And so it seems it was all for naught

As Iraq is on the verge of total collapse, the U.S. stock market is tanking, and oil prices are surging due to the ongoing violence throughout the entire Middle East. And Barack HUSSEIN Obama is doing NOTHING...doing NOTHING in regards to Iraq even after the Iraqi government has asked...has begged...for help. And his lack of action...except to say "we can't and won't do it for them" and that Iraq needs to settle its own political differences...political difference he has contributed directly to...will most assuredly result in the birth of a highly dangerous islamic caliphate that will NOT only be the foreboding of a jihadist takeover of Iraq and its surrounding Arab nations, but will be one which will pose a direct threat to America and all western nations as well.

Claiming he was caught off guard...LIAR...by the strength, fortitude, and determination of the extremist group the 'Islamic State in Iraq and Syria'...an extremely brutal al-Qaida affiliate known by its acronym ISIS and one that's under the command of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the terrorist released by Obama from Camp Bucca in 2009 and who still has a $10 million reward by the FBI on his head (notice a pattern here)...the major Iraqi cities of Mosul (which is less than one hundred miles from Syria and one that's strategically vital for funding al-Qaeda in Iraq) and Tikrit have fallen to the terrorists, all while Obama says he won't send in troops but might consider possible air strikes to help the flailing Iraqi government. 

Yet to date NOTHING has been done...NOTHING at all...as the growing in numbers Sunni militants are advancing south towards Baghdad by the hour...as they travel on a road riddled with headless bodies of their doing. And now these newly embolden terrorists are said to be planning to bring jihad NOT only to Iraq but to Jordan, the Gaza Strip, the Sinai, and to Lebanon as well.

And what are the U.S. trained Iraqi government forces doing...they're turning and running away in surrender. But it's NOT that they want to surrender, it's that Obama’s having given out the U.S. withdrawal date for all to hear made their standing and fighting a mute point for once we leave they know they do NOT stand a chance against this well-armed, well-financed jihadi army of sorts.

And to make this situation even worse than just for those Iraqis trying to fight back is the fact that Barack HUSSEIN Obama...the Commander-in-Chief of our armed forces...has now made each and every America death...has made every drop of American blood shed...has made every crippling wound our troops sustained...has made it all for naught as the people and the cities they gave their lives and limbs to free have now been handed back to the very terrorist groups we fought so hard to free this country from.

More American blood on his hands as the bottom line is this...Iraq's most likely soon to be fall is directly the fault of both Barack HUSSIEN Obama and his administration who have NO...I repeat NO...idea whatsoever how both reckless and dangerous its 'supposed' foreign policy is as their foreign policy is actually NO policy in support of America or its interests at all. NO foreign policy at all for how does one free and secure a country and then turn its back and abandon it with NO plan in place to keep the hard fought for peace intact.

Simply stated...one does NOT but our beloved America under this man's watch... under this traitor's watch...NOT only turns her back on our allies and friends but on we Americans as well.

Yet 'We the People' did see this coming...the generals saw this coming...while Obama and crew deliberately chose to look away and ignore the warnings sounded by those of the ground. And as both political and secular violence sadly became part of the Iraqi people's daily life over this past year...Obama did little to NOTHING to train Iraqi's army to stand strong against those wanting to undo all we had done.

And again he did little because America's enemies...because our allies enemies... are indeed his friends...are the ones to whom his true allegiances lie.

And thanks to Obama's actions...or should I say lack thereof...the die for a total Middle East implosion has been cast as Iran...Iraq's old enemy...as the very one who wants Israel wiped off the map...are coming to the aid of its long held thorn in its side. Now sending 150 of its infamous, highly trained, elite Revolutionary Guards (with promises to send more as the need arises) to aid the Iraqi government in its fight against the ISIS militants, the very incursion of Iran into the battle lights a fuse to disaster that NO one might be able to extinguish.

And as strategic alliances in the region are forced to change now that Iran has inserted themselves into the mix, what's left of the Iraqi army's command has turned over the defense of the all-important oil city of Kirkuk (often called the 'Kurdish Jerusalem') to Kurdish forces, who are deploying for yet another attack by the jihadists. And while the Kurds to the north gather for all-out war, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki issued an all-inclusive call-up in Baghdad for its citizens (30,000 have signed up so far) to help in defending the city against the advance of ISIS and other al-Qaeda forces that are poised to overrun and take over the city...forces that are now less than 25 miles away from the city's outskirts.

And Iraq falling will affect both the Middle East and the global stage as well. First, with Iraq being a huge oil exporter, damage to its production network will most assuredly have a negative effect on the world economy as oil prices will indeed rise and rise to its highest prices ever. Second, Jordan, a country already overrun with about a million refugees from the civil war in Syria, is concerned...and rightly so... about a possible influx of Iraqi Shiites and then following them with attacks by Sunni jihadistss crossing the Iraqi border. Third, with Mosul being just an hour's drive from the Kurdish regional capital of Erbil, Turkey's government is rife with fears that the involvement of Peshmerga (Kurdish) troops into the Iraqi conflict would embolden the Kurds to further their secessionist ambitions into disputed areas that both the Kurds and Turkey claim.

