More weakness and cowardice from the jihad sympathizer in the White House.

In the wake of Obama’s catastrophic failure in Iraq and Syria, the Obama administration is laying off on everyone else. The “Junior Varsity” team has conquered whole swaths of the Middle East and there is no stopping them. At least not while Hussein is in the White House.

Obama’s Secretary of State John Kerry, in a NY Times editorial, which I am sure the Islamic State reads every morning over the pile-up of heads and corpses, is a “global coalition using political, humanitarian, economic, law enforcement and intelligence tools to support military force.” Obama has no global coalition. He has alienated every ally we had. Unlike George Bush, who had a “Coalition of the Willing” of 48 countries.

This is just another embarrassing example of Obama’s impotence. The rise of the Islamic State is a direct result of Obama’s foreign policy — the disengagement and dismantling of American influence and power in the Middle East and the world. The spread of jihad is the symptom of a vacuum.

Whenever jihad wins, it is only by default: by the moral failure of those who evade the fact that there can be no compromise on basic principles (paraphrasing Ayn Rand).

We have the military, cultural, and moral superiority to defeat jihad. We choose not to. A global coalition needs a leader. Has anyone called Stephen Harper?

EU threatens Russia with more sanctions

BRUSSELS (AP) — Despite tough rhetoric decrying Russia's increasing military involvement in Ukraine, European Union leaders on Sunday stopped short of imposing new sanctions against Moscow right away.

Instead, the 28-nation bloc's heads of state and government tasked their executive body to "urgently" prepare tougher economic sanctions that could be adopted within a week, according to EU summit chairman Herman Van Rompuy.

The decision on new sanctions will depend on the evolution of the situation on the ground but "everybody is fully aware that we have to act quickly," he added. The EU leaders call on Russia to "immediately withdraw all its military assets and forces from Ukraine," they said in a joint statement.

NATO said this week that at least 1,000 Russian soldiers are in Ukraine. Russia denies that. NATO also says Russia has amassed some 20,000 troops just across Ukraine's eastern border, which could rapidly carry out a full-scale invasion.

The fighting between the military and Russian-backed separatists in eastern Ukraine has so far claimed 2,600 lives, according to U.N. figures.

The U.S. and the EU have so far imposed sanctions against dozens of Russian officials, several companies as well as the country's financial and arms industry. Moscow has retaliated by banning food imports.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the new sanctions would target the same sectors as previous punitive measures, which also included an export ban for some high technology and oil exploration equipment.

"If Russia continues to escalate the crisis it will come with a high cost," said EU Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso. "It's time for everyone to get down to the business of peace-making.

It is not too late, but time is quickly running out," he said.

Your friend Steven may want to carefully research taking Medi-Cal benefits.

Medi-Cal, and many other state Medicaid programs include a ‘claw-back’ provision for recovery of costs incurred by the state to provide medical care. While there is much variation in particulars from one state to another, the bottom line is these costs include a monthly ‘administrative fee’

The ‘claw-back’ mechanism functions via the state placing ‘liens’ on individual assets at the point the Medicaid recipient reaches age 55, then recovers the money at the point the Medicaid recipient dies by ‘seizing’ the money from the estate.

When first put into effect, these ‘claw-back’ provisions were primarily intended to recover costs to the state of providing long term nursing home care for older recipients.

ObamaCare’s expanded Medicaid has, of course, now waived the assets portion of the ‘means test’. But under current law, those assets are subject to ‘claw-back’.

At the moment, the monthly ‘administrative fee’ amount for Medi-Cal is $611. Those who sign up for Medicaid may not be doing themselves any favors.

Medi-Cal estate recovery refers to state action to reclaim certain Medi-Cal costs from the estates of beneficiaries after their death. This program, which has been in place for decades, has received renewed attention from policymakers because of reports that some individuals newly eligible for Medi-Cal as expanded under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) may not enroll for fear that their house and assets could later be seized.

... States also have the option to take a more expansive approach and seek recovery of costs for other covered services, not just LTSS, provided to beneficiaries age 55 and older. California has chosen this option and seeks recovery of Medi-Cal costs for all covered services provided to beneficiaries age 55 and over, with the exception of personal care services provided through the state’s In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) program. California has elected to use property liens to protect its claim in cases where the beneficiary was permanently institutionalized and not expected to return home. Medi-Cal places a lien against the beneficiary’s property while the beneficiary is still alive so it can seek recovery when the individual passes away or when the property is sold.

OBAMA goes around Congress, lifts ban on Libyans attending U.S. Flight Schools and studying nuclear science

Less than two years after four Americans got massacred in a terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission in Benghazi, Libya the Obama administration is disregarding congressional opposition to lift a decades-old ban on Libyans attending flight schools and training as nuclear scientists in the United States.

Judicial Watch  The ban was implemented in 1983 after a wave of terrorist incidents involving Libyans. The African nation continues to be a hotbed of terrorism and in fact, the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli was recently evacuated because violence between rival militias has created a deadly environment. Many other foreign governments have also shut down their embassies in Libya because the violence has spread throughout the entire country.

 

Nevertheless, President Obama has discounted congressional opposition to let Libyans train as pilots, airplane mechanics and nuclear scientists in the United States. Perhaps the commander-in-chief has somehow forgotten that many of the 9/11 hijackers—mostly Saudi nationals—received their training in American flights schools because our government allowed it. Have we not learned that it’s a really bad idea to help our enemies obtain skills that could later be used to attack us?

 

Official word of this senseless change comes via a final regulation approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). It lifts the longtime prohibition on Libyans coming to the U.S. to attend flight school, work in aviation maintenance or flight operations or to study or train in nuclear science. The Obama administration claims that the ban is no longer necessary because the “United States Government and the Government of Libya have normalized their relationship and most of the restrictions and sanctions imposed by the United States and the United Nations toward Libya have been lifted.”

