If
the conservative insurgency has been crushed, why was Mitch McConnell
walking around onstage at CPAC with a musket? He couldn’t have sucked
up to the right any harder if he wore a tri-corner hat and had the
Gadsden flag tattooed on his rear.
The death of the conservative revolution, the Tea Party, or whatever you call it, has not merely been greatly exaggerated. It’s been flat-out lied about.
It isn’t dead. It just changed, from a shoestring operation to one with real clout. And it’s well on its way to doing what it set out to do – arm-twist a flabby, comfortable GOP into fighting for conservative values instead of just talking about them at election time.
We conservatives have two very different opponents, opponents who sometimes operate in concert.
After all, they both want us gone.
The first opponent is the left. They still call us the “Tea Party,” though we rarely use that term anymore. It’s fun to hear the liberals say it – it’s like listening to grandparents trying to sound cool.
Yeah, those hepcats are sure hip with their cool jive, daddy-o.
Every day, the lefty punditry opines about the Tea Party’s death spiral. And every day, the Tea Party refuses to crash and burn.
These clowns really believe that we are a racist movement devoted to the beliefs of the late Democrat icon and KKK kleagle Senator Robert Byrd. It’s hard to imagine a bigger misunderstanding of one’s opponent.
The left is battling not the opponent it is facing but the opponent it wants to face. It’s so much easier to fight straw men than to address the fiasco of Obamacare, the zombie economy or the endless war on women waged by their horny Democrat heroes.
They just don’t get what we are about or what we want, which they will find is a problem. Take it from someone with a little bit of military experience – you really should try to understand your enemy. It helps keep you from being, say, humiliated in a Florida special election.
And that advice isn’t coming from some dead white male – Sun Tzu was saying it 2,000 years ago.
So lefties should at least listen for the sake of diversity, but they won’t. They’re too invested in their unearned smugness. And they’re obviously racist.

The problem with the GOP Establishment is not its ideology – most of its members, in the abstract, probably generally agree with our positions. What they hate is that we intend to utterly upend their world. They have spent years in the Beltway, climbing the ladder, building careers, all within the system as it exists today. They are invested in that system just like the liberals, regardless of superficial differences over mere policy preferences.
They want to gather power within Washington then redistribute it after they take their cut. We want to re-wire the system so that Washington is left off the grid to wither back down to the miserable backwater it used to be – and should be.
D.C. is awesomely wealthy, full of fine clothes, sumptuous food, gleaming restaurants, and much more attractive people than when I interned there in 1986. The recession missed Washington, a town that produces nothing except problems for the rest of America yet is better off than anywhere else in America.
We want to end that. That we want to destroy the cushy status quo is why the GOP Establishment hates us. That we can influence elections is why it fears us.
There is a lot of propaganda about how the Tea Party ruined the GOP’s chances to take the Senate. There’s never any recognition of how conservatives are solely responsible for taking back the House. No one ever talks about the Establishment candidates who failed in places like North Dakota and California.
If the Establishment had its way, we’d have Senator Crist instead of Senator Rubio. Hell, if Crist turns back Republican next week, they’ll probably start backing him for president. That is, unless surefire winner Jeb Bush decides to run.
You always hear about a few eccentric Senate candidates the Tea Party gave us, like the Delaware sorceress and the Indiana gynecology professor, but you don’t hear about how their loser GOP primary opponents supported the Democrats in the general. So we should have supported clowns who turned traitor the moment they didn’t get their way? No thanks. If the Establishment wants loyalty, let’s see it show some.
We conservatives are forcing the GOP Establishment to at least start pretending to act conservative. Mitch McConnell didn’t shake his blunderbuss at CPAC because he loves mixing with peasants; he did it because he’s scared, and he should be. The surrender caucus didn’t retreat on guns and amnesty because they wanted to get slammed by the mainstream media. They did it because we’ll primary them at the drop of a hat.
And some of them – not all, but some – should be primaried. If Pat Roberts can’t deal with the fact that he’s not in Kansas anymore in the primary, he might lose in the general. If Thad Cochran can’t hold his Mississippi seat against an upstart after being a senator for a zillion years, then he doesn’t deserve six more.
