea Party favorite added, “President Obama and the Administration refuse to follow the plain text of the law, and the D.C. Circuit court is the court of appeals that has been holding the Administration accountable.”

John Hayward, a staff writer for Human Events, was even more eloquent in his description of the Democrats’ duplicitous action:
Sure, they’re liars and hypocrites who never meant a word they said during the Bush era, shameless political hacks who abandoned all that lofty rhetoric about ripping out the beating heart of democracy in a mad power grab designed to grease the wheels for Obama’s lame-duck years. They desperately need to change the subject from Obamacare’s failure, while packing the D.C. Circuit Court with loyal Party operatives to thwart legal challenges that could bring the hated Affordable Care Act down.
Of course, the left will proclaim that this is all the Republicans’ fault. That it was their “obstructionism” that made the Senate so dysfunctional. And this naked power grab is supposed to make things better?

Three years ago, the Democrats used their super-majority in the Senate to ram through the monstrosity known as Obamacare. They did it on a straight party-line vote. They were willing — nay, eager — to force the most unpopular piece of legislation since Prohibition on us, without getting a single Republican to vote with them.

How much more repugnant legislation will they jam down our throats now? We’re about to find out.

In less than two months, the temporary deadline that Congress approved earlier this year to suspend the debt ceiling will expire. They’ll also be confronted with the need to approve some sort of Federal budget.

Meanwhile, the “new and improved” website for Obamacare is supposed to be up and running this Sunday. I’ll take a look next week at how much worse this train wreck is going to be.

Until next time, keep some powder dry.

MSM Tries To Gloss Over Black Violence

MSM Tries To Gloss Over Black Violence
PHOTOS.COM
When alternative media coverage of black-on-white violence began to move past niggling at the public consciousness and into conventional wisdom, the mainstream media reacted with breakneck speed.

Move along… nothing to see here. It’s a hoax. So said those bastions of truth like The New York TimesThe Daily Beast and Slate.

The “knockout game” is a myth, the MSM tell us.

Who says? Why, the police departments of course.

But police chiefs have a vested interest in hiding crime. High crime makes them look bad. Besides, police officers are trained liars. Who else?

Local media. They rarely tell you the race of the victims and attackers. They don’t want to appear racist, you know. Shakedown artists like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton and local chapters of the NAACP will call for boycotts of their advertisers.

Those attacks are just random assaults, not part of a trend, they say. Aren’t the media and police clever?

Yes, they’re random attacks. Random attacks are up .7 percent across the country. That’s not a trend?

Black youths are attacking non-blacks who they happen upon rather than targeting a specific individual and stalking him. But they set out to find someone not black – anyone — to attack. It’s usually someone alone and inattentive. That’s the definition of a random attack.

It has several names in addition to the “knockout game.” It’s called “one hitter quitter” and “polar bear hunting.” Black youths think it’s funny. Think it’s macho.

It’s real and it’s sometimes deadly. Colin Flaherty is the author of White Girl Bleed A Lot: The Return of Racial Violence to America, in which he’s documented hundreds of these attacks. Now he hears about them almost every day. They come from across the country. Here are his top 100. He reports more almost every day.

Black-on-white attacks are increasing in frequency. Black flash mob robberies are likewise increasing. The MSM don’t want you to know. Police don’t want you to know.

Official black unemployment is 13.1 percent. For black youths 16 to 19 years old, official unemployment is 36 percent. Real unemployment for black youths is higher still.

The growing lawlessness is evidence of a society in collapse. That is the reality the MSM is trying to gloss over.
Op-ed:
Slapping the face of the Catholic Church and the Holy Father
By: Diane Sori

Everyone knows that Barack HUSSEIN Obama is NO Christian for his actions tell the true story while his words speak of nothing but lies.

