BREAKING: With No Spending Package, Partial Government Shutdown Begins
From the words of President Trump, we’re going to have a shutdown. Fox News’s Chad Pergram says that Trump is willing to sign a spending package that includes $2.6 billion for the border wall. Around 10:45 P.M. tonight, the White House instructed agencies to prepare for a shutdown and initiate the proper protocols (via AP):
White House budget chief Mick Mulvaney is instructing agencies “to execute plans for an orderly shutdown” when government funding lapses at midnight.
The partial government shutdown is expected after President Donald Trump wasn’t able to agree with Democrats and Republicans in Congress over funding for his border wall with Mexico. Despite negotiations over the last 48 hours, they remain at an impasse.
Mulvaney says in a memo for government executives that “we are hopeful that this lapse in appropriations will be of short duration” but that employees should report to work when scheduled to “undertake orderly shutdown activities.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) broke with President Trump on his decision Thursday to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria. Graham, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told reporters Friday that he would like to hear from Defense Secretary James Mattis in a hearing on the matter.

Mattis also disagrees strongly with the decision to withdraw from Syria and resigned over the matter Thursday.

Reuters reported that on his way to a GOP meeting of senators, Graham planned “to ask for hearings like right now about Syria.”

He also expressed concern about reports of potential troop withdrawals from Afghanistan.

U.S. Added To List Of Most Dangerous Countries For Journalists
This obsession to drag America down to the level of the scum of the earth is increasingly the primary characteristic of leftist discourse.
A disgruntled employee shot up the Capital Gazette — what does that have to do with the freedom of the press, etc.?

This is yet another manifestation of the miserable and the evil’s hatred of the good for being the good. The press in the USA is wildly free, dangerously reckless, using their microphone like clubs to beat us into submitting to their totalitarian way of thinking.

The left has run amok in putting America on this list when:
