Some simple words long overdue

The 3 Musketeers…Barack HUSSEIN Obama, ‘Prince’Harry Reid, and his Botox Queen…the one and only Nancy Pelosi.

America’s very own ‘Axis of Evil’ with their all-consuming leftist partisan ideology existing only to inflict as much pain as possible on ‘We the People’ and doing so in the most hateful, spiteful, and vindictive of ways.

Mocking, denigrating, ridiculing, and always finding fault with ‘We the People’ every chance they get...have you ever heard these three speak kindly of America or the American people…I think NOT. Have you ever heard these three speak with pride about American exceptionalism…American entrepreneurship…American accomplishments…I think NOT.  Have you ever heard these three bursting with pride over the victories of our military or speaking with tears in their eyes honoring the many acts of valor done by our troops and veterans…again I think NOT.

Everything they do…every program they initiate…every bill they pass, do NOT pass, or sign as in Obama’s case, revolves around fueling the fires of class warfare or of removing the scab on what was once slowly healing old racial wounds.  And these three have NO desire to improve the lot of America’s ‘working poor’ for their goal is to make sure the ‘working poor’ are beholden to the Democratic Party for their day to day existence…to make sure they NEVER bite the hand that feeds them…to make sure they vote Democratic until hell freezes over.

These three relish in the fear they create…in the rendering impotent of any and all who oppose them…who challenge them…who call them to task.  These three feed political arguments NOT with facts and figures but with innuendos, lies, and suppositions contrived by speech writers influenced by the likes of Alinsky, Che, and Fidel Castro.

Socialists hiding behind the guise of calling themselves Democrats, Reid and Pelosi have turned a once honorable if opposing party…the party of JFK…into a rabble-rousing bunch of hoodlums, haters, race-baiters, and blind followers of a media created teleprompted so-called ‘savior of us all’ who has proven to be anything but.

Proving to be anything but as Barack HUSSEIN Obama challenges our country’s laws; strips away one by one our Constitutionally given rights; removes God from our schools…from our public assemblies… from our military funerals; bows down to and caters to our enemies… and all in his quest to become King…to become titular leader of his oh so wanted islamic caliphate as he allows the sharia to creep into the fabric of our American society…as he allows the Muslim Brotherhood to infiltrate the halls of American government…as he allows the U(seless) N(ations) wanted and sanctioned Agenda 21/One World government nonsense to reach our shores…and it has started with the indoctrination of our children via Common Core.

And ‘Prince’ Harry Reid and ‘Queen’ Nancy Pelosi willingly aid this most vile man as they feed into his plans…as they calculatingly create planned chaos to defame the opposition…to try and weaken the enemy from within…the enemy known to them as ‘We the People.’  The TEA Party are terrorists …the Republicans are just rich, gun-toting, race haters and NO more…you know the rhetoric…you’ve heard the words…you know the lies
.

‘Fast and Furious’…Benghazi…IRS and spying scandals…and of course the dreaded ObamaCare with its joke of a website…mere ‘bumps in the road’…questions unanswered... truths unspoken… cover-ups…the blame game…all the hallmark of an administration run awry…but running with the support of the sheeple, the apathetic, the ‘sponges’ with their hands out, the turncoat RINOs, and of course with the media who turns a blind eye to all things Obama…to all things leftist…to all things muslim…

Stimulus failures…an economy in the tank…jobless numbers really rising… sequestration woes…a manufactured debt ceiling crisis…and out and out default lies…acquiescing to our enemies… stabbing Israel in the back…defaming our veterans…closing open-air parks in a government shutdown that was laughable at best….

But now six Senate Democrats up for re-election in 2014 seem to have suddenly ‘seen the light’ as they jump ship on ObamaCare’s dismal start…on the individual mandate the heart of the law…but you know what…I’ll take it as its but one more nail in the coffin of the legacy of a man on whose shoulders…by whose own hand…the chaos in America now rests.

And try as they might that is something the media can NO longer hide.

Political bullies...existing at all levels of government

Bullying…the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively impose domination over others. Bullying…what better word is there to describe the growing number of RINOs in the House.