And everyone knows about his disdain for Israel and the Jewish people…good muslim that he is…as once again his actions NOT his words tell the story…like his most recent action being the sellout of Israel in favor of our and Israel’s enemy, Iran. But now he has gone even a step further as he’s turned his disdain towards the Roman Catholic Church.

In a move possibly in retaliation against the Church for opposing his re-election, for standing strong for traditional marriage, for speaking out for religious freedom, and for opposing ObamaCare with its pro-abortion stance, Barack HUSSEIN Obama has ordered our current stand-alone U.S. Embassy to the Vatican…the seat of government for the Catholic Church…to be closed in late 2014 or early 2015, and have the offices for the Ambassador to the Vatican moved into much smaller offices on the grounds of the larger U.S. Embassy Compound where the U.S. Embassy in Italy and the U.S. Mission to the U(selss) N(ations) is currently located.

After establishing direct diplomatic relations to the Holy See almost three decades ago, this move is seen as a slap in the face to both the Holy Father (the Pope) and the world’s 1.2 billion Roman Catholics as it involves yet more of Obama’s lies. Lie one being that the move is for security reasons as the current location is NO longer safe in light of what happened last year in Benghazi…and the other lie being that re-locating the staff’s offices to the compound’s administrative support building will save we taxpayers money.

Lies...for when was the last time you heard of muslim terrorists wreaking havoc or compromising security anywhere near the Vatican…which by the way is probably one of the most secure places in the world…and why in the scope of the amount of money this administration has spent would a paltry $1.4 million a year in rent and operating costs for the current embassy matter when over $4 BILLION of our taxpayer dollars will be given to Iran in the recently agreed to relaxation of the sanctions currently in place against them, and let’s NOT forget the half a BILLION+ dollars wasted on the non-working ObamaCare website.

Former U.S. Ambassador James Nicholson summed it up pretty well when he said, “It’s a massive downgrade of U.S.-Vatican ties..It’s turning this embassy into a stepchild of the embassy to Italy. The Holy See is a pivot point for international affairs and a major listening post for the United States, and …[it’s] an insult to American Catholics and to the Vatican.”

And how right he is as there is NO diplomatic or political benefit to anyone whatsoever to justify moving our existing embassy on Aventine Hill, which has been the home of the U.S. mission to the Vatican since 1994. And being that the Vatican acts as a go-between with many nations…especially important now with the mass killings of Catholics and Christians in the Middle East and in Africa… this move at this time sends a message from Barack HUSSEIN Obama to the Holy Father…a message that the Roman Catholic Church be damned…that the diplomatic post doesn’t matter…’off to an annex you go’…as he rubs this nothing but a political payback move into the faces of those who believe.

And all this courtesy of the man who has now given the rogue regime in Iran legitimacy, and who shares his hatred for any and all but the followers of islam…courtesy of the man who looks away as Iran will do anything and everything but actually stop their nuclear weapons quest in hopes of wiping Israel off the map.

And turning his ire against the Catholic Church probably makes some sort of warped sense in Obama’s mind as the Jews he hates and the Catholics he hates are forever joined together in their shared belief in the one true living God, in the fact that Catholicism sprang from Judaism, in the fact that Catholics are some of the biggest supporters of Israel.

Now add in that Obama announcing this move in the very same week as he agreed to that nefarious deal with Iran, and it becomes obvious this is NO coincidence in timing for we just passed the 50th anniversary of the assassination of our country’s first Roman Catholic President…John Fitzgerald Kennedy. This opens healed over wounds for remember, diplomatic relations between the United States and the Vatican were NOT always as cordial as they are today (until Obama that is) because of the anti-Catholic sentiments…which went hand-in-hand with the anti-Semitism of that day…before and for some time after JFK took the oath of office. It wasn’t until 1984 that our beloved Ronald Reagan appointed William A.Wilson as the first US Ambassador to the Holy See thus giving formal recognition by the US of the Vatican City/State as its own country. So, by moving the embassy, Obama is sending a message to the Vatican…to the Holy Father…about how he feels about its legitimacy…as in NOT much.

