Bill DeBlasio...Showing His True Colors

There is an old saying that “actions speak louder than words,” but sometimes the two actually do go hand-in-hand as one feeds off the other, and most times not in a very good way. And just one week ago we saw words and actions being coupled together in the most despicable of ways when New York City Mayor Bill DeBlasio gave new meaning to the words anti-Semite.

And it was last Tuesday that they gathered to bury one of their own as hundreds of Hasidic Jews came together in Brooklyn Heights to pay their final respects to one Rabbi Chaim Mertz. Wearing face masks and with many standing the recommended distance apart... those gathered were deep in prayer when Mayor Bill DeBlasio himself showed up like a gestapo general on a mission to disperse the mourners after he and his office had in fact given them permission to gather.

And to add insult to injury...this man...this mayor...who previously had closed New York City's churches and synagogues over fear of a virus but left mosques open for daily prayers and gatherings, was the same man...the same mayor...who pledged to serve 500,000 halal meals to aid New York's starving...sarcastically said...muslim community during their “skipping lunch” Ramadan pseudo fast while the city's shutdown is still in affect...and to do so at 32 muslim gathering centers. Do the math folks as that equals to 15,625 muslims per gathering center. Talk about crowds huddled together and spreading the virus he so supposedly fears.

But even while knowing that this could come back to haunt...and it has...DeBlasio still had the unmitigated gall to post these words...this threat...about the rabbi's funeral on twitter, “My message to the Jewish community, and all communities, is this simple: the time for warnings has passed,” adding that, “I have instructed the NYPD to proceed immediately to summons or even arrest those who gather in large groups...”

Shades of Nazi Germany I think, for this is exactly how the mindset of ethnic cleansing starts, as in singling out a specific group of people to unfairly target. And most folks already know that Bill DeBlasio is no friend to New York's Jewish community no matter how sweetly he smiles while pretending to be. Now using COVID-19 to perpetrate and spread his special brand of anti-Semitism, this tweet of his surely channels DeBlasio's inner Hitler as he knows well that anti-Semitic crimes have dramatically risen 20% under his watch, specifically attacks against the city's ultra Orthodox communities with little or no action taken from his office. And it's this very inaction that angered former New York City Mayor Rudi Giuliani...the man forever rightly known as “America's Mayor”...to such a degree that this past December 29th he issued the following statement regarding DeBlasio, “The rise in anti-Semitic violence in NYC is something that could have been stopped at a much earlier stage if the City had a Mayor who embraced the Broken Windows Theory, or at the least, a Mayor who worked full time & paid attention to what was going on.”

And it's here where the former mayor is making reference to Kristallnacht...the “Night of Broken Glass”...when on the night of November 9–10, 1938, Nazi party members, under Hitler's orders, destroyed Jewish businesses and property also killing many in turn. In fact, New York City had not that long ago enacted a form of law enforcement known as the “Broken Windows” policy...a reference that went back to Kristallnacht...in an effort to bring down the escalating number of anti-Semetic "hate crimes" happening on DeBlasio's watch..."hate crimes" DeBlasio haplessly blamed on what he called the Trump initiated “atmosphere in D.C.”...as well as to help crackdown on what was consisdered to be minor offenses against any minority group not just Jews. 

So while “Broken Windows” also hoped to set a standard by which to ward off larger more serious crimes, DeBlasio, his cohorts and minions claimed that the “Broken Windows” policy actually resulted in “aggressive over-policing of minority communities.” But isn't that the very thing DeBlasio himself has done with his trying to break up a gathering...a funeral service for a religious leader...a “special gathering” he and his office had already approved. Yes...unequivicly yes it is...while at the same time making it clear, at least to me, that in his position as mayor, Bill DeBlasio will not use the police to protect the Jewish community, but that he will use the police to target those belong to said community for arrest instead.

And of course the shills now had to cover for the mayor's grievous comments and actions especially after large crowds had already gathered earlier the same day to watch a flyover by the Navy's Blue Angels and the Air Force's Thunderbirds to honor health-care workers. And that response came via City Hall spokeswoman Olivia Lapeyrolerie who said that no special permits were issued for said funeral which was claimed to fall under the banner of a “special gathering.” But know that in New York City funerals do not legally fall under the category of a “special gathering” or any of the other events listed as needing a permit as per the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation Regulations, the very department which handles special types of permits. Translation: Mayor DeBlasio's spokeswoman is lying about the Hasidic Jews needing a permit for the funeral service...a service scheduled to be fairly short in duration.

