Florida Restaurants Add Obamacare Fee

When customers at the Florida restaurant chain Gator’s Dockside get their tab they might find an unexpected deduction—a 1% Obamacare surcharge.

Signs outside the restaurants warn:

The costs associated with ACA compliance could ultimately close our doors. Instead of raising prices on our products to generate the additional revenue needed to cover the costs of ACA compliance, certain Gator's Dockside locations have implemented a 1% surcharge on all food and beverage purchases only.

The company implemented the fee in preparation for Obamacare’s 2016 employer mandate (which has already been delayed twice). Under the mandate employers with more than 50 full-time workers must provide Obamacare for their employees. Ignoring the mandate results in a penalty of $2,000 for each uninsured employee.

Obamacare also cut the hours an individual can work as a part-time employee. Prior to the legislation, up to 34 hours a week was considered part-time. Now, anyone with at least 30 hours will be considered a full-time employee.

Gator’s Group is simply trying to keep the employees that they have worked hard to train, Director of Operations Sandra Clark explained. It will cost the company an estimated $500,000 a year to comply.

The surcharge could pick up around $160,000, Clark surmised.

This is surcharge is merely one more example of the burden Obamacare has placed on thousands of individuals across the United States.

Obama Must Go

As Obama moves from one disaster to the next disaster, it’s clear that he’s lacking the support from citizens here at home, is viewed skeptically by people abroad, and lacks the respect from foreign leaders that the Great Seal of the United States should confer on any president.

“A CBS News/ New York Times poll out tonight find only 40% of Americans are satisfied with the presidency of Barack Obama,” reported CBS News last week. “59% say they're disappointed.”
Only 59 percent? What’s wrong with these people?

Obama’s been beaten on Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and now in Ukraine.

He’s made enemies of allies such as Israel, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

Europe, for the second time since the Prague Spring, is hearing the goosestep march of Russian troops in Europe under the leadership of their new Man of Steel, Vlad the Impaler Putin, as Russians tear apart the Ukraine.

Under Obama’s leadership Russia has begun to sweep up the scattered pieces of their old, lost, iron empire.

And for those who think that Russia is just going into their own back garden, use Google to find out what that means.

Obama, according to our friends over at the Weekly Standard, in response has skipped another national security meeting.

This is how wars start, people.

And just because it won’t happen next week or next year, doesn’t mean I won’t eventually tell you I told you so. Although you’ll probably have died in a thermonuclear blast by then, so I won’t have the satisfaction of you hearing me.

And I’m only slightly joking.

Are we in the United States more secure or less secure than we were six years ago?

Less secure, and it’s growing more acute by the day.

Almost.

That would be true, but we have lost our marbles a long time ago.

Because Obama’s brand of bungling isn’t limited to foreign affairs, although our problems overseas will be harder to repair than the ones at home.

Before the newest “Greatest Crisis Ever” Obama created in the Ukraine, he was still mired in the multi-year botched attempt at implementing the newest “Worst Legislation Ever” in Obamacare.

Prior to that, he was administering the “Worst Recovery Ever,” after squandering the “Most Money Ever” on stimulus programs that did not stimulate anything.

If John McCain in 2008 had produced a commercial pointing out the real missteps, the incompetence and pure overall stupidity that we have witnessed from this administration for the last six years, Oprah Winfrey would have said “He’s just saying that because Obama is black.”

Which gets us to the question: How on earth did a great nation elect such a strange, unqualified and incompetent man president of the United States, twice?

And no, it’s not because he’s black.

It’s because the GOP is stupid.

The GOP is still more interested hassling their own, than they are in beating Obama.

If Republican National Chairman Reince Priebus and the RNC spent more time worrying about Obama and less time worrying about Sen. Ted Cruz and Lt. Col. Allen West, perhaps they wouldn’t have been bested in 2012.

For all the faux handwringing that the establishment went through about Cruz’ filibuster on Obamacare, he was right, and they were wrong.

It’s time to get stern, to get hardened and to stop playing prevent defense.

It’s time the GOP told the truth: This has been the worst administration in the history of the Republic, and it’s past time for Obama and his enablers* to go.

Obama pushing Israel to stop assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists

After all, we’re friends now with Iran, so such a program is unnecessary. They’re all moderates now, such as Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, who recently said: “Death to America is the first option on our table,” and Iranian Chief of Staff Hassan Firouzabadi, who said: “Iran is prepared for the decisive war against the U.S. and the Zionist regime. Iran has been making plans, conducting maneuvers, and preparing its forces for this battle for years now.”

WASHINGTON — As Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flies to Washington – due to arrive on Sunday (March 2), to prepare for talks with President Barack Obama at the White House on Monday – it’s clear that there are several points of friction between Israel and the United States.

The two countries are allies, but their leaders often differ on the details of key issues: Israel’s peace talks with the Palestinians, America’s nuclear talks with Iran, how to approach political turmoil in Egypt, what might be done to limit Syria’s horrible civil war, and a broader issue of whether the Middle East sees President Obama as a powerful, influential leader.

Recently, as I sought to update a book I co-wrote about the history of Israel’s intelligence agencies, sources close to them revealed that they felt pressure from the Obama Administration – more than a hint – to stop carrying out assassinations inside Iran.

Although Israel has never acknowledged it, the country’s famed espionage agency – the Mossad – ran an assassination campaign for several years aimed at Iran’s top nuclear scientists. The purpose was to slow the progress made by Iran, which Israel feels certain is aimed at developing nuclear weapons; and to deter trained and educated Iranians from joining their country’s nuclear program.

At least five Iranian scientists were murdered, most of them by bombs planted on their cars as they drove to work in the morning. Remarkably, the Israeli assassins were never caught – obviously having long-established safe houses inside Iran – although several Iranians who may have helped the Mossad were arrested and executed.

