The Truth About Michael Brown
By: Right Side Patriots (Diane Sori and Craig Andresen)

Here's your sweet innocent 'kid' that all the 'animals' are rioting for.

Our CPR Worldwide Media investigative team (Craig and Diane) and reporters on the ground in Ferguson have uncovered the following information (see photo below) about the so called 'Gentle Giant' Michael Brown.

MB was a bully, a criminal, and a gang member with a long history of assault. His mother and stepfather NEVER raised him. He was raised by his grandmother and biological father and notice how quiet they are. Neither is calling for revenge or rioting, nor are they hanging out with the likes of Al Sharpton and crew who are threatening civil suits and egging on a race war. Crying racism is BIG business and they want to capitalize on Brown's 'self-caused' death...and line their own pockets... while still hoping to send an innocent officer to jail.

Thanks to these 'animals the loss of revenue to the Ferguson-St. Louis area since November 1st is between $1.5-2 BILLION to date. Merry Christmas America from these 'animals' as our president remains silent.

These Two States Cut Medicaid…And Saved Money
Matt Vespa / Townhall Colunist

In 2012, the Department of Health and Human Services estimated that 72.2 million Americans were receiving Medicaid benefits for at least a month. Medicaid is a government health insurance program aimed at helping the poor and disabled.

Enrollment into the program is going up dramatically, according to the Institute for Policy Innovation (IPI). Both Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) are up 15 percent, or 8.7 million people, since Obamacare began enrolling people in the fall of 2013; states that expanded Medicaid coverage are seeing 22 percent growth or more.

For many states, Medicaid is the largest item of their budget. Total Medicaid spending in 2012 was $432 billion dollars, with the federal government providing $250 billion; states are responsible for the rest.

This image courtesy of IPI
Illinois and Pennsylvania were the two case studies the IPI used to illustrate Medicaid reform:
As Illinois entered its 2013 fiscal year, the Medicaid budget faced a shortfall of $2.7 billion. The state had begun implementing some of the reforms that other states are incorporating, such as shifting more Medicaid recipients into private sector Medicaid managed care organizations (MCOs), but it needed to find even more savings.
In response, Illinois state Representative Patti Bellock garnered bipartisan support to pass the SMART Act in 2012, which included several Medicaid reforms. One of the most important of those was a provision to establish the Illinois Medicaid Redetermination Program (IMRP) to "redetermine" if Medicaid enrollees were still eligible to participate.

And it did just that. Maximus recommended removing 249,912 cases by the end of February 2014, according to the state.5 By law a state employee has to review the recommendations and decide if cancellation is appropriate. The state removed 148,283 cases (representing 234,000 individuals) from the Medicaid rolls.
Protesters in Ferguson have been offered some help from none other than the Islamic State. In a clear attempt to take advantage of the growing unrest and ‘anti-authoritarian feelings,’ British jihadis have offered to send fighters to take on the police in the riot-plagued city. There is one condition, however: they must embrace Islam and pledge their allegiance to the group’s leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

The Daily Mail has the details:
Using the slogan 'From #IS 2 Ferguson', Birmingham-born jihadi Junaid Hussain, 20 - who has adopted the nom de guerre Abu Hussain al-Britani - this morning tweeted a photograph of a hand-written letter urging the Ferguson rioters to 'reject corrupt man-made laws like democracy' and declare their allegiance to ISIS' leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
The note Hussain posted on Twitter today is titled 'From #IS 2 Ferguson' and contains a promise to send militants to the Missouri city if protesters pledge allegiance to ISIS.
It reads: 'We hear you and we will help you if you accept Islam and reject corrupt man-made laws like democracy and pledge your allegiance to Caliph Abu Bakr and then we will shed our blood for you and send our soldiers that don't sleep, whose drink is blood, and their play is carnage.'
Underneath the picture Hussain tweeted: 'Accept Islam & give bayah [allegiance] to Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi & then we will send u soldiers that don't sleep! - #IS #Ferguson'.
The note was accompanied by a photograph of a number of masked young men posing with assault rifles and mobile phone cases bearing the black and white logo of the Islamic State.
It is understood the men in the photograph are militants based in ISIS-held areas of Syria and Iraq, and that one of the men is 20-year-old Hussain.
Another militant, who uses the Twitter handle @Abu 3antar Britani and is also thought to be British, tweeted: 'From #IS to #Ferguson we heard your call and we are ready to respond! #FergusonDecision #BeLikeMalcolmX #FightBack'.
A third jihadi using the nom de guerre Abu Dujana subsequently posted a photograph of a large knife being brandished by somebody wearing a glove made by the American sports brand Nike.
'For how long will you let these govts oppress u. Draw ur knives and show them a response!! #FergusonDecision #IS,' he wrote.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen ISIS try to capitalize on the unrest in Ferguson. During a CNN news report in August, a sign could be seen in the background that read “ISIS is here.”