Time is on our side. The old GOP is passing away into history. The energy, intellect and grit is all with us conservatives – anyone out there ever see a passionate squish? We’re pushing the party, kicking and screaming, to the right.
And, surprise, surprise, it looks like we conservatives are going to clean their pinko clocks in November, just like we conservatives did in 2010. Not too bad for a movement that’s been crushed.

While it’s a truism that for every finger you point at someone else
you’ve got three pointed right back at you, for liberals it’s part of
their laws of physics.It would be impossible for the laws of liberals to govern without this binding hypocrisy that keeps them in orbit.
That’s why it shouldn’t surprise you that for all the leftist rhetoric about corporations and greed contributing the decline of the country, there’s one corporate outfit that’s really screwing up this country- and it’s a creation and a creature of the left.
Like most Big Left organizations it is a corporate body that is funded by you and I, but serves only the holy trinity of liberals, leftists and liars.
That corporation is, of course, Union, Inc.
Some call it Big Labor, but that’s an insult to the dignity of labor.
And if you want to see examples of corporate personhood gone bad you needn’t look to Wall Street.
No; the stakes there are too high and the disclosures too transparent for mere corporation law to shield corporations from poor governance.
The laws of economics- the real laws, not the theories- usually take care of things in the private, corporate marketplace.
Instead- like many things in the country- you need to look farther left for real-life examples of rogue corporate personhood.
Union domination of the Democrat Party has become so entrenched- and so full of government money- that it’s impossible to tell if Union, Inc. is the parent corporation of the Democrats, or if the Democrats control the unions. And the symbiotic and sybaritic relationships between the unions and the Democrats have helped screw up corporations, municipalities and public policy in this country for too many decades.
Even as the so-called recovery notches another year, and state revenues begin to stabilize, municipalities and school districts are increasingly filing for bankruptcy in order to containing the rising cost of benefits demanded by unionized public workers.
In California, the greedy, union-benefits outfit working for public employees, called Calpers, is treated with kid gloves in both law and in practice. Law says that when municipalities file for bankruptcy, Calpers must be paid even if the benefits paid to Calpers are causing the bankruptcy.
Police can be fired, private vendors stiffed, teachers laid off, investors in public debt can get zero pennies on the dollar, but union benefits must be paid.
The city of San Bernardino however is challenging union dominance over their balance sheet. The city is $17 million behind in pension payments, “the city simply says it's broke,” reported the San Francisco Chronicle. But “San Bernardino is treating CalPERS like any other creditor that's not getting paid.”
Of course the Chronicle is livid over union benefits being treated “like any other creditor that's not getting paid.”
“We urge San Bernardino to come to a solution with CalPERS that doesn't involve shorting the fund and its own retirees - or dumping its burdens on California's other taxpayers,” says the Chronicle.
But that’s exactly what Calpers already does.
Calpers is under-funded by anywhere from 55 percent to 75 percent in large part because Calpers uses math that would land private pension managers in jail. Calpers uses annualized growth rates of 7.5 percent when in fact the pension system only returned one percent last year. A 30-year Treasury right now only returns 3.59 percent.
"Pension systems across the country continue to behave as if the days of soaring stock and real estate prices will return and continue unabated," writes Daniel Borenstein of the Contra Costa Times. "Most public sector pension plans still assume investment returns of about 7.5 percent to 8 percent annually."
And really, under the law, a private sector pension manager would go to jail for using a 7.5 percent assumption to manage their pension fund.
That’s because someone will have to pay the difference between the assumption and the real rate of return. In both the Calpers and the private cases it will be the taxpayers who will pick up the tab.
Why should the city have to lay off workers because previously-elected officials entered into unsustainable retirement programs with unions who bankrolled their candidacies? Or because unions don’t have to use generally accepted accounting practices?
Cities -and states- shouldn’t have to choose between public safety and other necessities so that liberal council members and legislators can have an adequate supply of yard signs and bumpers stickers during an election year.
And taxpayers shouldn’t have to bailout union bad behavior again, just because they bought the Democrats with cash, credit and corruption.