But while New York funeral directors have been told by Governor Cuomo's office to limit wakes and funeral services to as few immediate family members as possible, exceptions have been made and are still being made with but a simple request asked, a request the Hasidic congregation had indeed asked for...a request that supposedly DeBlasio himself had approved. How can that be proven...by the fact that two hours before the funeral service was to begin the NYPD brought in trucks with barriers and tower lights to close off Bedford Avenue and the surrounding area in preparation for the funeral. Only the mayor and police chief could have approved this action. And so as promised the barriers were put up, the mourners gathered as they were given permission to do, and DeBlasio now had his much needed and so wanted photo-op regarding people breaking his social distancing mandate...entrapment of the very worst kind.

"My words were said with love, but it was tough love.”..."If in my passion and in my emotion I said something that in any way was hurtful, I’m sorry about that, it was not my intention.”..."But I also want to be clear, I have no regrets about calling out this danger and saying we’re going to deal with it very, very aggressively.” - Mayor Bill DeBlasio's words of apology that were anything but an apology.

So with the fallout starting to rain down on the mayor for his additional words said...like "I make no apology...The next gathering will be met with summons and arrests. Period."...as well as for his vile actions taken, it was the fallout itself being the only thing that led to Bill DeBlasio issuing the above stated apology...a sad excuse of an apology most definitely not from the heart but an apology issued to save his political career alone. Why so...simply because when politicians from both sides of the political aisle as well as the heads of major Jewish organizations...organizations that are big time Democrat party donors...chime in to call you to task you best issue an apology post-haste.

And DeBlasio half heartedly did what was expected after Anti-Defamation League head, registered Democrat and former Special Assistant to Barack HUSSEIN Obama, Jonathan Greenblatt said of DeBlasio in a tweet, “Hey @NYCMayor, there are 1mil+ Jewish people in #NYC. The few who don’t social distance should be called out — but generalizing against the whole population is outrageous especially when so many are scapegoating Jews.” And Ronald Lauder, president of the World Jewish Congress, recommended that his organization formally censure DeBlasio, while putting his two cents in with the issuing of these words, “Mayor de Blasio needs to realize that while he, like all of us, believes in the importance of social distancing, every time a leader like him stereotypes the ‘Jewish community,’ he feeds into the dangerous agenda of white supremacists and anti-Semites around the world. It needs to end.”

Now also add in that a spokesperson for the American Jewish Committee stated that, "The vast majority of the Jewish community is following the guidelines. You can find us donating blood, raising money to support our neighbors, and in emergency rooms providing critical care. We deserve better from our leaders than misplaced generalizations and finger-pointing.”

Yes, you surely do especially in light of these words issued by the Orthodox Jewish Public Affairs Council, "Only bigots have a problem when a few 100 Hasidim do what thousands of people in the same city have done the same day (not social distance)"...in reference to the previously stated earlier in the day flyover gathering.

How very right these words are.

And here are but two of the many examples on the political end. Republican Senator Ted Cruz tweeted that, “Would DeBlasio have sent this identical tweet with the word ‘Jewish’ replaced by any other religious minority? If not, why not? Laws should be enforced neutrally w/o targeting religious faith. #ProtectFreeExercise,” while Democrat New York City Councilman Kalman Yeger said it was unacceptable of the mayor to condemn an entire community saying, "Mr. Mayor, your words are unacceptable. To condemn our entire community over one group of people is something you would not do to any other ethnic group, and I know you long enough to know that you know this."

How true Councilman Yeger's words are for Bill DeBlasio would never dare...or would he...utter such words or issue such threats against the city's black or muslim communities. And yet he freely and with malice intended condemned the entire Jewish community and threatened the use NYPD force if they did not comply with his wishes, some of which was actually witnessed by the fact that while there were no arrests, a dozen summonses were issued citing social distancing violations and refusal to disperse from what was an already approved gathering. And while this seems not to be that serious of a police reaction, who knows how long it will be before the opportunity arises for this vile man to target either the Jewish community or yet a different minority or religious group with an even stronger hand.

So maybe now instead of calling Bill DeBlasio mayor, the people of New York should start calling him Fuehrer DeBlasio instead...just saying.

UPDATE: Just this past Thursday, following a 311 report about social distancing violations (translation: ratting out your neighbors) regarding another (mask wearing) albeit much smaller funeral gathering in a different Brooklyn Orthodox Jewish community, witnesses said they personally saw police handcuff a young boy. The NYPD has confirmed that a 17-year old boy was taken into custody and that 11 summons were issued, with all being for violating DeBlasio's social distancing orders. DeBlasio's true colors have indeed shown through as he has turned "New York's Finest" into his own personal "brown shirt" police force. Shameful actions at the very least as was his self-congratulatory tweet, "The time for warnings has passed." DeBlasio's war on New York's Orthodox (Hasidic) Jewish communities has now, it seems, begun with one having to wonder which minority group will be his next target.

