The annual United Nations General Assembly officially kicked off
Monday in New York City and the "Human Rights Council" is proving its
corruption once again.
Today, the Council is voting on a
resolution praising Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro. It is being
sponsored by Iran and was written by...Maduro.
No
joke: the U.N. Human Rights Council soon votes on a resolution on
Venezuela's human rights record that was drafted by Venezuela
itself—diplomat Félix Peña Ramos—and sponsored by Iran. The text praises
the Maduro regime's efforts on human rights, and instead attacks the
West. pic.twitter.com/NxMq2vtcSE
Ilhan Omar Discovers the Real Victim of 9/11: Ilhan Omar
By Robert Spencer / Jihad Watch
Of course. Who else could it possibly be? My latest in FrontPage: The
controversy began on the eighteenth anniversary of 9/11. Responding to
Omar’s notorious statement that on 9/11, “some people did
something” (which phrase was emblazoned on his t-shirt), Nicholas Haros
Jr., the son of a woman who was killed in the World Trade Center
bombing, declared: “Madam, objectively speaking, we […] Read in browser »
Op-ed: Newsworthy and News Not By:
Diane Sori / The Patriot Factor / Right Side Patriots on American
Political Radio
Last week saw some major breaking news both on the national and
international fronts...one a news story the media loves diverting our
attention with, and the other a news story that could escalate and
cause trouble and ramifications for us all. But let's start with a
bit of colorful diversion and get that out of the way.
Liars, liars, their pants are on fire as the Democrats are again
focused on trying to impeach Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh
out of fear that he'll be the deciding vote to overturn Roe v.
Wade...it really all comes down to that.
A true "witch hunt" in every sense of the word based upon alludings of a past “supposed” victim...one Deborah Ramirez...but this
time the newest “supposed” victim does not even remember being
a victim at all. But if the uber liberal New York Times investigated,
then deems something “happened,” and even wrote an article
to that affect then what can it be but truth in journalism...ever so
sarcastically said. And these newest allegations are based upon the
book 'The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation,' a book
co-written by New York Times
reporters Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly, both unabashed Trump
haters.
So what is that something that “supposedly happened?” The
same old tired story thata then college-aged
“supposedly” drunk Brett Kavanaugh exposed himself at a dorm party...exposed himself to the unnamed “supposed” victim
who when her friends were interviewed for the book stated that the
“supposed” victim does not remember anything like that
ever having happened.
And so the man who has already gone through hell to clear his name
regarding other such false accusations... Christine Blasey Ford ring a
bell...apparently has to do it all over again after the New York
Times, two Saturdays ago, published their above stated totally fake
news story of yet additional “misconduct” on Kavanaugh's
part while in college. And who exactly was the source of this latest
allegation...none other than Washington D.C. Democrat attorney Max
Stier, a fellow Yale classmate of Brett Kavanaugh's. And Stier, who
has very close ties to known sexual predator Billy-Boy Clinton and
his ever vile wife, Hillary, also has a long and highly contentious
history with Justice Kavanaugh himself dating back to when they
opposed each other during
the height of the 1990's Whitewater investigation... an investigation that saw Brett
Kavanaugh working for Independent Counsel Ken Starr and Max Stier
working for the Clinton's...talk about opposing factions. In fact, Stier was also
the attorney of record who defended Billy-Boy when Paula Jones
accused him of exposing himself to her in his hotel room...a case
that was settled to a tune of $850,000...no guilty verdict there,
again sarcastically said. And Max Stier worked with David Kendall in
defending Hillary against allegations of illegally handling
classified information regarding said Whitewater case.
And when The New York Times was called to task over this
latest Kavanaugh hit piece they issued the following statement via an
editor's note, “An earlier version of this article,
which was adapted from a forthcoming book, did not include one
element of the book's account regarding an assertion by a Yale
classmate that friends of Brett Kavanaugh pushed his penis into the
hand of a female student at a drunken dorm party. The book reports
that the female student declined to be interviewed and friends say
that she does not recall the incident. That information has [now]
been added to the article.” Butthis statement trying to
pass itself off as an apology is anything but.