The move comes just a few months after a congressional hearing addressed what was then the administration’s proposal to overturn the 30-year ban. Before actually reversing the longtime regulation, the administration was required to provide Congress with certain documents that were never provided, according to the heads of the House Judiciary Committee and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee considering the matter. In other words, the president has once again blown off Congress and this week the lawmakers involved in the process expressed outrage.

 

“The Obama Administration is turning a blind eye to real terrorist threats that exist in Libya today by carelessly forging ahead with its plan to allow Libyan pilots and nuclear scientists to study in the United States,” said House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte. “The House Judiciary Committee has repeatedly sought information about the Administration’s policy reversal but political appointees at the Department of Homeland Security have stonewalled the Committee’s requests and have not articulated why it is in Americans’ best interests to change policy.

 

Given the ongoing volatility in Libya, it is unconscionable and completely irresponsible that the Administration plans to lift a longstanding policy that protects Americans and our national security from threats in the region.”

 

At the congressional hearing earlier this year, a top Homeland Security official revealed that the Hillary Clinton State Department first requested the Libyan ban lift in 2010. Three years later, the official, Alan Bersin, told Congress, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano agreed to begin the process to amend the regulations relating to Libya. This illustrates that the administration started working to lift the ban long before the 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound in Benghazi. Clearly, it was not enough to deter the administration from going forth with its dangerous plan.

US Consumer Spending Unexpectedly Dips; Zero for 79

Mainstream media headlines in the last two days offer an amusing look at GDP forecasts.

GDP Stronger Than Expected

Yesterday, the Financial Times reported US Rebound Stronger than First Thought.

The US economy’s second quarter bounce was stronger than previously thought, with the official annualised growth estimate increased from 4 per cent to 4.2 per cent.

The revision is more evidence of robust underlying growth in the world’s biggest economy as it swung back from a weather affected 2.1 per cent fall in the first quarter.

"Economic Pilot in Reverse"

Today, the Wall Street Journal reported U.S. Consumer Spending Declines 0.1% in July.

Consumer spending fell in July and income growth was weak, signs that cautious consumers could restrain economic growth in the second half of the year.

Personal spending, which measures what Americans pay for everything from sneakers to doctor visits, declined a seasonally adjusted 0.1% in July from a month earlier, the Commerce Department said Friday. It was the first time spending fell in a month since January.

Personal income, reflecting income from wages, investment, and government aid, rose 0.2% in July—the smallest monthly increase of the year.

"Looks like the pilot threw the economy's engines into reverse at the start of the third quarter," said Chris Rupkey, chief financial economist at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ. Forecasts that the economy would grow at a strong 3% clip in the third quarter "look increasingly unrealistic if consumers don't return to the shops and malls."

Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal had predicted personal spending would increase 0.1% and incomes would rise 0.3% in July.

Barclays lowered its forecast for third-quarter growth by a half-percentage point to a 2.2% pace. Goldman Sachs economists lowered their estimate to a 3.1% annual rate from a 3.3% pace.

Obama’s 5 Worst Foreign Policy Decisions

Since Barack Obama has been the Hindenburg of Presidents on the domestic front, there hasn't been as much commentary as you'd expect about the fact that he has been the Titanic of Presidents on foreign policy. 

 

George W. Bush certainly made his mistakes as President, primarily in Iraq, but you did at least get the sense that his administration was full of capable, serious adults sincerely grappling with a new strategic problem for the country. On the other hand, when it comes to foreign policy, Obama comes across like a bored kid playing war because his mother won't let him come inside and play with his Xbox.

He doesn't care very much, he's not prepared, and he doesn't spend a lot of time thinking things through. It's like Obama just ponders the issues in-between shots on the golf course, formulates his policy by shooting from the hip, then gives a speech about it and thinks his work is done.

We may have laughed at the incompetence of the Obama Administration when it gave a "reset" button to the Russians that actually said "overcharge" or when the POTUS bowed to a foreign leader like he was his butler instead of the President of the United States, but there are real consequences to Obama's buffoonery on the world stage.

5) Benghazi: Congress is still investigating Benghazi, but best case scenario, the Obama Administration got Americans killed in Libya by ignoring their repeated requests for more security in a dangerous part of the world. Worst case scenario, the Obama Administration got them killed, deliberately misled the public about what happened for political purposes, and did nothing when it could have conceivably acted and saved their lives. When all the investigations are completed, we'll have a clearer picture of what happened, but at a minimum, good people are dead because the Obama Administration didn't take basic precautions to save their lives.

4) Libya: Gaddafi was an evil dictator with American blood on his hands, but he had also been scared straight by Bush’s invasion of Iraq and was cooperating with the United States. So naturally, Obama signaled the world that it was dumb to work with us by helping radical Islamists defeat Gaddafi. Today, Libya has implemented Sharia law, is a hotbed of terrorism and is descending into civil war. Meanwhile, many of Obama’s supporters still consider that country to be a “success story.” Maybe it is compared to say, Obamacare -- but like most of Obama’s presidency, we’d have all been better off if he’d just done nothing and let Gaddafi crush the radical Islamists.

3) Obama's Iranian Nuclear Deal: After a lot of grumbling that Obama wasn't doing anything to stop Iran from building nuclear weapons, Obama swung into action and made the situation even worse. He signed a deal with Iran that will allow it to rake in somewhere between 7 and 20 billion dollars in sanctions relief and frozen assets even as it CONTINUES to work on enriching uranium. In other words, the Iranians get billions of dollars, give up nothing of consequence and when anyone complains, Obama claims the problem is solved because we have a "deal" in place stopping Iran from getting nuclear weapons. Given how bad a negotiator Obama is, I guess we should feel lucky that he didn't just give Iran a nuclear bomb in return for promises that it will never use it.