Former El Al security chief: Iran likely involved in Malaysia plane disappearance
He
said that “investigators were correct in honing in on the two
fake-passport carrying Iranian passengers on the doomed flight, and they
have wasted valuable time by exploring other leads.”Those Iranians do seem to have been dismissed rather casually. And Iran’s being involved would make perfect sense: the Iranian mullahs are bolder than ever, as they know that Barack Obama isn’t going to lift a finger to stop their jihad, and instead will continue to give them whatever they want.

A former security chief for El Al said that the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 points directly to Iran.
Isaac Yeffet, who served as head of global security for Israel’s national carrier in the 1980s and now works as an aviation security consultant in New Jersey, said investigators were correct in honing in on the two fake-passport carrying Iranian passengers on the doomed flight, and they have wasted valuable time by exploring other leads.
“What happened to this aircraft, nobody knows. My guess is based upon the stolen passports, and I believe Iran was involved,” he said. “They hijacked the aircraft and they landed it in a place that nobody can see or find it.”
In the immediate aftermath of the aircraft’s disappearance, which occurred last week during a standard night flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, Malaysian officials and the media were fixated on the story of two Iranians who had made it onto the plane with stolen passports. As the days wore on and the investigation uncovered new and confusing details, with officials admitting that the plane could have traveled for as long as seven hours without radio contact, and that its potential location could be anywhere from northern Kyrgyzstan to the southern Indian Ocean, attention has shifted to the pilots and to far-flung conspiracy theories. This is a misstep, said Yeffet, and one that would not have happened in Israel.
“This would never have happened on an Israeli plane,” says Yeffet. “An El Al aircraft was hijacked for the first and last time in 1968. Since then, there has not been a single flight where security did not check every single name.”
However, it would have taken more than just a pair of Iranians with forged documents, Yeffet said, to pull off such an astonishing crime. “I can’t believe for a second that if these people planned to hijack the aircraft, it was just them,” he said. But based upon the tried-and-true Israeli intelligence strategy of profiling, the pilots, he said, are unlikely suspects.
“We are talking about a captain who is 53 years old, who has worked for Malaysia Airlines for 30 years, and suddenly he became a terrorist? He wanted to commit suicide? If he committed suicide, where is the debris?”
Adding that the captain in question, Zaharie Ahmad Shah, was known to be happily married and comfortably well-off, Yeffet said the profile simply does not fit. “From the United States to China to Japan, everybody is searching for this aircraft or piece of it.
And there is no sign. So in my opinion, the aircraft was hijacked. And it was an excellent plan from the terrorists, to land in a place where they can hide the plane and no one can find it.”
Lt. Col. (Res.) Eran Ramot, a former IAF fighter pilot and the head of aviation research at Israel’s Fisher Institute for Air and Space Strategic Studies, however, drew other conclusions.
“It would be very complicated [for someone other than the pilot to have flown the plane],” Ramot said, based on the stunning revelations that the flight not only made a total U-turn from its planned route but also dipped in between radar points for hours and had all of its tracking systems manually turned off. “It takes somebody that knows how to operate an airplane like this.”
Like Yeffet, Ramot believes the plane was being intentionally flown to a secret location, and he went as far as to say he is holding out hope that the 239 passengers and crew who were on board are still alive.
“We don’t know any better yet,” he said. “One of my theories is that the airplane landed in Bangladesh. It could reach there, it’s very close to Afghanistan. It could have landed on airstrip there, and everybody on board is still alive. It could be done.”
Asked what would have happened if the plane – which went undetected for hours as it blipped across Malaysian radars – had entered Israeli airspace, Ramot said, “It would not go unnoticed, that’s for sure. Action would have been carried out, the least of which would have been an interception to escort it.”
That doesn’t mean that the Malaysian military wasn’t paying attention, he added. It’s simply that in Israel, the margin for taking chances is significantly reduced.
“It’s a matter of atmosphere,” he said. “Here, every blip on the screen is suspicious because that’s the way we live. That’s our daily program. I can’t imagine they pay as much attention, but if a blip runs wide or runs strange, I would expect them to notice.”