But lastly and most importantly is the Israel vs. Iran vs the U.S. scenario. We all know that Obama wants the al-Assad government gone, and to that affect he has been (ILLEGALLY as in Benghazi) transferring guns and weapons to the 'supposed' moderate Sunni (al-Qaeda supported) rebels for quite some time. But with the newest developments in Iraq, including the surprising development of Iran's siding with al-Maliki's government, a mutual interest has arisen for the U.S. and Iran as the last thing either country wants is a Sunni theocracy, gleamed from the playbook of Osama bin Laden, sitting on Iran's western border. But Iran is the chief enemy of Israel and with Obama constantly stabbing Israel in the back, what happens to Israel if Obama outwardly switches sides concerning all things Israel. Israel will NOT take kindly to that and this might just force Israel to do what it should have done years ago...and there's NO need to tell you what that is.

So as the now probable fall of Iraq brings back memories of the ghosts of Viet Nam...a war that should have been an American victory but one that turned into a hasty retreat NOT because of our brave troops fighting but because of the leaders behind the troops...weak leaders...leaders who put the enemies sensibilities before our own...leaders who did NOT know how to fight to win but only to sustain what they thought of as victory that sadly was anything but...I leave you with the words of Barack HUSSEIN Obama...delusional words by a delusional and evil man who now has the ghosts of America's dead resting squarely on his shoulders where they rightfully belong.

"The world is less violent than it has ever been. It is healthier than it has ever been. It is more tolerant than it has ever been. It is better fed then it's ever been. It is more educated than it's ever been."

And anyone who believes that is as delusional as he is...and the Iraqi people know that better than most as they have become the very delusion of which he speaks.

Op-ed:
Cutting deals with Obama is NOT an option

They turned him down…

And so it seems that ‘Prince’ Harry Reid is now pulling Obama’s strings for late yesterday afternoon Reid announced that he and Obama will NOT accept Boehner’s proposal regarding the short term raising of debt ceiling unless a ‘clean’ continuing resolution goes along with it…as in do what we originally demanded or you get NOTHING!

And so Speaker of the House John Boehner has been blowing smoke into the air with his proposal for a 6-week raise in the debt ceiling in exchange for the Democrats to be willing to sit down with the Republicans and negotiate on other matters…matters such as ObamaCare and spending cuts.

But why did Boehner even offer a negotiation proposal in the first place when Obama’s approval ratings have fallen to 37% in the polls, and with the fact that the sky will NOT fall if the debt ceiling is NOT raised…and all Obama’s bloviations to the contrary are just threatening game-playing words of NO substance at all.

So what was Boehner thinking when he announced that he was willing to negotiate with Obama on an extension to raise the debt ceiling…why doesn’t Boehner and his fellow Republicans get that we patriots want him and the House Republicans to stand strong and united against this most miserable excuse of a president and most assuredly NOT to negotiate with him.

I guess Boehner missed school the day the lesson was taught that you do NOT negotiate with the enemy…neither foreign nor domestic…ever.

And now it pains me to have to say that for the most part the Republican Party has let us down yet again. So to the few Republicans who publicly stood strong against Obama…especially to our hero Ted Cruz and also to Mike Lee, Marco Rubio and even Rand Paul…I apologize to you for Speaker of the House John Boehner choosing to betray you and your dedication to doing what’s right for ‘We the People’ as he caved and sold us out once again.

So it does NOT matter that Obama and Reid turned him down for Boehner did the deed and we patriots are NOT happy that he did so.

And I cannot say this enough, and I wish Boehner would let it sink into his brain…we will NOT default if we do NOT raise the debt ceiling as we have 5 times the monies needed to pay the interest on the notes due…and interest is all that has to be paid out…and Boehner should have thrown this fact in Obama’s face and used ObamaCare as his ace-in-the-hole bargaining chip if he was going to meet Obama half-way or anyway on anything.

So here the House Republicans had a chance to stand united…to stand their ground…to stand strong…as our side had the upper hand over NOT only Obama, but Harry Reid and the Senate as well. But Boehner blew it for now it sadly seems that NO matter what Obama dishes out he and the likes of McCain, Graham, and a host of other ‘so-called’ Republican party leaders will cower and cave before the man who NOT only stole an election through voter fraud, but a man whose ultimate goal is to destroy all we Americans honor and hold dear…all we honor and hold dear as he deliberately and with malice gets joy in inflicting pain...as much pain as possible on ‘We the People’…and laughs as he holds the race card over everyone’s head while doing so.

Caving to a man whose satisfaction…a satisfaction that only the most vile of human beings would revel in…is inflicting pain on those who deserve it the least…and Boehner’s offer adds an added slap to the face of true American heroes.

And as we all know Obama’s recent round of vileness was calculatingly directed at our veterans and troops starting with the closing of the World War II Memorial to our aging and frail heroes…and moved on to closing the Viet Nam Memorial to those finally getting the respect so long overdue…then continued on to closing the D-Day Memorial at Normandy...and most reprehensible of all to NOT restoring immediately the military death benefits that the government shutdown took away to family members of recently fallen troops …and Obama’s doing so out of NOTHING but sheer meanness makes what Boehner did even more reprehensible.

