Make the Democrats Own Obamacare

At my age I'm pretty sure I don't need maternity care. 

 

At her age I'm pretty sure my granddaughter doesn't need health insurance for her end-of-life needs.

But what do I know? I'm just a dumb citizen.

According to the architects of Obamacare - if you can call the Democrats who designed President Obama's signature failure "architects" - I can't be trusted to buy my own health insurance.

The architects of Obamacare in Washington, all Democrats, decided six or seven years ago they knew what the best health plan was for everyone, rich or poor, healthy or sick, old or young, Californian or New Yorker.

For them health-care choice was never an option for individual American citizens - it was one-size fits all.

They decided that every American human being, no matter what their sex, age, health or personal needs or desires, deserved Cadillac care for any possible sickness or service.

Just in case you might desire to change your gender someday, for instance, you'd be covered for the necessary surgery ---- and get to pay for it in your insurance premium today.

When they drew up their plans the architects of Obamacare promised the moon but they delivered the usual piece of government space junk.

Trump to Angela Merkel on Wiretap Claims: 'We Have Something in Common, Perhaps'

President Donald Trump Friday refused to directly answer about members of Congress debunking his wiretap claims by the Obama administration at a news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel — saying only that "we have something in common, perhaps."

"As far as wiretapping, at least I guess, by this past administration, at least we have something in common, perhaps," Trump said while pointing to Merkel, who did not respond to the president's comment.

The question was posed by a German news reporter.

In October 2013, the German government obtained information that the United States might have monitored Merkel's mobile phone — and she had called President Barack Obama to demand a clarification on the issue.

Merkel had told Obama that if such surveillance had occurred, it would represent a "grave breach of trust" between the allies, her spokesman said at the time.

However, the White House said then that Obama had assured Merkel that the United States "is not monitoring and will not monitor" her communications.

Immigration jihad, population jihad, academic jihad, violent jihad, workplace jihad, economic jihad, legal jihad — every which way, they’re coming at us.

Mark Steyn tackles the population jihad in his excellent book, America Alone: The End of the World As We Know It. Ten years ago, Steyn foresaw this: “It’s the Demography, Stupid.”

Most people reading this have strong stomachs, so let me lay it out as baldly as I can: Much of what we loosely call the Western world will not survive this century, and much of it will effectively disappear within our lifetimes, including many if not most Western European countries. There’ll probably still be a geographical area on the map marked as Italy or the Netherlands–probably–just as in Istanbul there’s still a building called St. Sophia’s Cathedral. But it’s not a cathedral; it’s merely a designation for a piece of real estate. Likewise, Italy and the Netherlands will merely be designations for real estate. The challenge for those who reckon Western civilization is on balance better than the alternatives is to figure out a way to save at least some parts of the West.

Every Muslim woman in the West has an obligation to jihad. As Europe imports millions from the Muslim world, the women bring this with them.