By invoking names of black civil rights leaders like Malcolm X, it seems the terrorist group is trying to attract new converts. After all, many of them, including Malcolm X, were Muslim.

Whether ISIS will successfully make inroads in Ferguson remains to be seen, but the thought alone is chilling.

I generally don’t feel a special degree of animosity for the internal revenue service. After all, it’s the politicians who have created the 74,000-plus page monstrosity of a tax code. Blaming the IRS for enforcing that system is like blaming the police for the drug war.

This isn’t to say the IRS is blameless. Just as cops sometimes take misguided laws and enforce them is bad ways, the IRS periodically will go beyond its legal mandate because of an enforcement-über-alles mentality.

But what gets me most upset is when the IRS allows itself – either with glee or reluctance – to become politicized.

For instance, the Washington Times reveals that the IRS may have violated taxpayer privacy by giving confidential taxpayer data to the political operatives in the White House.
The Internal Revenue Service may have given thousands of confidential filings from private taxpayers to the White House to review, a lawsuit against the Treasury Department just revealed. …“[T]he Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration informed Cause of Action that there exist nearly 2,500 potentially confidential documentsrelating to investigations of improper disclosures of confidential taxpayer information by the IRS to the White House,” Cause of Action told The Daily Caller.
One possible example deals with the Obama Administration’s attack on the Koch brothers. As the Washington Examiner reported, Obama’s top economist at the time was the subject of an investigation.
The investigation by the Treasury Department Inspector-General for Tax Administration was sparked by Goolsbee’s remarks during an Aug. 27, 2010, White House news briefing in which he appeared to possess confidential tax information on Koch Industries, the private conglomerate controlled by the Koch brothers, Charles and David. …It is illegal for government officials to make public confidential tax information. Goolsbee was chief White House economist at the time. …senators requested the IG probe to determine if confidential tax records of individuals viewed by Obama as enemies were being passed around among senior staffers in the White House. …neither the report itself nor a summary of its findings have ever been made public.
Never made public? Gee, that’s mighty convenient.

Israel's ambassador to the UN this week delivered a VERY blunt message

Question of Palestine Debate
November 24, 2014
Delivered to UN General Assembly at around 4:00 PM today (Nov 24/14) by Ambassador Ron Prosor

Mr. President,

I stand before the world as a proud representative of the State of Israel and the Jewish people. I stand tall before you knowing that truth and morality are on my side.  And yet, I stand here knowing that today in this Assembly, truth will be turned on its head and morality cast aside.

The fact of the matter is that when members of the international community speak about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a fog descends to cloud all logic and moral clarity.  The result isn’t realpolitik, its surrealpolitik.

The world’s unrelenting focus on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is an injustice to tens of millions of victims of tyranny and terrorism in the Middle East. As we speak, Yazidis, Bahai, Kurds, Christians and Muslims are being executed and expelled by radical extremists at a rate of 1,000 people per month.

How many resolutions did you pass last week to address this crisis?  And how many special sessions did you call for? The answer is zero. What does this say about international concern for human life?  Not much, but it speaks volumes about the hypocrisy of the international community.

I stand before you to speak the truth.  Of the 300 million Arabs in the Middle East and North Africa, less than half a percent are truly free - and they are all citizens of Israel.

Israeli Arabs are some of the most educated Arabs in the world. They are our leading physicians and surgeons, they are elected to our parliament, and they serve as judges on our Supreme Court.  Millions of men and women in the Middle East would welcome these opportunities and freedoms.

Nonetheless, nation after nation, will stand at this podium today and criticize Israel – the small island of democracy in a region plagued by tyranny and oppression.

Mr. President,

Our conflict has never been about the establishment of a Palestinian state.  It has always been about the existence of the Jewish state.

