Priebus: It's 'All Good' at White House
Priebus: It's 'All Good' at White HouseWhite House chief of staff Reince Priebus expressed his support Friday for President Trump’s pick of Wall Street financier Anthony Scaramucci as the White House’s new communications director.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Priebus said he and Scaramucci are “very good friends” and he stood by the president’s decision “100 percent.”

He also dismissed talk of turmoil at the White House, telling the AP it’s “all good here.”

Priebus’s comments come on the heels of Sean Spicer’s abrupt resignation as White House press secretary Friday morning.

According to The New York Times, Spicer told Trump he believed offering Scaramucci the communications director position was “a major mistake.”
Robert Spencer in PJ Media: Willful Ignorance: House Rejects Rep. Franks’ Proposal to Study Islam

By Robert Spencer / Jihad Watch

This is how you lose to Islamic terror. My latest in PJ Media: By nine votes, 217 to 208, the House of Representatives on Friday voted down a proposal to identify “Islamic religious doctrines, concepts or schools of thought” that jihad terrorists use. Twenty Republicans joined the solid Democratic bloc to vote down this measure, […]

Half-Blind Rage: Media Picks and Chooses Stories of Collusion

If you were to take it from the liberal media, you would think that not only was Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer unique in terms of the 2016 election but that it was unprecedented in the annals of American politics. A presidential campaign DARING to meet with a representative of a foreign government? Oh, no. We need to bring back the gallows and hang Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner for treason against these United States!

Unfortunately, too many news junkies are beginning to buy into the hype.

And hype is all that it is, let’s be really honest here. No one’s going to prison. How could they? No crime has been committed. This is – and always has been and always will be – a story meant to anchor the Trump agenda in place. And all you have to do is look at President Trump’s latest approval numbers to see that it’s working. Americans aren’t particularly happy with the Democratic Party these days, but there’s no question that the Dems have managed to drag Trump down with them. With their incessant focus on the Russia story, they have stolen from the president the public momentum he needs to get Congress behind him.
Minneapolis Police Chief Resigs over Damond Shooting, But Killer-Cop Still on Force
Chief Harteau was forced to resign by Mayor Betsy Hodges who has crossed horns with Harteau in the past.  When is Hodges going to resign?

Think about it — no talk of firing Mohamed Noor and Mayor Hodges who forced Noor in stays. They have the sacrificial lamb

Have a contest. What would it take to fire a Somali Muslim Cop in Minneapolis?

Another interesting angle in this story is the defense of Noor from cop haters and BLM ‘activists”:
Nekima Levy-Pounds, a civil rights lawyer and activist running for mayor of Minneapolis, said Chief Harteau “needed to be fired.” Ms. Levy-Pounds said it had been “a slap in the face to people of color” that the chief spoke out about the death of Ms. Damond, who was white, after defending officers involved in past shootings of black people.
“She is attempting to paint this as an isolated case based on one officer’s poor judgment as opposed to a systemic pattern,” Ms. Levy-Pounds said.
They are defending this killer-cop’s cold blooded murder as an “officer’s poor judgment.” But when Officer Darren Wilson was fighting for his life from an attacker, they burned down Ferguson.