And to make this a
true miscarriage of not only justice but truth, The New York Times is
standing behind their maliciously fabricated false accusations
leveled against Justice Kavanaugh. And the majority of House
Democrats...and also those now jockeying to be their party's
presidential nominee...continue to banter about talk of
impeachment...a total waste of our taxpayer dollars because they know
well that any talk of Kavanaugh's impeachment will die in the Senate.
In fact, Senate investigators themselves stated within just days of
the article coming out that the FBI has ended its investigation into
“supposed” sexual
misconduct accusations made against Brett Kavanaugh, finding no
substance behind any of them. Even House Judiciary Chairman Jerry
Nadler has spoken words to the affect that he's not going to again
seek impeachment proceedings against Justice Brett Kavanaugh as he
feels the House has a more important job to do.
So what is more important
than Kavanaugh in Nadler's opinion? Simply, keeping the impeachment
lynch mob mentality focused solely on President Doanld Trump. In fact, Nadler himself recently stated that, "In
my personal opinion, impeachment is imperative not because he's going
to be removed from office, the Senate won't do that, but because we
have to vindicate the Constitution. We have to show that the kind of
self-dealing enrichment that this president is engaged in...”
and it continues on ad-nauseum. Impeaching President Trump remains
Jerry Nadler's main focus, nevermind that there is absolutely no
evidence of Trump having broken the law; nevermind that it's today's
Democrat party alone who relishes in making a mockery of the
Constitution every chance they get.
And once again it seems that
Jerry Nadler and his fellow Democrats will do any and everything to
get out of doing the “people's business”...the
very job they were elected to do...or should I say they will do any
and everything possible to help aid Deep State in imploding our
country from within...with Justice Brett Kavanaugh being but highly
sought after collateral damage in their never ending war against
President Trump.
These latest accusations
against Justice Kavanaugh will surely in the end go nowhere...even
uber liberal media pundit Joe Scarborough called the New York Times
out for their shameful Kavanaugh smear piece. And it's truly sad that
now thanks to this joke of a newspaper Justice Brett Kavanaugh and his family
have to go through this nonsense yet again. And it's also quite sad that “We
the People” areagainbeing media diverted
away from critical happenings in order to bear witness to the
Kavanaugh witch hunt part two.
And on the same Saturday that
Brett Kavanaugh was again being dragged through the political mud,
pre-dawn drone attacks on two oil installations inside Saudi Arabia
damaged key processing facilities at Abqaiq...facilities that process the majority of Saudi Arabia's
crude oil output...as well as damaging the actual oil fields at Khurais. Now signaling a possible disruption in world oil
supplies by the the world's top crude exporter, the Saudi's have been
forced to reduce their daily oil production by about 5.7 million
barrels which translates into roughly a 5% reduction in global daily
oil production...a reduction that could see oil prices rising thus
jeopardizing an already weakening global economy.
And if the Saudi's
aren't able to restore full production within a reasonably short
period of time...but know that some facilities are already slowly coming
back online and that Saudi Arabia's new energy minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, said it will
restore lost oil production by the end of this month...some still fear
Saudi Arabia's oil revenues itself could be hurt just when an initial public
offering of the country’s national oil company, Aramco, is soon to
be had.
However, again today as I
write this, Saudi officials are now stating that the attack on the
two Aramco installations had no impact on government revenues and
that authorities were getting ready to list Aramco for public
offering. In fact, Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed al-Jadaan said at
a recent investor conference in Riyadh that, "In
terms of revenues there's zero impact," adding that, "Aramco
continues to supply the markets without interruption and therefore
revenues should continue as they are."
So with said drone attacks
first being claimed to be the handiwork of Yemen’s Iranian backed Houthi
rebels...an attack supposedly done in retaliation for a Saudi-UAE-led
coalition intervening in Yemen's ongoing civil war...an attack the
Houthi claim will see their targets "keep
expanding"...or so says Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea...the
question that must be answered is how could this rag-tag militant
group of so-called rebels possibly hit facilities more than 500 miles
away unless they had Iranian tactical help or if the Houthi actually
fired Iranian made drones...or both. Remember, Iran...who still
denies culpability in the drone attack...is the country that uses
proxy armies to not only fight their battles “locally”
but also to avoid a direct confrontation with the U.S., and that it's
Iran who always seems to be at the bottom of almost all of the Middle
East unrest. So it's time to “take out Iran”
no matter what the naysayers say for it's Iran...who is our ally
Saudi Arabia's regional rival...Iran the world's leading state
sponsor of terrorism...that remains the number one destabilizing
force not only in the Middle East but worldwide as well.