Sixty seven years ago this week, on November 29, 1947, the United Nations voted to partition the land into a Jewish state and an Arab state. Simple. The Jews said yes.  The Arabs said no. But they didn’t just say no.  Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon launched a war of annihilation against our newborn state.

This is the historical truth that the Arabs are trying to distort. The Arabs’ historic mistake continues to be felt – in lives lost in war, lives lost to terrorism, and lives scarred by the Arab’s narrow political interests.

According to the United Nations, about 700,000 Palestinians were displaced in the war initiated by the Arabs themselves.  At the same time, some 850,000 Jews were forced to flee from Arab countries.

Why is it, that 67 years later, the displacement of the Jews has been completely forgotten by this institution while the displacement of the Palestinians is the subject of an annual debate?

The difference is that Israel did its utmost to integrate the Jewish refugees into society. The Arabs did just the opposite.

The worst oppression of the Palestinian people takes place in Arab nations.  In most of the Arab world, Palestinians are denied citizenship and are aggressively discriminated against.  They are barred from owning land and prevented from entering certain professions.

And yet none - not one - of these crimes are mentioned in the resolutions before you.
If you were truly concerned about the plight of the Palestinian people there would be one, just one, resolution to address the thousands of Palestinians killed in Syria.  And if you were so truly concerned about the Palestinians there would be at least one resolution to denounce the treatment of Palestinians in Lebanese refugee camps.

But there isn’t.  The reason is that today’s debate is not about speaking for peace or speaking for the Palestinian people – it is about speaking against Israel.  It is nothing but a hate and bashing festival against Israel.

Even if you agree with the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial, it’s easy to feel some sympathy for Trayvon Martin. Here was a 17 year old kid who wasn’t doing anything wrong, who was being followed. It’s easy to see how that could freak him out.

Unfortunately, that led to his making a bad decision. He attacked an armed man, fought well enough that he put Zimmerman in fear of his life and then got shot for it. It was a tragic case not only for Martin, who died, but for Zimmerman whose life seems to have been ruined by that day.

Although it’s sad to see anyone lose his life, Michael Brown isn’t nearly as sympathetic of a victim. He robbed a convenience store, assaulted a police officer, ignored his order to stop and then ran at the cop when he had a gun on him. What do you say about someone who gets shot under those circumstances other than he brought it on himself?

There are lessons we can learn from how these cases panned out and they’re not the ones liberals always seem to be pushing in these situations (If someone who isn’t Christian or conservative is offended, he must be right! We need another government program! Even though we have a black President, racism is everywhere in America!)

1) The initial story you hear is probably a lie: If Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton show up somewhere claiming that a wonderful black kid who was going to college was shot for no reason and nobody is doing anything about it because of racism, you can safely assume you’re being taken for a ride. The police do make mistakes. The Akai Gurley case is a great example of that. There are also bad cops out there. The cops who tortured Abner Louima in New York City fit that description. But, it's better to let a court sort through the details under oath to get the facts rather than relying on rumors and people who see dollar signs in their eyes every time someone yells "racism."

2) The Left has zero interest in discussing why black Americans are really more likely to be shot by police officers: The numbers can vary depending on whose statistics you’re looking at, but using the best estimate available, black Americans seem to be 3 times more likely to die at the hands of the police than white Americans. Could there be a possible explanation for this that goes beyond racism? Actually, yes.

Today blacks are about 13 percent of the population and continue to be responsible for an inordinate amount of crime. Between 1976 and 2005 blacks committed more than half of all murders in the United States. The black arrest rate for most offenses — including robbery, aggravated assault and property crimes — is still typically two to three times their representation in the population. Blacks as a group are also overrepresented among persons arrested for so-called white-collar crimes such as counterfeiting, fraud and embezzlement.

Percentage-wise, black Americans are much more likely to commit crimes and so, it’s not a surprise that they’re more likely to end up in potentially dangerous conflicts with police officers. Encouraging black Americans to be hostile to police officers, which is sadly all too common, only exacerbates the problem by making cops more suspicious and by making black Americans more likely to do potentially dangerous things around the police. The vast majority of black Americans are decent, law-abiding people and it’s sad that some of them are afraid of the police. That’s an issue that police departments should do much more to address, but unless they’re met halfway by community leaders who are willing to work with the cops, any effort is doomed to fail.