Two Speeches…One a Winner…One a Loser

So Ted Cruz got booed off the stage on Wednesday night at the Republican convention. Did he deserve it…yes he did. But must he shoulder all of the blame…no he should not. 

Let me explain.

The Trump campaign said they knew ahead of time what Cruz was going to say and that they OK’d it. However, they also showed both naivete and poor judgment for the fact is they never foresaw that once at the podium Ted Cruz might deviate from what he said he was going to say and what he was approved to say.

But putting that issue aside I must to be honest and say that Cruz’s speech showed judgment that was anything but stellar…a deliberately divisive and quite unnerving speech in some of its content…a speech whose aim was obviously not to help unify the party but a speech that did nothing but help to widen the fracture within the Republican party's ranks. 

Beginning by ever so briefly and with vocal intonations so emotionally flat, Ted Cruz said, “I want to congratulate Donald Trump on winning the nomination last night.” And that was case closed on Cruz saying his former rival’s name again during his entire time at the podium. Cruz then immediately shifted gears and very eloquently spoke about the ever increasing number of police shootings making it personal by speaking of the young daughter of one of the officers killed in Dallas but a few short weeks ago. Shifting his message again to speak of his conservative principals and philosophy that the Constitution is truly the law of our land…Ted Cruz proved once again that when speaking about the Constitution there is no one better than him. 

But when speaking of the Democrats' shortcomings, including when he spoke about Democrats not understanding the meaning of freedom, Cruz oh so politically correctly included muslims in the very same sentence as Christians and Jews. "Freedom means religious freedom, whether you're Christian or Jew, Muslim or atheist,” he said knowing damn well that islam is not a religion but a political system hiding behind the guise of calling itself a religion. And Ted Cruz knows or should know that muslims have no tolerance for freedom religious or otherwise…one just needs to look at the very acts of terrorism they commit, the condoning silence of the muslim masses, and the sharia law they live by...all proving that freedom is a word they never intend to have be part of their vocabulary.

And when rightfully speaking that freedom means recognizing that “our Constitution allows states to choose policies that reflect local values”…Cruz used the Democrats favorite politically correct word ‘diversity’ when he added, “That is the way it is supposed to be, diversity,” instead of saying what should have been said, as in the words ‘state’s rights.' I guess Ted Cruz forgot that diversity is never mentioned in the Constitution and that diversity has no place in a constitutional discourse. 

Wednesday night Ted Cruz’s speech was obviously a campaign speech for 2020…and neither his words said nor his words unsaid, I believe, will prove to serve those aspirations well. Simply, this was not the night to do what he did or say what he said…and that's coming from someone who applauds the constitutional principals Ted Cruz stands for…because in his daring to say to “vote your conscience”…the battle cry of the #nevertrump movement of which I was (at the time) proud to be a part of…and to do so at the convention when we need to unite the party behind the very man that many of us still do not like but a man we will support and vote for…sadly shows for all America to see that Ted Cruz put his personal animosity for Donald Trump before the harsh reality that beating Hillary Clinton must be our collective focus even if it means having Donald Trump leading that march.

So, will Ted Cruz come back politically from what he knew was a gamble that might not go his way…and right now it appears it has not…a gamble I actually do not fault him for taking after all the hateful, spiteful, and oh so childish words Donald Trump said about him and his family during primary season. 

I personally think Cruz’s uncalled for and divisive choice of words will be a heavy shadow that hangs over his head come 2020, for Ted Cruz should know well that words said during a heated primary season are just words used to inflame the masses and garner votes, and that no amount of money can buy class.

And Ted Cruz just did not get that no actual endorsement of Donald Trump was needed…a simple I will vote him…a simple we must all unite behind him…or even just a few words of praise for him…would have served Ted Cruz well as they now appear to have served well another former rival…Florida Senator Marco Rubio. 

“After a long and spirited primary, the time for fighting each other is over. It's time to come together and fight for a new direction for America.”

