Just a Thought...
Due Process Must Not Take Precedence Over Public Safety
By: Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor

So some are whining that taking guns out of the hands of those deemed mentally ill denies them their right to 'due process,' but you know what...who cares. Isn't it more important that the innocent are protected from the mentally ill...I surely think so. Me and my family's right to feel safe...'We the People's' right to feel safe...and our children's right to feel safe in their schools...must always trump the rights of those wishing to do us harm.

Simply, public safety must always take precedence over 'due process.'

Calls for Boycotting Dick's Sporting Goods Growing After Company Launches Pro-Gun Control Campaign
On Wednesday morning, Dick’s Sporting Goods launched an intensive public relations campaign to push for gun control. This decision has been met with widespread applause from liberal pundits, but a growing number of gun owners and customers of the hunting and sporting goods chain are expressing their own opinions as well.

CEO Edward Stack made his firm’s opening move by issuing a press release on Dick’s official website announcing the company’s commitment to pushing for a long list of highly restrictive gun control policies in Congress. Among these are:

1) Banning “assault-style firearms”
2) Raising the minimum age on firearm purchases to 21

Speech First - the New Organization Helping Students Sue Schools that Suppress Free Speech
Students are afraid to speak their minds in class, according to a survey from the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education and the Knight Foundation. This self-censoring is thanks in part to a culture that punishes unpopular opinions.

The survey, conducted in 2016, found that free expression on campus is slowly becoming extinct. A slight majority of students surveyed admitted that the campus climate prevents them from saying what they believe because "others might find it offensive."

That's where Speech First comes in. The new organization, comprised of students, parents, faculty, alumni, and concerned citizens, is dedicated to protecting the free speech rights of students on campus - and it launches today.

Israel’s intelligence helped 30 countries thwart terror attacks in 2017
The UN can’t stop raining down condemnations on Israel for alleged human rights abuses, while ignoring actual human rights abusers around the globe. Israel is vilified and demonized on false pretenses on college and university campuses all over Europe and North America. The European Union follows the UN’s lead in smearing Israel.

But this is the reality. Israel helped 30 countries prevent terror attacks. Maybe this is one reason why the Islamic states of the world are so intent upon destroying the Jewish state.

“Israeli minister: Israel’s intelligence helped 30 countries thwart terror attacks in 2017,” World Israel News, February 27, 2018 (thanks to Mark):

Israeli Economic Minister Eli Cohen on Sunday said that Israel had issued warnings about specific terror plots to some 30 countries in 2017.