3) It’s time for cops to start wearing body cameras: If Darren Wilson had been wearing a body camera, the bogus “hands up, don’t shoot” meme would have never gotten any traction. Not only would body cameras help eradicate fears of abuse from officers, it would protect cops from the sort of false charges we saw in the Michael Brown case. Body cameras wouldn’t be a panacea, but they would probably make life better for both the cops and the people they’re policing.

4) You better arm yourself because you can’t count on the police to protect you: It was widely speculated that there would be riots in Ferguson if the Grand Jury didn’t indict Darren Wilson. Yet, the governor of Missouri refused to deploy the National Guard in Ferguson on the first night. Without the help of the National Guard, the police weren’t able to contain the mayhem and there was rioting, looting, assaults and arson. Even though the state of Missouri officials knew it was coming, even though they could have prevented it – they didn’t. Take that lesson to heart, get your own gun and learn how to use it so if trouble comes knocking on your doorstep, you won’t be waiting for help from the state that never comes.

5) The mainstream media is more interested in promoting the idea that America is a racist country than the truth: The mainstream media helped create the angst over Trayvon Martin and the riots in Ferguson. NBC falsely claimed George Zimmerman used a racial slur and edited his call to the police to make him sound bad while the whole media used an old picture of Trayvon Martin that made people think he was 12. On the eve of the Grand Jury verdict in the Michael Brown case, the New York Times published THE STREET Darren Wilson lives on with his new wife. Beyond those egregious offenses, the mainstream media helped create many of the initial myths about both cases, was slow to correct the facts and habitually slanted its news coverage to portray Zimmerman and Wilson as guilty, even when it didn’t fit the facts. Everyone knows the mainstream media is biased, but when its coverage plays a role in getting people’s businesses burned to the ground, it has gone too far.

6) Most people on the “Left” care more about the narrative than the truth: One of the most amazing things about both the Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown caseswas how many people didn’t change their minds one bit about what happened even after the initial stories in both cases proved to be false. Instead, many people cared more about the narrative, “White people in general and white cops in particular are shooting black people for no reason,” than what really happened. It was as if Zimmerman and Wilson had to go to jail not because they did anything wrong, but because to proclaim them innocent was a slam against black Americans.

7) “Black Leaders” are looking to ratchet up the tension, not ease it: It’s extremely ironic that most of the businesses that burned in Ferguson were minority-owned because black leaders like Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, the New Black Panthers and, yes, Eric Holder and Barack Obama helped make it happen. Yes, they gave bloodless, CYA condemnations of violence, and then went back to hyping people up instead of calming them down. See, when people get mad, they give donations. Peace doesn’t make money. Peace doesn’t get your name in the newspaper. Peace doesn’t get anyone on TV.

HHS may start reassigning your Obamacare plan every year without your consent

Lost amid the recent hubbub over the Obamacare numbers-fudging scandal is this interesting bit of news you can use: The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is considering a rules change that would allow it to drop and reassign your Obamacare plan during each year’s enrollment period, unless you expressly renew the same coverage (assuming it’s available) for another year.

In other words, if you have an Obamacare plan and you want to keep it, you’d have to tell the government that — or the government could “demote” your policy to the lowest-cost plan in that same coverage tier when it’s time to re-enroll.

“We are considering alternative options for re-enrollment, under which consumers who take no action might be defaulted into a lower cost plan rather than their current plan,” HHS explained in its fact sheet for Obamacare benefit “parameters.”

That basically amounts to yet another version of government pulling the rug out from under those who’ve bought in to its promises of better, more stable coverage under Obamacare.

“If You Like Your Obamacare Health Plan, You Can Keep It, If HHS Doesn’t Pick a New One For You,” Reason intoned in a headline late last week:
It’s not just auto-reenrollment. It’s auto-reassignment, at least for those who pick that option. Basically, if you like your plan, but don’t go out of your way to intentionally re-enroll, the kind and wise folks at HHS or state health exchanges might just pick a new plan — perhaps with different doctors, clinics, cost structures, and benefit options — for you. And if you want to switch back? Good luck once open enrollment is closed. There’s always next year.
On the bright side, customers might be afforded the option of choosing whether to participate in such an auto-reassignment program, although it’s not clear that many of them would understand the ramifications of doing so.

If adopted, the change would take effect in 2016.