2) The Bowe Bergdahl swap: There's a reason that it is our nation's policy not to negotiate with terrorists. If you reward terrorists for their terrorism, it encourages more of the same. So, when Barack Obama broke the law to release five Taliban generals in return for deserter Bowe Bergdahl, he served notice to every terrorist on the planet that kidnapping Americans could pay big dividends. So it’s not exactly shocking that ISIS is promising to murder a captured relief worker if the U.S. doesn’t pay it millions and release Aafia Siddiqui AKA “Lady al-Qaeda.” After the Bergdahl deal, why wouldn’t ISIS expect that to work? Why wouldn’t Al-Qaeda start trying to capture our troops to trade for terrorists in Gitmo? How many of our soldiers will end up being kidnapped and held because of this swap? How many Americans will die when those Taliban generals inevitably go back to the fight? The Bergdahl swap was illegal, short-sighted, and stupid. In other words, it was VERY OBAMA.

1) Iraq/Isis: Despite being told over and over again that it was a terrible idea to set up a timeline in Iraq and pull out of the country for political reasons without getting a Status of Forces Agreement, Obama did it anyway. Then he bragged that "We’re leaving behind a sovereign, stable and self-reliant Iraq."
 
Not so much.

That’s because ISIS sprang up in Syria as one of the groups fighting anti-American dictator Bashar al-Assad. After Assad rather famously crossed Obama’s imaginary “red line” by using chemical weapons against the rebels trying to overthrow him, Obama wanted to aid them, even though there was every indication that radicals were taking over the movement. Had the public outcry not stopped him, it’s entirely possible Obama would have accidentally ended up helping ISIS take over Syria.

After ISIS gathered strength, it moved into Iraq where it outfought an Iraqi army that outnumbered it 15-to-1. If only those troops had more American training and a minimal amount of American air support, they would have crushed ISIS like a steamroller running over a watermelon with no U.S. casualties. Instead, there’s now an Islamic State stretching from Syria to Iraq run by maniacs who are committing genocide against Christians, taking sex slaves, and promising terrorist attacks against the United States.

What’s Obama’s plan to handle this disaster his policies created? Earlier this week, he said, “We don’t have a strategy yet. We need to make sure that we’ve got clear plans. As our strategy develops, we will consult with Congress.”

Wow. Just wow.

Obama at Fundraiser: 'The World's Always Been Messy'

President Barack Obama told a group of Democratic donors today that despite turmoil in Ukraine and Iraq the U.S. faces less of a threat than it did during the Cold War.

In remarks to about 250 supporters who paid as much as $15,000 per couple to attend a backyard barbecue in Purchase, New York, Obama today said the brutality of Islamic State extremists in Iraq and Syria, and Russia’s incursion into Ukraine, has made Americans anxious about turmoil overseas.

The U.S. has confronted greater dangers and overcame them, including the stand-off with the former Soviet Union following World War II, he said.

“This is not something that’s comparable to the challenges we faced in the Cold War,” Obama said. “This is something we can handle.”

Obama has moved cautiously in confronting Russia’s support for separatists in Ukraine and the Islamic State extremists who have captured swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria. On Aug. 8, Obama authorized airstrikes against the militants in Iraq while ordering surveillance flights over Syria.

Yesterday he again ruled out military action in Ukraine, saying a military solution won’t sort out the conflict there with Russia.

“The world has always been messy,” Obama said. “We will get through these challenging times just like we have in the past.”

Three Fundraisers

The event in Purchase was one of three fundraisers Obama was attending today. It was held at the estate of former UBS Americas chief executive officer and longtime supporter Robert Wolf and his wife, Carol Wolf, coordinator for special projects at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights.

Earlier, in New Rochelle, New York, the president met with 25 supporters donating up to $32,400 at a fundraiser hosted by George Logothetis, chief executive officer of New York-based Libra Group, and his wife, Nitzia Logothetis.

Both events were to benefit the Democratic National Committee. The third event, in Newport, Rhode Island, is a fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Obama, who was originally scheduled to spend the night in New York, plans to return to Washington tonight. He is still set to return to Westchester, New York, tomorrow to attend the wedding of the first family’s personal chef, Sam Kass, who is marrying MSNBC host Alex Wagner.

Imminent Terrorist Attack Warning By Feds on US Border

The FBI’s 2013 National Threat Assessment for Domestic Extremism, first flagged by the Washington Free Beacon, is already facing criticism following its August 13, 2014, release. Critics are pointing to the Boston Marathon bombing and the 2009 Fort Hood shooting as recent examples of acts of domestic terrorism carried out by Muslims.

Islamic terrorist groups are operating in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and planning to attack the United States with car bombs or other vehicle born improvised explosive devices (VBIED). High-level federal law enforcement, intelligence and other sources have confirmed to Judicial Watch that a warning bulletin for an imminent terrorist attack on the border has been issued. Agents across a number of Homeland Security, Justice and Defense agencies have all been placed on alert and instructed to aggressively work all possible leads and sources concerning this imminent terrorist threat.

FBI National Domestic Threat Assessment omits Islamic terrorism

According to the FBI, there are “eight types of domestic extremist movements—none motivated by radical Islam. They include anti-government militia groups and white supremacy extremists, along with ‘sovereign citizen’ nationalists, and anarchists. Other domestic threat groups outlined by the FBI assessment include violent animal rights and environmentalist extremists, black separatists, anti- and pro-abortion activists, and Puerto Rican nationalists.” Jihad? What’s that? Oh, the interior spiritual struggle for self-improvement? What does that have to do with terrorism?

