Image: RNC Bashes Hillary's Attack on Kavanaugh: 'Hysterics'The Republican National Committee on Friday ripped as "hysterics" Hillary Clinton's attacks on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in a speech to the American Federation of Teachers in Pittsburgh.

"Democrats seem to be running out of legitimate arguments to make against the judge, and are returning to the hysterics," the committee said on its website.
"Whether these 'devastating' attacks will resonate with the American people remains to be seen."

President Donald Trump nominated Kavanaugh, 53, a federal appeals court judge, on Monday to succeed the retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy, 81, who had been on the court since being confirmed in 1988 after being named by former President Ronald Reagan.

Clinton told the AFT that Kavanaugh would turn back the clock in America "to the 1850s."
"This nomination holds out the threat of devastating consequences for workers' rights, civil rights, LGBT rights, women's rights," Clinton said, the Washington Examiner reports.

Trumps Demands NATO Members Pay Fair Share, Left Calls It ‘Toxic Nationalism’ And ‘Diplomatic Malpractice,’ I Call It Smart

Predictably, President Trump’s bold demand that North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) member nations start paying their fair share of defense spending, was slammed by the mainstream media who called it “toxic nationalism” and “diplomatic malpractice.”

Why is Trump being vilified for speaking the truth? The whole point of holding these meetings is to provide world leaders with an opportunity to raise and debate issues of international significance. Certainly, leaders are expected to behave in a diplomatic, if not friendly, manner. But, it does not mean that uncomfortable subjects can’t be raised. This is precisely the time and the forum in which to address the most serious member concerns.

Trump made the following controversial remarks on Wednesday:

Many countries are not paying what they should. And, frankly, many countries owe us a tremendous amount of money for many years back, where they’re delinquent, as far as I’m concerned, because the United States has had to pay for them. So if you go back 10 or 20 years, you’ll just add it all up…a massive amount of money is owed. The United States has paid and stepped up like nobody.

Russian officers indicted for allegedly hacking Clinton campaign, DNC emails

A federal grand jury has indicted 12 Russian intelligence officers for allegedly hacking emails from the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic Party during the 2016 election, the Justice Department announced Friday.

“The internet allows foreign adversaries to attack America in new and unexpected ways,” Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said during a press conference.

All 12 defendants are members of GRU, the Russian intelligence agency.

The case stems from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russia’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. It comes as President Trump plans to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin for a summit in Helsinki on Monday.

The indictment amounted to the clearest allegation yet of Russian meddling in the election, blaming Moscow for the email hacking scandal that rocked the 2016 race by revealing embarrassing and politically damaging discussions by major Democrats. The charges swiftly fueled calls from Democratic lawmakers for Trump to cancel his Putin summit.