In addition to strong signals from the Obama Administration that the U.S. did not want Israel to continue the assassinations, Mossad officials concluded that the campaign had gotten too dangerous. They did not want their best combatants – Israel’s term for its most talented and experienced spies – captured and hanged.

President Obama – much to the discomfort of Israeli officials – is pursuing negotiations with Iran. The United States is one of the P5+1 nations, continuing to talk with the Iranians about rolling back some of their nuclear potential….

Obama again sides against freedom

Oh dear...Vladair Putin must be shaking in his boots...sarcasm intended...as John 'Swiftboat' Kerry condemned what he called "the Russian Federation's invasion and occupation of Ukrainian territory."

And with those words out of the mouth of an American traitor, Russia's Parliament signed off on Putin's request to send military forces into the Ukraine. Now the next move is Obama's in this high stakes chess game of who will get checkmated first...the U.S. or Russia. But with Putin building up his military and Obama downsizing ours the answer seems quite obvious.

The Cold War has indeed returned thanks to the weak military stance of Barack HUSSEIN Obama, but this time with a fuse ready to be ignited into a full blown war as the Ukraine is the fault line lying between the Russian East and the American West.

And with Obama's and the Western response being for the most part symbolic at best...as in putting plans on hold to attend the upcoming G8 summit in Sochi (big freakin' deal)...and with a few countries recalling their ambassadors...Putin must be sitting back in his chair laughing his head off for here Russian armed forces have already crossed a sovereign nation's borders with the intention of militarily taking over that country, and Obama's response is but a slap on the wrist. But Putin is also a bit of a blowhard and braggart...just like Barack HUSSEIN Obama is...who will call down his military if and only if he gets the Ukraine back under his control just by utilizing threats of war. And rest assured that Vladimir Putin knows how to turn threats into his wanted reality...remember how he manipulated the Syrian WMD disarmament agreement while he further emasculated Obama...and unfortunately America...in the eyes of the world.

Also remember, Putin has wanted to reabsorb the Ukraine back into the Russian motherland for a long time now for the Ukraine is considered the 'cradle' of Russian civilization, and bringing it back into the Moscow fold would seal his goal of returning Russia to her former glory as a superpower NOT to be messed with. And now that it's plain to see that Putin's in control of the game as Obama bloviates that "Any violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity would be deeply destabilizing, which is not in the interest of Ukraine, Russia, or Europe," with NOT a word being said of the possible effects this could have on the U.S. or our allies, this translates into Barack HUSSEIN Obama basically giving Vladimir Putin free reign to do as he so chooses in regards to the Ukraine and her 46 million people.

"It's a naked aggression against Ukraine" said Ukraine's interim President Oleksandr Turchynov in a personal appeal to Putin to stop his military intrusion and withdraw from the Crimea...but his pleas are being met with deaf ears as Russian troops go deeper into Ukrainian territory.

And so with words coupled with a lack of action similar to his inaction when the Iranian students protested for freedom just a few short years ago, Barack HUSSEIN Obama has turned his back on yet another nation fighting for its freedom, and know that the Ukrainians will NOT forget this.

And as conflicted reports leak out that Russian troops have taken over control of Kiev's Simferopol International Airport, tensions are running very high and are ready to boil over into full-fledged war. So even though the Ukraine's Defense Ministry has ordered a call-up of its reserves...meaning all men up to age 40...it's a given that the Ukraine cannot stand alone against Putin's army and naval forces...armed forces that Putin has spent billions to upgrade and modernize after they were decimated by the breakup of the old Soviet Union. In fact, Moscow's 'special units' are equals to that of our own, and that does NOT bode well. And with NATO unwilling to send in troops to help stabilize the Ukraine, and with Obama vowing NOT to get the U.S. militarily involved coupled with Putin's large scale combat 'readiness exercises' involving 150,000 of its troops still in progress along its western and southern land borders, Cold War brinkmanship is coming dangerously close to the explosive stand down of the U.S. vs. Russia during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

And adding to this situation is the fact that the Ukraine's population has divided loyalties between Russia and the West, with the western Ukraine wanting closer ties with the European Union, while the eastern and southern regions want to stay aligned with Russia.

And guess what is the true basis for all this current atomicity...energy. Energy and dollars...energy in the form of oil and natural gas for a country that is the chief conduit of Russian natural gas to western Europe...and monies the Ukraine needs to avoid default.

And while the Ukraine has appealed for help from NATO...and been refused...as well as to Britain and the U.S....co-signers with Moscow to a 1994 accord guaranteeing Ukraine's security after the breakup of the Soviet Union...the International Monetary Fund has said it is "ready to respond" to the Ukraine's needs of $35 billion to avoid default.

But even that is too little too late for the bottom line is that in the end Putin will retake the Ukraine one way or another as Obama sits back, watches, and basically does NOTHING to help a country who already had won it's freedom from Russia and wants desperately to keep that freedom. Maybe if we could have threatened retaliation with a military to be feared and respected...like the one we used to have before Barack HUSSEIN Obama took office and as their Commander-in-Chief demoralized, shamed, and defamed those who he has forced to fight with their hands tied behind their backs (and our enemies know that)...we could come to the Ukraine's aid with force instead of just blowing hot air consisting of mere useless words. But the fact is that we NO longer can as the budget cuts being done are being done at our military's expense, and brings us to levels of an army as small in numbers as those of pre-WWII...numbers so small that it leaves us dangerously close to NOT even being able to protect ourselves.

And I can guarantee that if we had a president to be feared and a military that was allowed to fight to win, Vladimir Putin would NOT be doing what he is now doing...and that is something Barack HUSSEIN Obama built and owns...period.