This is the willful ignorance that, as I show in my book Arab Winter Comes to America, led directly to the Fort Hood and Boston Marathon jihad massacres.

The FBI’s most recent national threat assessment for domestic terrorism makes no reference to Islamist terror threats, despite last year’s Boston Marathon bombing and the 2009 Fort Hood shooting—both carried out by radical Muslim Americans.

Instead, the internal FBI intelligence report concluded in its 2013 assessment published this month that the threat to U.S. internal security from extremists is limited to attacks and activities by eight types of domestic extremist movements—none motivated by radical Islam.

They include anti-government militia groups and white supremacy extremists, along with “sovereign citizen” nationalists, and anarchists. Other domestic threat groups outlined by the FBI assessment include violent animal rights and environmentalist extremists, black separatists, anti- and pro-abortion activists, and Puerto Rican nationalists.

“Domestic extremist violence continues to be unpredictable and, at times, severe,” the report states.

A copy of the unclassified, 60-page National Threat Assessment for Domestic Extremism, dated Aug. 14, was obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. It warns that the threat of domestic-origin extremism was moderate in 2013 and will remain so for this year.

“Domestic extremists collectively presented a medium-level threat to the United States in 2013; the FBI assesses the 2014 threat will remain close to this level,” the report said….

FBI spokesman Paul Bresson had no immediate comment on the report.

One indirect explanation for the omission of Islamist extremism in the report is provided in a footnote to a graphic describing an “other” category of domestic extremism not included in the report. “The ‘Other’ category includes domestic extremist [sic] whose actions were motivated by beliefs which fall outside the eight designated [domestic terrorism] subprograms,” the footnote stated.

The footnote indicates the FBI has separated Islamist terrorism from other domestic extremism.

The Obama administration in 2009 adopted a new policy that substituted the vague term “violent extremism” as a replacement for terrorism.

The graphic showed that domestic extremists killed 43 people from 2003 to 2013 carried out by five categories of terrorists—abortion extremists, black separatists, sovereign citizens, white supremacists, and “others.”

The report left out all references to the April 2013 bombing of the Boston Marathon, which killed three people and injured some 264 others. Two brothers, Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who were motivated by Islamist extremist beliefs, carried out the bombing. They learned the techniques for the homemade pressure cooker bombers from an al Qaeda linked magazine.

The FBI had been warned in advance of the attack by Russian security services that the brothers may have links to Chechen terrorists but failed to act.

The FBI report also made no direct reference to the 2009 Fort Hood shooting, by radicalized Army Maj. Nidal Hasan. The mass shooting left 13 dead and more than 30 injured.

Islam is becoming more extreme with each passing year and with only token impediment from President Barack Obama. I believe the president is either naïve or he is purposely helping Islamic aspirations for global domination.

That there is something wrong at the White House is becoming apparent in the wake of the cancer that can be seen in the growing violence in the Middle East by the Islamic State. The terrorist group also known as ISIS or ISIL is a cancer that is a long-term threat to all of us. It is a cancer whose virility can be diagnosed by the gruesome beheading of American photojournalist James Foley, reportedly by a born and bred Englishman who joined ISIS and is now a wanted traitor.

Still, apologists say this and every other terror attack and broadcast execution have nothing to do with Islam. Rather, such acts are the work of terrorists or — as former President George W. Bush called the 9/11 terrorists — “evildoers.”

News flash: Islam at its marrow is the evildoer. It isn’t because the majority of Muslims are involved in a global jihad. In truth, they are a very small minority. Instead, it’s because more than 90 percent of Muslims refuse to speak out against the barbaric goals of the terrorists in their ranks.

In many ways radical Islam is no different than Nazism of the 1930s. But rather than a single race following the evil edict of Adolf Hitler, evil and radical Islam is driven by millions of Muslims following the teachings of the Quran.

Liberalism brings with it an army of appeasers. In the late 1930s, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain and America’s ambassador to Britain, Joseph Kennedy, thought Hitler was a leader they could work with. Certainly, most of the 40 million Germans didn’t want war. When the Nazi leadership pressed it upon them, a small minority protested and many were exterminated.

World War III may have commenced, and the apologists are doing their utmost to deny the fact that radical Islam has its sights set not only on the domination of the Middle East but also on — within the next half century — the world.

In an interview with Mike Huckabee, author Joel Richardson said the number of radical Muslims is as high as 250 million. They are soulless when it comes to murder and mayhem against Western democratic nations. That is a quarter of a billion people spread around the world — some likely living not far from you, some hoping for the death and destruction of “nonbelievers” as is proclaimed in the Quran. This idea that Islam is a peace-loving religion — as expressed by Bush and emphasized by a man I consider to be a Muslim, Obama — puts America in grave jeopardy.

I believe that Islam is as evil and an even greater world threat to free thought than Nazism. Radical Muslims are fighting a guerrilla war in which thousands, and sometimes millions, of Islamic zealots become more radical each year and more willing to take up arms against the very peoples who provide them freedom and comfort.

Two hundred and fifty million Muslims are devoted not to a man and twisted hate and political dogma but to their god, their prophet and even their imam. To go against them and the Quran does not risk jail or even execution but the eternal damnation of hellfire.

"I don’t want to put the cart before the horse...We don't have a strategy yet," Obama bloviated during his recent press conference when asked what he plans to do about ISIS. Stumbling for a answer...as he had NO teleprompted script to read from...Obama finally spit those words out, but the truth is that Obama does indeed have a strategy and it's called 'screw America, screw Iraq, and screw Israel'...because for him it's all about the caliphate and always has been.