And while lately the issue and consequences of bullying in general has been all over the news…as in bullies in our schools, bullies on the playground, bullies in sports…sadly, the bullies within the ranks of the Republican party…certain long-term way past time to leave RINO bullies… seem to be dominating the headlines. These political bullies…as in the likes of John McCain and Lindsey Graham to name but two…held Republican lawmakers in both chambers hostage with their made-up doomsday scenarios about defaulting as they sold their party…and ‘We the People’…out to the Obama political machine.

These bullies…in getting House Republicans to surrender to ‘Prince’ Harry Reid…a bully in his own right…and his anything but compromise Senate bill to end the government shutdown and raise the debt ceiling…made those in the House, when it came their time to vote, appear as the humiliated, impotent, beaten down lawmakers they proved themselves to be.

And their bullying doom and gloom tactics overwhelmed and overtook any semblance of a backbone that Speaker of the House John Boehner once had.

As if the House surrender wasn’t bad enough, in their efforts to sell us all out, these Senate bullies tried to defame the few Republicans in both chambers who stood strong against Reid and crew…zeroing their bully pulpit tactics in on the one man who had the guts and courage to get in their faces from day one with his unwavering stance against the nightmare that is ObamaCare.

Senator Ted Cruz, called a bully by the RINOs, led the charge against the true party bullies and in retaliation has been slandered NOT only by Senate and House Democrats but by those within his own party…by those who wanted to acquiesce to ‘Prince’ Harry Reid from day one…by those who cared only that they and their cushy perks might be hurt by the shutdown while NOT caring one iota about those who were disrespected by this administration…as in our elderly WWII veterans.

And so any in either chamber who voted for this abomination of an anything but compromise bill…voting in lockstep for it even after Obama…and YES it was Barack HUSSEIN Obama….blocked the memorials to those who served…these sellouts MUST be voted out of office…and their bully tactics along with them.

True Conservative Republicans in Congress must unite and stand strong on two front…against the always liberal Democrats and also against the growing ranks of the RINO bullies who seem to be overtaking the House. And in the toxic environment that is the hallmark of today’s political scene, these political bullies must NOT be allowed to rule the roost, because if they do the Republican party…the party of our beloved Ronald Reagan…will be forever doomed…doomed because of ‘old guard’ bullies who will try to hang onto their political life by any means possible, including by NOT doing the people’s bidding if it does NOT serve their personal agendas.

But sadly, political bullying is NOT just the signature of those in DC…it trickles down through the states, the counties, all the way down to the local level. And at the local levels it can be even nastier than at the federal level…I know as I’ve just recently experienced a tried but failed bullying attempt against me. Standing strong against the individual and their pitiful attempt to bully me…intimidate me…I used something so often forgotten…so often overlooked…but something very effective in neutering a bully…in a word ‘facts’…and facts are the very thing the RINOs love to ignore.

And while this Lady Patriot does NOT take kindly to being bullied so should those who were elected to do the people’s bidding for those who succumb to bullying…like the RINOS in the House…are pitiful…with those who do the bullying even more so. And bullies like McCain and Graham will get theirs when they’re up for re-election…that is if they even have the guts to run after their sellout to the Democrats and Obama.

Bottom lie…all politics starts at the local level so at the local level is where the bullying must be squelched first so that those in power in DC…those who think they’re untouchable…get the message loud and clear that ‘We the People’ will NOT tolerate their political bullying and bickering at any level…especially by those from our own party who are trying to implode us from within.

We already have head bully Barack Hussein Obama trying to implode our country from within…we don’t need our own party bullies helping him.

And so the Republican Party must return to its true Conservative roots if we are to keep the House and take back the Senate in 2014…and that means the bullying tactics of the ‘old guard’ must NOT be allowed to dominate the conversation any longer. It’s time for the next generation of leaders to take over…new leaders that include members of those aligned with the TEA Party…for the TEA Party will be the salvation of the Republican party…that is after all the RINO bullies have been sent packing.

Standing strong a must when surrounded by RINOS

And so it continues…

“Congress must do its job and raise the debt limit to pay the bills we have incurred and avoid default,” White House mouthpiece Jay Carney bloviated a few days ago.

And Jimmy Carter…now the second worst president in US history…called NOT raising the debt ceiling like Obama wants a “threat to the integrity of this government….a short-term deal to avoid default would be better than nothing,” adding but even that “just means you’ll have another crisis.”