While not at the convention in person because he is out on the campaign trial running for re-election to the Senate, Marco Rubio did appear via satellite, and gave a rightfully damning condemnation of Hillary Clinton, something Ted Cruz should also have done but did not. Saying of Hillary that, “She was a key figure in implementing Barack Obama’s shameful foreign policy record of appeasing our enemies and betraying our allies, and diminishing our role in the world…She turned her back on the fallen heroes in Benghazi and then lied about it," Rubio, a long-standing member of the Foreign Relations Committee, understands the dangers we would face with a Hillary Clinton presidency saying that Donald Trump understands that as well.

Adding that, “Unlike Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump takes seriously the threats from Islamic radicals and is committed to rebuilding our military. And unlike Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, he is committed to appointing constitutionalist judges, who will respect the proper role of the judiciary,” were words of praise for Donald Trump with Rubio rightfully saying the now Republican nominee’s name…saying his name in a positive light even after he, too, was on the receiving end of Trump’s many uncalled for nasty remarks…saying his name something Ted Cruz would not do beyond his emotionless congratulations. And this shows for all to see that Marco Rubio is indeed for party unity, that he stands with our now nominee, that he is a team player who knows who the fight must now be taken to, and why we Republicans and we conservatives must come together to get that job done…and he did all this without having to actually say that he endorses Donald Trump.

Ted Cruz should have taken a lesson from the words of Marco Rubio and maybe then he’d have gotten the applause Rubio did instead of getting booed off the stage.

“It's time to win in November,” Marco Rubio ended his words with, and Rubio knows winning means supporting and voting for Donald Trump for the alternative, like I’ve said so many times before, is indeed a hell of a lot worse.

Unity or Hillary…That is Now Our Only Choice

Many people still continue to ask me why I, a proud member of #nevertrump, #freethedelegates, and #delegatesunbound, have now decided to vote for Donald J. Trump come November, even though I do so with some continued trepidation and the proverbial clothespin on my nose. It seems what I wrote and posted just a day or so ago (http://thepatriotfactor.blogspot.com/2016/07/op-ed-truly-hard-decision-but-my_18.html) was not enough for some, so let me elaborate on it a bit and my hateful naysayers best just get over it.

Do the names Mayor Rudi Giuliani, Sheriff David Clark, former Senator Bob Dole, current Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, and former Vice-President Dick Cheney mean anything to you…they do to me. Great men in my eyes and they are all voting for Trump for like me they all are gambling on a chance for our country’s survival by voting for a political novice over the politically astute Hillary Clinton, the murderer and traitor forever to be known as the ‘Butcher of Benghazi.’

And while I do have a bone-to-pick…so to say…with Mayor Giuliani’s words at the convention where he still called the recent acts of terrorism both here and abroad ‘radical islamic terrorism’ instead of saying what it truly is…as in ‘islamic terrorism’…for remember islam is islam is islam…meaning all of islam is one and the same…I do have undying and deep respect for Rudi Giuliani for his bravery, leadership, and heroism during the actual day and weeks that followed what changed America and my life forever…a day always and forever to be known as 9/11. 

And that respect continued on when Rudi Giuliani and then Police Commissioner William Bratton initiated what is known as ‘the broken windows theory of urban decay’…a theory that rightfully surmised that by not dealing with minor disorders and violations as they happen, especially in minority and blighted neighborhoods, leads directly to a more permissive atmosphere being created that in turn leads to further and more serious crimes that can then threaten the safety of a city and its residents.

And New York City life under Mayor Giuliani did improve greatly under his leadership as he and his policies helped to lower the rate of violent crime citywide, and whose streets went from being oh so nastily referred to as ‘the mean streets’ to becoming one of America’s safest streets to walk.

So if a true leader like former New York City Mayor Rudi Giuliani…a man I supported when he ran for president…a man of indisputable character…can support, endorse, campaign, and vote for a man like Donald Trump…the least I can do considering the alternative is vote for Trump as well.

Now as for Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, a man I so admire for standing up to his fellow blacks in regards to the vile, racist, and exceedingly hateful ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement…Sheriff Clarke remains a man who stands by and champions America’s police and who in his heart knows that all the recent killings of our police lie directly at the feet of race-baiting, cop-hating, Barack HUSSEIN Obama. 

"What we witnessed in Ferguson, in Baltimore, and in Baton Rouge was a collapse of social order” Clarke said when he spoke during opening night of the convention. Adding that America’s law enforcement officers understand that race is, has, and unfortunately remains a heated issue in our country, Sheriff Clarke said that Donald J. Trump understands and supports dialogue between the races but not at the expense of the safety of our police.

