Ground Zero Mosque developer now to build condo tower on site
Early in 2014, I was leaving Penn Station in New York City when I heard someone calling my name. It was Sharif El-Gamal, the developer of the Ground Zero Mosque. He started out by asking me incredulously if I really believed in what I was doing, which shows that he has uncritically accepted as fact […]

It’s Official: Ground Zero Mosque DEFEATED!

Pamela Geller / Atlas Shrugs

We did it! We the people. President Obama pushed for it, then-Mayor of NYC Michael Bloomberg supported it, the media actively campaigned for it — the elites in their increasingly fragile ivory towers stumped for the mosque.

But the people stood up and fought it and won.

Hey Obama, YES. WE. CAN.

Bye Bye Boehner

By DICK MORRIS

John Boehner needed resigning.

His leadership has consisted of acting as an intermediary in the ongoing surrender negotiations of the conservatives we elected to Congress and the president we were trying to circumscribe.  If Donald Trump wrote a book on the Art of the Deal, Boehner could write one on the Art of the Sellout.

Boehner's style consisted of advocating a conservative policy, putting it to a vote in the House, passing it, and waiting for the Senate to defeat it.  Then, instead of negotiating with the president for half a loaf or working to build common cause with some Democrats for a partial solution, he just caved in and went home.

He never understood that capitulation was not a strategy.

Now, the House has a real chance to elect principled leadership in its chamber.  All House Republicans must accept one indisputable fact:

If it were not for the Party's conservative wing, they would not have the majority.
This week, Politico reported that Team Clinton is quietly urging the vice president not to run. The big guns haven’t been drawn yet, but the news publication noted that the mantra for the Clinton camp on Biden is “so sure, take your time, is the message people in and around the campaign seem to be sending—but if you end up at yes, you’re going to get hurt.”
The hints from the campaign come in heavy: Biden would be to Clinton’s right if he ran, more out of touch with the party’s progressive base. Surrogates have sounded off, questioning his chances and his political abilities, wondering if he’d be up to the job. Clinton even leapt in herself, bringing him up out of nowhere as she spoke to a woman in a diner last week in New Hampshire to knock him for how disappointing he’d been when they were working on the bankruptcy bill in the Senate. That was followed by her campaign chair John Podesta, sprinkling a little of his own shade in front of the pro-Clinton Priorities super PAC in New York—it’s already too late for Biden to mount a real challenge, and he’s not going to decide for a few more weeks on top of that.