Russia considering UN action on protecting Middle East Christians

Pamela Geller / Atlas Shrugs

This is America’s call. This is America’s mission advancing freedom and defense of the oppressed and subjugated. But under Obama it is the oppressor that is advanced and defended. The ethnic cleansing and genocide of religious minorities under the boot of Islam will be Obama’s legacy and forever stain our history.

As a proud American, the idea that a thug like Putin is the world leader initiating action on protecting Christians is unfathomable.

There’s a bigger problem that Ferguson protesters aren’t addressing

Prison HandsA common refrain heard from the Ferguson, Missouri, protesters and those calling for the head of Michael Brown’s shooter, Officer Darren Wilson, is that police shootings disproportionally result in black victims.

That seems to be true. But statistics on police-involved shootings are inadequate. The FBI relies on the nation’s 17,000 or so police departments to self-report. Only about 750 comply on an annual basis.

So the FBI reports that slightly more than 400 people are killed by police each year. The Department of Justice reports a much higher rate of about 700 per year. Of those, about 42 percent are white and 32 percent are black. With blacks comprising about 17 percent of the population, protesters seem to have a legitimate point.

However, another telling statistic gets overlooked — or squelched — and neither Al Sharpton nor Jesse Jackson nor Barack Obama nor Eric Holder nor any of the other “black leaders” seem to care about it. Blacks are killing each other at a disproportionate pace. Most murder offenders are black.

They mostly murder other blacks.

Blacks also commit more violent crimes by far. According to the Department of Justice, in 2010 (the last year data is available) 62,593 blacks were victims of white-on-black crime. But 320,082 whites were victims of black-on-white crime.

There’s clearly something wrong in the black community that so-called black leaders don’t seem to want to talk about. Perhaps that’s because they don’t want members of the black community to realize they’ve traded one plantation for another.

Rebuilding After The Riots: Ferguson Cake Shop Owner Grateful to Fellow Americans For Love and Support

Katie Pavlich / Townhall Tipsheet

Natalie Dubose is a single mother of two living and working in Ferguson, Missouri. Dubose runs her own cake shop in the city called Natalie's Cakes and More, a business she dedicated all of her resources to in order to make a living. Dubose started her cake business by renting out a booth at the local flee market every weekend, selling her product and eventually saved enough money to open up a store, which had it's grand opening in August.

Despite pleading with protestors, her store was severely damaged in riots Monday night, but thanks to the generosity of fellow Americans she'll be back in the kitchen in no time. After learning about the destruction, fellow citizens from around the country donated more than $140,000 to a crowdfunding site dedicated to getting her back on her feet. Hundreds of people have also placed orders for her baked goods.

"It's been amazing. I've been crying but these are tears of joy. I'm just so grateful for the outpouring of love and support from people across the country and I thank them," Dubose said during an interview on Fox News Wednesday. "This [the shop] is my baby."

"I am so thankful and I'm so grateful. If I could have arms big enough I would just hug each and every last one of them but I just want to thank everyone that has contributed to helping me rebuild my shop to helping me live my dream and to helping for me to continue to be the mom that I've been to my children, to continue providing them with the support that they need," she said.

All the best to Ms. Dubose, what a wonderful example of the American Dream she is and her cake looks really yummy too! Be sure to check out more about her story here.

Last year, Philadelphia abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell stood trial in Philadelphia for the deaths of one woman and seven babies who had their throats slit, but national reporters didn't want to cover it.

It's a "local crime story," they said. Washington Post media blogger Erik Wemple said that when he asked national reporters about avoiding the Gosnell story, the typical response was "Get out of my face with this agenda-driven stuff, and come back when you have a real story."

Ferguson, Missouri, is merely the latest proof that a "local crime story" can be elevated to national news -- when it's the liberal media's favorite kind of "agenda-driven stuff." A local story about a white cop fatally shooting an unarmed young black man in one St. Louis suburb has dominated the national news, to the point that the networks interrupted primetime TV for an announcement on whether the policeman would be indicted.

These are the same networks that refused to air President Obama's speech the week before on his immigration end-around. The entire nation couldn't wait two hours for the local news, or turn to cable news? It seems like an attempt to create an episode for the history books -- making Ferguson a destination in black history like Selma, or Sanford, Florida, where Trayvon Martin was shot.