Pini Schiff, one of Israel’s top aviation security experts, said that if there is any comfort that Israelis can take from the story of MH 370, which is proving to be one of the most confounding aviation disasters of all time, it is that it could never happen to a plane flying out of Ben-Gurion International Airport.
“It simply wouldn’t happen at Ben-Gurion,” he said. “The level of security at Ben-Gurion and on all El Al planes is so high, there is nothing more they could do… Nations are not spending billions of dollars the way the Israeli government is protecting Israeli aviation, because the threat against Israeli aviation is so high. What we are doing in Ben-Gurion is an operation that is not being done in any other airport in the world.
Not in the United States, not in Britain, not in Germany, not anywhere.”
Like his colleagues, Schiff said that his guess is as good as anyone’s as to the fate of MH 370, but he also believes there’s a good possibility that it has been brought down, intact, on a hidden runway in some far-flung corner of the world.
“It will be found. It may take a month or a year, but eventually, it will be found,” he said.
“This aircraft didn’t vanish. It exists somewhere in the world, and it will be found, probably in one piece.”
Missing Plane's Tracking Device Disabled Before 'All Right' Radio Call
The final words heard transmitted from the flight deck of the
missing Malaysian Airlines jetliner — "All right, good night" — were
uttered after the plane's signaling equipment was shut off, a senior
Malaysian official said Sunday.
"Yes, it was disabled before," said Hishammuddin Hussein of the tracking system in response to a question about the crew's final, seemingly normal, radio transmission, The New York Times reports.
The revelation came as investigators continued to trawl through the backgrounds of the pilots, crew and ground staff who worked on a missing jetliner for clues as to why someone on board flew it perhaps thousands of miles off course, the country's police chief said.
Meanwhile, the British Sunday Telegraph reported that Saajid Muhammad Badat, a British-born al-Qaida informant, told authorities in court last week that he was aware of a long-standing plot by a group of Malaysians — one of whom reportedly was a pilot — to hijack an airliner.
Badat said he once supplied the cell with a shoe bomb and that 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, now being held in Guantánamo, was the plot's original organizer.
Security experts told the Telegraph that the evidence was “credible”. Badat, who is in hiding, said that he had met the Malaysian jihadists – one of whom was a pilot – in Afghanistan and given them a shoe bomb to use to take control of an aircraft.
“These spectaculars take a long time in the planning,” one British expert told the paper.
Testifying at the trial in New York of Sulaiman Abu Ghaith, Osama bin Laden’s son-in-law, Badat said: “I gave one of my shoes to the Malaysians. I think it was to access the cockpit.”
Badat told the court that the Malaysian plot was being masterminded by Mohammed, the principal architect of 9/11. Mohammed kept a list of the world’s tallest buildings and crossed out New York’s Twin Towers after the September 11, 2001 attacks with hijacked airliners as “a joke to make us laugh," Badat said.
The Mail of Britain also reported Sunday that the pilot of missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 was a "strident" supporter of opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim.
Hours before the plane took off, Capt. Zaharie Ahmad Shah reportedly attended a session of Ibrahim's long-running court proceedings. His colleagues said the captain was preoccupied with Ibrahim's trial. Reuters reported that postings on his Facebook page also seem to confirm this.
Ibrahim is a former deputy premier of Malaysia. He broke with the ruling Barisan Nasional Party and founded an anti-corruption reformist Islamic movement. He has been involved in lengthy proceedings following his imprisonment for alleged corruption and homosexual activity. Ibrahim is currently out on bail and the leader of the Malaysian parliamentary opposition. He is planning to run for re-election in his constituency on March 23.
Additionally, reports also emerged of the presence of an aviation engineer among the passengers, the Times reported.
But background checks of passengers have so far drawn a blank, though not every country whose nationals were on board has responded to requests for information, police chief Khalid Abu Bakar told a news conference on Sunday.

