Another Ax Attack in Germany

Now isn't this a little bit of happiness...the Dusseldorf axe attacker has been identified as 36-year old Fatmir H, a musl*m national from Kosovo, yet the police in islamic sympahizer Angela Merkel's Germany still refuse to call the attack an attack of islamic terrorism. And now another ax attack has been reported in the same city just hours after the first.

Bottom line...as long as Merkel remains as Germany's leader Germany has lost the battle if not the war itself...and if President Trump's travel ban EO is NOT implemented post-haste we will find ourselves facing the same acts of terrorism perpetrated by the same people...and I use the wordeople' loosely.

Sessions Asks Remaining 46 US Attorneys Hired by Obama to Resign

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions has asked the remaining 46 chief federal prosecutors appointed by President Barack Obama who have not already resigned to do so "in order to ensure a uniform transition," the Justice Department said on Friday.

"Until the new U.S. attorneys are confirmed, the dedicated career prosecutors in our U.S. attorney’s offices will continue the great work of the department in investigating, prosecuting, and deterring the most violent offenders,” it said in a statement.

It is routine for a new president to appoint his own U.S. attorneys, who are political appointees.

The Justice Department statement cast doubt over the future of Preet Bharara, the Obama appointee who currently serves as the Manhattan-based U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, whose office handles some of the most critical business and criminal cases passing through the federal judicial system.

A law enforcement official said Bharara expected to remain in his post. The official said Bharara had met with both President Donald Trump and his attorney general and been advised that they wanted him to stay on as Manhattan U.S. Attorney.

The source said it was not immediately clear what the Justice Department announcement means for Bharara's future. Bharara's office did not comment.

Another step in the wrong direction, a la the appointments of H. R. McMaster and Sebastian Gorka. President Trump has repeatedly vowed to stand with Israel. That means Obama/Kerry wonks such as Michael Ratney should not be appointed, and must go. Trump needs to right his ship and regain control from the RINOs.

One of John Kerry’s closest confidantes is now in charge of the Israeli-Palestinian portfolio at the State Department.

 

Mark Toner, the acting State Department spokesman and an Obama administration holdover, announced Wednesday that Michael Ratney, former U.S. consul to Jerusalem, will now take point on the Middle East conflict.

 

Martin Indyk — former U.S. ambassador to Israel who had been described as the Obama administration’s “anti-Israel apologist” — praised the appointment, tweeting that Ratney was a “valued member of Kerry’s peace team.”
