On schedule indeed as Joe Biden's campaign and candidacy is imploding from within, and it's also possible that some left wing loon thought he'd be a hero by eliminating Biden's rival. Is this the case...only time and a thorough investigation will tell, but for now we know that 20-year old Thomas Mathew Crooks attempted to assassinate former and soon to be again President Donald J. Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania this past Saturday night. Thankfully, the assassination attempt failed.
And even before the proverbial dust had time to settle, the “blame game” began to take shape...as in a game where everyone but the shooter himself was being blamed for what had just transpired. A history defining moment...a moment that should have brought our nation together as it did when JFK was assassinated back in 1963...instead not so unexpectedly turned into a leftist driven, media regurgitation about Donald Trump's MAGA Republicans being the reason not only for the increase in political violence that has now become the hallmark of today's political discourse; but how Trump is not only a threat to “our democracy”...which we are not...but that he's both an authoritarian in waiting and a would-be dictator if not stopped. And this comes after Joe Biden having publicly stated on July 8th, and I quote, “It's time to put Trump in a bullseye.”
And while I do not believe that Joe Biden had any direct hand in this most grievous of events, isn't it odd that an assassination attempt on Trump's life occurred just a mere 5 days after Biden spewed the very words about a “bullseye.” What I believe Biden's words did was resonate within said shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks' leftist indoctrinated ever-sick mind that he alone would become not only a hero of the left, but America's saving grace if he could remove Trump from the presidential race. But unbeknownst to him, Crooks' actions actually assured Donald J. Trump a November win...a win that could well be “Reganesque” in scope...and rightly so.
But Joe Biden's babbling is small potatoes in relation to the actual events that
not only took place, but events that should have been, but apparently
were not, attended to before the rally even started. And while it
pains me to disparage both the FBI and the Secret Service for not
having done what should have been a routine “sweep” of the area before Trump
arrived on scene...a “sweep”
that should have included the rooftops of buildings clearly in
proximity to and in direct view of the rally venue, President Trump
would not have been shot; two rally goers would not be injured, and
Trump supporting rally goer Corey Comperatore would not now be dead. Simply, accountability must be demanded...no ifs, ands, or buts.
Donald J. Trump must win in November not just for America's sake but for the world's sake and safety as well, for world leaders are appalled at what took place. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu sums up the feelings of most world leaders in his statement that, “Sara and I were shocked by the apparent attack on President Trump. We pray for his safety and speedy recovery...for this wasn't just an attack on Donald Trump. This was an attack on a candidate for the presidency of the United States. This was an attack on America.” It most certainly was...an act of domestic terrorism in fact. And this sadly might not be the only attack on Trump as the threat of political violence sadly continues to escalate even unknowingly courtesy of those who should now be on Trump's side.
Simply, what happened on Saturday night is not the solution to America's problems... violence nor acts of misplaced vengeance never is especially when it relates to political disagreements alone. The time to start healing our country...the time to start healing and rebuilding the Republican Party...begins on November 5th with the election of Donald J. Trump as president. And these words come from a “Ron DeSantis for President” supporter not then a Trump supporter...but I am now as no circumstances nor persons otherwise are acceptable to me. May Trump have a speedy recovery...America and “We the People” cannot survive as our “Founders and Framers” intended with Joe Biden being Obama's fourth term in office. Case closed.