Why is this story so much more portentous in meaning than others? Obviously, it fits a narrative that America -- and its justice "system" -- is deeply racist. As with George Zimmerman, it seems not to matter what the actual evidence is in this case. No rioter put down a rock or a Molotov cocktail to read the grand-jury report. When the prosecutor's speech aired on a split screen with a "riot cam" on the Ferguson streets, the networks were not expecting calm. They expected -- and were far too eager -- to chronicle a riot and squeeze some ratings out of the mayhem.

For those who argue Ferguson isn't an "agenda" story, let's consider some other recent stories the media won't touch. In Milwaukee, Antoine Devon Pettis, a 20-year-old black male, was charged with raping a 101-year-old woman after the crime scene DNA matched a paternity test sample. Pettis smiled broadly in his mug shot, and later in the courtroom, when he told the media, "Y'all gonna make me a celebrity."

Making this story national for even a minute would apparently be too racist, just like the Gosnell story, even though the race of the victim is less than relevant considering the horror of the crime.

In Akron, Ohio, white police officer Justin Winebrenner -- off-duty and unarmed -- was shot by a black man, Kenan Ivery, at Papa Don's Pub, where he was seated with other cops. Ivery had pulled a gun and the pub staff looked to Winebrenner, a regular customer, to try and calm Ivery. Winebrenner was shot in the torso and died. Four others, including another off-duty cop, were wounded.

So far in 2014, 45 police officers in America have been fatally shot (and 111 overall have died), according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. None of them, or their families, have received any fraction of the attention or sympathy that America has offered to Michael Brown's family.

The "wealth" of national publicity on local crimes is distributed with remarkable inequality. The exercise of "news judgment" is performed with extreme prejudice, and there will be no attempts at redistribution.

WASHINGTON - President Obama's political barometer moved from bad to worse this week after his ill-conceived, illegal executive action to rewrite our immigration laws.

With the Gallup Poll showing 54 percent of Americans disapproving of the way he's handling his job, as he clung to a dismal approval rating in the low 40s, the bottom fell out his presidency on Monday.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel was abruptly forced out of his job -- "fired" said a senior White House official -- as the evidence mounted that the administration's clumsy military actions in Iraq and Syria have failed to stem the growing ISIS terrorist threat in the region.

Insiders said Obama's action was an attempt to shore up his weakened presidential image with a shake-up of his Cabinet after his humiliating political losses in the midterm elections.

But the events of recent weeks show that any changes in his Cabinet at this stage of his presidency would be like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

This is the third defense secretary to leave the Obama administration. The first two men, Robert Gates and Leon Panetta, wrote scathing, tell-all books in their wake, taking the president to task for his thoughtless military withdrawal policies and his failure to make timely policy decisions to combat the newly-resurgent terrorist offensive throughout the Middle East.

Hagel's sudden removal in the midst of a major war on terror is the latest blundering example of an inexperienced president who has shown poor judgement in his policies and personnel.

With the next Congress now firmly in Republican hands -- effectively paralyzing his presidency over his final two years in office -- new polling data reveals that Americans are turning even more strongly against his agenda.

Days before his controversial immigration actions, polls showed nearly 50 percent of Americans disapproved of his plan to make changes in the laws that they see as the sole purview of Congress. Only 38 percent said they approved of his taking unilateral actions, according to the Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll.

Even Hispanics deserted him. Just 43 percent said they approved of him acting alone, while a hefty 37 percent of them opposed such actions.

Perhaps the most stunning rebuke of Obama's agenda was revealed last week in a Gallup poll about his signature health care reforms.

"For the third consecutive year, a majority of Americans (52 percent) agree with the position that it's not the federal government's responsibility to ensure that all Americans have healthcare coverage," Gallup reported Thursday.

This is a sharp turnaround in America's thinking about this issue since Obama was elected in 2008. When Gallup first polled this question in 2000, 59 percent said it was the government's responsibility to see that all Americans had health care coverage.

The turn-around on this issue is the result of the heavy, dictatorial hand of government mandating countless rules, regulations, fines and punitive taxes on businesses and individuals that have led to higher insurance costs, killed jobs and weakened our economy.

Millions of Americans have lost their existing health care policies in the process, because they did not meet Obama's new, mandated benefit standards. And an untold number of employees lost jobs as businesses hired more part-timers to avoid Obamacare's insurance mandates.