This from the man who derailed the American economy before Ronald Reagan came in to clean up his mess.

Then in charged the House Republicans who put forth a compromise bill suggesting a temporary six-week raising of the debt ceiling…suggesting a delay in Obamacare’s tax on medical devices for two years while replacing the lost revenue by altering the way pensions are calculated…suggesting giving increased autonomy to the heads of federal agencies under the constraints of sequester spending levels…and suggesting funding increases for fire suppression.

Notice there was NO delay of the individual mandate section of ObamaCare in the Republican proposal…you know the delay Obama gave businesses…as Boehner and crew caved to Obama’s demand that ObamaCare for the most part is off the negotiation table.

But NO matter as Obama rejected this proposal as the Democrats argued it would set up another fiscal crisis right before the crucial ‘holiday’ shopping season. They can’t even say the Christmas/Hanukkah shopping season now can they…PC sellouts that they are.

By the way, what holiday shopping season as Obama’s failed economic policies have just about destroyed any hope of a successful Christmas/ Hanukkah shopping season that we might have had this year.

But wonders of wonders hell froze over a bit yesterday as ‘Prince’ Harry Reid lost some of his so-thought all encompassing control over the Senate as Senators voted down Obama’s oh so wanted ‘clean’ continuing resolution regarding raising the debt ceiling.

Score one for our side at least.

And so after talks between Obama and House Republicans collapsed on Saturday morning with Obama’s rejection of Boehner’s compromise proposal that would have reopened the government while setting up a budget negotiating process...and after Boehner said the House will present Obama with another compromise bill in a few days...the ire of we patriots throughout the land was awoken en-masse and we can’t say this loud enough, ‘Hey Boehner…NO MORE COMPROMISES PERIOD!

And with ObamaCare the ultimate bargaining chip, it’s high time Boehner puts away his crying towel and stands strong with the wishes of ‘We the People’…uses ObamaCare to our advantage…and NOT accept Obama’s nails on a blackboard bloviations that ObamaCare is off the table.

This is the bottom line…and it’s the ONLY bottom line acceptable…if Obama and the Democrats want the debt ceiling raised then ObamaCare goes…NO ifs, and, or buts…and there is NO compromise on that.

And all that nonsense spewed forth by Obama and the Democrats that if Congress does NOT raise the government’s borrowing limit by October 17th the Treasury will NOT have enough money to cover the country’s bills needs to be strongly countered…for we know that it’s an out-and-out LIE for the true reality is that all that needs to be paid is the interest on the notes due and NOTHING more.

And it’s high past time that this sinks into Boehner’s head and that he throws it back in Obama’s face…that is if he can grow a set and stop cowering in a corner.

Besides, default is NOT an option as defaulting would be in clear violation of our Constitution… the 14th Amendment Section 4, to be exact…which states,

“The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any state shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.”

And if Obama knowingly violates the Constitution…and we know he knows the 14th Amendment because he claims to have been a Constitutional attorney…or perhaps that’s yet another LIE…then that is grounds for immediate impeachment. So Obama does NOT control this game… Republicans do…that is if they can clear the cobwebs from their heads and stop cowering in the corner from fear of the race card being used against them.

And also Republicans need to stuff a sock into the mouths of the kumbaya RINOs who NOT only are doing Obama’s bidding for him…either knowingly or NOT…by attacking the true men of courage within the party for we all know that the reason the likes of John McCain and Lindsey Graham put down and ridicule the likes of Ted Cruz and side with Obama’s demands to raise the debt ceiling is because McCain, Graham, and their buddies..the ‘Old Guard’ if you will…do NOT want to give up power to those like Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Marco Rubio, and Rand Paul…the ‘New Guard’. And it’s such a sad sight to see when those whose time as party leaders has come and gone can’t step down for to them it’s better to destroy their party from within on their way out then to leave with at least a shred of dignity and honor to their names.
 
These are the men who will NOT stand strong…who continue to push for compromise…who control Boehner and are playing him like a fiddle. But the loser in the end will NOT be Boehner for if he capitulates and gives in to Obama’s demands the losers will be ‘We the People’ and our beloved America…and that is something the RINOs will own…hook…line…and sinker.