But “take out Iran”
comes in so many guises. And
while President Trump was the first to hint at possible military
intervention soon after the attacks occurred, it was Vice-President
Mike Pence who recently reiterated President Trump's original words
that the U.S. is "ready to defend our interests &
allies in the region," and
that the U.S. is ready, that the U.S. is prepared, and that “we're
locked and loaded.”
"Locked and loaded"...exactly how so? Just this past Friday on President Trump's orders, U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper announced, "The
president has approved the deployment of U.S. forces which will be
defensive in nature and primarily focused on air and missile
defense,"and that we will also accelerate shipment of military hardware to both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates due to Iran's "significant escalation of violence"
in the region.
In addition, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin
announced that the Central Bank of Iran as well as its sovereign wealth fund, the National Development Fund, will be "cut
off from our banking system."
How's that for President Trump's promised new “substantial sanctions” as this “cut
off” will surely be even more
crippling than the sanctions currently in place...sanctions that have
already had a major impact on Iran's economy including on its much
needed, especially now, oil export industry.
And Iran will now also see both Saudi Arabia agreeing to join the
U.S.-led coalition to secure the Middle East's waterways, and
President Trump working to build an international coalition to exert
pressure on Iran through the United Nations. And this is in addition
to the Saudi defense ministry officially announcing...after their having
conducted a “detailed military investigation”...that the
attack on its oil facilities came from “the north”...Yemen
and the Houthi are to the south...and that the attacks were
"unquestionably sponsored by Iran."
In fact, Saudi
defense ministry spokesperson Col. Turki al-Malki further elaborated
by saying that it was most assuredly Iranian cruise missiles and
drones that were used in said attack. In fact, he went even further
by saying that, "The attack was systematically and
intentionally planned to destroy civilian infrastructure."
And knowing how Iran operates I can safely say al-Malki is right.
So with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo having met last week with
Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in Jeddah, to not
only discuss said attacks but to evaluate evidence found on site as
well as to coordinate efforts against what's called "Iranian
aggression," it was was quite telling to hear him say that
Iran alone is responsible for the bombing on the Saudi oil
facilities, and that the strike was “an act of war.” Adding
that even if the "fraudulent claims" of
responsibility by the Yemen Houthi rebels were true, "it
doesn't change the fingerprints of the [Iran Supreme Leader
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as having put at risk the global energy supply."
And the Iranian response to all this as per
President Hassan Rouhani was to say that, “The recent
attack by Iranian-backed forces in Yemen on a Saudi oil facility
should be viewed as a “warning” to Saudi Arabia to halt its
campaign against pro-Tehran Houthi rebels in Yemen.” A
“warning”...a
threat...a veiled admission of guilt I'd say.
So while Mike Pompeo was speaking fighting words, and while President Trump was taking definitive action, the infamous
German Chancellor Angela Merkel kept calling for a return of all
parties to 2015's very bad Iranian nuclear deal, foolishly seeing
this deal as the only way to not settle but defuse the current tensions in the
Middle East...tensions Iran is the sole proprietor of.
"We believe that the deal to stop Iran from acquiring
military nuclear capabilities is a building block we need to get back
to," were Merkel's exact words...words from the very woman
who thinks that de-escalation and long-term still very much unnamed solutions to the ongoing and ever escalating Iranian
problem are now only possible “through a political process."
So now that we pretty much know the who, what, where, why, and how
of the Saudi oil installation drone attacks, I think Saudi
Arabia's Crown Prince bin Salman said it best when he stated that the
attack posed a "real test of the global will"
to confront subversive acts that threaten international stability.
And when you couple that with both President Trump's and Mike Pence's words that
“we're locked and loaded,” maybe the time has finally come to end
this Iranian nonsense once and for all.
So there you have two of last
week's top news stories...you decide which is newsworthy...a witch hunt Democrats know will go nowhere or yet another masked threat by Iran to us all.