Jonathan Gruber, one of the Obama administration's key advisers in the development of the new law, has said that the Democrats hid many its most harmful details from the public to insure its enactment.

Meantime, little by little, the Obama economy is coming under increasing criticism from some sectors of the news media, after nearly six years of defending weak economic data and turning a deaf ear to the worst statistics.

According to a new analysis by the Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics, the decline in incomes has hurt millions of workers, but especially so for young adults who were forced to work part-time when they couldn't find full-time employment, and were paid less. In a nutshell, their wage disparity was broader than we imagined.

Since 2009, when the recession deepened, median weekly wages for full-time men have declined by 3.5 percent when adjusted for inflation.

But nearly seven million Americans (6.8 million) who are looking for full-time jobs have been forced to take part-time work. And they fell further beneath the wage disparity line as employers cut wages of newly hired workers.

Full-time workers between the ages of 16 and 19 earn 7.9 percent less than people made in 2009, according to the BLS study. And young adults between 20 and 24 earn 6.1 percent less.

The news media ballyhoos the 5.8 percent jobless rate, but does not tell you that many of these are part-time jobs in the lower-paying retail and food sectors. Nor do they tell you that since 2006, the number of workers needing full-time work, but taking these part-time jobs, has increased 65 percent.

"Wages haven't risen hand-in-hand with employment because the labor market isn't back to full health," writes Chico Harlan in the Washington Post.

There are so many Americans still looking for work in the underperforming Obama economy -- and not enough job openings to employ them -- "that employers have little incentive to boost wages," he says.

But Obama seems resolutely opposed to doing anything that would create more jobs. The Republican House voted to complete the Keystone XL pipeline and 31 Democrats joined in approving it. It failed by one vote in the Senate where every Republican supported it.

It will sail through Congress when the GOP takes full control of both houses in January, but Obama plans to veto it, even though it would create thousands of needed new jobs.
In his 967-word statement to the nation about the Ferguson grand jury decision on Tuesday night, President Obama devoted precisely one sentence to the risks and sacrifices police officers make to keep the peace.

One.

Obama delivered a tepid, obligatory acknowledgement that "our police officers put their lives on the line for us every single day." But he sandwiched it between a finger-wagging admonition that cops need to "show care and restraint" and a pandering discourse justifying the "deep distrust" that "communities of color" have toward law enforcement because of the "legacy of racial discrimination in this country."

Note: Multiple African-American witnesses told the panel that teen Michael Brown, suspected of robbing a local market, charged Officer Darren Wilson before his shooting death. The grand jury concluded that there was no probable cause for indicting Wilson after considering hundreds of pages and scores of hours of witness and expert testimony.

Yet, Obama's first priority was to dwell on racial injustice against "communities of color," and his first instinct was to warn police officers to restrain themselves.

Only after expending 756 words on the need to "understand" the "problem" that "communities of color" have with police did Obama address the thugs of color "throwing bottles" and "smashing car windows" and "using this as an excuse to vandalize property" in the name of social justice.

The Nobel Peace Prize winner had nothing to say about the hate-filled "F**k the police" refrain from rioters of color in Ferguson and anarchists of pallor in Oakland and Occupy Wall Street pot-stirrers of privilege poisoning social media.

The nation's self-styled healer of souls was mum in response to black radical grievance-mongers' calls to vengefully burn Ferguson to the ground -- a seething sentiment echoed the next day by Brown's stepfather.

Mr. Hope and Change stayed silent about the lynch-mob instigators calling for Wilson to be shot and his family murdered.

And while the uniter-in-chief has given several public shout-outs to Brown and his family, he has delivered no special national address addressing the families of police officers ruthlessly targeted by domestic terrorists and racist radicals.

Obama used his bully pulpit this week to bemoan the "real issues" of discrimination by some police officers. But he said nothing about the murderous strain of racial animus against America's men and women in blue.

It's part of a longstanding cultural war against cops that has permeated academia, Hollywood, media and "progressive" halls of power for decades -- from the "pig"-hating Weather Underground to mainstream rappers to MSNBC's Al Sharpton to high-ranking convicted cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal's advocates such as former Obama administration green jobs czar Van Jones.

And the bloody beat goes on.