“We cannot appease this ideology. We have to confront it at home and abroad... We are in the middle of a generational struggle against a poisonous and extremist ideology that I believe we will be fighting for years and probably decades,” David Cameron said when addressing the British people. Words spoken by a man now truly looking like a leader instead of looking like a man who's obviously bored with the job, the people, and the Constitution he swore to uphold and protect.

And David Cameron did NOT just spew words... he took action. First, he's denying muslims who leave Britain the ability to get their visa's back making it so they cannot re-enter the country, and he's also allowing the British people to have their say in any future strategy Britain takes in the...it seems...never ending fight against these barbarians. Meanwhile, our president (I still gag calling him that) informs 'We the People' that he and his administration have NO strategy against ISIS at all.

Well, let me give Obama a strategy that would end the situation with ISIS once and for all..a strategy that's really quite simple...a strategy called 'shock and awe'...as in carpet bomb these barbarians back to the 7th century where they belong...period. NO need for American boots on the ground...NO need for one American life to be lost...just bomb and keep bombing them until they are gone...it really is like I said quite simple. And screw the 'collateral damage' for in this battle we're now in its either them or us...and I sure as hell want the victor to be us NOT them.

But instead of doing the obviously simple, Obama has now given Secretary of Defense Chuck 'muslim supporting' Hagel and the Joint Chiefs of Staff the task of coming up with military options. “We’re gonna cobble together the kind of coalition that we need for a long-term strategy as soon as we are able to fit together the military, political and economic components of that strategy,” Obama said. “There will be a military aspect to that,” he quickly added.

So...let's get this straight...this most miserable excuse of a president now wants... YES wants...more Americans to die instead of bombing the hell out of the enemy. And so the truth once again becomes apparent that we have a president who does NOT side with America...a president who does NOT side with or care about 'We the People' or about those brave men and women who risk their lives to keep us safe and free at home. And we have a president who most assuredly does NOT support or care about men struggling to be free...men who need action now NOT a task force to decide what will be done if anything will be done at all.

Sadly, we have a president...the 'supposed' leader of the free world...who sides with the enemy time and time again for we have a president who is more concerned about muslim lives lost than he is about American lives lost...about allies lost...for the simple truth is that if he cared about anyone or anything besides his muslim brethren Barack HUSSEIN Obama would NOT even be thinking about placing American boots on the ground...he would be bombing ISIS back to bowels of hell from which they came. And he most definitely would NOT be going to fundraisers...nor would he continuously be on the golf course detached from reality...as he purposely does these things while the world moves closer to what the lyrics of an old 60's song called the 'Eve of Destruction.'

And words spoken do indeed matter for they speak of what's in one's heart...of what's in one's soul...and Barack HUSSEIN Obama's heart and his soul are cold. So while David Cameron's words call ISIS a "poisonous extremism" that poses "a clear danger to Europe and to our security," Obama speaks of ISIS as a "JV team" who poses NO imminent danger to America...making them a second string player if you will. And while Obama continues to refer to ISIS as ISIL...knowing full well that he has now willingly aligned himself...and thus America...with ISIS...as he knows and understands that the word ISIL is a direct insult to Israel...that the word ISIL is an acronym that does NOT recognize the existence of the Jewish State of Israel...and he is more than happy with that.

And sometimes words spoken do come back to haunt for Obama also defended during this press conference his (unconstitutional) decision NOT to seek authorization from Congress before beginning air strikes on ISIS just three short weeks ago. Claiming the urgency of the threat to the U.S. consulate in Erbil required immediate action he said, “I can’t afford to wait in order to make sure that those folks are protected,” forgetting that those words were NEVER spoken nor were any actions taken almost two years ago when Ambassador Christopher Stevens begged for protection...begged for help...in a place known as Benghazi.

But does any of this matter...do any actions taken or words said mean ISIS will be stopped...NOT with Barack HUSSEIN Obama as president for he knows that ISIS wants to march down Pennsylvania Avenue and raise its flag over the White House and NOTHING of true lasting substance is being done to stop them. So while Obama's on the golf course hitting more golf balls with that infamous stupid 'gotcha' smirk on his face, ISIS will march in through our unsealed southern border and make themselves at home...make themselves at home at the 'American People's House'...that is unless Congress does what they know needs to be done...and starts doing it NOW for pretty soon it will sadly be too late to do anything at all.

New Al Qaeda Magazine Hints an Attack on US Is Imminent

Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula’s media branch is out with a new English language magazine, Palestine-Betrayal of the Guilty Conscience Al-Malahem. The new publication, a spin-off of Inspire, is calling on fellow Muslims to wage acts of terror in the United States and Britain.

Fox News reports:

A new English-language Al Qaeda magazine features a how-to article on making car bombs and suggests terror targets in the United States, including casinos in Las Vegas, oil tankers and military colleges, and implies that an attack is imminent. […] 

“The timeline concludes with the date 201?’ and blank spaces and question marks for the photo and information of the next attack -- implying that it is coming soon,” said MEMRI Executive Director Steve Stalinsky.

There is a suggested list of targets for lone-wolf, or individually executed, terror attacks, including New York's Times Square, casinos and night clubs in Las Vegas, oil tankers and trains, the Georgia Military College, the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and General Atomics defense contractor in San Diego.

“This recipe gives you the ability to make a car bomb even in countries with tight security and surveillance,” one article reads, before providing a “shopping list” of supplies needed to make such a bomb, including cooking gas, oxygen gas, a barometer, decoration lamps and matches.

There is also a list of targets in Britain including a military academy and the Marks and Spencers chain of department stores. The magazine calls for the stores to be hit on Friday during prayers so that Muslims won’t be affected. […]

In a nine-page spread entitled, “How to make a bomb in the kitchen of your mom,” the magazine details a do-it-yourself, illustrated guide on assembling a pressure-cooker bomb similar to the ones used in the Boston Marathon bombings.