So if that man whose battle cry is ‘Blue Lives Matter in America’ can endorse both Donald J. Trump the man along with his newest slogan, ‘Make America Safe Again’…then the least I can do considering the alternative is vote for him as well….for the simple fact is that without those ‘Blue Lives’ keeping our streets safe our white lives, black lives, red and yellow lives will never be safe.

Remember too, and catching us out of the blue, was Donald Trump being endorsed by former Senator and former 1996 Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole…a man I also voted for. In his calling for the GOP to unite behind Trump in order to defeat Hillary, Dole, who backed (my choice of) Marco Rubio in the GOP primary was never as critical of Trump as many other so-called establishment Republicans had been. 

Saying that, "The voters of our country have turned out in record numbers to support Mr. Trump. It is important that their votes be honored and it is time that we support the party's presumptive nominee, Donald J. Trump’…then adding that, "I plan to attend the RNC convention in Cleveland to show my support for our party and our ticket, as I have done my entire life. We must unite as a party to defeat Hillary Clinton,” the least I can do considering said alternative is vote for Trump as well…vote for him then hope and pray I did not make a mistake.

And as for former Vice President Dick Cheney, a man I have always admired and respected no matter how others may feel, he is supporting and voting for Donald J. Trump as he continues to outwardly face resistance from other Republican Party ‘elders’ and those within the party hierarchy itself, especially since he many times has criticized Trump for sounding like a “liberal Democrat.” Also, with Trump’s calling to task the George W. Bush administration for invading Iraq and failing to stop 9/11, Cheney tried to diffuse the situation by stating that Trump did not understand that times were different then, and that he has always supported the Republican nominee and would continue to so with Trump.

And part of the reason for Cheney’s endorsement…an endorsement that followed soon after the Republican ‘so-called’ elder statesmen Mitt Romney, John McCain, and George W. Bush announced they would not attend the convention…is Donald J. Trump’s wanting to reinstitute the use of waterboarding and other torture techniques when dealing with those out to kill us all…something on which I also agree for this war we currently fight must be fought with collateral damage be damned.

So again, the least I can do considering the Hillary alternative is vote for Trump as well.

Now as for Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, Marco I can speak for personally as from his own mouth on last week’s core volunteer group call regarding his Senatorial re-election campaign, Marco himself said we need to vote for Donald J. Trump because Hillary cannot become president, and that’s good enough for me. As for Ted Cruz, all convention wrangling aside…wrangling that as a supporter of #freethedelegates I stood strong with…I’m sure in the end he too will stand with Trump for like I keep saying, the alternative cannot and must not be allowed to happen.

So now that Donald J. Trump has officially secured the nomination…something Hillary so not wanted to happen…and did so with a final count of 1,725 votes on the first ballot…the party must unite behind a man who hopefully will surround himself with good people…a man who will hopefully pick a cabinet that will serve ‘We the People’ well…and a man who will hopefully appoint true conservatives to the Supreme Court as vacancies come due…because we doubters but now supporters…albeit some of us with the proverbial clothespin on our noses…will surely hold his feet to the fire to keep his promises made.

And to those in the #nevertrump, #freethedelegates, and #delegatesunbound movements, and especially to Kendal Unruh, I so congratulate you for trying your best, but as proven time and again sometimes our best just is not enough. And if only Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, and John Kasich had united together as one, Donald J. Trump would not have been the nominee as together they garnered 842 votes, meaning Donald J. Trump would have come up short by 145 votes.

But that did not happen and like I said he is our nominee and it is he…Donald J. Trump…who will get my vote. And hopefully he will get yours as well for like I keep saying, the Hillary Clinton alternative is truly a hell of a lot worse.

On Brussels, Terrorism, and Obama

While designated terrorist group CAIR whines and throws a tantrum about presidential candidate Ted Cruz saying there is need for more “enhanced surveillance” of muslims here in America in the wake of last week's ISIS admitted terrorist attacks in Brussels, our president, Barack HUSSEIN Obama, dedicated an entire 59 seconds or so to remarks about said attacks, as he was too busy kissing Raul Castro's butt at a baseball in game in Cuba, before hurrying off to do the tango in Argentina.

Turning his back on Belgium, a NATO partner and ally, these actions should not be unexpected as this is the very same man who went golfing right after he gave our nation's 'official' but so not heartfelt condolences on national television to the family of James Foley...the captured American journalist whose head ISIS cut off and then sent the unspeakable act, via video, over the internet for all the world to see...for all the world to learn and to fear the true horror that is ISIS.

