The Five Best Pence Quotes from the Vice Presidential Debate
The Five Best Pence Quotes from the Vice Presidential DebateMike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, summed up last night’s debate perfectly; Tim Kaine was “planned and canned” while Mike Pence was “like a glass of southern sweet tea.”

Kaine spent most of the night interrupting Pence, hurling attacks at Trump’s character, and cramming in as many sound bites as possible. He didn’t debate, he recited a script.

Pence, on the other hand, spent the night trying to converse with his opponent. He was natural and spontaneous; he reacted to what Kaine and the moderator had to say. Pence may not have had a script, but he definitely cast some great lines.

1. “There’s a reason why people question the trustworthiness of Hillary Clinton. And that's because they're paying attention.”
Kaine was asked why 60 percent of voters think Hillary’s untrustworthy. Pence had a simple answer.

2. “Senator do you take all the deductions that you're entitled to?…I do.”
Kaine went on a rant about how it must be “smart” to not pay for our military, our veterans, or our teachers, because Trump said he was smart for paying as little tax as legally possible. Pence pointed out that no one is going to pay more taxes than they have to.
(Photo: Twitter)One of the nation’s largest school districts has adopted a resolution banning “hate speech” against Muslim students while accusing America of having “a long history of racism and xenophobia.”

The controversial resolution, unanimously approved by the Kansas City Board of Education on Sept. 28, states that there are 30,000 Muslims living in the greater Kansas City area, “making invaluable contributions to our economy, our social and political life, and our culture.”

It goes on to state that discrimination on the basis of religion, “and against Muslims in particular, is deeply embedded within our country’s long history of racism and xenophobia.”

The Sept. 28 meeting was reportedly packed with local Muslims seeking to show their support for the resolution. Shaheen Ahmed of the Crescent Peace Society, a Kansas City interfaith organization, requested the board to adopt the resolution and the Muslims were hoping that other school districts would follow the lead of Kansas City and adopt similar resolutions, according to a tweet by Mahnaz Shabbir, an adviser to the Crescent Peace Society who also attended the meeting.

More from the “anti-hate” resolution is quoted below:
“WHEREAS there has been an unprecedented backlash since the September 11th attacks in the form of hate crimes and employment discrimination toward Arab and Muslim Americans and those perceived as Muslims; and
“WHEREAS Muslims, Muslim Americans, and those perceived as Muslims, are frequently the targets of abusive and discriminatory police practices sanctioned by the state including surveillance in their neighborhoods and places of worship.”
Read the full resolution adopted by Kansas City Board of Education.

The document further resolves that Kansas City schools “condemns all hateful speech and violent action directed at Muslims, those perceived as Muslims, immigrants and people of color.”

The school board, according to the resolution, “commits to fostering a school environment that promotes respect for and curiosity about all religions and cultures, affirms the equal humanity of all members of the community, and rejects all forms of bullying and discrimination.”

DISASTER: Hillary Torches Trump on Taxes… Then Someone Sees Line 15 on HER Returns

Conservative Tribune

Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has been extremely busy going after Republican rival Donald Trump on taxes after The New York Times revealed that Trump used a perfectly legal tax strategy to mitigate a large business loss by paying no taxes for several years back in the 1990s.

Big problem, though: It seems Hillary Clinton did the same thing, and much more recently.

“There it is. This bombshell report reveals the colossal nature of Donald Trump’s past business failures and just how long he may have avoided paying any federal income taxes whatsoever,” Hillary for America Campaign Manager Robby Mook said in a statement after the loss was announced.

“In one year, Donald Trump lost nearly a billion dollars. A billion. He stiffed small businesses, laid off workers, and walked away from hardworking communities.
“And how did it work out for him? He apparently got to avoid paying taxes for nearly two decades — while tens of millions of working families paid theirs. He calls that ‘smart.’ Now that the gig is up, why doesn’t he go ahead and release his returns to show us all how ‘smart’ he really is?”
