Labor Daze: Majority of Americans 'Strongly Dissaprove' of Obama's Job Performance

This semi-retired president is not impressing anyone. Americans are more than twice as likely to "strongly disapprove" of President Obama's overall job performance than they are to "strongly approve," according to a recent Gallup poll:

In the first year of Obama's presidency, the percentages of Americans who had strong views about the job he was doing were essentially tied, but the strongly negative responses now significantly outweigh the strongly positive ones. The largest segment of Americans today, 39%, strongly disapprove of Obama's job performance, while 14% moderately disapprove. Another 27% moderately approve, while 17% strongly approve.

Obama's voter base has been crumbling piece by piece as his term ticks along. Millennials stepped back as Obama created one of the worst economies in history for youth opportunity; super-sizing the national debt and fostering high unemployment rates. Hispanics, Blacks, women and almost every other demographic have also begun distancing their praise from the commander-in-chief.

So who is left in the waning 17 percent who "strongly approve" of Obama's broken promises, failed foreign policy tactics, and negligent oversight of his administration? A few proud Democrats. Yet the poll's trajectory shows even this demographic is fast dissipating.

Additionally, whereas Democrats were nearly three times as likely to strongly approve as moderately approve of Obama in 2009, the ratio is now about 1-to-1. 

The honeymoon is long over. Time to retire?

“Radical” is such a ridiculous adjective. It is pure Islam, authentic Islam — there is nothing radical or un-Islamic about jihad.

Obama’s father was a Muslim, which de facto makes him a Muslim, and he is considered Muslim in the Muslim world. Take, for example, Meriam Ibrahim. Her mother was Christian and raised her a Christian. She married a Christian, lives in America and has Christian children. But when she returned to Sudan to visit family, she was arrested for “apostasy” — in other words, for leaving Islam. She was nine months pregnant and forced to give birth with her legs shackled, leaving her baby deformed. This is Islamic law. She is considered a Muslim even though she has never been a Muslim, because her father was a Muslim.

Obama, on the other hand, was raised a Muslim, and went to Islamic school in an Islamic country (Indonesia) from the ages of six to eleven. He was tops in his quran class.

Obama was “previously quite religious in Islam.”

He is pro-jihad and it is clear in his foreign policy.

There’s a reason he attacks and punishes Israel while allowing the Islamic State to grow and conquer.

Fort Bliss amps up security over Islamic State threat at US/Mexico border

Five and a half years of Obama, and the jihadis are at the border. Remember when he first took office, and the mainstream media was actually running reports confidently predicting that because of Obama, jihad terror would soon end?

“Fort Bliss amps up security over holiday weekend,” Associated Press, August 31, 2014 (thanks to Kenneth):

EL PASO, Texas (AP) — Fort Bliss says it’s taking extra security precautions over Labor Day weekend.

Spokesman Ltc. Lee Peters says the U.S. Army post has closed some entry gates to non-Defense Department personnel, and increased random vehicle searches through Tuesday.

He said Sunday that the added security comes amid recent Defense Department guidance and internal security assessments.

Peters also cited media reports that have to be “assessed” about a possible attack on America’s southern border by militants from the Islamic State extremist group that’s attacking cities in Iraq.

The Army post also has warned the approximately 30,000 soldiers and 10,000 civilians who work there to expect “future change access controls” beyond Tuesday.

Peters says new protocol is also being developed due to recent shootings at Fort Hood, Fort Lee and the Navy Yard.

It’s Labor Day; How Should We Labor?

“Labor Day” is a misnomer. It is a leisure day ostensibly designed to celebrate the labor movement. Everyone now sees it as a leisure day for barbecue, final dips in the lake or ocean and the last “blowout” of summer.

Readers of this website, especially long-term readers, are special people. Why? It’s because you have a philosophical perspective based on individualism and liberty. This means that you take responsibility for your actions and all modes of your life. You have consciously or unconsciously overridden the herding instinct that moves the crowd against its best interest.

Under the nose of an oppressive economic and social system, you have made decision-making a conscious choice. You abhor the herding impulse of the crowd and the political system.

You seek out and evaluate options in your personal lives in health, finance and survival. Look at yourself as a rarity in this day and age.

You who believe as I do are a peculiar people who read and search through the hype and nonsense that move the crowd. Believe me when I tell you that steady reading makes you different and provides you with the capacity to evaluate reality and the options that you should take. Your knowledge base lies far above the mean.

Please don’t ever cheat yourself by slacking your study and your quest for information. No, you’re not too busy to read and learn. If you think that you are, you are grossly confusing cause and effect in this life.

You can and will find your own promised land in this life, set apart and above the herd. The only way to do this is through personal and daily growth by and through the love and practice of reading. There is no other way.

Put down the mundane, the simple and the frivolous. Your reward and self-satisfaction will be unbelievable. You will consciously rise above the crowd and, yes, your “friends.” Your knowledge will be far and above that of the elitists and their enablers: the low-information voters.

An ever-expanding mind brings joy, satisfaction and love of life on a higher plane. Compare yourself and the people around you. It’s your mind that is different and that has provided you with choices that bring you liberty and happiness, all because you cultivated the love of mental growth through daily reading. You are different. You forsake conventional wisdom and the propaganda of state worship.

An expanding mind feeds on itself with ever-greater patterns of thought, logic and reason.Life is a gold mine only if we dig it out. How wonderful it is to talk to other “gold miners” who are daily digging out the nuggets. That’s the purpose of this forum.

Spiritual and material advantage comes abundantly to those who read. And reading keeps the mind sharp. This is especially true in seniors.

