“Since World War II, some of our most costly mistakes came not from our restraint, but from our willingness to rush into military adventures without thinking through the consequences -- without building international support and legitimacy for our action; without leveling with the American people about the sacrifices required,” President Obama said during his commencement speech at West Point.
But graduating cadets were certainly not the only ones listening--Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei heard what our president had to say about our foreign policy and interpreted it as a sign of our weakness.
Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has taunted President Barack Obama, claiming that the U.S. no longer has the guts for battle.
Speaking at an event commemorating the 25th anniversary of the death of his predecessor, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khamenei, the 74-year-old Shiite Muslim cleric proclaimed that 'military attack is not a priority for Americans now.'
He stood on a podium amid banners boasting 'America Cannot Do a Damn Thing' as he reacted to a speech President Obama gave to West Point last week. […] Khamenei took the president's message to mean, 'They have renounced the idea of any military actions.'
'They realize that military attacks are as dangerous or even more dangerous for the assaulting country as they are for the country attacked,' the ayatollah said in the Tehran speech Wednesday, the New York Daily News reported.
The gibe comes as President Obama is being critisized for negotiating with Taliban to swap five hardened terrorists for suspected deserter Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.
Obama still insists America can still use its military to resolve Iran's nuclear threat but in the West Point speech, he claimed 'Just because we have the best hammer does not mean every problem is a nail.'
Unfortunately under Obama, Khamenei isn’t too far off base with his observations. The president's speech was widely denounced in the U.S., too. Those on both the left and right called it a defense of weakness, horrible, ludicrous, and disturbing. Only the best from our commander in chief, of course.
So it comes to this: After all that has been said about Barack Obama, in the end there is very little to say.

You are either willing to overlook Barack Obama’s foibles and foolishness; or you aren’t. We we're right, you were wrong. You can either admit or you can't.

There is no middle ground.

There is no saying for example “Well he’s kind of new in the job,” or “This is an example of one bad apple in his Cabinet,” or “The president didn’t know about it.”

Going into his second term, you either knew what we had in Barack Obama or you didn’t.You knew we were right and you overlooked it, or you knew we were right and you didn't.

For myself, I’ve never been willing to overlook the least ready of all presidents; nor have I ever been willing to give the least steady of presidents a free pass on issues.

Getting past his ideology, however, I was certainly willing to be dazzled, like most everyone else.

I was prepared for the post-racial America; for a Great Communicator, who at least on some things, would lift us all up together.

I was looking forward to a day when race, creed, ethnicity, didn’t have to be the issues that drove us apart.

I was impressed when Obama defended private insurance against Hillary’s single payer system; I was impressed that he was willing to tangle with Jesse Jackson, Sr. during the 2008 campaign. He put his prestige on the line to talk about personal responsibility to group that often hears those words like a lecture.

When he was elected, I was willing to celebrate the great racial divide that had been bridged in this country by electing a black man within the living memories of those who helped craft segregation.

In all these things, I was hopeful that the office of the presidency would lift up Barack Obama and with it, the rest of us, as it did Harry Truman, Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson.

I have, after all, survived many presidents I did not agree with, and could even something find something I could cheer in them.

But what a disappointment this man has been.

There has been no level of discord to which he has not been willing to drive us.

There have been no principles that he has not been willing to abandon.

There has been no opportunity lost to use our country for personal, political ends.

There has been no hesitation in manipulating, gaming, and otherwise using Washington, D.C. as a blood sport.

The deception he perpetrated on the American people is rivaled only by the deception he perpetrated on his party.

And if the stakes weren’t so grave for the country, I would laugh.

Someone is going to have to clean up this mess.

One day the Democrats are going to have to regain the trust of all Americans. They are the party of the Chosen One; they will not get a free pass on spying, or the Boston bombing, or Benghazi, or Eric Holder, the VA, Obamacare, Fast and Furious, the carbon tax, Bowe Bergdahl or scandals yet to be discovered.

And this isn’t socialist Europe.

