Report: At Least 40 Shot in Chicago on Sunday

"We know that some of these incidents were targeted and are related to gang conflicts in those areas," said Chicago Police Chief of Patrol Fred Waller said Sunday afternoon.

As reported by ABC7, police  “said a group of people, three teens and five adults, were standing in a courtyard in the 1300-block of West 76th Street at about 12:40 a.m. when several people approached on foot and opened fire at the group. The victims range in age from 14-years-old to 35 years-old.”

This attack in the Gresham neighborhood left all eight people severely wounded.

Other victims from shootings across the windy city include an 11-year-old boy, a 17
-year-old girl, and a “32-year-old man who was shot four times and was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital.”

Google Declares Angela Merkel ‘Leader of the Free World’

For the leftist political and media elites, Angela Merkel is the leader of the world, but their world isn’t free. The world of Google and CNN and Facebook and the New York Times and Twitter and the rest of them is one of socialist internationalism, open borders, submission to sharia, and suppression of free speech. “Free world”? Google and its allies, and Merkel, are the ones trying to destroy the free world.

Thanks to its reliance on information from Wikipedia, the top Google search result for “leader of the free world” is not the President of the United States, with whom the term is normally associated, but crisis-engulfed German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Searches for the term currently return a picture of Merkel as the top result, and two links to the Wikipedia page on “free world.” Immediately following those results is a CNN opinion piece stating that President Trump is “no longer leader of the free world.”