“My Muslim brother, before you start reading the instructions, remember that this type of operation if prepared well and an appropriate target is chosen and Allah decrees success for you, history will never forget it. It will be recorded as a crushing defeat on the enemies of Islam,” the article says.

So what are the chances of an attack on the homeland? U.S. intelligence officials are currently investigating the increased likelihood, Fox reports, but ISIS has already issued several threats against America, including taunting tweets that show they’re already here.

An attack on the U.S. and other Western countries “will come probably sooner rather than later,” retired Gen. Michael Hayden said on CNN Sunday morning.

Obama's Segue From Constructive Tax Proposals to Low-Grade Demagoguery

"The tax system should be simplified and work for all Americans with lower individual and corporate tax rates and fewer brackets."

That's from the Obama administration's 2009 proposals for tax reform, straight from whitehouse.gov.

"Because our corporate tax system is so riddled with special interest loopholes," the document goes on, "our system has one of the highest statutory rates among developed countries to generate about the same amount of corporate tax revenue as our developed country partners as a share of our economy."

That is still accurate except that, now that Japan has lowered its corporate tax rate, the U.S. is not "among the highest" but is the highest among developed countries.

The first step in establishing good public policy is identifying problems with and weaknesses in current policy. On the corporate tax, President Obama and his administration started off on the right foot.

Unfortunately, they haven't moved any further.

Not while Democrats held supermajorities in both houses of Congress in 2009 and 2010. Not in the so-called grand bargain negotiations with House Speaker John Boehner in 2011.

And not in Obama's second term. Acting apparently on the belief that he voiced on the campaign trail, that the Republicans' "fever" would break once he was re-elected -- evidently he regards opposition to his policies as sickness -- Obama upped the ante.

His previous proposals for corporate tax reform were revenue-neutral. Rates would be cut and preferences eliminated so as to maintain the same revenue stream.

But his 2013 proposal was different. Corporate tax reform would have to increase revenue. More money to spend on infrastructure or food stamps or crony-connected solar panel subsidies.

Coupled with that was the appointment of Jack Lew as secretary of the Treasury. Participants in the 2011 grand bargain discussions reported that Lew was the most partisan and obdurate of administration negotiators. His appointment was a signal the president wanted no deal.

Even so, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, a Democrat, and House Ways and Means Chairman Dave Camp, a Republican, engaged in extensive negotiations with a view to overall tax reform.

The United States is not doing enough to prevent radicalized Americans from travelling back-and-forth between countries dominated by Islamist radicals, Wolf said.

“The U.S. is not taking any substantial steps to discourage Americans from going over to fight—and these would-be fighters can see there is little price to pay for doing so,” the letter states. “This is an untenable situation that puts our country at greater risk of attack from a radicalized American who trains and fights with these groups and later returns home.” Republican Frank Wolf, Va.

Obama: “We don’t have a strategy yet” on the Islamic State

A rare moment of candor. Not only does he not yet have a strategy; he doesn’t yet have the courage to call the threat what it really is, or to acknowledge that the actions of the Islamic State have deep roots in Islamic theology and law. There is no way that we can defeat an enemy we do not understand, and Obama refuses to understand this one.

U.S. President Barack Obama addressed a pair of worsening world crises Thursday afternoon, blaming Russia for escalating violence in eastern regions of Ukraine and admitting he doesn’t yet have a strategy to confront the extremist group calling itself the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (also ISIS or ISIL).

His statement from the White House came amid a day of significant escalation in the crisis in Ukraine, as Ukraine’s president accused Russia of sending troops across the border to fight with pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine’s southeastern regions. Obama said it was clear the ongoing violence had been “encouraged” by Russia, who he said trained and armed separatists in the violence-stricken regions.

“Russia is responsible for the violence in eastern Ukraine,” Obama said. “This ongoing Russian incursion into Ukraine will only bring more costs and consequences for Russia.”

Obama is scheduled to meet Thursday evening with members of his National Security Council, as well as Vice President Joe Biden, on a strategy to further confront the extremist group ISIS in Iraq and Syria. A White House official said no new decisions are expected on how to proceed Thursday.

“I don’t want to put the cart before the horse,” Obama said, when asked about the next steps in confronting the group.

“We don’t have a strategy yet,” he said….

During the summer’s Gaza war, hundreds of Hamas militants surrendered to or were otherwise captured by Israeli forces. In the course of interrogation, many of these prisoners were candid regarding the unlawful tactics of their leaders.

Israel Today  A statement released by the Shin Bet, or Israel Security Agency (the local equivalent of the American FBI) noted that the investigation of these prisoners confirmed that “prominent use was made of mosques and hospitals [in Gaza] as meeting points and hideouts. Worse still was the digging of tunnels and launch sites, and the placing of arsenals, near kindergartens.”

 

The Shin Bet went on to list a number of the more revealing testimonies, including the names and hometowns of the more chatty prisoners, a move that is certain to get them labeled as “collaborators” back in Gaza.

 

• Abdel Rahman Balousha from Khan Younis revealed that the Alsafa and Alabra mosques in his hometown served as meeting and assembly points for Hamas terrorists.

• Muhammad Ala’a from Khan Younis and Muwaz Abu Tim from Bani Suheila said that they were recruited for Hamas military activity at mosques in their respective hometowns.

• Muhammad Ramadan from Khan Younis said that his February 2014 training as an anti-tank fighter took place in a hall located beneath the Alshafi mosque. He added that the hall serves as an Izzadin Al-Kassam Brigades training and instruction facility.