We all expect to rise.

And when we don’t rise, we’re going to blame someone.

When we get bogged down, as we have, in the self-love of a man who adores his own reflection in the surface of a teleprompter because-- more or less-- he can read the same "great" speech over and over...well let's just say that's not an America built to last.

Since it remains highly unlikely that anyone, anywhere including: 1) members of Congress; 2) the Media; 3) the Democrat Party or 4) European automotive journalists, will ever, anytime hold Barack Obama culpable for his sins, it is certain that eventually some will hold his party responsible instead.

It’s a cautionary tale for Democrats.

“Jim Jett always used to say that his brother was the damnedest scoundrel that was ever borne,” drawled Abraham Lincoln, “but by the infinite mercy of providence he was also the damnedest fool.”

It’s the virtue of this Republic that eventually fools are found out.

Yet, it remains to be seen what anyone, anywhere will do about this particular fool.

The Case For Obama’s Impeachment
The Case For Obama’s Impeachment

There is clear and convincing evidence that President Barack Obama has on numerous occasions willfully committed treason and high crimes and misdemeanors and should be removed from office.

The “crimes” that led to the impeachment of both Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton and the resignation of Richard Nixon pale in comparison to Obama’s. Johnson’s “crimes” were purely political. He favored a policy of benevolent reconciliation with the Southern States following the Civil War. He issued a series of proclamations that directed the Southern States to hold conventions and elections to reform their governments; he attempted to veto a number of bills establishing military districts to oversee the new State governments; he vetoed an incumbent protection act called the Tenure of Office Act; and he fired Secretary of War Edwin Stanton, who was working against him at every turn.

Those moves were all contrary to the wishes of the Republicans who controlled both houses of Congress in the aftermath of the war. The impeachment vote in the Senate failed by one vote on all three counts to receive the two-thirds majority necessary to remove Johnson from office.

Clinton was impeached for perjury to a grand jury and obstruction of justice in the Paula Jones sexual harassment suit and the related independent counsel’s investigation in the Monica Lewinsky affair and various other Clinton misdeeds. Forty-five Senators—all of them Republican—voted to remove Clinton from office over the perjury charge. Fifty voted to remove him for obstruction of justice.

Though Clinton was clearly guilty, not one Democrat in the Senate voted to impeach. And, in fact, the Senate voted 100-0 to not hear any live witnesses in the trial.

Kerry: 'Baloney' to Think Released Taliban Will Kill More Americans
By Greg Richter

Secretary of State John Kerry says it's "a lot of baloney" to suggest the five Taliban prisoners released in exchange for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl will return to battle and kill Americans.

Still, he tells CNN, if they try they'll likely be killed themselves.

In an interview recorded in France and aired on CNN's "State of the Union" on Sunday, Kerry said the government of Qatar, which agreed to keep watch on the men for a year, aren't the only ones with an eye on them.

When asked if that meant the United States would be monitoring them, Kerry wouldn't be specific, but said that if the former prisoners don’t meet the requirements of their release the United States has "the ability to do things."

"I'm not telling you that they don't have some ability at some point to go back and to get involved," Kerry said. "But they also have an ability to get killed doing that. And I don't think anybody should doubt the capacity of the United States of America to protect Americans."

He said that the freed Taliban detainee who already has vowed to return to kill more Americans is simply engaging in propaganda.

"Propaganda is propaganda, and they'll say whatever they want to stir the waters," he said.

As far as questions relating to Bergdahl's disappearance — some of his former platoon members say he walked away willingly — Kerry said there is plenty of time to sort through what happened now that Bergdahl is safe from enemy hands.

It would have been, he said, "offensive and incomprehensible to consciously leave an American behind … in the hands of people who would torture him, cut off his head."

Praying with the enemy will NOT bring peace
By: Diane Sori

"Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are those who disbelieve, then they would not believe." (Shakir: 8:55)

We had such high hopes for Pope Frances, the so-called 'People's Pope' but now our hopes have been dashed as islamic prayers and passages from the qur'an are echoing throughout the ancient halls of the Vatican.