And last Tuesday’s terrorist attacks in Brussels...simultaneous triple bombing attacks taking place six miles apart from each other, two at the airport in Brussels and one at the main downtown train station...were the third major terror attack on European soil in just over a year. Preceded by two attacks in Paris...the January 2015 Charlie Hebdo and Hyper Cacher kosher supermarket attacks, and the attacks at the Bataclan theater and soccer stadium in the French capital last November. And by basically shunning the people of Brussels let's not forget that this is the same man who did not attend the 'Solidarity March' where world leaders locked arms together in support of eliminating terrorism... most specifically islamic terrorism...after the above said horrific Charlie Hebdo Massacre that left over 20 dead...a massacre done simply because of magazine cartoons depicting the pedophile 'so-called' prophet mohamed upset the islamists oh so-delicate sensibilities.

And now ISIS has stated that they have over 400 operatives in Europe ready to strike again...and to strike again soon...to help assure that Europe sets its time clock back 1400+ years to the year 632 when islam began.

And with the qur'an and its 109 verses that call muslims to go to war with all nonbelievers for the sake of islamic rule...for the sake of assuring that we infidels submit to their 'made-up' god known as allah...including qur'anic verse (2:191-193) "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out” and Sura (9:5) ”...slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush...” know these are just two of the many verses of which the kumbaya sorts and bleeding heart liberals sadly still refuse to believe or accept as islamic truth.

And now we have the likes of Barack HUSSEIN Obama warning 'We the People' not to fall into the trap of condemning and retaliating against 'so-called' moderate muslims here in our country...you know the very muslims who refuse to condemn these or any acts of terror perpetrated on Westerners or on Middle East Christians for that matter. In fact, the majority of muslims, both here in the U.S. and abroad, actually condone these acts...actually celebrate these acts...for remember their silence remains deafening...all while they continue to claim that these acts of terror are justified revenge for their self-perceived ongoing killing of muslims worldwide.

Now sadly Obama's words stated upon hearing of the Brussels attack are even more chilling...more telling...for he stated that neither ISIS nor their acts should be allowed to disrupt Americans’ lives, including his own...uncaring selfish bastard that he is. Still refusing to say the words 'islamic terrorism' for fear of crossing and drawing the wrath and ire of his brethren, this most traitorous of presidents went about his merry way traipsing through Cuba and Argentina, turning a blind eye to the fact that not only were Europeans murdered that day but so were four Americans with a dozen others injured including an American military family...Americans who, at the time of this writing, still have not had their names released to the public...on just whose orders I wonder.

So instead of immediately returning home to orchestrate America's response to the attack on our NATO partner, especially with Brussels being the home of NATO headquarters, and with U.S. European Command and NATO now on high alert, Obama's lackluster response becomes even more telling of where his true loyalties lie. And while Jens Soltenberg, Secretary General of the NATO alliance, stated that, "We have decided to increase the alert state at NATO Headquarters. We remain vigilant and continue to monitor the situation very closely," Obama basically turned his and America's back on NATO and on Brussels...shades of his turning our country's back on Israel I would say.

So while world leaders unite to condemn the Brussels attack...just as they did after the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris...still in shock Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel described the attacks as a “black moment for our country,” while Britain's David Cameron calling on the world to “stand together” to defeat terrorism as Britain ramps up police presence and security checks at key transport hubs while his government is looking at increasing the number of armed response units available in the event of an attack in the UK. And while French President Francois Hollande said the deadly blasts had struck at “the whole of Europe,” adding that, "This war against terrorism needs to be carried out with cold blood," France has now deployed an extra 1,600 police officers to border crossings and air, sea and rail infrastructures including adding enhanced security measures at the UK-Belgium and UK-French borders.

And what is Barack HUSSEIN Obama doing while Europe basically gears up for all out war against islamic terrorism...a war we here in this country should be standing strong and united with our European counterparts as a secure Europe translates into a secure America...first, instead of increasing NATO spending and our military presence in Europe, Obama has basically cut our European presence by about 30% during his two terms in office, manpower needed to aid NATO in it's fight against the muslim invasion of Europe...and yes it is an invasion...and second, Obama has started the process of bringing into this country thousands of unable to be vetted 'so-called' Syrian refugees...male refugees primarily of military age whose loyalties and allegiances come very much into question.

