Citizenship: The Cornerstone of Our Republic

...So as I write this, President Trump's “Preserving and Protecting the Integrity of American Elections“ executive order seems to be facing court challenges and delays revolving around the all-important word “citizens”...meaning the Constitution's stated words, as written, continue to be challenged by liberal judges with a decidedly anti-America/anti-Trump agenda. Better to them to make a mockery of the Constitution...one of the greatest documents to freedom ever written...then it is for them to abide by its words.

And while our “Founders and Framers” did design our Constitution in order to “establish a more perfect union, ensure justice, promote domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote general welfare, and to secure liberty,” they also made it very clear that being an “American citizen” was not just needed in establishing a government based upon both “popular sovereignty” and the “consent of the governed,” but that “citizenship” itself was to be an integral part of who were are as a nation. Economist believes US-China tariff truce could be the start of a financial revolution

Former Trump advisor Stephen Moore said such changes could trigger a 'domino effect'

Stocks soared Monday amid news of a 90-day pause on U.S.-China tariffs, and former Trump economic advisor Stephen Moore believes it could be the start of a financial revolution.

"I'm not a big tariff guy. I'm much more in favor of free trade and lower tariffs," Moore said Monday on "Varney & Co." 

However, if Trump can "pull off" his effort to strike trade deals that benefit the U.S., Moore sees justification for the method.

"It looks right now like he's succeeding," he added, pointing to stocks.

Since the dawn of his second term, Trump has imposed various tariffs on trade partners in an effort to bring these partners to the negotiating table.

China, which became targeted by Trump's most burdensome tariffs, reached a truce with the U.S. in an agreement announced Monday, signaling a 90-day cooling-off period that signals a temporary end to the longstanding trade war between the two superpowers. Read more and see video here.

'You are safe' Edan Alexander holds emotional call with mom Yael moments after release from Hamas captivity

Israel has released emotional footage showing Edan Alexander’s mom blissfully speaking to her 21-year-old son on the phone just after he was released from Hamas’ clutches in Gaza.

“You are strong. You are safe. You are home. We’ll see each other soon. I love you,” Yael Alexander said to her son, an Israel Defense Forces staff sergeant who was held captive by the bloodthirsty terror group for more than 19 months.

Loved ones could be heard squealing with jubilation, exclaiming “Oh my God!”as the overjoyed mom was handed the cell phone with her beloved Edan on the line.

“You’re out, my dear. That’s it. I’m here waiting for you. Everything’s ok, you’re ok. You’re safe and you’re home, we’re going to meet soon. I love you my dear,” she said, according to a translation provided by Israel Defense Forces and shared on social media.

Yael had received no indication her son was still alive, the last time she saw his face was during a heartless propaganda video released by Hamas last month at the start of Passover, which mocked the freedom-themed Jewish holiday.