Cutting deals with Obama is NOT an option

They turned him down…

And so it seems that ‘Prince’ Harry Reid is now pulling Obama’s strings for late yesterday afternoon Reid announced that he and Obama will NOT accept Boehner’s proposal regarding the short term raising of debt ceiling unless a ‘clean’ continuing resolution goes along with it…as in do what we originally demanded or you get NOTHING!

And so Speaker of the House John Boehner has been blowing smoke into the air with his proposal for a 6-week raise in the debt ceiling in exchange for the Democrats to be willing to sit down with the Republicans and negotiate on other matters…matters such as ObamaCare and spending cuts.

But why did Boehner even offer a negotiation proposal in the first place when Obama’s approval ratings have fallen to 37% in the polls, and with the fact that the sky will NOT fall if the debt ceiling is NOT raised…and all Obama’s bloviations to the contrary are just threatening game-playing words of NO substance at all.

So what was Boehner thinking when he announced that he was willing to negotiate with Obama on an extension to raise the debt ceiling…why doesn’t Boehner and his fellow Republicans get that we patriots want him and the House Republicans to stand strong and united against this most miserable excuse of a president and most assuredly NOT to negotiate with him.

I guess Boehner missed school the day the lesson was taught that you do NOT negotiate with the enemy…neither foreign nor domestic…ever.

And now it pains me to have to say that for the most part the Republican Party has let us down yet again. So to the few Republicans who publicly stood strong against Obama…especially to our hero Ted Cruz and also to Mike Lee, Marco Rubio and even Rand Paul…I apologize to you for Speaker of the House John Boehner choosing to betray you and your dedication to doing what’s right for ‘We the People’ as he caved and sold us out once again.

So it does NOT matter that Obama and Reid turned him down for Boehner did the deed and we patriots are NOT happy that he did so.

And I cannot say this enough, and I wish Boehner would let it sink into his brain…we will NOT default if we do NOT raise the debt ceiling as we have 5 times the monies needed to pay the interest on the notes due…and interest is all that has to be paid out…and Boehner should have thrown this fact in Obama’s face and used ObamaCare as his ace-in-the-hole bargaining chip if he was going to meet Obama half-way or anyway on anything.

So here the House Republicans had a chance to stand united…to stand their ground…to stand strong…as our side had the upper hand over NOT only Obama, but Harry Reid and the Senate as well. But Boehner blew it for now it sadly seems that NO matter what Obama dishes out he and the likes of McCain, Graham, and a host of other ‘so-called’ Republican party leaders will cower and cave before the man who NOT only stole an election through voter fraud, but a man whose ultimate goal is to destroy all we Americans honor and hold dear…all we honor and hold dear as he deliberately and with malice gets joy in inflicting pain...as much pain as possible on ‘We the People’…and laughs as he holds the race card over everyone’s head while doing so.

Caving to a man whose satisfaction…a satisfaction that only the most vile of human beings would revel in…is inflicting pain on those who deserve it the least…and Boehner’s offer adds an added slap to the face of true American heroes.

And as we all know Obama’s recent round of vileness was calculatingly directed at our veterans and troops starting with the closing of the World War II Memorial to our aging and frail heroes…and moved on to closing the Viet Nam Memorial to those finally getting the respect so long overdue…then continued on to closing the D-Day Memorial at Normandy...and most reprehensible of all to NOT restoring immediately the military death benefits that the government shutdown took away to family members of recently fallen troops …and Obama’s doing so out of NOTHING but sheer meanness makes what Boehner did even more reprehensible.

To say shame on him puts it oh so mildly for if Boehner had truly wanted to send something over to Obama that had true substance and teeth it should have been that the only way he would agree to raise the debt ceiling…and to raise it only temporarily at best…then removing ObamaCare from the general budget and making it a ‘stand alone bill’ would be the only way he would agree to it.

And now it’s over as Boehner was turned down and while some might think Boehner looks the hero for making the offer of compromise, if truth be told he looks like the sell-out that he is. Boehner betrayed those in his own party...brave men like Ted Cruz…and most of all he betrayed the hope that we Republicans and Tea Party members had in him to stand strong against this most vile of presidents.

And that my friends is the saddest thing of all.

Op-ed: 
When Obama’s lips move lies are sure to follow

Yesterday, Barack HUSSEIN Obama’s lips were moving and as usual more lies spewed forth during his blame game of a statement and Q&A session from the White House.