Treason on all accounts I would say...treason as response to the bombings continues to come in from Turkey, Israel, and Putin's Russia. Turkish officials claim to have warned Belgium officials not once but twice about the terrorist ties of Ibrahim el-Bakraoui, one of the suicide bombers. And it's now being reported that Israeli intelligence agencies sent specific warnings to Belgium authorities about an immanent attack on the Belgium train station, but what was ignored by European intel agencies was the fact that intel of that type should automatically have been expanded to include airports as well, and it wasn't. And Russia's response included condolences to Belgium of course as well as expressing solidarity to join in the fight against islamic terrorism. However, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova said that the West's politics of 'double standards' had led to terrorist attacks, and that the “frozen diplomatic relations between NATO and Russia” have slowed the fight against terrorism.

Led to the terrorist attacks and slowed the fight against terrorism Russia claims forgetting that not too long ago one of their own commercial jets was shot out of the sky by islamic terrorists killing all aboard. And while muslim sympathizers continue to make excuses for the terror acts now engulfing Europe saying they are a most legitimate response to grievances against the West...and most specifically justification against America...Barack HUSSEIN Obama's lack of serious response has America aligning with the enemy instead of with our allies even though he knows well that more attacks are coming...and coming soon...with the next 'big one' saved for American soil.

So the only question that remains is will that attack happen while Obama dances the night away or will it happen while he kisses more Castro butt...or will Obama get his brethren to wait until the next president takes over so as to keep his legacy safe. A distinct possibility but at what price...Europe cannot take much more as his brethren overwhelm their borders...as his brethren destroy the very civilization from which America was born.

"Believe me"..."Believe me"..."Believe me"...said over and over again. Guess what...I believe not one word Donald J. Trump said at this years AIPAC (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, America's largest pro-Israel group) for while Trump talks the talk...sort of...he showed just how little he knows about foreign policy in regards to Israel, and the audience responded in kind with the most subdued of all the responses given to any of the presidential candidates in attendance.

Entering the hall like a despot surrounded by bodyguards, Trump read off a teleprompter like so many politicians before him... something he said he's never do or be...while simultaneously releasing his prepared remarks on his campaign website while he was speaking. And Trump, to the chagrin of many in attendance, actually used part of his time to promote his narcissistic self and his books, and to try to do damage control in relation to his recent statement said both at the last debate and on CNN that he hoped to be neutral in the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

But how can one do damage control when making such outlandish statements as first Trump saying that he had studied the Iran deal to an extent “greater by far than anybody else,” sending both the audience and myself into fits of laughter for with that one line Donald Trump showed just how little he knows about the true danger Israel faces today. And second, “We know Israel is willing to deal...” flip-flopping from what he said again at the last debate and in an Associated Press December interview when he alluded that Israel was unwilling to make the sacrifices necessary for Middle East peace...in other words Trump wanted Israel to give up even more of its tiny sliver of land to those wishing to wipe her off the map.

“My number one priority is to dismantle the disastrous deal with Iran,” Trump said, but how can that be his number one priority when he has spewed out time and again that building a wall along our southern border is numero uno with him. And really folks, to dismantle is not to eliminate the “disasterous deal” for remember Trump's interview a few months ago on 'Meet the Press' when he said, “it would be very hard for the next president to undo the deal.” What Trump seems to be pushing for with his carefully chosen word “dismantle” is just a renegotiation of the current deal, so, I call these words Trump said to AIPAC indeed pandering for the Jewish vote and nothing else.

And I also call his words, "I know deal-making and let me tell you, this deal is catastrophic for America, for Israel, and for the whole of the Middle East," adding that "The problem here is fundamental. We have rewarded the world's leading state sponsor of terror with $150 billion and we received absolutely nothing in return," the words of someone who is not as astute on deal-making as he thinks he is for the most important thing Trump is missing here is that we...the United States... should not and must not under any conditions be doing any deals whatsoever with the world's leading sponsor of terrorism...good deals, bad deals, or indifferent deals...no deals period.

"Let me be sort of a neutral guy...I have friends of mine that are tremendous business people, that are really great negotiators, [and] they say it's not doable," were Donald Trump's words regarding the Israeli/Palestinian conflict said during an MSNBC town hall just this past February. And remember, too, that last year the Republican Jewish Committee (RJC) actually booed Trump when he would not commit to recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. But now at AIPAC, Trump flip-flops on both accounts as he wants us to believe that he sides with Israel by his simply calling for the moving of the American Embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem never mentioning the waiver in the 'Jerusalem Embassy Act' that would actually allow him as president to avoid doing so.

But the truth is that Trump's now saying that our embassy would be moved in a Trump administration just masks the fact that first, Donald Trump truly does want to stay neutral in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict to protect his current business dealings in the area and second, that his heart is truly not in moving our embassy to Jerusalem as both Israel and the Palestinians claim Jerusalem as their capital, and moving said embassy would neutralize his stance of neutrality making him an enemy of those who business deals he will try to court in the near future.