• Muhammad Alqadra from Khan Younis said that several local mosques served as sites to conceal war materiel such as RPGs, heavy PKC machine guns and AK–47s. He added that local schools and hospitals, including the Nasser and Halal hospitals, were also arsenals.

• Afif Jerakh and Amad Jerakh from Beit Lahiya said that an attack tunnel had been dug close to a kindergarten.

• Muhammad Abu Daraz from Greater Ibsan said a tunnel in which he worked was begun next to the Alfukhari clinic adjacent to the Abu Daka family home. He said that in the area in Hazara in which he was arrested there is a kindergarten, next to a clinic, to which he was to bring prisoners in the event of a successful kidnapping.

• Muhammad Alqadra from Khan Younis said that it was well known that senior Hamas leaders and their armed bodyguards, usually in police uniforms, openly hide in hospitals.

• Marad Amr said that before he was arrested he saw a Hamas Toyota military jeep blocking the entrance to the European hospital in Khan Younis.

   

Shin Bet insisted that given this evidence, “it is clear…that Hamas knowingly and intentionally operates in and adjacent to civilian areas… Hamas deliberately operates in these locales, thus turning the civilian population into human shields on the assumption that Israel will be blamed for any injury and loss of life.”

GOP, It’s Time To Bring Down The Hammer On Obama Corruption!

Barring a late-season push, the Democrats are heading into this fall’s midterm elections looking at a near total loss.

President Barack Obama is dragging down his party’s image like a battleship anchor lashed to a rowboat.

Direct assaults on Americans’ individual liberties, once laughed off as “phony” by the Democratic ownership, have clung to the headlines like a particularly virulent fungus, mostly because Obama and his minions have a bad habit of doubling down when they get caught lying. But most importantly, the Democrats’ willful refusal to acknowledge that they’re not the only ones whose opinions count has infuriated Americans to no end. Yet the Republicans appear to be doing everything they can to keep the Dems in the game. At this point, as the country reels from yet another race-infused nightmare made infinitely worse by the machinations of Obama and his ilk, the only reason the Democrats are still in the midterm electoral fight is GOP hesitation to deliver the knockout blow.

Obviously, the biggest violator of the public trust is Obama himself. His scandal-plagued regime’s tendency to launch vicious attacks on his perceived enemies not only has produced the still-unresolved Obamacare fraud debacle, the Benghazi nightmare, the NSA domestic spying scandal, the outrageous use of the IRS as a political weapon and a foreign policy as confused as it is impotent; but it also has produced a presidency that is every bit as detached and isolated from the people it purportedly serves as the Hollywood bobbleheads are from the shmoes who buy tickets to sit through their dreck. Nonetheless, beyond the efforts of dedicated public servants like Congressmen Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) and Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the Republicans have made almost no effort to return justice to the fore. Instead, they’re suing the president.

The Palestinian Crisis is Linked to the ISIS Crisis in Jordan

As the world continues its descent into hell, Iran is conducting what's called 'mechanical' tests on a new highly advanced centrifuge...a centrifuge NOT part of those currently under UN watch... centrifuges that will be used to refine uranium allowing Iran to garner atomic bomb material much faster than ever before. And if that's NOT bad enough, it's now come to light that U.S. troops under Obama's watch and command trained ISIS members at secret a base in Jordan in 2012.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama claims that the rise of ISIS was unexpected...and has caught everyone off guard. In a word...LIAR...as the facts speak for themselves. Facts like that in February 2012, the U.S., Turkey, and Jordan were operating a training camp for roughly 200 rebels who belonged to the Free Syrian Army...who in turn became members of ISIS...and did so in Safawi, a town in Jordan's northern desert region. There were also plans to train more 'so-called' rebels at two other camps in the south and the east of Jordan. Obama knew about this and sanctioned this as NO secret U.S. operations are done without the president's knowledge and approval...as did Jordan's King Abdullah II for the same reasons, and also because of his fear that the violence in Iraq would spill over into his own country...which it has. More on that in a bit.

Claiming to have vetted all those being trained for any ties to terror groups like al-Qaida...another LIE... these people were focused on the use of anti-tank weaponry...weaponry needed when engaging those trying to takeover a country or when engaging those trying to keep their country from being overtaken. And with it being known that Saudi Arabia is one of the brethren countries arming ISIS...and with Obama's constant catering and bowing down to Saudi's king...he damn well knew about ISIS training fighters in Turkey as well...fighters who then went to Iraq via Syria to slaughter any who opposed them in their quest to establish a strict islamic caliphate throughout the Middle East...and then to spread west.

And the spread west has started with Jordan being ISIS' first stop. Now openly marching into many Jordanian cities with their flags of death held high, King Abdullah's forces are doing NOTHING to stop them. But the question is does ISIS actually have the support of Jordan's people...let the facts speak for themselves with the primary fact being that Jordan's 6.3 million Palestinians are NOT happy with the king who denies them rights, privileges, and assistance other Jordanians receive.

And with Jordan's government-controlled media suddenly taking to calling Mohammed Dief...the chief commander of the al-Qassam Brigade (the military wing of Hamas) and the man whose wife and child were killed in one of Israel's recent IDF attacks...a hero...you know that things will only go from bad to worse in Jordan.

And the worse started in the town of Ma'an where the ISIS flag flies over the city. Ma’an is a Bedouin village in the southern part of Jordan whose people are strong fundamentalists with many being Salafists...strict adherents of the haddith...strict in their belief of islamic orthodoxy, temporal proximity to muhammad, and that their beliefs are the truest form of islam...translating into every single word laid down in the qur-an and haddith are NEVER to be questioned...much like some believe that every single word in the Bible is true and must NEVER be questioned.