So calculatingly and purposefully Barack HUSSEIN Obama shows that like the state of Israel he also has NO use for the Catholic Church or for the Holy Father for minimizing the importance of this post by moving it to a shared compound minimizes respect for the Holy Father himself…but that is his goal for after all he hates Catholics and all they stand for and believe in as much as he hates Jews... good muslim that he is.

בברכת כל חסידי הבלוג שלי של האמונה היהודית מאוד
החנוכה שמחה ... והיה סמוך ובטוח בישראל תשרוד.

This week, President Barack Obama doomed Israel to a choice between unpalatable options: either striking at Iran's nuclear facilities in its own defense and thereby internationally isolating itself, or watching as its most ardent enemy goes nuclear. The deal, put into place with Iran by the Obama administration, allows Iran to continue developing nuclear-enrichment processes, encompasses virtually no real monitoring standards and grants cash to a regime busily preparing for a second Holocaust.

Obama made the conscious decision to shove Israel into this corner for two reasons. First, because he is an egotist determined to divert attention from his domestic political woes. Second, because he is a hard-core, anti-Israel fanatic who believes that Israeli power represents the chief threat to peace in the Middle East.

The first rationale explains Obama's timing. After years of flirting with Iran -- a flirtation dating all the way back to his presidential campaign of 2008, during which he said he would engage in direct negotiations with the Islamic theocracy without preconditions - Obama culminated the burgeoning relationship with a rammed-through deal leaving Iran in control of its own nuclear destiny. Why the sudden rush? With his poll numbers dropping precipitously and his signature program, Obamacare, dragging down his presidency, Obama needed a big win.

The media duly delivered this to Obama by proclaiming his diplomatic blunder an enormous victory.

Ignoring the fact that Obama tacitly gave Iran the right to nuclear development in contravention of all United Nations' resolutions and the best interests of the United States, The New York Times proclaimed, "No one can seriously argue that it doesn't make the world safer." The newspaper also called Israel's dismay at the deal "extremist" and "theater," and even admitted that the Iran deal acted as a "welcome change of subject" for Obama.

The Obama administration, meanwhile, rapidly erected a series of straw men designed to make the president look like a tower of strength rather than the appeaser he is. Secretary of State John Kerry immediately stated that those who opposed the deal thought war should be the "first option" -- an odd proclamation, given Israel's repeated desire to delay action. Obama himself said that the time for "tough talk and bluster" was over -- as though harsh sanctions backed by the threat of force were a bluff. (Which, apparently, they were.)

Though none of this explains why Obama wanted to make a deal in the first place. Yes, it was a convenient distraction -- but the president of the United States can always find a way to shift the political narrative.

The truth is that the president despises Israel and always has. He has spent his entire adult life surrounded by Israel-haters, from Professor Derrick Bell to Reverend Jeremiah Wright, from former Palestine Liberation Organization spokesman Rashid Khalidi to Jimmy Carter's former National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski. His current ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, has suggested that the United States ought to place troops on Israeli ground to protect Palestinians from those brutal Jews.

Obama's administration has repeatedly leaked Israeli national security information in order to stop Israel from striking Iran, and Obama himself forced Netanyahu to apologize to the government of Turkey for stopping its flotilla, directed toward helping the terrorist group Hamas, in the Gaza Strip.

The Obama administration sees Israel building homes in its capital city of Jerusalem as more of a threat to peace than Iran building nukes.

Obama's political philosophy dictates that Israel is a colonialist outpost offending the locals -- an unfortunate hangover from the Holocaust instead of a historic Jewish dream and possession. Obama's belief system suggests that Middle Eastern conflict springs not from religious and cultural differences but from Jewish intransigence. So Israel must be stopped. And if that means arming Iran, Obama is happy to do it. If he can while simultaneously winning himself a second Nobel Peace Prize and distracting people from his failed domestic tenure, so much the better.
