It’s noteworthy that the President is saving his surprise until after this year’s elections. And it’s difficult to know if he can be stopped, regardless of who wins in November.

Yet when two major, long-standing American media outlets – one leaning to the left, the other leaning to the right – both publish news and analysis detailing lies and corruption with President Barack Obama’s plan to grant amnesty to tens of millions of illegal immigrants, actual American citizens should take notice.

First, there is the left-leaning USA Today. An October 22nd headline in the Gannett-owned national newspaper read “U.S. misinformed Congress, public on immigrant release.”

But read beneath the headline, and a stark reality becomes apparent: it wasn’t the “U.S.” that did the misleading. Specifically, it was the current occupants of the executive branch of the U.S. government – President Barack Obama and staffers within his administration- that misrepresented facts about illegal immigrants flooding into the country.

The matter dates back to early 2013 when the Obama Administration ordered some 2,200 illegal immigrants to be released from U.S. jails. Officials within the Administration insisted that, because of the so-called “sequestration” government funding cuts, prisoners needed to be released from jails and it just happened to be the case that the 2,200 illegal immigrants that were turned loose were actually no danger to Americans. Their only “crime” was entering in to the U.S. without appropriate “documents.”

But now, USA Today reports that they have secured documents demonstrating that the Obama Administration’s assertions were false In the report, journalist Brad Heath writes:

“The records, obtained by USA TODAY, show immigration officials released some undocumented immigrants who had faced far more serious criminal charges, including people charged with kidnapping, sexual assault, drug trafficking and homicide.”

In the same week, the right-leaning “Washington Times” newspaper published a striking editorial detailing President Obama’s plan for an Executive Order to mandate amnesty for illegal immigrants, a plan to be initiated without a vote from the U.S. Congress and scheduled to happen after November’s midterm congressional elections. According to them, the Obama Administration is planning for upwards of 30 to 40 million new immigrants to be legalized with a stroke of the President’s pen, a move that will expand the nation’s population by a whopping 10%.

As the Washington Times notes:

When it comes to life’s guarantees, there’s death, taxes, death taxes, the tides, the Chicago Cubs not winning a World Series, and the race card being played by Democrats as an election approaches.

With less than two weeks to go before this year’s mid-term elections, that last guarantee is in full effect.

Polls show Democrats aren’t very excited at the prospect of voting next month. They’re disappointed by the president’s failures and the fumbles by their candidates. But make no mistake – they will vote, and they will vote for the Democrats.

Polls on enthusiasm are interesting but irrelevant in terms of results. The vote of people who march into a polling place with a smile on their face and all the hope in the world in their hearts counts the same as the vote of someone reluctantly sulking in the booth next to them.

It’s down to headcount now – who can get people to show up and vote.

To that end, Democrats are starting to panic. Without President Obama on the ballot, many reliable Democratic voters simply don’t care about the election. The party must do whatever it can to get those people to the polls.

Democrats worry most about black turnout, so we’re seeing efforts to “inspire” black voters to go to the polls. Their tactic is humans’ greatest motivating force—fear.

In Georgia, where Democrat Michelle Nunn is battling with Republican David Perdue, Democrats are circulating fliers telling voters to vote if they “want to prevent another Ferguson.” This reference to the shooting of an unarmed black man by a white police officer was roundly condemned by everyone except Democrats. Nunn refused to disavow it. She hopes this race-based appeal will motivate more black voters to the polls than it will turn off.

In North Carolina, a shadowy group supporting Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan distributed fliers on cars at a black church that warned, “If Kay Hagan doesn’t win! Obama’s impeachment will begin! Vote in 2014.” Those words were superimposed over an actual picture of a lynched black man and a crowd of white onlookers. The message is clear – vote for the Democrat to stop the black president from being lynched. Ironically, the white men in the picture most likely were Democrats, given the party’s history of segregation and racism.

kathleen riceKathleen Rice is not singular. The entire Democrat Party is completely compromised and sold out to Islamic supremacists, along with much of the Republican Party — thanks to Grover Norquist and Suhail Khan.

I hope Kathleen Rice is a moderate Democrat and not one of that tiny minority of radical extremist Dems we keep hearing about. But her behavior suggests otherwise. Ronn Torossian has the story.

U.S. publicly humiliates Israeli defense minister as his visit to U.S. ends

This is all of a piece with Obama’s relentless determination to blame Israel for the jihad against it and to box it in and oppose it at every turn. “U.S. publicly humiliates Israeli defense minister as visit ends,” by Barak Ravid, Haaretz, October 25, 2014:
The White House refused to give Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon an audience with Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State John Kerry, and National Security Advisor Susan Rice during his trip to the United States this week, senior American officials confirmed Friday. The reason for the cold shoulder was a number of statements Ya’alon made six months ago, in which he criticized the Obama administration and Kerry in particular.
“Given some of his comments in the recent past, it should come as no surprise that he was denied some meetings,” a senior U.S. official told Haaretz. During his visit, Ya’alon met with Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power. A senior American official told the Associated Press that the White House wanted to instruct Power to decline meeting with Ya’alon but that they had only learned of the meeting after she had consented.
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest and Department of State Spokeswoman Jen Psaki didn’t deny these reports in their daily press briefing Friday. Instead they merely answered laconically that Ya’alon’s meeting with his counterpart Hagel was “a natural, standard procedure.”
Despite the fact that Ya’alon’s requests to meet with the senior members of the Obama administration were declined over a week ago, Washington waited until the visit ended before making the story public in order to humiliate the Israeli defense minister. Senior U.S. officials leaked the story to the Israeli news website Ynet, which was first to break the story, then to the AP news agency, and after that to the rest of the press. The first reports came out just after Ya’alon returned to Israel Friday afternoon….