The more we read, the greater our spiritual and material reward, the greater our joy and love of life, and the better our health. Just imagine the great riches our children and our posterity will inherit from the knowledge and wisdom we’ve gained and passed on. This is a great secret that most in the world does not know and will never discover, but you have.

It is difficult to escape that small social mentality that makes you dependent on the ebb and flow of the mass social mood. Most people who are full of themselves are full on nonsense and small-mindedness.

The daily noise of the TV and the controlled media is organized confusion to steal your quality of life. Avoid them. They suppress the mind and cause it to dwell upon petty nonsense, leading to the lazy herding instinct. Man’s destiny is to grow every day to its full potential as given to us by our Creator, to develop individually a thousand virtues that the idle and the vain never know.

You can harness the world to your advantage. Are you reading serious material and books daily? This is how you should labor.

Op-ed:
ISIS Is Coming to America...If They're NOT Already Here

- Texas Governor Rick Perry's words when asked if he believes ISIS is coming to attack the U.S.

And so it seems that our State Department has now issued yet another of its many 'travel warnings' for Americans going to Mexico...another warning to remain ever vigilant as “organized criminal groups” threaten the safety and security of Americans traveling in that country.

"Organized criminal groups" my eye...they're talking about ISIS but dare NOT admit it. And they know that it's just a matter of time before ISIS enters our country through our unsecured southern border...and worse...they know that some ISIS members already have.

Fact: our southern border is NOT secure meaning 'those out to kill us all' could very well sneak into our country lost amongst the hoards of ILLEGALS...hoards that show NO real sign of abating. And with ISIS believed to already be in Juarez, Mexico (which is just across the border from El Paso, Texas), this means that any and all acts of terrorism coming across the border...along with any American deaths resulting from those acts of terrorism...I believe...falls squarely on the shoulders of the traitor in the White House...Barack HUSSEIN Obama...for deliberately and purposely NOT sealing our borders.

Fact...while NO specific or verifiable threats to target the U.S. have been made...at least NOT yet that is...a Texas law enforcement bulletin from last week...a three-page 'situational awareness' bulletin called 'ISIS Interest on the U.S. Southwest Border'...along with ongoing radio chatter and social media postings that are increasing in number as the 13th anniversary of  9/11 fast approaches...all point to the fact that ISIS is going to “carry out an attack on the border.” And these attacks will most likely start out with isolated car bombings then increase in number, intensity, and mode of operations. And this in turn has forced Homeland Security along with the Justice Department and numerous Defense Department agencies to be placed on alert to work any and all leads coming in that relate to the strong "possibility of an imminent terrorist threat."

Fact...the government watchdog group, Judicial Watch, has accused Obama and his administration of covering up the increase in crime along the Mexican border, especially the news that heavily armed drug cartels have taken over portions of the area. Judicial Watch also says that Border Patrol officials actually ordered officers to avoid the most crime-infested areas because they’re “too dangerous” and patrolling them could result in an “international incident” of cross border shooting... reminiscent of 'Fast and Furious' NO doubt. And let's NOT forget the infamous words of ex-Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and 'Prince' Harry Reid when both said that the southern border is “as secure as it has ever been.”

When pray tell has our southern border ever really been secured...just saying.

And while Napolitano and Reid, along with the usurper in the White House, appear to some as totally and completely clueless, they are in reality actually calculatingly clever in their ignoring of the facts...facts like the ones I've mentioned above in addition to the fact that ISIS is making more than $2 million a day on the black market by selling crude oil captured from Iraq and Syria, which means they have a source of continuous funding from which to finance their operations. And lastly, ignored is the fact that terrorist groups use drug cartels...like those operating in Mexico...to cross borders...as in they help the drug dealers transport their drugs and in return the drug dealers help them get into their country of choice...and right now their country of choice is our beloved America.

And they all know it...the entire Obama administration knows these facts yet what does Obama say in regards to these facts, “I think what I’ve seen in some of the news reports suggest that folks are getting a little further ahead of what we’re at than what we currently are.”

Oh really...NO way...for I believe Barack HUSSEIN Obama is deliberately turning a blind eye to the facts so that his brethren can start their march across America unimpeded as they ultimately join up with terrorist groups already here...terrorist groups like the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR whom Obama and crew have welcomed into our country with open arms. And now with Obama's policies having basically sold out all our allies and friends, I doubt anyone will be coming to America's rescue any time soon.

And while British Prime Minister David Cameron raises his country's terror alert level to 'high,' Obama does NOT a thing on our end as Homeland Security so-called expert Ron Bee says, “I’m sure that Homeland Security would raise the level when they saw fit because they’re all professionals and have been working there since 2001.” I guess he...like so many others tied to this administration... forgets a little 'incident' known as Benghazi (remember, our foreign embassies are indeed on American soil, so to speak, thus they too come under the auspices of Homeland Security to some degree).

And the bottom line NO matter how hard this administration tries to hide the truth is that 'We the People' must know that ISIS is NOT just a far away threat 'over there' but that ISIS is coming to our country just like al-Qaeda did before them. And it must also be known that ISIS and the Mexican drug cartels do indeed 'chat'...if you will...back and forth with each other, and that these 'narco-terrorists' (as Rick Perry calls the cartels) use the same tactics against their opposition as ISIS does against theirs...as in beheading them and bragging about it all over the social media...making them 'blood brothers' of sorts...and that the drug cartels will provide safe passage for anyone trying to cross our unsecured border for a price.

And with ISIS reportedly having assets of nearly $2 billion plus from which to draw upon to feed their blood lust...money is NO object to them. And sadly, some of that money might very well be used to buy their way across our unsecured borders as Barack HUSSEIN Obama slyly looks away.