As expected, his words were NOTHING but a rehash of his favorite rhetoric…place blame on everyone but himself for the mess we’re in right now. And he did so by zeroing in that blame on Speaker of the House John Boehner, House Republicans, and of course the TEA Party…and you just know what’s coming next…it’s all Bush’s fault.

And by refusing to mention that he and his fellow Democratic cohorts are the true bearers of that blame because they have NOT allowed a budget to be approved and passed in years, Obama was able to spew out his words of blame and stack lie upon lie, while the leaning to left media that made up the bulk of the audience lapped up his every word.

Blames and LIES…and the main lie was his vastly overstated comments about the danger our country faces if the debt ceiling is NOT raised before the October 17th ‘doomsday’ deadline. Saying NOT raising the debt ceiling will send our county into default is beyond a mere lie and crosses over into the absurd as we are in possession of over five and a half times the monies needed to meet the interest on our loans…and the paying of the interest alone keeps the country out of default…and as president Obama should know that. As he should also know that monies to do so come from the 2012 fiscal debt service to the tune of around $420 billion, and from the 2012 IRS revenues collected totaling around $2.3 trillion. So he either has NO clue whatsoever as to what default really is or he willingly choosing to twist its definition to suit his own nefarious purposes.

And while in Obama’s case it’s probably the later, rest assured there is NOTHING to fear from the word ‘default’ because it just will NOT happen. A true default is simply NOT paying interest due to US bondholders…as in the ones who finance our bills…and as I pointed out above we have more than enough monies on hand to cover those obligations.

So while Obama tried over and over to claim that the sky would fall if we could NOT meet our debts, adding that he cannot give priority to one bill due over the other, the fact is that having to prioritize bills in NO way means you would default on your debt as prioritizing is done within government entities every day…from the most mundane of issues to the most important of issues.

And even as Obama bloviated that he “is happy to sit down with Speaker Boehner and other Republicans anytime”…sit down and even go over ObamaCare line by line he said…he made it perfectly clear that negotiations with Republicans will only happen AFTER a vote is taken to lift the government shutdown by raising the debt ceiling so that we don’t have this country’s first time ever default.

And having it happen on his watch are words his narcissistic self will NEVER say.

But…and this is basic politics 101…negotiations are done BEFORE anything is voted on because the simple fact is that there NEVER will be negotiations after a vote is taken.

And with that, Obama’s words that he ‘won’t let extortion become routine’…he’s once again made it clear that he’s only willing to negotiate as long as he gets everything he wants first, even as he called on Congress to work with him and that all sides should show some “civility, common sense, and give-and-take.” Yet over and over in words he either said outright or alluded to is the fact that he will NOT give in on his refusal to negotiate policy issues or will he negotiate on a short-term resolution to reopen the government.

“I’m not going to do it until the more extreme parts of the Republican Party stop forcing John Boehner to issues threats about our economy,” Obama said.

Guess what…those are NOT words conducive to negotiation…those are words that echo the classic definition of extortion...give me what I want or else I’ll give you NOTHING.

I will NOT do this…I won’t do that…a temper tantrum right before the cameras that those on the left will still refuse to see.

And so the blame game continued as Obama basically called Speaker  Boehner a liar because Boehner claims…and rightly so…that there aren’t enough votes in the House to pass a clean continuing resolution to fund the government.

“Put in on the floor and see what happens,” Obama croaked as his once again infamous smirk crossed his lips.

And herein lies the sum total of all the problems…problems of Obama's and the Democrats doing…as a clean continuing resolution would NOT link funding the government to funding ObamaCare, and thus would allow ObamaCare to be funded as is, case closed. Boehner knows this and as of now he…in his capacity as Speaker of the House…is standing strong against what Obama wants...standing strong as he should.

In his rebuttal to Obama’s bloviations, Boehner actually showed some backbone when he said, “What the president said today was, if there’s unconditional surrender by Republicans, he’ll sit down and talk with us. That’s not the way our government works.”

But sadly, unless ALL House Republicans stand strong…and I do mean ALL...that will be exactly how our government will work as long as Barack HUSSEIN Obama is at the helm of our country.