No trace of the Boeing 777-200ER has been found since it vanished on
March 8 with 239 people on board, but investigators believe it was

To cut the retirement benefits of the military is the most grievous of acts any Commander-in-Chief can do to those who lay their lives on the line every day to keep us safe and free and home. And by turning his back on our military Barack HUSSEIN Obama has, with NO guilty conscious whatsoever, been able to reduce military pensions by 10% (done so by converting part of their retirement to 401(k)-like defined-contribution plans from defined-benefit plans) as well as imposing cuts that slash subsidies for base commissaries, imposing a 5% increase in the cost of military housing, and placing a 1% cap on annual active-duty pay increases resulting in losses up to $5,000 in annual benefits for those whose basic pay is $18,194, which, by the way, is well below the federal poverty line.
Well below what the 'sponges' get in freebies and handouts.
And when you add in the unemployment rate for post-9/11 veterans
being 7.9%...as opposed to the national civilian average of around 7%...and
with 340,000 veterans receiving public money for housing in addition to
900,000 veterans living on food stamps with almost 5,000 active duty
troops receiving food stamps as well, and now add in this little bit of
happiness into the mix as the Pentagon's proposed budget cuts will result in up
to 90,000 servicemen and women needing to look for civilian jobs....and
you have one major slap in the face to all our brave warriors...both
past and present.
Nothing as low as sticking it to those fighting for our freedoms, but this president is so low that he has to look up to look down as the soldiers he sent to Afghanistan and Iraq that were severely wounded got stabbed in the back again once they got home by first denying them NOT only benefits due relating to their injuries, but then making them jump through red-tape hoops to get the very treatment they desperately need and are entitled to.
Claiming all this is to save money, the fact is that an honorable man...an honorable leader...would NEVER take anything away from those who are America's first line of defense, especially when all these cuts target the military but do NOT apply to Obama-loving political groups and programs.
And with all these cuts...cuts that NOT only hurt financially but are intended to break our troop's spirit...to damage their very souls...and doing it at a time when they just might be needed yet again for if the Ukraine situation spreads beyond its borders a confrontation with 'mother' Russia herself could be in the making.
Imagine this scenario ...Vladimir Putin is NOT happy with just the
Crimea so he sets his sights on the Ukraine itself, and then decides he
wants more. Not so far-fetched actually as right now there are 20,000
Russian troops and armored vehicles amassing in at least three regions
along Ukraine’s eastern border, and you know it cannot be for anything
good. Posturing for war while phony balloting is going on, as yesterday a
referendum was held to determine whether Crimea will join the Russian
Federation or declare its independence from Ukraine...a referendum where
remaining part of the Ukraine is NOT even an option on the ballot.
Score one for Putin as he just moved into checkmate position.
And don't think Ukraine will just sit back and allow this for agreements signed back in 1994 that made Crimea part of the Ukraine were signed by the Russians even though now they have been rendered null and void by a man hell bent on reassembling the old Soviet empire thus making the agreements signed NOT even worth the paper they were printed on as Putin tries to shape Ukraine's future...tries to shape Russia's future...by simply threatening war.
So as Vladimir Putin flexes his military muscle...as he rebuilds Russia's armed forces...a priority for Putin as the attitude of the Russian people favors and supports the ongoing militarization of Russia... rebuilds to a tune of US-$78.7 billion in 2014, US-$96.4 billion in 2015, and US-$105.2 billion in 2016 respectively...Barack HUSSEIN Obama cuts our military funding by over $41 billion which is indeed a gift to our enemies...and cuts our manpower to levels NOT only to those of pre-WWII but to levels that might NOT even be able to stand up against the 'Russian Bear's' forces...if Putin decides to go beyond the Ukraine's borders into Europe itself...perhaps.
And as the U.S. has a total volunteer army, who in their right mind
would sign on for a job were one is NOT only NOT appreciated for what
they do, but a job where your Commander-in-Chief has NO respect or
interest in the uniform you wear nor does he care for your welfare once
you come home...a job where your Commander-in-Chief simply does NOT have
your back covered but instead chooses to protect the lives of those who
are actually trying to kill you.
And by cutting all from the military both budget wise and benefit wise, Barack HUSSEIN Obama has actually surrendered to those who are America's enemy...to those out to kill us all.
And this man is still sitting in the White House, and I can't help but question as to why our military leaders allow this to go on, especially with the 'Russian Bear' knocking at our door.