To say shame on him puts it oh so mildly for if Boehner had truly wanted to send something over to Obama that had true substance and teeth it should have been that the only way he would agree to raise the debt ceiling…and to raise it only temporarily at best…then removing ObamaCare from the general budget and making it a ‘stand alone bill’ would be the only way he would agree to it.

And now it’s over as Boehner was turned down and while some might think Boehner looks the hero for making the offer of compromise, if truth be told he looks like the sell-out that he is. Boehner betrayed those in his own party...brave men like Ted Cruz…and most of all he betrayed the hope that we Republicans and Tea Party members had in him to stand strong against this most vile of presidents.

And that my friends is the saddest thing of all.

Even heroes fall from grace

How sad it is when old warriors...old heroes...come to the realization that their day in the sun is over...their deeds remembered but NO longer their defining glory. How sad, but with courage and honor, some step down from positions held knowing the next generation of heroes and warriors stands at the gates ready to enter the battle.

But what's even sadder is when an old warrior and hero refuses to see the signs...refuses to step down as vanity takes over for common sense...and so the old warrior and hero carries on in a misguided attempt to capture their former glory, but instead their stubbornness defines them as an irrelevant fool...or worse.

Senator John McCain will always be a hero...a man of unquestionable valor who did during the Viet Nam War what few men would do...staying behind with his men knowing the horrors that awaited him...refusing his ticket home by honoring his oath of service. For this John McCain will always be a hero and this will NEVER be taken away from him.

But now this once great man has lost his way. Calling him a RINO is NOT quite right for he still is a man of conviction but his convictions have now become clouded NOT with age but with NOT understanding the true motives of the enemy we face today. Overstepping his bounds doing what his heart tells him to do instead of thinking his actions through...his actions and their ramifications...might take our country to a place we should NOT go nor should we be.

And so John McCain took it upon himself to try to broker an end to Syria's civil war by taking sides in a war where one side is as bad as the other. Forgetting the complexity of what's happening there..forgetting that this media so-called 'conflict' has already claimed almost 80,000 lives and counting... forgetting that of those deaths nearly 80% are civilians...forgetting that this 'conflict' has created more than a million refugees who have fled to neighboring countries...forgetting that both sides did this...both sides.

A million people without a home...a million people facing abject poverty...a million people with a score to settle for the nightmare engulfing their homeland these last two years has been fueled NOT from insiders... NOT from Syrians...but from foreign fighters, a majority of whom came from other conflicts in other countries...foreign fighters connected directly to or owing allegiance to al-Qaeda...the al-Qaeda that hides
behind masks and scarfs cowards that they are.

And these are the rebels who John McCain met with...rebels calling themselves the Free Syrian Army...just one of a group of rebels fighting the Assad regime but a group with strong ties to al-Qaeda. 
 

And with formal international discussions on Syria's civil war fast approaching (with US and Russia participating)...discussions whose goal is to create a framework for an interim government and arrange a cease-fire..this old warrior and hero had NO business meeting with forces seeking to overthrow Assad's government or meeting with anyone for that matter for he NOT a diplomat nor was he acting in official capacity...just a busy-buddy sticking his nose in where it didn't belong.

And something else McCain forgets...there are NO good guys in this war for most of the rebels are NOT interested in democracy or anything even close for their goal is to set-up an islamic theocracy in Syria complete with sharia law making a bad situation even worse. And Assad's regime is NO better for they are a brutal, anti-American government that has been involved in developing their own chemical and biological weapons...developing and using them if current reports are correct.

And the bottom line is that whomever eventually wins in Syria, the US gains NOTHING from the situation.

And John McCain, US Senator McCain, has now put himself into the middle of something we need to stay out of. Brokering deals with rebel leaders...rebel leaders who want the US to establish a no-fly zone, who want US anti-aircraft weapons and US airstrikes on Assad's forces, who want US airstrikes on Hezbollah compounds in Lebanon who are supporting Assad's forces...is NOT his job nor his place. And John McCain, in very misguided wisdom, leans towards giving them all they want, ignoring the bottom line that the Free Syrian Army wants the US to get involved in their civil war...for the US to fight their battles for them.

Let's really understand what's going on here...these people, these muslim barbarians, want our county to get involved in their county's civil war and John McCain, former warrior and hero, is willing to allow that to happen. McCain should know very well that airstrikes lead to boots on the ground, and boots on the ground lead to more American deaths at the hands of those very people out to kill us.

NO...these muslims in Syria are NOT worth one drop of American blood and except for Israel, the one Middle Eastern country that we must stand by and support at all costs...and with both sides in Syria being America's enemy...we need to let these muslims wage war on each other and kill each other off if need be, for these people on either side of the Syrian 'conflict' are NOT worth American blood...American blood that John McCain is seriously considering and recommending we give them.

And so like many old warriors and heroes, John McCain needs to realize that his day in the sun is over and that he needs to let our new warriors and heroes, the ones prepared for, as LTC Allen West says, 'the 21st century battlefield', let them make the decisions that could affect us all.
