Imam of Mecca’s grand mosque calls for all-out war against Shi’ites and Christians
The imam of the grand mosque in Mecca, the holiest place in Islam? How did Sheikh Abdul Rahman al-Sudais miss all the Qur’an’s peaceful teachings that Barack Obama, John Kerry, and David Cameron find so easily? “Muslim Cleric Calls for ‘All-Out War,’” by Riyadh Mohammed, The Fiscal Times, April 2, 2015: …Amid the ongoing Sunni-Shiite […]

“Hate Speech”

hate speechPamela Geller / Atlas Shrugs

Muslim supremacists and their goosestepping leftwing lapdogs are crowing about “defacing” our ads on Philly buses. These fools don’t realize that SEPTA has to make good on this destruction. But what these goons also don’t realize is that they add to our message.

Yes, the Islamic Jew-hatred, creed apartheid, gender apartheid, genocide exhortations, and misogyny found in abundance in the Qur’an (and Islamic texts and teachings) is hate speech.

I have two words for these hate preachers — “thank you.”

You’ve got to admit, liberal are masters at describing every initiative they launch as “the moral thing to do.” Their campaign for draconian energy regulations and a new global warming treaty is no exception.

Protecting people, wildlife and ecosystems from climate catastrophes is the greatest moral cause of our time, alarmist scientists, activists, politicians, bureaucrats, clerics and journalists insist. Rubbish.

It has nothing to do with morality. It’s all about money, power and control. It narrowly defines “morality” to ignore the incredible benefits that fossil fuels and electricity bring to people everywhere – while dismissing the enormous harm their policies will wreak on families and ecological values that they profess to care so much about. And it makes no mention of the fact that they will rarely, if ever, be held accountable for their falsehoods and fraudulent science, or the damage and deaths they cause.

On March 31, President Obama promised to slash America’s carbon dioxide emissions 28% below 2005 emission levels by 2025 and 80% by 2050, taking us back to Civil War era emission levels, 150 years ago. He wants U.S. taxpayers to contribute our “fair share” to a new UN $100-billion-per-year UN slush fund to help poor countries adapt to and mitigate rising seas, storms and other climate change disasters that our plant-fertilizing CO2 emissions allegedly cause. He instructed his federal agencies to implement a host of new rules prior to the December 2015 United Nations climate conference in Paris.

Five Reasons Jobs Growth Is Slowing

Peter Morici / Townhall Finance

The Labor Department reported the economy added 126,000 jobs in March, less than half the pace of the past four months.

Unemployment stayed at 5.5 percent, as 277,000 additional adults chose not to seek employment. Were the same percentage of adults working or seeking work today as when President Obama took office, the unemployment rate would be 9.7 percent.

Despite Walmart and other big employers boosting lower-skilled workers’ pay, wage advances remained in the doldrums. For all but the most skilled professionals, pay will continue to advance only slowly, and going forward good jobs and pay raises will likely be even scarcer for struggling middle and working class Americans.

Here are five reasons jobs and wage growth are likely to be disappointing the balance of 2015 and in 2016.

1. Stronger Dollar and Tepid Consumers
The dollar is up against the euro and yen, making U.S. goods and services more expensive than competing products from Germany and Japan. Along with the impact of falling oil prices on U.S. drilling activity that discourages business investment.

So far consumers have been hesitant to spend the windfall from lower gasoline prices—retail sales have plunged in recent months—and business activity simply will not support adding a lot of new workers.
Wishing all my blog followers of the Jewish faith
a very Happy Passover.