The debt ceiling/default debacle...the sky ain't falling

October 17th…the day Obama claims the sky will fall as the US goes into default...or so he says.

October 17th…the day Treasury Department spokespeople have said that the government’s cash-on-hand will only be $30 billion when everyday our government must spend at least $60 billion…and they claim there is NO way of reducing payments by an across-the-board percentage to stay under the debt limit.

By October 17th “The debt ceiling must be raised…this cannot and should not be a matter of negotiation,” so bloviates Obama mouthpiece Jay Carney.

And as October 17th draws near “The president is risking default by not having a conversation with us,” says Speaker of the House John Boehner.

But the thing is they’re ALL wrong for there is NOTHING magical about October 17th as the debt ceiling was actually reached back on May 19th.

And on that day as we knew they would, the Treasury Department did some clever ‘hokus-pokus’ paper shuffling and tapped into exchange-rate funds to ‘miraculously’ find $303 billion in extra funds, and they also delayed some pension fund payments and drew down an emergency fund to get even more cash on hand…thus allowing us to NOT run out of money to pay our bills until the end of October or later…if we actually run out at all.

Guess what...we won’t.

And all this bru-haha about debt ceilings is just nonsense for what NO one…NOT Obama…NOT Prince Harry…NOT John Boehner…and for sure NOT the media...will tell “We the People’ is that the debt ceiling in and of itself does NOT dictate how much the government is allowed to spend simply because that's Congress' job to do when the budget is set each year. The debt ceiling does only one thing and one thing alone…it lays the amount of dollars the government can borrow to fulfill obligations that Congress has already passed into law.

And herein lies the real problem…we have NO budget and have NOT had one for going on four years now…four years under Obama’s watch.

So with NO budget in place Obama was unleashed to spend our money basically unfettered for there were NO budget constraints that would have reigned him in. And make NO mistake about it…if we had had a budget…a working budget…in place all these years we would NOT be in the position we find ourselves in today…and Barack HUSSEIN Obama and his Democratic cohorts built this mess and own it all.

And now we have the doom and gloomers circling overhead like vultures…circling and crying that if the House refuses to raise the debt ceiling the federal government will be forced to raise taxes on ‘We the People’ to meet its obligations…and raise them high…as if they aren’t high enough already.

But that is NOT likely to happen nor is it even the truth as the mid-term elections are coming up, and those up for re-election in both parties know that to even suggest raising taxes would be political suicide.

So if taxes will NOT be raised to meet our obligations and with notes coming due must the House Republicans…who right now are standing strong…be forced to acquiesce to Obama to avoid default…NOT so fast for default can be avoided by simply paying the interest on notes due.

And rest assured we have plenty of funds to do just that as Obama and Reid are truly trying to pull the wool over the American people’s eyes as they whine that America will be broke. But once again they’re wrong for as per Forbes, the fiscal 2013 debt service for the twelve months that ended on September 30 will end up being around $420 billion. IRS revenues for the calendar 2012 tax year will end up being around $2.3 trillion, and together this equates to over a five and a half times the monies needed for debt ceiling coverage.

So while we have plenty of cash to meet our current obligations as stated by the numbers above, there obviously is NOT enough for everything. With around $850 billion estimated to be the deficit for fiscal year 2014, some services will obviously have to be cut…and cut across the board…while leaving services like Social Security, Medicare, and of course interest on the debt alone as they MUST be met as per law…and these Obama must protect at all costs if he is to save his ‘legacy.’

So Obama and his Democratic cohorts will be forced to compromise…even if it’s at the 12th hour…and Boehner and crew must use ObamaCare as the means to turn this battle into their favor. And with the Bipartisan Policy Center report estimating that Congress would need to raise the debt ceiling by around $1.1 trillion to allow the government to meet all of its obligations in full…NOT just making interest payments…through the end of 2014, Obama needs to make nice-nice with Republicans or the entire phony debt ceiling/defaulting debacle risks exploding in his face.

And that will be a legacy he’s worthy of.

A political stalemate Republicans can win

In a word...LIARS!  