Trump the empire builder will always 'trump' Trump the policy maker in the end.

And so the man whose sole Israeli foreign policy experience consists of 'lending' former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani his plane so he could fly to Israel, his having in his own words “taken a risk” by serving as the Grand Marshal of the '40th Salute to Israel Parade' way back in 2004, and his having a few Jewish grandchildren...that man did not address two issues important to Israel...those being efforts here in America to silence campus support of Israel, and the 'Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement' growing within our country. And this man now wants us to believe that he supports Israel one hundred percent in her fight against Iran and other enemies just because he says “believe me.”

NO...I don't think so for at a news conference right before his AIPAC reality show appearance, Donald Trump had the audacity to raise the possibility of first, eliminating American aid to Israel by saying, “There are many countries that can pay [to aid Israel], and they can pay big-league”...and second, by suggesting that Israel repay the U.S. for the foreign aid it has received to date. Shades of isolationist Rand Paul I would say...shades of a man who while he might be 'friendly' towards Israel is a friend Israel needs to keep a watchful eye on.

So while Donald Trump tried to suck the air out of the conference room just with his mere presence, the other two Republican candidates spoke to AIPAC as well. And while John Kasich offered a sound but predictable vision for American/Israeli relations, it was Ted Cruz who brought the house down. And Cruz rightfully pointed out that Trump’s constant use of the word 'Palestine' showed his true lack of knowledge on the history of modern day Israel when he said, “To the surprise of the previous speaker, Palestine has not existed since 1948.” By his saying those words Ted Cruz acknowledged as fact the main touch point in the ongoing Israeli/Palestinian conflict, while Donald Trump's teleprompted words gave the land of Israel an identity that goes against everything Israel stands for...and goes against everything the Holy Bible dictates.

Ted Cruz understands the problems Israel faces today and he had actual policies in place that would help defund any college or university that supports the 'Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement, against Israel; he was able to turn Hilary's 2014 well-publicized statement that Israeli rockets hit civilians in Gaza occasionally because it is a densely populated area against her by saying that, “the reason the missiles are in schools is not because Gaza is small. The reason the missiles are in schools is because Hamas are terrorist monsters using children as human shields;” and he nailed Donald Trump when saying, “My leading Republican opponent promised he, as president, would be neutral between Israel and the Palestinians,” adding that “Let me be very, very clear: As president, I will not be neutral. America will stand unapologetically with the nation of Israel”...an unwavering stance Ted Cruz has taken since even before announcing his run for the presidency.

And Ted Cruz also called Trump to task for promising that he’s going to negotiate and get a better deal with Iran by (rightfully) saying that, “Well, my view is very different...I will rip up the deal, reimpose sanctions and tell Iran to shut down (not just pause) its nuclear program or we will shut it down for you.” Tough but heartfelt talk from a man who has a deep love for Israel and a man who wants to see the Jewish State survive intact and whole.

And Ted Cruz brought the audience to its feet when he explained his personal love for Israel. Starting with, “Now some have asked, Why on earth did a Cuban American Texan become one of the leading defenders of Israel in the United States Congress?,” Cruz explained that “Israel is a liberal democracy that shares our values, Israel is a steadfast and loyal ally, and our military aid to Israel is not charity, it is rather furthering the vital national security interest of the United States of America.”

Explaining further his father's story of leaving Cuba and coming to America in 1957, by saying his father told him that, “When I faced oppression in Cuba, I had a place to flee to, If we lose our freedom here, where do we go?,” Cruz finished by saying, “And there’s only one other nation on earth like the United States of America that’s created as an oasis, as a beacon of hope, to people who have faced oppression, who have faced the horrible murder and persecution, and that nation is Israel.”

And herein lies the differences between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump not only in their speeches given at AIPAC but in their true feelings when it comes to the Jewish State of Israel. And highlighting those differences is the fact that Donald Trump sees Israel as merely sound bytes for votes, sound bytes he's learned about through perusing magazines and newspapers while listening to the talking heads on TV...while Ted Cruz immerses himself in the intricacies and nuances of foreign policy as it relates to Israel and truly sees Israel as America's closest ally and friend. “Am Yisrael Chai”...the nation of Israel lives...Ted Cruz said...simple words that proved not only to those attending AIPAC but to Jews everywhere that he is the best candidate to not only cover Israel's back but to rebuild the fences between the two nations that Barack HUSSEIN Obama has torn down.
