...And while Biden also said, “I want the people of Florida to know you have my commitment and America's commitment that we're not going to leave. We're going to see you through this entire process,” he never stated exactly what the “process” will be. Simply, when folks are hurting, when all that was once theirs is lost, generalities are not what they want hear. They not only want but deserve answers to questions asked, something not gotten from Biden during this short and seemingly planned to be a quite rushed visit.

But if truth be told...as it always should be...answers to direct questions is something we never seem to get from Democrats as more times than not those answers can only be found buried deep within self-serving partisan driven “continuing resolutions,” which sadly seems to be the case now. Former Acting DHS Chief Rips Mayorkas' Latest Excuse for Border Crisis

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas appeared to blame Republicans for worsening the immigration crisis at the border, turning a blind eye to the Biden administration's role in the problem.

During an interview with the Dallas Morning News editorial board, Mayorkas was first asked to respond to calls for his “impeachment” by Republican senators.

In a letter sent to the DHS chief earlier this month, Sens. Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham said, “your failure to faithfully enforce this nation’s immigration laws and willful blindness to the very real humanitarian crisis at our southern border amounts to a gross dereliction of duty and a violation of your oath of office.”

Mayorkas acknowledged to the editorial board that he has “a lot of work to do, and I intend to continue to do it.” He then shifted blame to Republicans.

“The political cry that the border is open is music to the smugglers’ ears, because they take that political rhetoric and they market it," he added. Read more and see tweets here.

Biden administration to release millions of more barrels from oil reserve: report

The Biden administration is planning to release another 10 million to 15 million barrels of oil from the nation’s emergency stockpile in an effort to balance markets and prevent additional increases in gasoline prices.

The release of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve would be the latest portion of a 180-million-barrel program that started earlier this year, Bloomberg reported.

The administration is also expected to provide details this week regarding its plans to restock the emergency oil stockpile. The Energy Department announced in the spring it was planning a new method of buybacks to permit a "competitive, fixed-price" bid process that would potentially lock prices in prior to crude being delivered.

Temporary limits on exports of fuel so more gasoline and diesel will remain in the U.S. is also being considered by the administration. No timeline has been set for a decision on that step, but it will likely not happen before next month's midterm elections. Read more and see video here.