On June 24th, Ma'an saw a pro-ISIS demonstration take place...a demonstration where the black flag of ISIS waved over many businesses and government buildings...flags that are still there today. And this demonstration took place with NO interference from Abdullah's government forces...forces who looked on but did NOT a thing to stop them even with King Abdullah being on ISIS' hit list. And critical amid shouts of 'allahu akbar' and 'Jordan will be an islamic state,' one important fact must be noted...in this demonstration those taking part did NOT cover their faces... meaning they have NO fear of the Jordanian government, its police, its secret service, or its king. And without fear of the state or fear of the king...the country becomes ripe for ISIS to move in and actually take over with NO opposition whatsoever...and many who would have lost their heads will now get to keep them.

And as ISIS moves further into Jordan with NO opposition facing them, this means Israel faces a precarious situation as Jordan, just by its being where it is geographically, serves as a buffer of sorts between them and the jihadists in Iraq and Iran...jihadits whose goal is to wipe Israel off the map. In fact, after rummages started coming from the Middle East that there will soon be a battle between the IDF and ISIS itself...even though the Saudi and Jordanian kings, the prime minister of Iraq, the president of Egypt, and the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood are who ISIS plans to take out first...ISIS issued this statement on its Twitter account: “We haven’t given orders to kill the Israelis and the Jews. The war against the nearer enemy, those who rebel against the faith, is more important. Allah commands us in the Koran to fight the hypocrites, because they are much more dangerous than those who are fundamentally heretics.” And they cited the first caliph, Abu Bakr, as proof as he was a man who began by fighting those who rebelled against the faith, as well as Saladin, who fought the Shi’ites in Egypt before conquering Jerusalem...meaning Israel has time to prepare against ISIS but that she must also face the fact that if Jordan falls ISIS will be at their door.

And this means that Jordan must be kept intact to both stop ISIS and to give the Palestinians their Jordanian birthright back to them, and if given their birthright back they will NO longer be banned from jobs, from getting an education, etc., and thus their lot in life will improve. But currently with NO birthright...and remember the term 'Palestinians' is a made-up term...they have hit rock bottom with NO hope per se, so by NOT fighting back against ISIS...by welcoming of sorts ISIS into Jordan even knowing of their brutality...they hope their willing acceptance of them will afford them a different outcome than others have faced.

Now let's go back to the 1987 intifada, and remember that before 1987 the Palestinians and Israelis lived side by side...co-existing if you will. And know that this intifada would NEVER have happened without Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and the Arab Emirates pumping billions of dollars into it with their sole goal of keeping Israel 'busy' so to speak. And it's in the Obama administration's best interest...in Obama's personal interests of siding with his muslim brethren...to keep Israel from becoming an outright regional super power. So it had to be made that if Israel 'sleeps' even for one day that they will be NO more...hence the 'manufactured' problems in Gaza and the West Bank. And in Obama's reasoning...that is if you call what he does reasoning...if you can't 'officially' in the eyes of the world claim Jerusalem as your own capital you must be kept under control...you must be kept on a tight leash. And the so-called Palestinians are being used as the most promoted cause in the world in order to keep Israel under that control for Israel must be kept weak as anti-Semitism is big business. And the Palestinian cause may just be why all modern American presidents have NOT 'officially' accepted Jerusalem as Israel's official capital.

And so it's in Israel's best interest to defuse the Palestinian cause by supporting, in secret, a Palestinian homeland in Jordan. And with King Abdullah facing strong opposition at home, it becomes apparent that if he is to stay in power he needs to give something back...as in giving the Palestinians back their Jordanian birthright ...and that birthright does NOT necessarily have to involve physically giving them land. In fact, Article 2 of Jordan's Citizenship Law of 1956, says all non-Jewish Palestinians are born Jordanians...meaning all Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, Syria, and Lebanon are Jordanians by law and are entitled to all that law affords them.

And all Abdullah needs to do is just apply the law as written and the entire Palestinian situation would be resolved with a simple signature on paper. And that signature would lead the way for Jordan and Israel together, along with Egypt, to become a strong united force that could keep ISIS at bay. And know that el-Sisi is a true ally of Israel as he grew up in the Jewish quarters in Cairo's Khuronshouf district. And he holds fond memories of being invited to Passover dinners, and helping to switch lights off on Saturdays, as recently told by one of the locals on Egyptian TV.

Bottom line...the key to stopping ISIS in Jordan is to give the Palestinians back their birthright, because then allegiances...lasting allegiances...will be forged. And if Jordan's king cannot save himself or protect his own borders from ISIS...even after asking for military protection from both the U.S. and Israel...then why do the Jordanians even bother keeping him in power for they need a leader like el-Sisi to stop ISIS dead in its tracks. Remember, the prime excuse used for keeping all Jordan's weak kings in power has always been that they protected the borders, but now with Jordan's king coming under sharp criticism from his own people...despite his having received up to $15 billion in military assistance alone from the U.S. since 2000...despite his receiving 24/7 intelligence and military surveillance reports from Israel...the simple fact is that King Abdullah II can NO longer help protect either Israel's borders or his own from ISIS.

And so it has become obvious that with ISIS already in Jordan, their king has looked away in fear because he does NOT have his people's support. If you compare him to el-Sisi, an Egyptian muslim representing 90 percent of his people to Abdullah's representing 87 people called the Hashemites, this means that even if he wanted to ban the Muslim Brotherhood...which he does NOT...or stop ISIS from further incursions into Jordan...he does NOT have the merit to do so simply because he is NOT Palestinian as are the people of his country.

So the myths about Jordan's king being the best friend Israel has...a best friend supposedly dedicated to keeping Israel safe and whole...are just that...myths...and NO more.