Barack HUSSEIN Obama, 'Prince' Harry Reid, and 'Wicked Witch of La-Lafornia' Nancy Pelosi are NOTHING but LIARS as they NOT the Republicans are the ones stonewalling ALL efforts to reach a compromise NOT only on ObamaCare, but on the government shut-down and on the debt ceiling as well.  Everything the Republicans propose...every attempt at compromise the Republicans make...is met with a resounding NO from the Democratic controlled Senate...including the Republicans proposal to keep all things related to our veterans and military up, running, and funded...as these three miscreants continue to blame the Republicans for all the country's woes.

 

Partisan politics and its worst and to say shame on the Democrats is putting it mildly.

And while Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner has said, “This isn’t some damn game... The American people don’t want their government shut down and neither do I,” there is a bright side to the shutdown as much to their dismay, the free-spending Democrats cannot spend our taxpayer dollars while the government is shutdown.

Score one for the good guys.

And at least now Speaker Boehner has shown some backbone for at the recent press conference after his unsuccessful meeting with Obama, Reid, and Pelosi earlier this week, he stated in NO uncertain terms that he and his fellow Republicans in the House have NO intention of “rolling over” to the Democrats demands...demands that he is wise enough to see through as the Democrats bloviations that they will be willing to have “meaningful negotiations” on ObamaCare AFTER...I repeat AFTER...Republicans agree to reopen the government and raise the debt ceiling is pure unadulterated nonsense that only the most gullible would fall for.

Thankfully, Boehner is NOT stupid enough to believe all that nonsense because once the general budget is finalized and the debt ceiling is raised the Democrats have absolutely NO reason to negotiate on anything dealing with ObamaCare...let alone on anything else for that matter.

And if House Republicans dared to accept what Obama calls a “clean” debt limit increase free of any policy conditions it would be over...over NOT only for the Republican party itself but over for 'We the People' as well for Obama and his Democratic cohorts would have free reign to tax, spend, and drive our country further into debt...a debt that would take generations to pay off...that is if it could ever be paid off at all.

“If we’re going to raise the amount of money we can borrow, we ought to do something about our spending problem and the lack of economic growth in our country,” Boehner also said at the same recent press conference.

And how right he is even as some Republicans...RINOS all...are considering acquiescing to raising the debt ceiling, Obama continues to bloviate for anyone who will listen that acquiescing is indeed the Republicans “only way out” of this mess...while in reality it's a mess of his own doing...and that Boehner must let the bipartisan House majority vote on a bill to reopen the government...but that it must be a bill that wouldn’t affect his precious ObamaCare.

But that is a NO go and must remain so for ObamaCare can actually be used as leverage...a bargaining chip...in exchange for raising the debt ceiling. And this is something of note when considering raising the debt ceiling...the debt ceiling doesn't stop us from borrowing more to pay for new spending, it just stops us from borrowing more to pay for old spending.  

And using ObamaCare as leverage consists of taking it completely out of the general budget and having it as a 'stand alone' bill where the House Republican majority would be in control of its funding, defunding, or delaying of it...hopefully indefinitely.

So Obama can whine, whimper, and stamp his feet until he turns purple that 'there will be no negotiations over ObamaCare', but the reality is that if Obama allows our country to default on its loans under his watch, he would be finished politically as America has NEVER before under any president defaulted on obligations to pay its debt. Obama knows this and knows that defaulting would result in our economy slowing down...slowing down even more than it already has under his watch...interest rates would rise and NOT just by a few tenths of a point, already shaky consumer confidence would falter even more, the stock markets would take a major hit, and we might head back into a recession as our borrowing costs would rise to never before seen levels, as our standard of living plummets.

And that would be his legacy...and rightly so.

And if default happened, according to the Bipartisan Policy Center, 32% of the government's entire spending would have to be cut immediately, because we would only be able to spend the cash on hand (around $30 billion or so) forcing the government to "prioritize" payments...meaning using the money it does have to pay for the things it deems really important and letting the bills for less-important things go unpaid for the time being.  And with Obama what he considers priority spending is vastly different from what 'We the People' consider priority spending...like we consider Medicare payments for the elderly and paying our troops a priority while Obama considers funding for his loyal freebie and handout recipients more important than anything else.

And imagine the battle over priorities that would ensue over who got what little money there was at hand.

So knowing this Obama will indeed negotiate with Republicans at the 12th hour for the simple reason that he will have NO choice but to do so or else he will be forever known as the president who sent America into default...and his narcissistic self will NEVER allow that to happen.