In October, a militant black nationalist and jihadist vigilante attacked white New York police officers with a hatchet. Zale Thompson maliciously wounded Officer Kenneth Healey in the head and slashed Officer Joseph Meeker in the arm. Thompson was no poor, uneducated youth. He is a College of New Rochelle liberal arts alumnus and one-time master's degree candidate at Obama's alma mater, Columbia University.

As the New York Post reported, Thompson was a radical "black power" proponent who converted to Islam, obsessed over jihad, spent months consuming pro-ISIS propaganda and "wanted 'white people to pay' for slavery."

Thompson was hailed as a "crusader for justice" by the Queens chapter of the New Black Panther Party. That's the same anti-white hate group whose members instigated racially charged chaos in Ferguson; racially charged intimidation at a Philadelphia voting booth in 2008 that went unpunished by the Obama administration; and racially inflammatory threats against the innocent Duke lacrosse players exonerated of false rape accusations in 2007.

A week after Thompson waged his racist anti-cop jihad, another police officer in Washington, D.C., was ambushed by an ax-wielding assailant in a chillingly similar attack. He remains on the loose.

To these men and women of all colors on the front lines, risking their lives against homeland security threats of all kinds, Obama last night offered hundreds of lines of warning and lecturing.

But not this one word: "Thanks."

American oil will restore American greatness

177816550In the past two weeks, the imperial president, Barack Obama, has delivered two edicts that stretch the mind of a person like me who was taught right and wrong half a century ago. On the one hand, Obama declared he would likely veto the Keystone XL pipeline even after the House passed it and before the Senate fell just one vote short. Five days later, Obama declared he would act without Congress and provide amnesty for up to 5 million Mexican illegal aliens.

I’ve been following the efforts made by the planners of the Keystone XL pipeline on both sides of the border for six years as they were strung along by Obama. The architects of the plan to send oil through the United States from Canada to refineries in the Gulf were deliberate and transparent. They crossed every “t” and they dotted every “i”. In the end, it did them no good.

On the other hand, Mexicans who, by hook or by crook, illegally snuck into the United States by the millions have been rewarded for their surreptitious actions. Obama has declared that America will take them in. As for the millions of Mexican suckers who waited in line for their legal turn to come to America, tough luck.

That got me to thinking — and for this I ask you to suspend disbelief for a moment — what if the Mexicans granted amnesty had waited their turn while the Keystone planners drilled secretly under American soil and just last week Obama discovered that the pipeline had not only been built without anyone’s knowledge but the spigots were ready to be turned on? What if those jobs, whether they be 50 or 5,000 were at hand and the Keystone XL pipeline was set to deliver?

Of course, that’s a ridiculous premise. You can’t tunnel under a country. But you can tunnel under a country’s border. And when you do that, you can get a big fat reward: amnesty! Big government rewards the cheats and punishes the true.

Plenty to be thankful for

I have good news this Thanksgiving. America needs neither the Keystone XL pipeline from Canada nor all those illegal Mexicans. America needs a smaller less intrusive government and no more imperial presidents.

That’s because America is the second-richest resource nation in the world. All it takes is that we the people wake up wanting less government and fewer dictates from presidents. When we do that, we won’t have to worry about being taken advantage of by Mexican illegals, Canadian pipeline companies or our Muslim adversaries.

That is a fact because of our enormous resource wealth across our giant land mass that is home to millions of legal, industrious Americans who have not been brainwashed by the progressive left, those who insist on renewable energy and declare that Muslims have no ulterior motives and only want peace.

Those who proclaim such are the defeatists, the Jimmy Carters and the Neville Chamberlains who want us to elect another imperial president who will take away any responsibility we have for our own free will. They are quite happy with presidents like Obama and George W. Bush who coddle Mexicans and apologize to Islam because of their oil. Instead, we need a president who declares the United States is independent of Arab oil and who, without breakthrough technologies in clean energy, damns the Greens and their taxation schemes.

On Twitter, ISIS Supporters Call To Use Ferguson Protests As Cover For Lone-Wolf Attacks, MEMRI, November 25, 2014
In light of the protests in Ferguson, MO, in Ferguson itself and throughout the U.S., a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) social media group has called upon ISIS supporters in the U.S. to use the protests as a cover to carry out lone-wolf attacks. Al-Nusra Al-Maqdisiyya, a prominent group of pro-ISIS activists on social media, wrote on its Twitter account:  “O lone mujahid, you...