Pope Francis, in trying to extend an olive branch to the Israeli's and the Palestinians, has actually slapped all people of the Christian faith in the face for these are the very people who are slaughtering Christians...slaughtering Catholics...throughout the Middle East and North Africa, and he's doing so by cow-towing to these people...people who are also outwardly calling for the annihilation of the Jewish of state of Israel.

And know that the head of the Holy Roman Catholic Church knows well the words of the qur'an ...knows of the hate spewed forth upon its pages...knows well that the qur'an promotes violence, hate, and war. And he knows that the qur'an calls for forced conversion of all Catholics to islam...and he knows that the qur'an speaks that all non-muslims are Qafir...non-believers. And Pope Frances very well knows that any and all who oppose islam are free game to be hunted down and slaughtered simply because the qur'an says so...commands so...and that there are 109 verses that call for muslims ...all go to war with nonbelievers for the sake of islamic rule...and to do so in the name allah.

And his Holiness also knows that unlike the words of war in the Old Testament, the words in the qur'an do NOT relate to the historical context of the surrounding text, but are part of the NEVER changing ideology of islam...of allah...part of the hate and part of the 'supposed' justification for the killing.

Sura 9:5 sums up islam pretty well in one simple passage..."When the sacred months are over slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them..."

And the Holy See knows all this yet he still allowed muslim prayers to defile the very seat of the Holy Roman Catholic Church, all while knowing that the Papacy should be about the Church and Church business alone, yet still hoping this prayer meeting of interfaith outreach that will in the end prove to be anything but...would reopen a path to dialogue between these two now aged enemies.

Saying that, "Peacemaking calls for courage, much more so than warfare. It calls for the courage to say yes to encounter and no to conflict; yes to dialogue and no to violence; yes to negotiations and no to hostilities," Pope Francis is more than a bit naive for there is NO way to make peace with a people whose very foundation is built upon taqiyya...the art of lying to advance all things islam.

And while this Vatican dog-and-pony show was playing out for the world to see with Israeli President Shimon Peres and his Palestinian counterpart Mohmoud Abbas in attendance...and with them sitting amongst the cardinals, rabbis, and most notable of men was NOT present and rightfully so as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu...the last of the world's great statesmen...stood by his word to NEVER negotiate with those wishing Israel's destruction. And Israel's destruction is the Palestinian's true goal as witnessed last Monday when Abbas himself sworn Hamas islamists into his 'so-called' Palestinian unity government.

And the Pope knew this and still had islamic prayers defiling the sanctity of the Catholic Church.

So while he hopes these prayers said from anything but the heart can help end the “eternal negotiations” and will lead to peace, some very important tenets of islam truly seem lost on this man ...tenets that show that peace CANNOT be achieved though the simplicity of prayer.

Witness verse 3:85 from the qur'an, "And whoever desires other than Islam as religion - never will it be accepted from him, and he, in the Hereafter, will be among the losers."

In other words NO other religion but islam will be accepted into allah's purported paradise.

And the words of Sura 8:12 should have struck terror into the heart of the Holy See...should have shown him his efforts would be for naught as allah said to the angels, "I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieved, so strike [them] upon the necks and strike from them every fingertip."

Words of death and NOTHING more, and verses like this...words of warfare literal in their meaning ...encompass the whole of the qur'an and the Pope knows it and yet he thinks praying together will solve centuries of islamic hate and terror.

And least he forget Sura 9:33, "He is the One who sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, and will make it dominate all religions, in spite of the idol worshipers," with its meaning of islam will dominate all...will dominate the world's religions in spite of the wishes and wants of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. And lest Pope Francis forget that if he turns his back on them his holy head will roll to the floor.

And so Pope Francis, with all due respect, is so misguided in his path for he should NOT be embracing the Palestinians as they are NOT people of peace, but he should embrace the Jewish people because from the Jewish people...from Israel...sprung the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
